Jihad Watch

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

The flag of Palestine, 1939

Nov 15, 2014 4:24 pm By Robert Spencer

Larousse-French-dictionary-from-1939-Palestine-is-Jewish-700x357This 1939 flag of Palestine shows that it was recognized as a Jewish entity even then, and that the name “Palestine” historically referred to a region (so named by the Romans after they expelled the Jews in 134AD, using the name of the Philistines, the Israelites’ Biblical enemies), not to a people.

There was no Palestinian nationality before the 1960s, when it was invented in order to reposition what was then universally known as the Arab/Israeli conflict. Up to the invention of “Palestinians,” the Israelis were the tiny, besieged people amidst a huge number of hostile Arabs; after that invention, the “Palestinians” themselves became the tiny, besieged people against the big, bad Israelis. PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein said this in 1977:

The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.

The Israelis were mistaken ever to play along with this charade.

“1939 Palestinian Flag. What does it look like? Surprised?,” Factual Israel, November 14, 2014 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

This a Larousse French dictionary from 1939. In the appendix it lists all the then current flags of the world in alphabetical order. You’ll notice that for Germany at that time the flag was the Nazi one replete with Zwastika which proves that this was pre-1945 ( before 1945) ! .

Now, alphabetically, look for the Palestinian Flag. YES , there is one. What does it look like? Surprised? Oh, but you thought (Mandate Jewish) Palestine was an Islamic Arab-,Turkish-, Circassian Sovereign State that the bad Jews took over , right?

Confused?

From 1920-1948 a ( class ‘A’ Mandate) State of Palestine existed as per international law but it was, as all of its major institutions, Jewish. Until the 1960s, name “Palestine” resonated as something Jewish to European ears; the Muslims rejecting the name saying it didn’t belong. The 4,000 year old Jewish homeland or “Land of Israel” or the “Holy Land” were all synonymous!!

The British as legal Mandatory over the Mandate managed or mismanaged the state partially with Jewish Auxilary until Jews regained official sovereignty in 1948, by declaring independence.

The U.N. did not recreate Israel as some people claim.

May it always remain Jewish, my friend. Actually, I would prefer that the so-called West Bank, Gaza, the Golan Heights and perhaps even all the Sinai were part of a greater Israel. In fact, who could informedly and wisely argue that the present situation is preferable to the greater Israel I just mentioned?

I mean, if you’re going to be hated and obliteration is wished for both your state and your people, no matter what you do, why not take over as much real estate as possible, with appropriate expulsion of haters who start wars against you complementing any such expansion? One of the greater ironies of our time is that Israelis have been charged by huge numbers of people with being too harsh, while the reality is that the Israelis have arguably been too damn kind to those who wish them annihilation.

You know, I don’t think for a minute you have to be Jewish to be a Zionist. Being a Zionist to me means full support for the existence of Israel plus other things like welcoming the revival of Hebrew as a living language. I am not Jewish but I am a Zionist. And so I will close, epistemology, as I often do with a good Israeli friend of mine by saying that as ever I remain

      Zionistically and non-Islamically yours,

Thank you Wellington, that’s superbly said. You’re absolutely right. I’ve got a lot of Zionist friends who aren’t Jewish and share your point of view.

I fully agree about your idea about the Golan Heights (have been annexed already) and Judea and Samaria (what they call the West bank). But forget about Gaza, that’s a blooming cesspool, Arik Sharon was right to give it to the palis, there are to many of them and they keep multiplying.

As for the Sinai, it’s the most beautiful landscape I’ve ever seen, but the Bedouins living there used to be savages when I met them in 1981 (the Sinai was part of Israel then). But now they’re not only primitive morons but terrorists as well. Even CNN admits that they’re criminals to the core raping female refugees, extorting ransom and using captives as organ banks. They take all the interesting organs out, leaving their victims as disembowelled waste.

So you can forget about these parts for Israel, but all of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria that’s Zion. Thanks a lot for your support my friend. G’d bless you. You’re a splendid guy.

I am not Jewish nor a Zionist. I am a Western intellectual born in Europe and considering Ancient Greece my intellectual and even spiritual cradle – if I may say so as an atheist. At the same time, facing the barbarism of Islam, I am a Christian as well, and am saying with Pamela: “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel.”

