Australia: Hostages taken in Sydney chocolate shop, Islamic jihad flag seen

“A man is holding several people hostage at Martin Place cafe,” News.com.au, December 15, 2014 (thanks to Jill):

AT LEAST one armed man is holding several people hostage at a cafe in Martin Place in Sydney.

There are hostages standing with their hands up at the windows in the popular Lindt chocolate shop, which has two or three entrances. There is also a black and white flag being held up in a window. It is believed to be the Black Standard, a jihadist flag.

Staff in shop aprons can be seen with their hands on the windows. There are also reports that there is more than one gunman.

Police officers have guns drawn outside the cafe.

The chocolate shop is 30 or 40 metres from the Channel 7 offices so they have cameras trained on the building. The newsroom at Channel 7 has been evacuated.

There are State Government agencies in the same building and police have shut down traffic in a wide perimeter surrounding the incident.

There is no confirmation yet that this is a terrorist attack….

A siege situation is underway in Sydney’s Martin Place as a gunman holds up a Lindt Chocolate Cafe.

Police have confirmed an operation is underway after officers were called to the shop around 9:45am on Monday.

It’s believed at least 13 hostages are being held in the cafe, where an black flag with white Arabic writing was reportedly brandished across the window.

The faces of customers and workers were pressed up against a shop window of the Lindt Chocolat Cafe.

They had their hands in the air and their eyes closed. And were made to hold up what is believed to be an Islamic State flag….

    • May God protect the infidel women from being raped. We ex-Muslims know that Islamic theology/law permits all manner of crimes against those who refuse to submit to it.

      If the freaks holding folks hostage in the chocolate shop are devout, fully obedient Muslims, they may demand Islamic rule/Sharia law for the entire continent of Australia!

      Anyhow, taking slaves and sex slaves for ransom or usage is fully sanctioned by the Quran.

      Therefore, the Mohammedans that took over the choc shop know they are doing nothing wrong.

      THE QURANIC SANCTION OF SLAVERY

      The institution of slavery in Islam was formalized in the following Quranic verse, in which Allah distinguishes free human beings or masters, who exercise justice and righteousness, from the dumb, useless and burdensome ones, the slaves:

      Quran 16:76 Allah sets forth (another) Parable of two men: one of them dumb, with no power of any sort; a wearisome burden is he to his master; whichever way he directs him, he brings no good: is such a man equal with one who commands Justice, and is on a Straight Way?

      Allah warns the believers against taking the slaves as equal partner in status and in sharing their wealth, lest they have to fear them as anyone else:

      Quran 30:28 …do ye have partners among those whom your right hands possess (i.e., slaves, captives) to share as equals in the wealth We have bestowed on you? Do ye fear them as ye fear each other?

      Allah recognizes some human beings, namely the masters, as more blessed by Himself than the less favored slaves as part of His divine plan. He warns Muslims against sharing His gifts to them equally with their slaves. Those who would take slaves as equal, warns Allah, would deny Him:

      Quran 16:71 Allah has bestowed His gifts of sustenance more freely on some of you than on others: those more favoured are not going to throw back their gifts to those whom their right hands possess, so as to be equal in that respect. Will they then deny the favours of Allah?

      Allah does not only sanction the institution of slavery, He also gave divine blessing to masters (Muslim men only can own slaves) to have sex with the female slaves:

      Quran 70:29–30 And those who guard their private parts, Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess—for these surely are not to be blamed

      Quran 23:5–6 And who guard their private parts, except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable

      Therefore, if there are women amongst the captives or slaves, Muslims are divinely sanctioned to have sex with them as they do with their wives. This verdict of Allah founded the institution of sex-slavery or slave-concubinage in Islam, which was widespread in the pre-colonial Muslim world and continued well into the mid-twentieth century. As far as legal marriage is concerned, there is a limitation of four wives for a man at one time [Quran 4:3], but no such limitation on the number of sex-slaves.

      Allah also gave a divine sanction to Muslims for acquiring female slaves for sexual engagement by waging wars against the infidels:

      Quran 33:50 O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war…

      Muslims can engage in sex with the captured slave women even if they are married, but not with the married free Muslim women:

      Quran 4:24 Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess…

      There are other verses in the Quran that talks approvingly of slaves and capturing them in wars. Thus, according to the divine commands of the Islamic God as enshrined in the holy Quran, Muslims are allowed to keep slaves. They can amass slaves by waging wars, have sex with the female slaves, and of course, use them as they wish. For Muslims, having sex with female slaves is as legal as having sex with their married wives. Slavery appears to be one of the most desired divine privileges in Islam, since Allah took the pain of reminding Muslims about this divine right time and again in so many verses.

