Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Belgian museum cancels Charlie Hebdo tribute exhibition over security threat

Jan 28, 2015 12:10 pm By Robert Spencer

Belgium Charlie exhibitSee? Jihad terrorism works. It gets Infidels to change their behavior in accord with Sharia. It is because of decisions like this cancellation that we will see more jihad terrorism.

“Belgian museum cancels Charlie Hebdo tribute exhibition over security threat,” AFP, January 23, 2015:

Belgian museum dedicated to the creator of comic book hero Tintin said Thursday that security concerns prompted it to cancel an exhibition honoring the murdered Charlie Hebdo magazine cartoonists.

The museum in Louvain-la-Neuve near Brussels said it took the decision after consulting Wednesday with police who foiled an Islamist plot in Belgium last week, which followed the jihadist attack on Charlie Hebdo in Paris.

“The police presented us with the nature of the potential risks we need to be attentive to,” said Nick Rodwell, director of the museum dedicated to the memory and works of Herge.

“We decided not to open our exhibition on Thursday morning insofar as it could raise the concerns of both museum staff and the residents of Louvain-la-Neuve,” he said in a statement.

The exhibition was supposed to feature portraits of the murdered Charlie Hebdo cartoonists as well as the latest controversial caricature of the prophet Muhammad, published after the Paris attack.

Rodwell did not rule out reversing the decision if the alert level in Belgium decreases in the days and weeks ahead….

Indeed! By giving in to their demands, we are emboldening and enabling them. This assures more to come.

It exists from the top down. The problem is sickeningly poor leadership from the highest office in the land to the weak or nonexistent leadership of parents. This buckling to islamic threats has to stop. Otherwise, we may as well just admit defeat. Giving in to these disgusting creatures now means certain takeover within another generation if they haven’t destroyed us before then. I believe we are well into the “end times”.

It would be better to wait in hiding for them to show up and then destroy them.

A Charlie Hebdo tribute is both timely and appropriate. I am disappointed that the museum cancelled. Keeping the show as scheduled would have been an act in support of free speech. Another win for the other side. Tsk tsk.

I suggest the old Roman policy they execute/murder one of ours we execute 10 of theirs, preferably their clerics. Every time they attack a church we attack ten mosques. Of course we won’t do that as we are civilised people!

It’s a problem of demographics and immigration policy, that’s it. There really isn’t any need for fighting anywhere.

That’s correct and there isn’t any more. It’s not Mohammedans we are fighting in the end. It’s our own governments policies. The rest is just noise and impropriety and dishonorable taunting and abuse.

I couldn’t agree more with BC. At ten to one, they either get in step or they disappear.

I’d also let them know that nuking their holy sites of Medina and Mecca are open options.

Each individual decision to avoid possible recriminations by ‘inner struggle practicioners’ empowers them to demand more, more and more submission to the moon god and its aledged prophet.

Say it loud, say it proud, Mohammed was a paedophile psycopath! His follwers are nutcases!

Another cowardly, pro-islam country bowing to islamists / jihadists again.

Next, the Belgiumistani government will be telling the minority of non-muslims not to leave their homes because their loyal islamists are outside, passing by and doing their halal shopping; on tax-payers benefit payments of course!

What a f**ked up country Belgium is now, oh dear me..

We have a saying back in Iraq ” once it rott it will stink then you clean up” so let them all come out then people can take care if the governments don’t .. Trust me these jihadist are cawrd once you draw blood they all run .. I’ve been corners many times over there by Muslims trying
To force me to convert and I always come out with out a scratch ..

I vote for serious head fake brigades. Not one person injured. and retake all or most of former Byzantine territory – colonize it or “tutalize” it and make it a multi- culti paradise buffer zone to protect Europeans from mass immigration and self righteous entho- masochists .. Trade, Business and opportunities. No refugees. No sorrow. No fear.

        I can dream , can’t i?

Hmm, a memorial to the bravery of cartoonists sponsored by people not brave enough to exhibit the memorial. Perhaps all the brave people are now dead?

Reminds me of the memorial to Lee Rigby, which, of course, does not bear his name to avoid reminding anyone of him.

A cowardly decision but one they may have had no choice in applying. Unfortunately in this email of insurance and liability there may be a clause in their insurance public liability insurance which voids the policy if a coherent threat exists and the event goes ahead nevertheless.

Thus another part of the machinery of our society is exploited by these thugs.

The public liability policy I had for my business certainly said this. I’m most of Europe it’s a criminal offence to operate without public liability insurance, you are looking at years in prison.

Blame the lawmakers and the lawyers rather than the museum.
