“The international jihadist movement has declared war. They have declared war on anybody who does not think and act exactly as they wish they’d think and act. We may not like this and wish it would go away, but it’s not going to go away, and the reality is we are going to have to confront it.”
If only we had a President of the United States who spoke with this much clarity and realism.
“Jihadists have declared war, world must respond: Canada’s Harper,” by Julie Gordon, Reuters, January 8, 2015:
DELTA, British Columbia (Reuters) – The deadly attacks in Paris serve as a vivid reminder that jihadists are at war with those they disagree with, and the world must confront them, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said on Thursday.
“The international jihadist movement has declared war. They have declared war on anybody who does not think and act exactly as they wish they’d think and act,” Harper told reporters when asked about Wednesday’s attack.
“We may not like this and wish it would go away, but it’s not going to go away, and the reality is we are going to have to confront it.”…
Harper said any doubts in Canada about the reality of threats posed by such extremists should have vanished on Oct. 22. That was the day when a radicalized Canadian gunman killed a soldier at the national war memorial and then stormed the Parliament building….
Other manifestations of the threat posed by militant Islam in Canada included the case of the so-called “Toronto 18,” Harper said, referring to the 2006 arrests of a group of men charged with planning attacks on Toronto-area targets in a plot to get Canada to withdraw troops from Afghanistan.
Canada’s security agencies have been able to prevent most attacks by extremists from coming to fruition, Harper said.
“But the fact of the matter is this recent development, the emergence of the so-called Islamic State, its sudden control of a vast territory with vast amounts of financial resources, has escalated this to a whole new global level,” he added.

Hello Mortimer. Perhaps you’re not acquainted with BBC television’s ‘Dr Who’ and the infamous Daleks. They were scary, utterly malicious robotic creations whose only programmed role in life was to ‘exterminate’ the opposition wherever they invaded. Many children in the UK hid behind chairs in terror when they appeared on screen with their dreaded ‘exterminate! exterminate!’ followed by indiscriminate laser-gun fire and total destruction. I believe that the mechanical enunciation of their voices was a spoof of the archetypal German Nazi SS officer’s English pronunciation, as portrayed in British war films. Do you see particolor’s parallel with our Friends of the Prophet now?

While I don’t agree with Mr. Harper on all his views, I will vote for him on this platform alone. Astonishingly there are many who have already decided to vote for puppy Trudeau. One decision taken just before Christmas was that Canada will be looking to fulfil our agreement to take in Syrian refugees by picking those of “religious and ethnic minority” because they are the ones needing true refuge. I hope they stand firm on that and also have sufficient screening to determine who is a real refugee and who is just another jihadi trying to get in.
Roy Mears says
Finally a world leader with brains and balls enough to say it like it is. If Trudeau is elected we can kiss our freedoms goodbye or we will be taking up arms to protect them. Q: At any cost? How far would you go with that? How far would you extend that?
A: Well just watch me.”
Three days later he invoked the War Measures Act, rounded up hundreds of FLQ supported and pretty much ended the movement.
I’m trying to imagines a PM today doing this. Just invoke the War Measures Act… raid every mosque, home, friend, family member, of anyone on any watch list, supportive organization, etc. hold everyone without charges, unable to contact family or lawyers, question them, search without warrants, etc. and then use everything you know in a trial against them.

Yesterday I sent him British politician Paul Weston’s excellent video that can be found on YouTube: ‘Islam is NOT a religion of peace Mr Cameron’. I hope he watches it.

Prime Minister Harper, as a citizen of Canada, I fully support your position on this. You are on the right side of history, and the West needs a real leader in this never-ending struggle against the Mohammedan death cult. The continued existence of Western civilization is at stake.
dumbledoresarmy says
I hope you’ve just written him a letter – not an email, a real letter on paper – saying exactly that.
Every Canadian jihadwatcher who is in agreement with Mr Harper must do so.
Further remark: he’s still not quite there.
Because what is in fact the case is that the Muslim Ummah or Mohammedan Mob declared war on the world – on the entirety of the dar al Harb, the “region of war”, i.e. US, YOU AND ME, ALL US INFIDELS – a long time ago, in fact1400 years ago and has been waging that war, by every available means, locally and globally, by force and/ or by fraud, ever since. The war varying in intensity and in success according to the degree of resistance put up by any of the targeted kuffar and according to the resources available to any given part of the Ummah.
I would encourage you to print off, and send to PM Harper, two classic articles – Conor Cruise O’Brien’s discussion of the futility of trying to distinguish a ‘fundamentalist’ Islam which is bad from some other kind of Islam that is good; and Patrick L Moore’s scholarly and well-researched and fully-footnoted article “From Cold War to ‘Guerra Fria’,
I’ve linked both articles multiple times in this forum, because they are classics. Just in case anybody new is here reading over our shoulders – and it’s quite probable that this appalling mohammedan jihad atrocity in Paris may have brought a lot of curious new readers to Jihadwatch – I will link them again.

