Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

“One of the world’s 500 most influential Muslims” backs the Islamic State

Nov 2, 2014 4:53 pm By Robert Spencer

Kireka-Whaanga“If you practise your religion then of course you’ll be 100 per cent behind Islamic State.” But…but…it’s a tiny minority of extremists who have nothing to do with Islam! How did Te Amorangi Kireka-Whaanga, one of the world’s 500 most influential Muslims, come to misunderstand Islam in this way? I trust that Barack Obama is sending John Kerry to New Zealand pronto Te Amorangi Kireka-Whaanga how to understand Islam properly.

“Maori Muslim backs Islamic State,” by Tony Wall and Marty Sharpe, Stuff.co.nz, November 2, 2014 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

An influential Maori Muslim leader is openly supporting the Islamic State militant group and believes Kiwi fighters should not be stopped from joining.

Te Amorangi Kireka-Whaanga is the head of the Aotearoa Maori Muslim Association and in 2010 was named one of the world’s 500 most influential Muslims by a group in Jordan, one of only two New Zealanders to make the list.

The Sunday Star-Times began investigating him after discovering his Facebook pages were festooned with Islamic State imagery. He has 905 friends on Facebook, many of them Muslim converts from around New Zealand. His pages have been repeatedly taken down in recent weeks by Facebook administrators.

Islamic State has been taking over towns and cities in Syria and Iraq, conducting massacres and beheadings of hostages, as it tries to establish an Islamic caliphate. Its followers in the West have been conducting “lone wolf” terrorist attacks in recent weeks.

At home in Hastings yesterday, Kireka-Whaanga told the Star-Times Muslims were being killed all over the world, the United Nations “doesn’t care” and he understood Islamic State’ actions.

“If you practise your religion then of course you’ll be 100 per cent behind Islamic State,” he said, adding that he was not a violent person. His comments come as tension rises between Muslim New Zealanders and others in the community following statements by Prime Minister John Key about the domestic terror threat.

Muslim leaders and senior police met in Auckland on Friday to discuss the issues.

Federation of Islamic Associations (FIANZ) president Anwar Ghani said they expressed concerns about the amount of harassment they were getting, including women wearing veils being abused, while police asked that community leaders keep an eye out for changing behaviour among potential radicals.

Kireka-Whaanga said John Key was right to be worried because Islamic State was going to “bring down Western civilisation”. He said his family wanted to move to Syria but he expected his passport would be cancelled. He claimed to have one “brother” in Syria at the moment.

“If I want to go to Syria that should be my right and my choice. It’s like the Jews going to fight for Israel to kill the Palestinians. They don’t stop that.”

On Wednesday Key will make a speech outlining the Government’s plans to combat foreign fighters.

Security Intelligence Service director Rebecca Kitteridge said Islamic State propaganda material telling followers “every Muslim should get out of his house, find a crusader and kill him” brought the threat closer to home than people thought. “There is a range of people who we are concerned about here,” she said. She refused to discuss individuals. Kireka-Whaanga, 40, who has Mongrel Mob connections, said he used Facebook to “propagate the faith. I am pushing the religion. I like going into chatrooms and talk about Islam.”

He said Islamic State supporters among local Muslims were in the minority but this would change “once we start talking to each other”.

He said he had been regularly visited by police and intelligence agents since 9/11.

“If I say a word out of line [on Facebook] the police can show up. They get worried I’m going to go and blow up people. Once they understand I’m not like that they’re OK.”

FIANZ says Kireka-Whaanga’s views are misguided and not shared by most Muslims….

What? He has suddenly lost all of his influence?

Fighting to impose Allah’s religion, Sharia law and the adulation of Mohammed (the allegedly perfect man) have NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM.

You are an not informed or Muslim liar (NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM.), as this is the rules:

The Qur’an denotes conflicting passages where the latest
passage is always the correct one over the oldest passage, as
in peaceful tolerant passages where 1st, thus are void by
later more violent passages. Thus there is no non violent
passages implemented or very little, and none can Hi-Jack
Islam as it is written for a direct interpretation. Muslins
know they can not alter or misinterpret but instead can
      deceive or lie.

