Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

84% of “Palestinians” believe Israel was behind Paris jihad massacres

Jan 25, 2015 7:01 pm By Robert Spencer

charlie-hebdo-officesIslamic supremacists never, ever take responsibility for the evils done by Muslims in the name of Islam and in accord with Islamic texts and teachings. It is always the non-Muslim’s fault.

“Israel was behind terror attacks in France,” by Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, January 25, 2015:

Following the terror attacks against the Charlie Hebdo magazine and a Jewish store in which Muslim terrorists killed 17 people in France earlier this month, columnists writing for the official Palestinian Authority daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida have claimed that Israel was behind the attacks.

This view is shared by the vast majority of Palestinians, according to a poll conducted by Ma’an (an independent Palestinian news agency). The poll  found that 84.4% support the claim that “the operation (i.e., terror attack) was suspicious, and that Israel may be behind it,” while “only 8.7% believed that the murder of the French [citizens] in Paris was a natural result of the spread of Islamic extremism in Europe.” [Ma’an, Jan. 19, 2015]

The writers of the official PA daily have argued that Mossad, the Israeli Secret Intelligence Service, planned the attacks because Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders want to encourage Jewish immigration and take “revenge on European governments… because of their… support for… an independent Palestinian state.” [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 15, 2015] (Longer excerpts of all quoted articles appear below)

One regular columnist, Muwaffaq Matar, argued that because Netanyahu “wishes to realize the myth of the ‘Jewishness of Israel'” and encourage immigration, the attacks against Jews in France and elsewhere in Europe were “no coincidence, but a carefully executed and fully controlled plan.” He further argued that these claims were true because “‘Netanyahu’s Jewish State’ was the only one to benefit” from these attacks. [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 15, 2015]

Netanyahu “trades with the blood of the 17 victims of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper and of the supermarket,” wrote another regular columnist, Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul. He pointed out that Netanyahu wanted to “exploit the terrorism that struck some French Jews” to encourage them “to immigrate to Israel.” The writer claimed that “Turkish sources, including intelligence and the mayor of Ankara” determined that the attacks were “planned by the Israeli Mossad.” [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 14, 2015]

Similarly, a journalist, Akram Atallah, interviewed on official PA TV claimed that “in the past, the Israeli Mossad carried out operations (i.e., terror attacks): It bombed synagogues in order to force the Jews to emigrate,” and that “the operation (i.e., the terror attack on Charlie Hebdo) served Israel’s demographic [interests], for the Israeli media and government bodies predicted yesterday that 10,000 French Jews would immigrate to Israel.” [Official PA TV, Jan. 12, 2015]

Another writer, Yahya Rabah, claimed that Israel is behind “all the terrorist groups in the region,” trains them and provides them with weapons, and hinted that Israel, therefore, was behind the attacks in France:

“We have seen how Israeli terrorism in all its forms… is what grants patronage to all the terrorist groups in the region. Eventually, we have seen that terror[ists] have begun to receive training, weapons and perhaps [even] intelligence from Israel. Therefore, many believe that there was more to the last wave of terrorism in France than [just] two young Muslims. This was an [attempt to] target the role of France… [which voted] in favor of the Palestinian-Arab proposal at the [UN] Security Council last month!” [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 11, 2015]…

This type of thinking is similar to the Germans who thought that Hitler could do no wrong. When the Germans heard of atrocities committed by the Nazis they would say “Oh , Adolf doesn’t know about that, it is just the brownshirts getting carried away with energy”.

A more precise analogy would be the Germans saying that the Jews orchestrated the Kristallnacht to make the nazis look bad.

    This is just plain stupid.
On the one hand, they celebrate the attacks and give martyr status to the perpetrators.
On the other hand, they blame the Jews and claim victim status.
There’s an Islamic doctrine, which name I forget, but which I’ll paraphrase as “seeing with two eyes”; that is, the ability to maintain a contradiction in one’s mind, accepting two opposite propositions as true.
Is 84% of the Palestinian population really insane?

    Poll says “Yes”.

      ===================
Exactly. If this is all Israel’s doing why then are so many Muslims celebrating and saying that the Jihadists who did this are martyrs?
Are they cooperating with Israel now?
Were the terrorists Muslim or Jewish? What are they really saying?
These idiots don’t even know how ridiculous they sound.

Yes—the first time I ran into this Muslim doublethink was right after 9/11. A journalist—from CNN—I believe, was interviewing a group of men and boys in either Indonesia or Malaysia. One man was saying that 9/11 could not have been committed by Muslims, because it was un-Islamic. All the men and boys were vigorously nodding their heads and loudly agreeing.

Pretty boiler-plate—I have seen this so often since that it is very much a cliché.