FROM “COLD WAR” TO GUERRA FRIA?
Patrick L. Moore
A third article that needs to be on the desks of all our politicians is Raymond Ibrahim’s discussion of Islamic deception – “Islam’s Doctrines of Deception” – that first appeared in Jane’s Islamic Affairs Analyst on 26 September 2008 and was then republished at the Middle East Forum.
http://www.meforum.org/2095/islams-doctrines-of-deception
“Islam’s doctrines of deception”.
Once one fully grasps the ubiquity and centrality of deception in the Islamic system and in its methods of waging war, one begins to take with a heaping tablespoon of salt all the crocodile tears and very carefully worded public statements made by ‘leaders’ of the “Muslim community’ and by doe-eyed hijabettes crying ‘persecution!”, after every attack within the West, such as the latest atrocity in Paris, or the beheading of Lee Rigby, or the attack on the Sydney chocolate shop.
Ibrahim’s article (and others in a series) lifting the lid on Islamic deception was, of course, greeted with howls of fury from the usual Defenders of Islam. He answered the critics here:
http://www.raymondibrahim.com/islam/taqiyya-about-taqiyya/
“Taqiyya about Taqiyya”.
It should not be forgotten that Mr Ibrahim, raised in America by Egyptian Coptic emigre parents who escaped from the predator pit in Egypt, is fluent in Arabic, knowing both Egyptian and Classical Arabic, and therefore has access to materials that have never been translated into English.

I’ve already written him and will continue to do so. Thank-you for the articles. Mr. Harper is the best we have right now, not perfect by any means and no saviour. He usually has more up his sleeve than he shows in his cards; I believe he says what he knows he can get away with at this time to “massage” the ideas through and not kill his chance at re-election.
He also has a strong interest in Mideast politics and history and does a lot of reading on the topic; it would not surprise me at all that he would have already read books by Robert Spencer. He refused to back down on taking along Rabbi Daniel Korobkin as a rep on a Mideast trip, though NCCM (Canada’s equivalent of CAIR) was outraged…b/c said rabbi had associated with Pamela G. and Robert S., introducing them at a conference or something to that effect. The NCCM filed suit of slander/libel or some such foolishness against the PM just this past year for associating them with Hamas. Don’t know where that case stands at the moment.
Anyway, he is a headstrong cookie and I hope he stands his ground AND makes headway. I see no other strong option for Canada right now. Pierre Trudeau did take a strong stance on the FLQ terrorists when he was PM during that turbulent time; however I only see a pale watered-down son in Justin, riding on his name.

It took more than 13 years since 9-11 for a major Western leader to go this far in condemning jihad.
Of course, jihad is inseparable from normative Islam. Most Muslims don’t want to conduct jihad, even though it is an obligatory action which is more important than prayer.
Without jihad, there is no Islam.

There are enough rad Muslims out there to commandeer the ummah, even though many are not in favour of the hard-core religious lifestyle and ideology. Here is one voice complaining about the current “religious revival” in Islam (since 1970s). This pathetic attempt at framing islamic terrorism as “self defense” or “justified” requires the recipient to be completely ignorant of islamic teachings and basic history – muslim armies throughout history have started wars and invaded nations because islamic theology mandates muslims to wage war against non-muslims.
“yet as this same article reads: “in a plot to get Canada to WITHDRAW troops from Afghanistan.” So, why in hell was doing Canada there in the FIRST place for godsake??”
Afghanistan is an hotbed of islamic terrorism since at least the 1990s. What Adri would have us believe is that Canadian presence in Afghanistan caused islamic terrorism, even though Canadian troops were in Afghanistan because of islamic terrorism.

“Prime Minister Harper, as a citizen of Canada, I fully support your position on this. You are on the right side of history, and the West needs a real leader in this never-ending struggle against the Mohammedan death cult. The continued existence of Western civilization is at stake.”
In both cases, my comment simply vanished, and has not shown up.
I am therefore going to try a third time, here. Apologies if the previous “tries” do turn up and I end up triple-posting.
I hope you’ve just written to him or will soon write to him, telling him to his face exactly what you just posted here.
And I hope other Canadian jihadwatchers here present will do the same.