ISLAM is an Utility Ideology more than its a religion. If you
took Christian faith, combined it with federal law and state
law and corrections law and actions of a jury, made it
Political and mandatory over anything else, would a Pastor
then consider that as a religion…. NO ! So Sharia Law is
what is implemented and is mandatory except for Muslims whom
then would be refereed to as non Muslims because they do not
practice it. It is a Society Behavior, period, just like
a constitution defines its rules. It contains, punishments,
morals, beliefs, contracts and is actually a Trojan Horse for
a being State like. Democracies of man whom defy and use free
speech to criticize the Qur’an must be eliminated by all Muslims.
Sharia is implemented in non Muslim countries by a methodology
called creeping sharia because it is a slow methodology
advanced slowly until a point of no return. There
courts can operate outside the bounds of whatever the current
government laws where located. Sharia eventually is incorporated
into that government over time. All drinkers and gamblers
must be whipped. Husbands can hit their wives. Legal revenge
is literal as an eye for an eye, a hand for a hand and
thieves loose hands. Homo-Sexuals are to be executed.
Fornicators are whipped & Adulterers are stoned. Critics
of Muhammad, Qur’an and Sharia are ordered to death. No free
speech on Qur’an criticisms. Apostates or those whom disbelieve
are killed commands aggressive and unjust jihad. Sharia is law
of Allah and anything else is a sin. ALL Muslins are mandated
to keep striving until all governments are converted to sharia
      law.

Muslims are mandated to deceive in any way, non-muslins when it
helps ISLAM, using Taqiyya. You lie to non-Muslims to spread
ISLAM is mandated. That is why you hear Muslims say things that
are odd to Westerners and sometime identify that are lies, else
say nothing which looks dis-functional. This is the same for
ISLAM in war. Non-Islamic war is in effect until Sharia Law
is the Whole World, just like ISIS says. Non Muslims are always
      enemies.

Islam is religion of peace, is spouted from early passages in
Qur’an which are null & void, while Muslims use Taqiyya against
non Muslims and peace only comes when Islam and Sharia rein in
      every country.

So when you hear people say
      religion
      religion of peace
Correct the Muslim lying or slap the infidel for Not Knowing death

Such a sad day of events unfolding before our very eyes. Never thought to see a New Zealander willingly convert and become a Muslim, then choosing Islamic ideology. Thank goodness for Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Brigette Gabriel to name but a few, who keep me informed on world wide events to do with Islam. It is good to see John Key leading a political agenda to take the fight to the middle east. How many in our beautiful land of New Zealand think like this Kireka-Whaanga. This is not good for us, I am offended by Islam, I don’t like, I am offended by the Quran, I don’t like it, through Robert Spencer’s knowledge of the Quran you get a wider picture of what Muslim’s believe in. Over 43,000 Muslims living here in New Zealand already, and it is meant to be a religion of peace…we shall see what the future holds for us, because we live in a society such as ours, we are allowed the right to be offended, . New Zealand is the last bastion point in the world that still is able to keep our moral compass intact, for as long as we can, cracks are appearing, I get that, but we can close and cement them by showing solidarity against the rise of evil and it’s name is Islam. God bless New Zealand.

    —————————————————————-

Are there any other Kiwis on this forum?

*This* is what I was worried about when I mentioned this before.

Mongrel Mob connections?? Naturally! And Black Power et al. Of course they’re pushing the “religion.”

They would love Islam and all the associated violence that comes with it.

How many of us have Mongrel Mob members and other violent individuals in our community who are ripe for Islamic conversion? (let’s try very hard not to bring race into this so we don’t give them an excuse to cry about it. Some of them are also perpetual self-labelled victims which is another thing they have in common).

Mongrel Mob are not always easily identifiable in our communities either. For example, I know a couple who accidentally rented their house out to the Mongrel Mob. Now they can’t get rid of them because they’re afraid of them…Hmm…No wonder they like Islam.

As we discussed earlier on this forum, AMMA (Aotearoa Maori Muslim Association) has supposedly said that “jihad” is the perfect vehicle for Maori nationalism. So what is that in reference to? The Qur’an has already been translated into Maori also.

