UPDATE: OmniHack acknowledges that it mistakenly added Jihad Watch to its list, and apologizes. (Thanks to Tobias.)
Even though they are targeting Jihad Watch, it seems as if OmniHack is opposing the Islamic State. Another OmniHack tweet links to this list of “New ISIS Targets to DDos,” and the list includes Jihad Watch.
Morons (although to be sure, despite Omni Hack’s opposition to the Islamic State, it is not at all clear from their Twitter feed that they’re opposed to jihad terror in general). But they are not alone. Since the rise of the Islamic State I have received an increasing number of emails from Muslims who misunderstand what side this site is on (misunderstanders of Jihad Watch!), asking me how they can join a terrorist group. I have been receiving five or ten such emails weekly for months now. They all go to the FBI, such as it is.
Anyway, Jihad Watch is under more or less constant attack from supporters and enablers of jihad terror who cannot stand the fact that we tell the truth about jihad terror. But we have some of the most sophisticated and powerful security devices available in place, and are standing firm. I will keep telling unwelcome and unpopular truths as long as I am still breathing.
(Thanks to Ryan Mauro for alerting me to the above tweets.)