He’s still not quite there yet, though; he hasn’t realized that it is the Ummah or mohammedan mob that declared war on the entire non-Muslim world 1400 years ago and has been waging war, by this or that means depending on local conditions, ever since.
So, to help bring him up to scratch, I’d suggest sending him – with your letter – printed-off copies of the following items, all of which I have linked repeatedly here in this forum, because they are classics.
If there are any new people here reading over my shoulder – and I would hope there are, I hope that this latest blatantly Islamic atrocity in Paris has opened a few more eyes and piqued the curiosity of many a googling Infidel and brought them here to jihadwatch – I advise them to click, and read; and then to make copies for themselves, save to their hard disk or onto their iphone/ whatever, and keep for future reference as required.

Every MP in Harper’s party should be sent these four articles, with a suitable covering letter.
A further suggestion. If one goes to the website of The Barnabas Fund, one can go to their ‘resources’ section and – for a very trifling price of a few dollars – get a handy little booklet called “What is Sharia?” Five pages, clearly written; and it sets out, among other things, “Five Areas in Which Sharia Is Incompatible With Universal Human Rights”.
That one needs to be on the desk of every non-Muslim politician and religious leader. Basic background briefing, to counter the sheer nonsense and lies that they are all being fed about sharia at the moment.

dumbledoresarmy says
Neither Judaism nor Christianity are “desert religions”. The Jew Jesus, the founder of Christianity, spent most of his life in Galilee – which is green and lush and well-watered, centred on a beautiful freshwater lake, the Kinnereth. You *do* realize that at least four of his disciples were **fishermen**?? They weren’t nomadic camel or goat herders; they lived in villages and went fishing on a *lake*.
And when he walked from Galilee to Jerusalem, all along the Jordan Valley he would have seen immense plantations of dates – a **forest** of date palms, 7 miles wide – that exported fruit all over the Roman Empire.
See here:
http://matthewkalman.blogspot.co.il/2005/06/seed-of-extinct-date-palm-sprouts-after.html
Seed of extinct date palm sprouts after 2,000 years
“Two thousand years ago, during the Roman Empire, Israel was known for the quality of its dates. They were famous throughout the Roman Empire.
“But date growing as a commercial fruit export stopped at the end of 70 A.D., when the Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans.”
“When the Romans invaded ancient Judea, thick forests of date palms towering up to 80 feet high and 7 miles wide covered the Jordan River valley from the Sea of Galilee in the north to the shores of the Dead Sea in the south.
“The tree so defined the local economy that Emperor Vespasian celebrated the conquest by minting the “Judea Capta,” a special bronze coin that showed the Jewish state as a weeping woman beneath a date palm.
Today, nothing remains of those mighty forests..”.”
The major part of the Land of Israel, the Land of Canaan, the land of milk and honey – and of wine, and dates – was NOT a desert in any real sense UNTIL Muslims, ruling and ruining it from the 7th to the early 20th century, *made* it so. Just like they did to the North African littoral, which used to grow grain for Rome.
So trying to conflate Christianity and Judaism – which were formed in the land of Israel, BEFORE over a thousand years of Muslim rule laid it waste – with Islam, as “desert religions” is just totally inaccurate.
dumbledoresarmy says
Mulakush
perhaps you might like to explain, too, why not a few peoples who did *not* live in ‘deserts’ – for example, the Incas, Mayans and Aztecs, who inhabited rich and fertile lands that could not possibly be called ‘desert’ (they had corn, potatoes, chocolate, beans, tomatoes, vanilla and squashes and avocadoes and chillis and capsicum) – practised human sacrifice? The Aztecs used to raid their neighbours expressly in order to bring back large numbers of captives to sacrifice to their gods.
And the Fijians and other South Pacific peoples, living in tropical island paradises, with fish and coconut and yams and pork and sweet potatoes, used to practise headhunting and cannibalism.
As for India…since you are Indian..surely I don’t need to remind you of the Thuggee cult? You can’t blame *them* on the Bible!