The West is completely delusional about Middle Eastern cultures and do the most idiotic decisions that is pulling safety from under our feet. Therefore, they should be banned from meddling in the conflicts of the Middle East. Some people suggest that the biggest traitors of our governments should be charged with treason and hanged, for opening doors to Muslim immigration. What safety is there for children in the future with these barbarians? None.

When the Muslims began invading Israel for the sake of Jihad, – initially by sudden illegal mass immigration to infiltrate the area – the Saudis got cornered and got stopped in the West Bank as the Jewish settlers fought back. The Egyptians got no further than Gaza. And that is where they have remained to this day. They can all go back to their homelands and should be fully driven out of the occupied regions.

The plain fact that the Muslims are the real invaders and occupiers can be found in the British archives where many statements profess that the region was barren and invaded by the Arab in Saudi demand for a caliphate. They would show up in flash mobs of 10,000; 30,000 and within months 100,000 of them had forced their presence in the area. Even Winston Churchill testified to this. And as always with jihad since the aim is to force their presence to occupy a place, they brought family and children (look what Isis is doing in Syria and Iraq) to their war zone.

Thus, “Palestinians” have no right whatsoever to remain in the area and are illegals. They should be removed completely. Its a pity that Israel was divided into Israel/Jordan. All of Jordan should have remained within Israel’s boundaries as it initially intended with the Balfour declaration 1917. Its only due to aggressive Muslim flash mobs that the British decided to create Jordan, hoping that this would prevent the Muslims from creating another war.

        >>Moroccan flag looks like an error.

        Not necessarily.

When I last hiked across Morocco, there were a great number of abandoned Jewish towns and cemeteries. The Jews were obviously very influential in Morocco at this time. See Operation Yachin – the exodus of the Moroccan Jews.
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Yachin

This is not unlike the situation in Iraq, which was substantially Jewish until 1947. But when Israel was founded, all of the Iraqi Jews were exiled from Iraq in a mass expulsion.
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_Iraq#The_great_emigration_to_Israel

The last Exilarch (or king) of Jewish Iraq was Naim Dangoor. He still has a claim for some $20 billion against Iraq, for his lost assets when he was driven out of the country.
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naim_Dangoor

This is how Islam has always lived. This is how Isis lives in modern Syria and Iraq. Islam is nothing but a Giant Protection Racket, masquerading as a religion. It attacks and subjugates other towns, cities and nations through sheer terror, and then sucks the entire region dry.

Islam is never productive. It is a parasite that lives off the backs of productive peoples, like the Jews, Syriac Christians and Sabaeans. But because of its aggressive but fatalistic ethos (life is just a sport), the regions it controls always descend into decay and ruin. You can only persecute your dhimmi serf (unbeliever) population so much, before they all die or run away.

This is what Islam did to Syria, which was once the richest part of the Romo-Byzantine Empire. Islam took over the region and sucked it dry, leaving some 800 towns and cities abandoned to the wind-blown dust. Yes, that is 800 abandoned towns just around the Aleppo region alone.
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Cities

This is what Islam does to entire nations – it sucks them dry. But please do beware, this is what Islam will do to Europe too.

Fact: Jews make up just 0.5% of the global population and yet they account for 23% of the Nobel Prizes in Science.

Fact: Muslims make up fully 23% of the global population and yet they somehow only account for 0.5% of the Nobel Prizes in Science.

The numbers don’t lie. Muslims are indeed parasites and a cancer on the global community, while Jews are productive members of the global community.

Robert Spencer’s post titled “Woman proclaiming Christ . . .” currently ( 5:14 pm ET Saturday ) has gotten well more than eighteen thousand views & almost 300 comments.

Let us estimate 15-20% of the views are from CAIR and its boyfriends — curious to see just how hugely they screwed up with conceiving the event ( no matter who is “officially” named ).

That still leaves roughly 15,000 followers and friends of Jihad Watch. Worth considering to be one victory over the pathology of Muhammad’s life and legacy, as weekend gives us time for prayer and reflection.

La! Bandoukh!!Infidel!! Of course Musulmans invented quantum mechanics!!! They invent everything! Who has not heard of Hassan Beg’s Uncertainty Principle? This is just nature playing taqqiyah – all in accord with the Holy Qur’an! Just like the sun sinking into muddy pool of water each night (Sura 18: 83 -91). This is proved by musulman signteests!