  9. When this is over there will be the predictable headline about “potential reprisals against Muslims”, and Muslims will hold yet another protest to protest these potential reprisals.

    Please, anyone reading this, do NOTHING in revenge, ie no pigs heads thrown into mosques or graffiti etc: nothing! For one, revenge is an Islamic concept and we infidels reject it, and two, there is no need because these attacks ARE revenge upon Islam in themselves. We do nothing and Islam will implode much sooner just under its own ideological weight. Reprisals will only hinder this natural process.

      And what do you mean when you say “…. Islam will implode much sooner just under its own ideological weight”? It didn’t implode in the last 1400 years. Why would it implode now?

      • The answer to this question would take up a few pages. But in brief, Muslims I think are waking up to what Islam really teaches. Nabeel Queshi’s recent book is a good example. Their stories all unfold the same way: they are taught to revere the Koran, but have not read it with any understanding or analysis (which western universities use, and which is something new for Islam). They view terror attacks as “against Islam” … until they actually read and analyse the Koran. There can only be 3 responses: 1. Denial and taqqiya, 2. Join ISIS or similar, 3. Apostasy. I believe there are thousands of people apostatizing, at least in secret. It is only their families and communities that hold them back.

        • I’m sorry, but the idea—frequently expressed—that most Muslims have no idea what their creed demands simply does not hold water. There are plenty of pious Muslims like this Jihadist who know *exactly* what Islam is all about.

          And there is a large percentage of Muslims even in the West who want to see brutal Shari’ah law imposed here. There may well be a few Muslims genuinely ignorant of the texts and tenets of their own faith, but they appear to be very much in the minority.

  14. I have a brother that works near there. He says everyone is afraid, evacuations are on going and the city is in chaos. I had plans to go out with the girlfriend to the city today. Shes too terrified to leave the house.
    Welcome to the modern world Australia, I hope that these innocent people come out of this alive. At the very least this should hopefully galvanise public opinion here against these savage animals.

        I sent a bunch of tweets to the local news networks correcting their misinformation about the Shahada, the black flag of Jihad and so on. It was kind of refreshing to watch them verify the information and update it accordingly. Nine News is calling it what it is now.

    • The news crews are being pushed back from the area now. Likelihood of imminent police action. There have been rumblings of the SAS being deployed however that’s not confirmed.
      Busy dealing with a bunch of sad traitor lefties blaming this on “racism” and “corrupt politicians” instead of condemning the actions of the terrorist. That makes me even more sick than the Media’s white washing.

  23. I am an Aussie. The local media is reporting that a man has been handcuffed about 200 metres from the site of the siege. There are further reports that he had a handgun.

    It has just been confirmed a man was arrested but it had nothing to do with the siege.

  24. Local media is reporting that the man at the centre of siege has contacted them and has claimed that he has “four devices” planted around the city.

    This has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.

    • I’m under the impression that the authorities are taking it seriously, but it is probably a bargaining tactic to force co operation. What concerns me more is that big, heavy vest he is wearing.

Thank your political leaders for disarming you, allowing Muslims (who become terrorists when they believe that they are strong enough) to enter your country, and then continue to intimidate them and destroy your way of life. Get a Koran and read chapters 8 and 9. Then you will begin to have an idea about what the world has been dealing with since early seventh century. Follow up with a good history book and newspaper (if available), and then they will get the big picture.

  29. Slightly OT: I’m concerned about the terrorists getting access to outside security measures. It is my understanding the authorities evacuated the television station for this very reason.

    No doubt the scumbag(s) are aware they have garnered international attention. Not too cool given the gravity of the situation.

  30. I would suggest that what we witness today is just the tip of the iceberg of a series of attacks planned in the Western world specifically around Christmas. The security services are probably heroically stopping most of the attempts, while our news media and government leaders reassure us that nothing is happening.

    The term terrorist/ terrorism/ militant are secular words for suggests the creation of fear for any non-religious reason including political gain.       Actually, there is at least one case: in the beheading at the Vaughn’s warehouse in Oklahoma, the Jihadist was shot by the site’s manager, who had a concealed firearm permit.

      While he did not arrive in time to save the first victim, he *did* save her coworker, whom the Jihadist was attacking when the manager came on the scene.