Until the world sees islam itself as the threat, the enemy, we will continue to loose this battle.
Note , we are NOT winning. We are not safer, we are not seeing a retreat of islam and it’s followers, and the level of wishful thinking staggers. The Military leadership states we have no armys to attack and destroy, and is without a foe to locate and destroy.
On the Factor, Bill O’ Reilly says the 911 mosque placement was the issue, where they wanted to build it, NOT what they would teach inside to the followers of islam.
Until we see islam itself as the enemy, the threat will grow.
When we dropped Atomic bombs on Japan, we were NOT targeting the power of the military’s base. We bombed with a simple message.
Unless you surrender, you will be removed from the planet.
And that is the same “message” being sent to us from islam, that is what they want.
This will be clear to all, with hope before Iran, or any other SOA members ,gets the power to force the world into the darkness of islam.

Islam is one as well as their tendencies. There is no Jihadist and non Jihadist. All are Jihadists surreptitiously as long as the defense of the religion is concerned. Only the unaware tend to be covered by ignorance of what is contained in Koran which is a compilation of aggression on non believers central of who are Jews and Christians. The better educated or exposure to the teaching of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be unto him) the more radical otherwise all share common tendency to fight to convert or be killed. Has Canada just woken from slumber to realise that war is compatible with the tenet of the religion. Increased education and better technology have increase the awareness in Islam to be totally obedient to the uprising seen today. We should be prepared to capitulate if the lesser faire attitude continues in not facing squarely the threat. The west and Canada and UDSA need to reassess the immigration policies because the uprising in France, in Canada in USA and in UK are all borne of descendants of Islamic emigrants who nothing could make them yield to assimilation to boiling pot of Western civilization and culture. The Prime Minister Government has announced to allow graciously 10,000 Syrian refugees to Canada. Similar gestures were made by other Western countries in response to helpless United Nation’s leadership.
It is good to let the suffering refugees get to other countries to flee from the intolerance of Islam at home. But as they arrive they arrive with the dogmatic attitude to obstruct change and totally closed to other religious portion. Ultimately from their extractions violent Jihadist will emanate to bite the finger that will feed them. Islamic adherents are totally and cultivated to give more allegiance to Islam and openly or secretly champion jihad as a religious requirement. How does the prime Minister plan to reconcile the dilemma now he has recognized a problem. Why not international community as the case of Sera lone create a home land in their territory for all Arabs political or religious refugees and do same thing in Africa or China to house them there instead of allowing the uncontained Islamic or other religious groups that champions different ideology that bothers on the application of violence and cohesion to convert. Otherwise the West and Canada including USA would create inadvertently a self-defeating policy of kindness and tolerance since no Moslem can sanely be exonerated from fist allegiance to religion than to the country they subscribe to as their nation.

That’s right, the Prime Ministers will need to translate his rhetoric into domestic policies that seek to limit Jihad within Canada. Additionally, permanent residency should not be given to large numbers of Muslim refugees; refugee support should take the form of assistance to refugee camps overseas which is more cost effective and keeps Canadians out of harms way from imported Jihadis.

The head of MI5 in the UK says that islamic terrorists are training in Syria and “are plotting to inflict mass casualties in the west.”
And Canada has a plan to allow 10,000 immigrants from Syria this year??????
If only one half of one percent of those persons wants to create chaos and mayhem that means 65 potential time bombs are being imported.

It is undeniable to anyone with a conscience and a shred of humanity that Islam, if not only limited to a significant majority, support this attack and the movement that has ravaged the western world consistently since the 1970’s-I could list the attacks and the casualties, the perpetrators and their specific movements and organizations but the only relevant fact is that the jihad that ended countless lives and seen Islam spread, ravage and destroy has come to the modern age and we stand ready to do absolutely nothing about it. We will do nothing about this attach because we are unable to admit the true problem. We will do nothing about the attacks of yesterday and the attacks that will come tomorrow. We will do nothing about the political exploitation that is going on inside of our government were radical Islam thrives under the protection of the American left and is allowed to fester under the guiles of freedom of religion, multiculturalism and tolerance. They have exploited the greatest weakness of our culture and now use it against us. As you sit silent and in denial that Islam-even so called moderate Islam-Islamist plot more attacks, knowing that the west will not act, knowing that strong speeches like Harpers will yield no action as they will certainly be overshadowed by weak leadership and rhetoric aimed t appeasement and apologies-Muslim’s will continue to do what they have done to the middle east, Africa and now Europe and finally the United States and Canada and that is purge them of apostates, non-beliers, infidels and kafir’s. Islamaphobia-wake up people-This is a grand movement and its very very dangerous-Remember 9/11, Pam Am 103-kenya, Tanzania, Kobar, USS Cole, the multiple Intifada, Bali, thousands dead in Iraq, Africa and Chechnya—–all at the hands of Muslim Terrorists-No, its not all Muslims but its all in the name of Islam and its enough to matter

May I remind you that Americans had their evangelical poster-boy President, #43. With him came he the invasion of Iraq and the opening of torture chambers around the world.
“President Bush said to all of us: ‘I’m driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, “George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan.” And I did, and then God would tell me, “George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq .” And I did.” http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2005/10_october/06/bush.shtml

Huh? Are the rants of one man supposed to be comparable to muslims worldwide committing acts of terror and quoting from islamic to justify it? Did Dubya quoted the Bible and say “As is says in book such and such, verses A to H…”. I think not.