Seriously, how can anyone take Youssef Mroueh’s illiterate islamosupremacism seriously? Just read the witless fabricator’s “work” – it would embarrass a primary school student to be that incompetent. And people wonder why no muslim majority nation has a world-class university in the Top 200 list? Cristobal Colon’s writing in his Journals is in very easily understood Latin – even I can read it, and it’s been a while since high school. He was describing the shape of landforms, for heaven’s sake! If he had found a real mosque he would have trumpeted it to the heavens – as it would have buttressed his claims that the islands he had discovered actually were the Indies, despite the scoffing he received for his claims at the Spanish Court. But whatever Erdogan really believes, there is a base purpose behind this – it’s an attempt to validate Islam’s claim that the Americas are really part of the muslim patrimony.

It’s the Dar-al-Islam argument. By convincing 2 billion Muslims around the world that a country was discovered by them, it automatically becomes legal for jihad and land grabbing. That’s the aim of such statement. Erdogan is actually indirectly calling for jihad on America.
The same whenever a mosque is established in any country. It then becomes earmarked for takeover and is now considered legally “theirs”.

This is a common belief among Muslims.
While working in Algeria many moons ago, I was regularly told by my Muslims trainees that the Arabs discovered the Americas.
Mustapha Columbus and his entire crew were Muslims from Al-Anderlus and that Allah had guided them there.
They were in no doubt that the Americas were Muslim lands taken from them by “invaders”.

This last part of this excellent reminder-article should be emphasized:

“The British as legal Mandatory over the Mandate managed or mismanaged the state partially with Jewish Auxilary until Jews regained official sovereignty in 1948, by declaring independence.

The U.N. did not recreate Israel as some people claim.”

The end of British Colonialism after WWII is an interesting social study, among all the other facets. They were physically and financially ruined. Food rationing lasted, I think, until several years later.

    A personal opinion:
So, it irks me that the duplicity of the Brits [Perfidious Albion] in the Arab/Jewish Question seems to be continually whisked aside, hoping no one’ll notice. It should be closely studied. I.E. Oil, and all that.

Now, with the renewed mention here and there of the Sykes-Picot Agreement, and the Balfour folks viewing “with favour” the establishment of the Mandate, more people should look in that direction rather than in the current testy bickering over America’s late involvement centered around Saddam’s designs on Saudi Arabia and his invasion of Kuwait. A different and nasty situation quite aside from the historical involvement of the Brits and the French in that arena.

Again, “The U.N. did not recreate Israel as some people claim.” And with all of the obvious reams and tons of historical knowledge filed away in London and Paris, it is puzzling why we Americans are now the ones being faulted from time to time for our modern interventions in that complicated arena, as if all of this contemporary complication is America’s fault…..stepping in to save Kuwait and Saudia Arabia itself from Saddam’s invader-arms, and the oil supply lines being kept open.

The Jewish presence in the land of Israel (and Judea and Samaria) has been continual for thousands of years. That is fact and history. It cannot be disputed. To challenge this would be like saying…

The Hungarians Bombed Pearl Harbor on the Island of Catalina in the British Held Hawaiian Islands on February 32nd, 1949 that Started World War Three. The Neutral Powers of Switzerland, Peru and Sweden won the war when it dropped a Plasmoidium Bomb From the Planet Krypton on the European City of Buenos Aires on the Continent of New Zealand. The War’s End Came With The Signing Of The Treaty of Howdy-Doody, and Peace Was Declared By Her Majesty The Transgendered Empress Grace of The Empire Of Monaco-On-The-Hudson.

The above statement is NOT history. Neither is the statement that Jews took “Palestine” away from Arab Muslims.

And as an American Indian; I am so sick of the muzz-maggot line that muzzies discovered America and are the Indigenous people of America… and that Mosques were all over the Americas by the time Columbus arrived… by the time the Vikings arrived… AND by the time the American Indians arrived.

The Muzz-crap are also saying they are the Indigenous people of Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere and that the Indigenous peoples whether they are American Indians, Metis, Inuit, Native Hawaiians, Maori, Chamorro, Aboriginals, First Nations… WHOMEVER are all apparently Muslims.

Well, as an American Indian of multiple tribal affiliations from tribes that are both federally and state recognized and who also has a Canadian Native blood-line of status and non-status people…

At no point have I ever heard stories or knowledge passed down through the generations… that mentioned American Indians named Mohammed, Fatima or Akbar.