What about those in the very far north? And I know general attitudes and behaviour there well. If they introduce Islam to maraes there, it would be a disaster. Hair-trigger anger and then resulting violence is not uncommon at all. Not specifically at maraes, but at their “piss ups.” They are emulating their parents who smoke too much weed. Let’s be honest.

      Hi Jen,
The Iranian consulate has had a push for “Islam in Schools”, like Bible in Schools for several years. There is a full time Muslim Maori evangelist that visits prisons (this was 5 years ago, there may be more now). As in other Western countries Islam appeals to rough and alienated men, the kind that we often find in prison. Those already with a chip on their shoulders find a welcome home in the prophet’s deen. They can have “god” on their own terms, they can still hit their women and feel really justified of their hatred of the “Other”.

When I studied the growh of Islam in Africa it became evident that many tribes chose to convert to Islam rather than Christianity because Islam gave them a standing with Western authorities that Christianity didn’t. In short, they could inspire fear – what they might call respect. We know how readily this thinking might be received in NZ don’t we?

Unfortunately this is a religion that too often appeals to the worst aspects of pretend manhood – boozing, fighting, not caring for women or children, all that psuedo macho junk. We should be concerned. I have an answer: pour more money into Christian evangelism programmes in prisons. But then the government will not be seen to be treating all religions as equally valid and good, and that will never do…

      All the best

        Nov 2, 2014 at 6:36 pm

I’d better clarify (sloppy again!) :
the African tribal conversions I refer to are the conversions of more recent decades, not the large, older historic ones such as the Fulani & Hausa in Nigeria.
I might add the recent conversions of Indian Daliths (Outcastes) saw some convert to Christ and others to Muhammad. The latter group presumably also due to the perceived greater “respect” they might expect to receive.

      • Jen says

        Nov 2, 2014 at 7:29 pm

Oh Jesus…..*Who* is the Muslim Maori evangelist that is visiting them in prison? Do you know? I didn’t even know this. Even my prison prediction came true.

The last 5 years or so, I have noticed an increase in Muslims. Particularly from “moderate” Malaysia. Noteworthy though, having lived surrounded by them in my different apartments, they do not behave any differently to any other Muslims. They associate with Muslims of all backgrounds including the African Muslims who are possibly the children of the hundreds of Somali refugees we let in years ago; but they do not spend time with non-Muslims unless they are required. Their segregation from the rest of society is intentional. (And the Somali refugees have behaved violently also- walking around with knives and threatening people).

And as far as Islam in schools: even in Christian schools, they do not bother to tell the truth about Islam. Nothing about Muhammad’s bad behaviour was mentioned. I find it appalling that they even dared to compare Islam with Judeo-Christian values. Carefully selecting the study materials to put Islam in only a positive light is the only explanation for that. I actually don’t think the teachers themselves were aware about Islam. They were just teaching from the materials they were provided with.

These certain individuals…whose background we won’t explicitly name…Are much the same in their ideas about how “respect” is something which should be commanded (through violence) and not something that should be earned (through good behaviour). Yes, you’re right- Islam would be very well received there.

So you’re kiwis Liam and Jen? Kia ora.

We know a guy who regularly visits Paremoremo prison to witness Christ to inmates. He goes into D block which houses the most dangerous crims and says it’s crawling with Muslim imams.

I guess to hardened criminals joining Islam is like joining a gang, and supporting ISIS would follow naturally. They don’t even need to leave Aoteraroa, just take your aggro out on the locals. I’m sure the SIS is keeping tabs on these guys, but who is going to take the rap for letting the scourge of ME Islam into NZ? I don’t recall much problem with Fijian or Indian Muslims in the past.

          Nov 2, 2014 at 10:52 pm

          @deja vu

The reason you/we didn’t notice any problems is because there was a very small number of them in the past. It is the *number* of them which is the significant point. Along with this, is the associated pride which comes with ‘strength in numbers’ where they can then begin to impose aspects of Islamic culture on the local population. *Where* they originate from is not the most important point but rather what percentage they are of the total population. You don’t need *many* to cause serious problems. NZ is a country with a very small population. It would not take many converts to Islam or many new Muslim immigrants to create the kind of problems which are happening in places all over the world.