Since somewhere around a million Iraqis died and ISIS was formed in the American prisons and torture chambers in Iraq there’s a tad more involved here than the “rants of one man” – though rants they were.

How many of them were killed by coalition troops and how many died from sunni/shia infighting?

It certainly there’s no moral equivalence between a 1400 year-old religion whose tenets mandate warfare against non-believers and one man who claimed God spoke to him. Remember the conquest of Egypt, North Africa, the invasion of the Iberian Peninsula, France, Greece? Remember Vienna and Lepanto? ISIS may very well have been started in an american prison (and that’s a debatable claim) but its ideology predates the existence of america by over a millennium – ISIS is just another manifestation of the islamic belief to make war on non-believers.
And what say you off all the other islamic terrorist groups around the world who follow the same ideology as ISIS and fight for the same thing, some of them having pledged allegiance to ISIS?

“at moments when Western societies consider themselves under attack, the discourse is quickly dominated by an ahistorical fantasy of long-suffering serenity and fortitude in the face of provocation. Yet European and American history are so strongly marked by efforts to control speech that the persecution of rebellious thought must be considered among the foundational buttresses of these societies. Witch burnings, heresy trials, and the untiring work of the Inquisition shaped Europe, and these ideas extended into American history as well and took on American modes, from the breaking of slaves to the censuring of critics of Operation Iraqi Freedom.”

The leaders of the US and free nations need to be taught by former ex-muslims what the true agenda and tenants of Islam are. There are men and women of good faith who need to come forward and testify under oath of these things in public or in private. Present the case in front of assemblies and leaders. They need to testify that Islam commands lying at its core in order to leverage an advantage. They need to explain their global goals and tenants of superiority that they must dominate and subjugate. We need brave people to come forward and speak the truth. Will it take a muslim exploding a nuclear device in a city to wake us all up to the lying cobra now strangling us?

Prime Minister Harper, you declared today (Jan. 30, 2015) that…”Violent jihadism “is not a human right.”
….Sir, it depends in whose eyes.
In the eyes of the self-justified, self-righteous jihadist, this violence is his right, is right.
….which is an example of extremist freedom…doing what is right in one’s own eyes… just as one justifies the violence of fornication, abortion, self-glorification, etc.
He also believes that his prophet and his god give him the freedom to kill in their names.
You can be sure, that in his heart, as he is demonically screaming allahu akbar, that he embraces his right and justification to kill his victims.
However, you can also be sure, that, if arrested and judged, when pressured, he will turn to his lawyers and the belief in “religious rights” in order to defend himself and his actions.
President Obama described this jihadist violence as an “evil” and as a “cancer”.
True, it is a grievous evil and a cancerous sore.
Is it a coincidence that the One God, by way of John, describes the effect of the first bowl to be an evil and grievous sore…falling as HAIL (terrorist attacks) mixed with blood on the beast and all those that worship its values? Could it be that the One God is using this to rub “self-freedom” in man’s face.
This same FREEDOM confesses that it is right to worship ANY ‘god’…religious freedom.
This is the true darkness of FREEDOM… It does not serve “the other”…it serves itself first.
President Obama has confessed that this freedom is not given …that it must be taken.
…if it must be taken , then it is not given by the One Creator.
And President Obama has confessed that this freedom is the way of his “common” god.
But The One Creator God, He Who is GOOD, said that we are to worship Only Him, to worship Only GOOD, for there is no other way to life… and he said to Cain…”if you do good will you not be accepted?”
The Lord Jesus Christ, Resurrected Son of the One Creator, said that we are to worship Only the Lord Your Creator and Him Alone to serve in obedience and love, love for Him First and Foremost and to serve, to DO GOOD…to DO GOOD…to DO GOOD to the fellowman.
Very soon, the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the One Creator, will return to rule the earth as the One King according to the Will of ‘I AM’ and NOT according to man’s first love for “his self-freedoms”, for his desire to justify, serve, and magnify oneself (XES).