But here’s the rub—one of the boys was wearing one of those hideous t-shirts with an image of bin Laden looming over the Twin Towers on fire. Clearly, he not only believed that 9/11 was a Muslim plot, he obviously approved of it.

The journalist did not openly make note of this cognitive dissonance, nor did any in the group. I noticed it, though, and found it astonishingly bizarre.

I still find it bizarre—I just have seen so much of this Muslim cognitive dissonance that I no longer find it astonishing.

Muslims have no trouble both regarding a terror attack as a great victory by the Mujahideen *and* an operation pulled off by Mossad or the CIA determined to “make Islam look bad”.

  9. PAthena says

Note that the Arabs miscalled “Palestinian” don’t even know the origin of the terms “Palestine” and “Palestinian.” They meant “land of the Jews” and “Jew” from the time that the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 135 A.D., after having defeated the last Jewish rebellion under Bar Kochba, changed the name of Judea to “Palestina” to eradicate all memory of Judea and the Jews. He outlawed Judaism and renamed Jerusalem “Aelia Capitolina,” “Aelius” being his gens name. So “Palestine” became synonymous with “land of the Jews” and “Palestinian” with “Jew.” That is why, after World War I, Great Britain was awarded the “Palestine Mandate” to be the “homeland of the Jews.”
Calling Arabs “Palestinian” is a consequence of Soviet propaganda. In Cairo in 1964, the ruler of Egypt and the Soviet Union founded the “Palestine Liberation Organization” (P.L.O.) whose name shows its Soviet origins. This organization came to fame when it massacred the Israeli athletes at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972. Since then, these Arab haters of Israel have been called “Palestinian.”

Tonio Finally someone states the real origin. Only one mistake: Hadrian took the name of an old invading people from the greek islands: the philistines and gave a latin derogatory name to the region based on that. By the way, the philistines were enemies of the kindom of Israel fior some 250 years. But by the time of Hadrian, they were extinguished already 200 + years.
The rest of the comment is totally accurate.

84% of “Palestinians” believe Israel was behind Paris jihad massacres

Following the terror attacks against the Charlie Hebdo magazine and a Jewish store in which Muslim terrorists killed 17 people in France earlier this month, columnists writing for the official Palestinian Authority daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida have claimed that Israel was behind the attacks.

This view is shared by the vast majority of Palestinians, according to a poll conducted by Ma’an (an independent Palestinian news agency). The poll found that 84.4% support the claim that “the operation (i.e., terror attack) was suspicious, and that Israel may be behind it,” while “only 8.7% believed that the murder of the French [citizens] in Paris was a natural result of the spread of Islamic extremism in Europe.” ……………………………..

Yeah—and yet, that hasn’t stopped “Palestinian” leaders Hamas from praising the murdering Jihadists as “Martyrs”—which is odd, if it was actually the Israelis trying to “make Islam look bad”.

    More Muslim cognitive dissonance.

    http://unitedwithisrael.org/hamas-praises-paris-terrorists/

    More:

Muwaffaq Matar, argued that because Netanyahu “wishes to realize the myth of the ‘Jewishness of Israel’” and encourage immigration, the attacks against Jews in France and elsewhere in Europe were “no coincidence, but a carefully executed and fully controlled plan.” He further argued that these claims were true because “‘Netanyahu’s Jewish State’ was the only one to benefit” from these attacks.
    ……………………………..

Ah—right. After all, it’s not as though Muslims would want to see a Judenrein Europe…sarc/off

    More:

Netanyahu “trades with the blood of the 17 victims of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper and of the supermarket,” wrote another regular columnist, Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul. He pointed out that Netanyahu wanted to “exploit the terrorism that struck some French Jews” to encourage them “to immigrate to Israel.” The writer claimed that “Turkish sources, including intelligence and the mayor of Ankara” determined that the attacks were “planned by the Israeli Mossad.”
    ……………………………..

Notice how truly bizarre the above is. First these Muslims claim that Israel committed the attacks, then that they “wanted to exploit the terrorism that struck some French Jews”—which clearly implies that someone else committed the attacks, and the Israelis merely “exploited” that fact.

    More:

Similarly, a journalist, Akram Atallah, interviewed on official PA TV claimed that “in the past, the Israeli Mossad carried out operations (i.e., terror attacks): It bombed synagogues in order to force the Jews to emigrate,” and that “the operation (i.e., the terror attack on Charlie Hebdo) served Israel’s demographic [interests], for the Israeli media and government bodies predicted yesterday that 10,000 French Jews would immigrate to Israel.”
    ……………………………..

And this, despite the fact that Muslims all over the world are condemning Charlie Hebdo, lauding the attackers, and calling for further attacks on them when they continued to publish Muhammed cartoons.

    More of that cognitive dissonance…