I never knew the name of the Maori evangelist. That information, along with the info about the Iranian embassy “Qur’an in Schools” push came from an Anglican Indian acquaintance involved in misson work here in Enzed among the Muslims. A great chap, as far as I can tell money for supporting him ran out and his work came to an end.

Personally, I greeted a Malay girl in Wellington when I visited a few years ago. Her attitude was gorgeous! In response to my cheerful “Hello!” as I walked arm in arm with my wife I got back this absolutely fantastic curl of the top lip and turn up of the nose. It was so classicly done I had to laugh. it was much as I imagined an Orthodox Rabbi might react to an extremely pushy Hare Krishna at the airport. Just priceless.

I have an acquaintance who is a nurse who told me about the way the Somali men in particular treat her female colleagues – like dogs basically. In turn she had developed a deep and abiding reciprical resentment for them.

There was a Michael Laws talkback a year or two ago when that Somali took a knife and meat cleaver to a couple of people in Christchurch. There was actually a huge amount of public feedback about their self-segregation and violence, especially towards women. People who visit Jihadwatch were not surprised at all as it predictably followed the pattern of Muslim enclaves in Europe and elsehwere in the West.

Laws, however, attributed it all to “culture” and Post Traumatic Stress. We are in a great deal of trouble – as you & Deja vu are well aware – and it is extremely difficult to talk about the issues even at this early stage. But if we keep talking – or perhaps, keep publicly asking the right kind of awkward questions that only lead to awkward answers – we can still make sense to normal people who in growing numbers are getting more & more concerned.

          @deja vu

Gidday cobber! Nice to see there are a few of us around here now. I think when I started here I might have been the only kiwi commenting.

That is very bad news about Paremoremo. Very bad news indeed.

Re Fijian Muslims: one of the three Ulema of the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand Dr. Anwar Sahib, at least until last year, was a Fijian Indian who earned his PhD in Saudi Arabia and taught at the Islam Online University founded by Billal Philips. Philips is well known for his “radicalism” (read: Orthodoxy) and preaches death to apostates etc. yet the FIANZ seemingly had no problem having him as one of their national Ulema – although he may now be gone. Sahib also stated to a news outlet here that 2 Fijian Indian Muslims had gone to fight with the IS.

You two may have read of the Somalis taking over the mosques and making them more orthodox, I have heard of this. The Somalis also seem to have a racial issue too which doesn’t enable them to mix easily with other Muslims (whom they often call “Arabs”).
Interesting that the meat cleaver attack man and the lady that hijacked the aeroplane near Blenheim a few years ago are both Somali.

We can’t avoid the inevitable escalation of problems with increases in population densities (percentages) of Muslims in our cities. Further I see no reason why we should miss out on the growth of isolated armed Muslim training camps/settlements out in the wops as have developed in the US.

        • Jen says

          Nov 3, 2014 at 1:59 am

          @Liam

“Her attitude was gorgeous!” My heart almost stopped while reading that line because I thought you were going to describe a really nice encounter.

“Post Traumatic Stress”…Yes, that doesn’t help explain why immigrants from other backgrounds have no issues with violence when moving to NZ despite their home country’s problems. If I was attacked, I would be furious at someone calling it “cultural” differences or PTS. Who is the victim here?! Even judges sometimes act like the criminals are the victim. What was that line again? “You’re only 19, you’re not a lost cause.” He gets a slap on the wrist. Fast-forward less than nine years and he abducted and murdered a woman.

Well, I was a long-time customer at a Muslim owned dairy. The male owner was a real pervert (how surprising). I avoided being served by him where possible as they often had at least two people working at the check-out. The female owner rarely looked at me when I said hello. This is after seeing these people frequently for over 6 years and buying plenty from them. And being their neighbour at one point.

When I was looking for a new apartment last year, one of the other individuals looking with me (and the real estate woman) was a Muslim man from Afghanistan. It looked like he was a new arrival as he had his papers with him. He was *extremely* arrogant and walked with his chest (literally) puffed out and his nose in the air (literally) and he stood very close to the real estate lady and talked down to her the entire time. His ‘walking style’, very much reflected his misguided belief that he was the most charming and handsome man on the planet. He comes over here thinking that he can bring his Islamic misogyny with him! Myself and the other lady were quite uncomfortable.

