Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

French prosecutor: Muslim driver who hit pedestrians screamed “Allahu akbar” “to give himself courage to act, and not out of religious belief”

Dec 23, 2014 1:07 pm By Robert Spencer

Dijon hit and run jihad“Tarrare described the man as a French-born son of North African immigrants, acted alone and had no religious motivations, but was upset at the treatment of Chechen children.” Let’s see. Why is a Muslim from North Africa, living in France, concerned about Chechen children? He is not Chechen. He does not live in Chechnya. If his motivation was humanitarian and political, why didn’t he protest peacefully at the Russian embassy? Why did he think driving into a crowd of pedestrians in France, while screaming “Allahu akbar,” was a good way to protest in a political, non-religious way against the alleged mistreatment of Chechen children? What do French pedestrians have to do with how Chechen children are treated? The only way to make sense of this is to understand that the driver thought of both French pedestrians and those who are allegedly mistreating Chechen children as Infidels, so a strike at one was tantamount to a strike on the other. But that would be to acknowledge that the attack was indeed religiously motivated, and that is clearly a fact that Marie-Christine Tarrare is determined to ignore and deny.

And anyway, don’t non-Muslims routinely scream “Allahu akbar” to give themselves courage, and not out of religious belief?

“Second France car attack on pedestrians in as many days injures 10,” FoxNews.com, December 23, 2014 (thanks to Jesse):

French officials urged calm late Monday after a second attack involving a car hitting pedestrians in as many days injured 10 people in the western town of Nantes.

Authorities said a driver crashed his van into a crowded Christmas market before stabbing himself several times. He is among five people hospitalized in serious condition. Local prosecutor Brigitte Lamy said the incident was an isolated incident and “not a terrorist act”, though police investigations were continuing late Monday.

Lamy said the driver was a 37-year-old man born in the western French city of Saintes, about 150 miles south of Nantes. Images on French television showed a white Peugeot van in the market at the city’s main square, surrounded by police and rescue workers.

In Nantes, bystanders ran toward the attacker as he was stabbing himself, said Mohammed Bader Ghegate, one of the witnesses who ended up at the man’s side. Contrary to media reports, Ghegate said the attacker did not say `God is great’ in Arabic.

“I said that to myself: `Allahu Akbar, help us so there is no bloodshed,”‘ Ghegate told The Associated Press.

On Tuesday, the Christmas market was shuttered, and vendors milling around wore white armbands in solidarity.

The Nantes attack came one day after another driver ran down 13 bystanders in the eastern city of Dijon, and two days after Bertrand Nzohabonayo, a 20-year-old recent convert to Islam, knifed two police officers outside the city of Tours before being killed by police.

In a signal of how serious the government was taking the attacks, Prime Minister Manuel Valls issued a statement late Monday calling for calm and vigilance.

The series of attacks, he said, “concerns us all.”

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve headed to Nantes Monday evening after spending the day in Dijon.

Prosecutor Marie-Christine Tarrare said the driver behind Sunday’s attack in that city has a long history of severe mental illness and no links to terrorism. She added that the 40-year-old was taken into custody and has admitted his role in the attack. Tarrare described the man as a French-born son of North African immigrants, acted alone and had no religious motivations, but was upset at the treatment of Chechen children.

He shouted ‘God is great’ to give himself courage to act, and not out of religious belief, Tarrare said….

Remember folks Islam is a religion of peace!

One word describes this lawyer…”CLUELESS”. He’s totally clueless about Islam and clueless about current events. Defending his client does not exclude his duty to be truthful about it. He’s pretending that he doesn’t understand what’s going on in the world.

The new caliphate has ordered Muslims in kafir countries to fight using cars, guns, knives and stones.

This North African warrior is obeying the caliphate!

This guy, like 95% of all muslims, couldn’t find chechenia on a map.

Maybe he was angry because chechen children are not allowed to be raped at the age of 9(that’s what awaits them if islam rules there)
Maybe he is angry that islam terrorists have been exterminated and no more chechen children are torn apart by muslim bombs.
Maybe he is angry that a non-muslim chechenia couldn’t produce muslim extremist children and sent them to western countries like the boston bombers.
Maybe he is angry that chechen children don’t suffer and starve like children in most muslims countries do after those were turned into pisspoor shitholes by islam.

And maybe, just maybe,Islam does not really exist and insane people simply like to scream Allahu Aghbar when commiting crimes.

Perhaps a better slogan would be: “Trust nothing and nobody” so we can all live in a world of paranoia. To give ourselves courage we can shout, “Cowabunga!” Nothing has anything to do with anything anyway. Merry Christmas ….. peace and goodwill to those who believe in that sort of stuff.