Arjay, I have watched a documentary about an eastern tribe of native Americans that suspected they have Jewish DNA. It was inconclusive and even if it were true there would be no consequences such as compulsory Synagogues on the reservation. Besides all that the Anasazi predate pisslam by thousands of years.

      • Arjay says

        Nov 16, 2014 at 5:07 am

Yes, I have heard of one or two tribes believing they might be Jewish; one is also in the Midwest. Then of course there is the Latter-Day Saints belief system that we are also Jewish. The only fellow Indians I know who are into that are those who themselves are Mormons and are in Utah with a few around the the Four-Corners region.

As for you and @Beagle… FYI the Lemba of Southern Africa have long claimed Jewish heritage and practiced Judaism or some Jewish rituals. Many are now fluent in Hebrew. Well… DNA testing and other historical evidence seems to be backing them up. The larger world Jewry is now interacting with the population more than ever before… and it looks as if down the road they will be accepted as Jews or be given easier access to Conversion classes.

And yes, American Indians predate the founding of muzzie izslime for thousands of years… but when did that stop MoHAMmedans? Keep in mind that any time there is a road repaired of a building goes up or sometimes even planting a tree in Israel… Judaica themed ancient artifacts are unearthed. Only to have the local Muzzpukes try to destroy it because each item proves… Israel-Judea-Samaria was and is JEWISH.

They do the same thing in Saudi Arabia… they are always uncovering PAGAN Arabic-Pre Islam religious items AND Jewish items. People forget that the Arabian Peninsula was inhabited by Pagans AND JEWS before MoHAMmed waged war killing pagan Arabs and the Jews and taking the Jewish women as sex slave hostages.

Archaeologists in different parts of the world are always complaining how Muzz DESTROY archaeological and historic artifacts that indicate that muzz are not the sole people in a region.

In Japan recently… a Saudi Arabian destroyed a historic Buddhist shrine, and of course churches, cathedrals, synagogues and Hindu temples are taken over and made into mosques and then soon are treated as if they have ALWAYS been mosques.

Yes, Pumbar… you are probably right. Just give it time. Sadly, will the media and academia CHALLENGE the lies when Muslims start spouting them? Probably not. Then there will be news segments at the HuffPo or on CNN or MSNBC how poor little American Indians are not learning their “culture” because of self internalized Islamophobia.

        I can see it now…

MSNBC TV host Melissa Harris Perry (her Indian name…. Stupid-Woman-With-Big-Mouth-Spews-Buffalo-Shit) bemoans how neither little Johnny on a rez in the Dakotas… little Maria on a California Mission or Rancheria or little Sally who lives in an urban environment in Tulsa…

are all being denied their culture! Poor Johnny, Maria and Sally!!! The Obama-rama-ding-dong administration arranged for ebola infected Muslims from Sierra Leone and slave trading Boko Haram and Sudanese Muslims to join with Gaza Imans to teach Islam and set up Madrassas in American Indian communities.

After parents objected… the Iman declared the American Indians as apostates for rejecting the “Muslim Heritage” and now the White House wants to replace American Indians with Muslims from Gaza and Iraq and Indonesia.

American INDians and Muslims from INDOnesia… same thing right? Then the camera goes back to “Stupid Woman Perry” with her now in a burqa wearing a head-dress saying that Abenaki, Chickasaw, Sioux, Nez Perce, Kaw and all the other “Indians” had their chance for Islamic redemption and now to make the world a PC paradise once again… American Indians are being replaced by Muslims.

What amazes me more than the claim, the more outlandish the stories are that emanate from our Arab cousins; the Media accept it at face value and report it. If Israel were to make a factual claim with proof in hand, of an extraordinary nature; immediately the Media would have “talk show experts” shooting it down as impossible and the reporting style would be alleged, claimed etc. Whereas claims coming from Gaza or wherever, South America, are accepted at face value.

        • Arjay says

          Nov 16, 2014 at 10:07 am

@Jack Holan… YES! How correct you are. Muzzmaggots will say the most outlandish and OBVIOUSLY FALSE THINGS… and no matter how big the lie it will be taken at face value and accepted as fact.