What can we do about this? More people need education about Islam. I am going to be devastated if little old NZ starts having the problems that other countries are having. The problems won’t be dealt with in a serious way until it becomes obvious to everyone that it actually is a problem. By that time, we could have countless Muslims living here.

Several years ago I took an ESOL course and part of it involved a visit to the Mangere refugee resettlement centre. As we walked past the most recent arrivals from Somalia, I felt a sense of dread. The vibes from the scowling tribesmen slumped against the doorposts were distinctly hostile (and this was in the late ’90s). They looked as if they’d been directly transported from herding goats in the barren and lawless hinterland of Somalia a couple of weeks ago. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to send them to NZ in mid-winter, or to NZ at all, I don’t know. It was either a case of gross ignorance or gross mismanagement on the part of all concerned.

Meanwhile the women were busy in the classroom learning how to use an EFTPOS machine so that they could withdraw their benefits. At the same time many of the arrivals from Eritrea were sent straight to hospital for treatment of HIV/AIDS and TB. This is what comes from being a signatory to the UNHCR. The chances of these tribal people, whose culture is diametrically opposite to that of modern Western democracies, is asking for trouble. And trouble we’ve got.

The Left/Green lobby is also responsible for shutting down any discussion or dissent on the issue. Their loathing of Christianity, plus their alliance with those who are dividing and undermining our society, is a good example of ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’. Perhaps they don’t realise that the crocodile will almost certainly eat them first.

I’ve known only four Muslim ladies personally Jen. Three were really lovely, very Westernised and you wouldn’t have known they were Muslims. One had a head covering and was also very nice, she wanted a room in our church to gather Muslim ladies to pray for relatives back in Iraq during the war. We were happy to help her but in the end she decided not to worry about it because she didn’t want to put us in what she thought might be an awkward situation.

At the time I met them I didn’t understand Islam as the cult I now understand it to be. I regret not being able to do more for them.

——————————————————————————————You’re so right. And I agree that the country of origin is irrelevant today. My previous comment about Fijian and Indian Muslims applied to decades ago, not recently. The camel has certainly got more than his nose under the tent, to use an Arab proverb.

However, I think that having a very small population is in our favour as not much escapes the notice of others. Remember thet occasion when Muslim cafe owners in Invercargill (Maori wife) kicked out two women with toddlers because they were Jewish. That didn’t go down well with the locals and they had to apologise, or face having to shut their business through the lack of patronage.

I would like to see an immediate moratorium on Islamic immigration. If NZ is obliged to take refugees from the ME, they should accept only Christians escaping from the barbarism of Islam. You can write to MPs all you like but you will only ever get a form reply.

The far north would be absolutely prime for terrorist training camps. So much land with nobody around. Endless stretches of beach. Maraes to ‘have a feed.’ Little ‘police stations’ where they’re probably related to the person who works there. Much like most of NZ really, we have so much space.

Thanks all for listing some matters I haven’t heard about before.

The small population can be seen as a benefit, you’re right.

          Muhammad was an extraordinary person.
Ordinary thieves, rapists, adulterers, and murderers don’t go to the despicable lengths of inventing an Allah excuse and call it Islam.

In Islam a woman is worth half a man and a Jew is considered vastly inferior to a Muslim.

Yet Islam’s supposed prophet was poisoned by a Jewish woman that Muhammad allowed to cook his food seeking vengeance for murdering her family and enslaving her.
Why would God appoint such a fool who could not see the obvious?

Yep, take note everyone of the “moderate” Muslim Rezali and her vile comments again. Typical Muslim dog.

Even though they aren’t ‘petty’ as the “moderate” Muslim Rezali has described. Rather the observations are representative of a wider systemic problem with Muslims globally who refuse to integrate with non-Muslims in their host countries. If it were a “one-off” you might be able to say it wasn’t a genuine problem. However, Muslims have a mandated hatred for non-Muslims, as per their Islamic texts. They are simply uncivlized people. All of them, including Rezali should get out of our countries.