      • Paul says

        Dec 23, 2014 at 2:31 pm

You betray your pigeonholemindedness with your churlish retort.

Let’s see, now. According to you, to prevent “a world of paranoia” we must choose one of two statements. Either…

        (1) Believe in “God”, or
        (2) “Trust nothing and nobody”.

Now the Israelites’ god must be limited by an immutable law, assuming its existence for just a moment. Supposedly it exists necessarily, and this is a way of saying that there’s an impersonal law of necessary being which places unbreakable chains and shackles upon its will. In fact, the law has a corollary, too, given the most popular definitions of “God”: The omnipotent “God” can’t replicate itself. Still no word in Torah, however, about the immutable law or the unbreakable shackles and chains upon its will. Not too difficult to figure out why.

Of course, we don’t have as a permanent premise the assumption that “God” exists. We just pretend to believe in the god for moment for the sake of argument. So it would seem that our argument above provides an example of another objective, godless truth in which we can trust and at which savages like you can sneer “Cowabunga!”.

There are other ways to demonstrate that there are objective regularities of existence which no being could alter, and they don’t require belief in “God”. For example, there are good arguments to show that an omniscient god couldn’t think, as could not an unchanging god. It can be shown that an omniscient god could never know all the prime numbers nor make a complete list of them. It can be shown that if there were nothing, there’d be no law to prevent the being of something. It can be shown that if, say, matter and thought arose spontaneously, it would still be impossible for “God” to exist. After all, “God” is not defined as a being which arose spontaneously. Oh no.

But never you mind these details, CES. Keep calm, and sneer on, like courageous little theistic swine do when trampling down pearls with their projection alerts.

I don’t know how you deduce from my remarks that I am a savage, although I would admit that I could be if I were ever to let myself go and give into some of my most basic instincts. But I have managed to hold myself under control by believing that what I do matters. If you and I are here by random chance, then whatever we do does not matter. I could kill you or you could kill me and so what? The so what in such a case is …. nothing. So we came from nothing and we will soon enough be nothing again. I don’t know about you but I can’t wrap my mind around that. My mind chooses to believe that we are more than just nothing and that there is more to me than just a material body. I believe I also have a soul and that is the part of me that will live after my body is gone. I think there is more to the universe than what I can ever imagine. So I believe in a God … but my God does not instruct me to destroy anyone or anything in this universe …. unlike the god of some others You can call me names and lump me indiscriminately in a pile with those people who believe differently but ….my beliefs support a way of thinking that makes it possible for you to have your beliefs. Does that make me the one who is a savage?

        Hi Paul,

I don’t understand the connection between driving into pedestrians and the US motto. Are you saying that atheism calls for the destruction of all who believe? Are you threatening to kill your fellow American citizens because of their religious beliefs? Do you support people who do? Does the motto “In God we trust” push you into a killing frenzy? Do you know other atheists who want to kill innocent citizens in the name of atheism?

Yes Miriam, It will no matter how bad the crime or act of terror is ALL Western leaders and most journalists will continue to apologise for, bow down to and generally appease Islam. They have been doing so since 9-11. Why?

In a mildly humorous incident here in Australia, a pub in outback Queensland put a notice on their blackboard menu that went something like this; “2000 years ago water was turned into wine, this Christmas we turn money into beer. (Sorry no Muslims)” It went viral on Facebook as a bit of a Joke but the media and politicians are now in full damage control about Islamophobia in Australia. Even though we had a serious Islamic terror attack here in Sydney just on a week ago the whole establishment is still in complete denial about Islam.

I’m just dumbfounded by this continual deceit and denial. He didn’t say “Allahu Akbar” out of religious belief but because he wanted courage to act? What does that even mean? A religious mantra just gave him courage but isn’t a statement of supremacy this time? Like it supposedly is every single other time an atrocity is committed? And what constitutes a terrorist attack anymore? It seems I’ve been confusing terrorism and mental illness all my life. Glad I know better now. All these attacks all over the world are just a sign of mental illness. Can someone develop a pill in that case? I’m happy many infidels don’t seem prepared to believe this claptrap anymore and the sooner we all realise Islam is at war with us, the sooner something can be done about it.

I’ve done some clinical scientific research into this urgent matter. My preliminary findings indicate that a secret band of Islamophobes sneak into public toilets frequented by Moslems and daub the seats with insanity juice. These insane Moslems are in a very real sense victims… of Islamophobia. And probably racism, too.

Islam creates psychotic episodes in believers. It is it’s own form of mental illness called Allahphrenia. So it’s true that mentally ill people are committing these acts of psychotic behavior. There is something about shahada that causes people to go over the edge and become Allahphiliacs capable of most any depravity. Only death, or long term confinement, heavy drugs, or all three have any hope of curing it.