Any non-muzz and especially an Israeli and/or Jewish person who says something complete with facts to back it up… everyone under the sun will be brought in to challenge said Israeli, Jew or non-Muslim who stands up to Muslims.

Sometimes the media will get a “clue.” For example CBS 60 Minutes finally did an expose on “Pallywood” the continual falsifying of “atrocities against Palestinians by Jews.”

Apparently something “clicked” because when that recent video came up of two Arab Muslim children being shot at and the boy saves the girl… GUESS WHAT THAT WAS FAKED. A leftist European Dhimmi-In-Waiting made the film (yes FILM) in Malta and passed it off as “war coverage” to garner sympathy for muzz.

CBS did not “air it” because it couldn’t authenticate it. And then actually broke the story about it being “fake.” So, maybe, just maybe there is a teeny tiny glimmer of hope for the media.

This is all interesting history that we don’t seem to hear much about.
As we remember the 100th anniversary of WW1 we should remember that it was only as recently as 1917 that Allied forces liberated Jerusalem from the Ottomans. (I understand that it was largely a bloodless affair.) It was only just over 100 years previously that Napoleon had also attempted to liberate Jerusalem from the Ottoman empire. In both instances there was a significant existing Jewish presence in that city.
But looking at the big picture, Jerusalem existed thousands of years before Mohamed was born or Islam was invented.
It has also been suggested that many of the peoples of the area given the name Palestine were in fact Jewish who had been forcibly converted to Islam centuries ago.

Until the Six Day War, the flag of Jordan flew over the West Bank, children studied from Jordanian textbooks, sang the Jordanian anthem and thought they were Jordanian.

The flag of the Pallies is the Jordanian flag minus the star. In other words, virtually the same flag.

    .
The region was Jewish at this time, in the 1920s, because of the Balfour Declaration of 1917. This declaration tacitly acknowledged that the region was now nominally Jewish; and since the region was under British control, the population were now free to choose a Jewish flag.

    Copy of the Balfour Declaration:
    http://www.newjerseysolidarity.org/resources/roots/chapt03img03.gif

To understand why this declaration was written, you have to understand the politics of the era.

Britain was in a quagmire war with Germany – the First World War. Britain wanted American assistance, but America refused. So a bargain was struck with American Jewery – that if Britain gave them nominal control over Palestine / Israel, then the influential Jewish lobby in America would force America to join the war.

Accordingly, immediately after America joined the war in 1917, the Balfour Declaration was drafted the same year, giving the Jews nominal control in Palestine / Israel.

So yes, Palestine/Israel became semi-officially Jewish in 1917.

The ‘1939 Donald White paper’, that reads like a legalistic psychotic episode includes limits on Jewish immigration, trapping millions in Europe to be eaten by Hitlers killing machine…

‘For each of the next five years a quota of 10,000 Jewish immigrants will be allowed on the understanding that a shortage one year may be added to the quotas for subsequent years, within the five year period, if economic absorptive capacity permit’

‘After the period of five years, no further Jewish immigration will be permitted unless the Arabs of Palestine are prepared to acquiesce in it’.

There’s a whole lot more to it than that, but restricted immigration is the result.

I just checked my 1976 Petit Larousse Illustre – it includes a graphic of the flags of 132 nations. There’s Israel, Egypt, and there’s Jordan. I guess the printer must have screwed up or something because, inexplicably, there’s no flag of “Palestine.”

It’s no surprise that Muslims usually want to claim something that was not theirs to begin with. Palestine is just one, but now look at looney Erdogan’s remark about Muslims discovering America another unsubstantiated claim with no basis in reality.

Interesting article. One point, Rome invaded countries, they did not remove the population. They had no interest in ruling a country of empty houses. Some Jews went into diaspora, but many remained. When the Roman Christians followed the Roman pagans, the only people they allowed to share the country were the Jews.

Every newspaper and every club with Palestine in its name was JEWISH back in time.No Arab wanted to be called Palestine. Also the real Palestines where not Arabs and the died all 2000 years ago. Also the translation is INVADERS.So its a good name for muslims…

THOUGH THE JEWISH STATE OF ISRAEL EXISTS

the nonexistent Palestinian people won’t recognize its existence. Though the Palestinian people don’t exist the Jewish State of Israel recognizes its existence. Why don’t Israeli leaders say that ‘We won’t recognize their existence until they recognize ours’?