Rob, Agree that Islam is protected and that just sucks, to put it bluntly, this should be an anathema to our own paradigm shift. Why protect a group who sole purpose is terrorism, anarchy, destruction, beheadings, murder etc., on a daily basis. Where is the protest, outcry around the world for the murder of thousands of people being butchered in the middle east. Where Maori are concerned, they are painted with a broad brush and not in a good light sometimes, yes they are protected because they protested for their history to be settled according to the claims made to the government, for the fulfilment of their obligations signed by the treatise, whether it be wrong or right, the government has honoured that obligation and signed off, now there is only one tribe left, finished. Don’t get me started with fishing rights. Protected they are Rob, not all, but we still get to keep our heads, right!!!! Being a born and bred JAFA (Just Another Fabulous Aucklander), now residing in Kerikeri, and knowing that our jails are filled with Maori, we can only hope that their whanau are Christian orientated and will not be lead down the path of destruction to follow a concept, societal regime ideology that is called Islam through becoming a Muslim. When push comes to shove, there is a lot of Maori up here who will fight against tyranny, and Islam is it’s name. Thought provoking. God rules this land, he has our back, come against a New Zealander, bring it, looks like war is coming down the pipeline toward us in the future, we will be ready, remember Maori have lived off the land for generations, we will get our own children up here and learn hunter gathering skills for food, clothing and survival. For an Aucklander to learn these skills OMGoodness, will get there though, good debate…yeh I know, rabbiting on, still in good company and don’t say die inside JEN…your a soldier for the Lord, your covered mate. We try. Fortunately, as well as being fairly easy-going, most Maoris are actually down to earth types who appreciate plain talk and can read people very well – so an honest opinion offerred with research with a good attitude will often be received. Just get a relationship going first and you’re on the way to being heard once trust is established and you know you ike each other.

Thought for the day: can’t somebody send this creep (who is to Maori culture and people as the evil Samantha Lewthwaite is to UK English culture and people) a white feather – or a yellow feather – and inquire of him why he isn’t off to Syria to join his Arab Muslim lords-and-masters in the Islamic State, already?

NZ is a country with a very small population. It would not take many converts to Islam or many new Muslim immigrants to create the kind of problems which are happening in places all over the world.
      ——————————————————————————————
You’re so right.

That didn’t go down well with the locals and they had to apologise or face having to shut their business through the lack of patronage.

I would like to see an immediate moratorium on Islamic immigration. If NZ is obliged to take refugees from the ME, they should accept only Christians escaping from the barbarism of Islam. You can write to MPs all you like but you will only ever get a form reply.

New Zealand is ripe for an Islamic take over. All the signs are there: the high numbers of immigrants from Muslim countries, mosque building, courses on Islamic studies at universities bringing in more Muslim students, setting up Muslim only schools and madrassers, infiltration into government positions, take over of the meat industry which is now 90% Halal and prosletising amongst Maori nationalist activists. Add to this the appalling lack of ability to see what is happening to their country by huge numbers of Kiwis and their inbred naivety and you have a situation which favours Islam and is widely supported by the government.

NZ suffers from the ‘she’ll be right’ syndrome and needs a wake-up call. This isn’t going to ‘come right’ because we’re so accommodating and friendly. There was a time when we used to take note of what was happening overseas and learn from it.

The Govt seem very sure it has it sussed, but this is different. We’re fighting an evil ideology which, similar to orcs, is spawned in the darkness – this time within people’s souls. Hydra-like it grows more heads when fought.

The hand-wringing Left/Greens bear much responsibility for the fawning and appeasing, the muzzling of honest debate, and the wilful blindness which has lulled us into apathy. But, at the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, there’s no other explanation for the actions of the Government than that they are involved in the NWO and are speaking with a forked tongue. Many if not most of us have been effectively disenfranchised by the National Party’s inexplicable immigration policies.

Tommo, as a South African brought up on a huge dose of Boks vs All Blacks rugby, and through that – because of the great rivalry – a strange affection for New Zealand, it is truly sad to read your comments and those of Jen and George regarding that country’s direction. Never did I imagine that NZ would open its doors to such foolishness. But that said, it is much the same in Canada, the doors opened and regardless of the threat Islam poses and the murderous actions of Muslims in recent days, little inclination among the politicians to close them. Here today multiculturalism and pathetic notions about ‘diversity’ reign at the expense of Canadians who are surrendering their ways and culture to accommodate the dirtbags from the Muslim lands. Can you imagine schools in Ontario adopting Muslim prayers – after rejecting The Lords Prayer – and this country’s beginnings based upon Christians lines and values? Why this development? The miserable – liberal/left authorities said the Lords Prayer was “offensive” – but evidently Muslim prayers (the prayers of utter savages who murder Christians, Yazidis, Kurds and other Muslims!) are not! Today, from a position of once being benign about these matters – in happier days – but following some thoroughly disagreeable experiences with Muslims (during which after 9/11 I didn’t conceal my disgust – the belligerence of which actually stunned three or four of them into silence!), I avoid doing business with them and thus avoid halal food – although it is sometimes halal without one knowing it. Why deal with people who are so absurd as to consider themselves superior and who often cannot bring themselves to be civil. Why put my money into the pockets of such wretched people?

Incidentally, last year I read that All Black Sonny Boy Williams had converted to Islam and considered that a strange development in NZ. Now, it seems, I shouldn’t be surprised.

      • Jen says

        Nov 4, 2014 at 2:58 am

Sonny is obviously an idiot. Here were quotes from the newspaper about him: “He is practising the religion and he is a great role model for the youngsters.” “Everyone talks about it you know. The Muslim community, everyone knows everyone, you know.”

What was he playing at? As if we need people who are in the public eye and wearing the black jersey to be promoting Islam by being a Muslim. Like it’s trendy or something. It’s like giving Islam free advertising since rugby is a big deal here like in South Africa, and kids look up to rugby players. Horrible. There’s just not enough humiliation associated with the word ‘Muslim’ when there should be. Imagine if I walked around today, wearing a giant swastika on my t-shirt. No doubt, people would look at you funny and assume bad things about you. But Muslims can walk around in all their Islamic dress, and people aren’t allowed to assume anything about them and their character.

And yes, I have decided that I will not do business with Muslims in any way. I don’t want to inadvertently fund any kind of dawah or anything else which helps the Muslim community to spread their terrible ideas.

I used to wonder when I was kid, what kind of threats NZ might face in future. I never imagined it would be anything like Islam, a ‘religion’ of all things that wants us to act like savages from another century. Islam must be Satan’s biggest achievement to date. The worst of all human behaviour- glorified and rewarded.

I lived in your lovely country for a time but our stay was cut short when it became apparent that the world Marxist organisations including the World Council of Churches, the Commonwealth lead by Britain and the rampant global anti-apartheid activists were campaigning to throw South Africa to the wolves. The level of collective hatred that RSA experienced during this time was something not seen before by any country in peacetime. This disguised the real reason behind the attack which had nothing to do with the policy of apartheid that operated in South Africa at the time. Far worse race crimes were being perpetrated in India for example but the focus was only on the white government in southern Africa. There was no policy of apartheid in Rhodesia but this country was attacked on three borders by Soviet armed ANC thugs lead by the terrorist Nelson Mandela. If the world anti-apartheid agents were concerned about this policy they would be campaigning against the black racist government in Pretoria and the apartheid policies being used against white South Africans but, having achieved what they set out to do, their attention is now directed at Israel and the same anti-apartheid slurs are being used here to whip up world opinion once more.

Do you mean the 1981 Springbok Tour also? My feeling was that the activists themselves thought they were doing the right thing, rather than to be spiteful toward South Africa. That was the feeling I got from one man, that I did know of who was one of these activists, and he was very passionate about the apartheid cause. He didn’t have any bad feelings about South Africans, that I gathered.

A trainee teachers writes up about his experience of the cultural indoctrination in NZ
“Education has always been the battlefield on which culture wars are fought, and if we are to avoid a future of cultural separatism in this country [world], it is imperative that we end the systematic indoctrination of teachers and students…..”

“A disturbing feature of cultural-ism in education is that it breaks down the essential distinction between local knowledge, acquired at home, and disciplinary knowledge, acquired at school.

Disciplinary knowledge is based on objective truth and universal principles. It broadens the mind by taking students beyond themselves and beyond their immediate environment.

The culturalist approach of making ethnicity relevant to classroom learning undermines disciplinary knowledge and cuts students off from the international community.” though I fear the international community is going to the lowest common denominator too.

Where a teacher trainee, the only one of his year, had issues/objections with his educators, so get the full context the link is, even though it is a different topic, the principle is the same. Just a mild change makes it not bi-cultural but multi-multural, with all sensibilities to other religions and societal cultural issues.
    http://treatygate.wordpress.com/

Though it is a different issue, sometimes it is good to see an amazing parallel, to take time and see the reflection in a different topic.
Though not exact, one can possibly see what is happening and perhaps with a fresh frame find new understanding so lead to new approaches, and actions.

Also it runs much more than just teachers, but goes deeply through government departments such as health, corrections [judiciary] media etc.
A faithfulessness to its own peoples as it runs through all our institutions, and is going through so many countries.

I have over the years wondered why I did not agree or seemed to be so obtuse to others, but finally using computers, the education from many other blogs and finding kindred spirits, plus the thoughtful expressions and debates; for me has lifted the fog, to be much more sure of myself and taking on and explaining to others, if only leaving them a “sound byte” to think on.

The Wellington (NZ) daily the Dominion Post carried an article a few moths back.
      Here’s the link:
      http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/9196570/Diversity-drives-learning-at-Te-Aro-School
I wrote a critical letter at this nonsense and the text is here:

“I fully support your correspondent Peter South (letters 26 September) and his criticism of Te Aro School’s approach to immigrant children.
At a time when multiculturalism is being roundly condemned in Western Europe, our educators keep right on with their self appointed role as social engineers. The only logical end point of any immigration is assimilation, not the formation of Diasporas. Adding to that, the negation of the host community’s culture by eschewing Easter and Christmas, just adds to the calumny. Why does the Left always some to the argument with the stance that the host culture is basically worthless and should be put to one side at will?
An interesting detail is that some immigrant parents have expressed misgivings about overly matey relations between students and teachers. Surely the Ethnic Sensitivity Commissar at Te Aro would have ensured that those misgivings were respected. But no, the concerned parents were told basically to ‘suck it up because that’s the way we do it around here’.
This is not cultural sensitivity but teacher self importance”.

To my surprise it was printed – most criticism isn’t printed if it involves Islam or multiculti.

This is immensely depressing. When I was at Auckland uni a few years ago, I did notice large numbers of muslims, but believed that these were mainly people paying to study here who would then go home, perhaps with broader views of the world.

We need a much tougher immigration policy that does not allow people in who don’t want to live with gender equality and the gay rights we have here.

I’m certainly one previous ‘leftie’ who became aware of the islam problem some years ago, but my friends still believe ‘she’ll be right’ and ‘we’re safe here’. Evidently not. And now National is opening the doors wider and allowing more non-state, religion-based schools. This isn’t just a left/right issue.

I know what you mean. NZ is a friendly sort of country. The reason why Kiwis tend to go overseas is to ‘broaden our views of the world.’ The great OE etc. That’s very Kiwi isn’t it. But Islam…this is a different matter where we can’t apply our own cultural values and mindset to theirs. How do you be a ‘good’ Muslim without following Islamic principles (which just so happen to be terrible)? I imagine that many of those wanting to study here, will also want to apply for residency after a few years of being here. This place is becoming more Muslim friendly as time passes. Their men are terrible here as elsewhere in my observations. Perverted types, even the ‘religious’ ones gathering outside their mosque don’t hold back. Never walked past a church before and seen Christian men acting like that. Have you read what has been happening in Sweden with rape yet? Pat Condell- He’s quite funny while talking about a serious topic-“Sweden – Ship of Fools” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZsvdg1dkJ4

In summary, NZ is not safe from this problem. Please try to educate everyone that you know. Use the Islamic religious texts and real life examples which show Muslims following their ‘religious’ teachings to the letter. Use statistics to support your argument where possible. People will listen to you if you’re well reasoned. And there are so many excuses that Islam apologists have which people need to be aware of so that they can counter them appropriately.
