Trying to thwart a jihad that they don’t admit exists. Europe has “2,000-5,000 radicalized Muslim extremists”? How did so many Muslims in Europe succumb to this misunderstanding of Islam? The European answer will be that they lacked jobs and were marginalized in society, and will start pumping the jizya into Muslim communities. When they realize that this won’t solve the problem, it could be too late.
In a new Islamic State video, a jihadi declares: “I say to all French people who think that the Islamic State won’t arrive in Europe, with God’s help, we will arrive in Europe. We will expand across all of Europe, to France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and also the USA. I say to all my brothers that cannot immigrate and join the Islamic caliphate, try to resist with all means, kill them, slaughter them, burn their cars and homes. I say to my brothers, if you see a police officer—kill him. Kill them all. Kill all infidels that you see in the streets.”
And clearly some of those “radicalized Muslim extremists” in Europe are heeding the call.
“European police arrest over 2 dozen in anti-terror sweeps,” by Raf Casert and Angela Charlton, Associated Press, January 16, 2015:
BRUSSELS (AP) — French, German and Belgian police arrested more than two dozen suspects in anti-terrorism raids Friday, as European authorities rushed to thwart more attacks by people with links to Mideast Islamic extremists.
Rob Wainwright, head of the police agency Europol, told The Associated Press that foiling terror attacks has become “extremely difficult” because Europe’s 2,500-5,000 radicalized Muslim extremists have little command structures and are increasingly sophisticated.
Highlighting those fears, a bomb scare forced Paris to evacuate its busy Gare de l’Est train station during Friday morning rush hour. No bomb was found. A man also briefly took two hostages at a post office northwest of Paris, but police said the hostage-taker had mental issues and no links to terror.
Visiting the tense French capital, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met President Francois Hollande and toured the sites of last week’s terror attacks: the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo and a kosher supermarket. Twenty people, including the three gunmen, were killed.
One of those Paris attackers had proclaimed allegiance to the Islamic State group, and French and German authorities arrested at least 14 other people Friday suspected of links to IS.
Thirteen more people were detained in Belgium and two were arrested in France in a separate anti-terror sweep following a firefight Thursday in the eastern Belgian city of Verviers. Two suspected terrorists were killed and a third wounded in that raid on a suspected terrorist hideout. Federal magistrate Eric Van der Sypt said Friday the suspects were within hours of implementing a plan to kill police, either on the street or in their offices.
In more than a dozen raids Friday, Belgian forces found four military-style weapons including Kalashnikov assault rifles, Van der Sypt said. They also found several police uniforms, which could have allowed the suspects to pass themselves off as police officers.
Belgian officials were reasonably confident they dismantled the core of an important terrorist cell but Van der Sypt said more suspects could be at large.
“I cannot confirm that we arrested everyone in this group,” he told reporters.
Authorities did not give many details about those detained or killed in Belgium but said most were citizens and some had returned from Syria. They stressed that the targets of their crackdown had no known connections to last week’s attacks in France.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Friday that while there was no apparent operational connection between the two terror groups, “the link that exists is the will to attack our values.”
Belgium has seen a large number of residents join extremists in Syria.
“It’s the worst affected country in Europe relative to population size,” said Peter Neumann of the London-based International Center for the Study of Radicalization. He estimates 450 people have left Belgium to fight with Islamic radicals in Syria and that 150 of them have returned home.
Around the world, protesters rallied against Charlie Hebdo in several countries Friday. The satirical newspaper had 12 employees slain for lampooning the Muslim Prophet Muhammad but it defiantly put a new Muhammad cartoon on the cover of its first post-attacks issue this week. The issue sold out its 3 million copies — more than 50 times its usual press run.
In Karachi, Pakistani students clashed with police and an Agence France-Presse photographer was shot and wounded in the melee. In Algeria, demonstrators protesting Charlie Hebdo thronged the streets of Algiers, the capital.
Many Muslims view the caricatures of Muhammad as a profound insult to Islam.
Across Europe, anxiety has grown as the hunt continues for anyone who helped the three Paris gunmen — French police earlier told AP there could be up to six possible accomplices.
The Paris prosecutor’s office said at least 12 people were arrested in anti-terrorism raids in the area, targeting people linked to kosher market gunman Amedy Coulibaly, who claimed ties to the Islamic State group. France has put the country on high alert and deployed 122,000 police and troops to protect citizens, especially at Jewish schools and transport hubs.
The Belgian government on Friday decided to start using its army for some public security tasks, part of a 12-point anti-terror plan lawmakers agreed upon in less than 24 hours since the deadly clash Thursday night. The government will also expand legislation to make traveling abroad with a terror goal a crime and allowing authorities to withdraw ID from people suspected of traveling to such areas.
In Berlin, police arrested two men Friday morning on suspicion of recruiting fighters for the Islamic State group in Syria. Prosecutors said 250 police officers raided 11 residences at dawn, part of a months-old investigation into Turkish extremists….

Two dozen…only a drop in the ocean.
SpiritOf1683 says
2,000 – 5,000 radicalised Muslims is still a drop in the ocean. If just 1% of Muslims in Europe are radicalised, it still means at least 25,000 of them are radicalised. And you can bet it is far more than that.
SpiritOf1683 says
A typo. That should have read 250,000 of them being radicalised at 1% of Muslims in Western Europe. We are getting into frightening numbers here. If only 4% of Muslims in Western Europe being radicalised means an eye-watering 1 million of them.

This stuff will keep the European parasitic legal system employed for years. Uman rights. innit.

Posters depicting the paedophile, mass murdering, slave owning rapist Mohammed of Islam (PSUH ) should be pasted in bus stops, tube stations and the toilets of every club and pub in Britain and elsewhere.

The jihadis had acquired police uniforms? Unsettling.
The generous Belgians opened their arms to these migrants? Fail. Fail. Fail.
Glad that the police were successful. Here’s to hoping that they will catch more muslims, and rather than just stick them in prison, permanently expel them from Europe.

**Awesome**.
He was simply *flying*.
Truth, nothing but the truth, expressed without one wasted word.
God bless and protect him; if he can stay in there and fighting, he might save the Netherlands and if he and his party and those who vote them in can save the Netherlands, they might even end up saving *Europe*.

Geert Wilders: The Inanity Is Enough To Drive You Mad
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOF9CJlm2z0
It needs to go viral.
Spread it about, folks (and, those of you who know how, hurry up and make your own copies to keep safely tucked away for private recirculation, in case youtube is intimidated into taking it down).

It’s a start, I guess. Only when they go in force and clean up the no-go-zones and deport the Islamists throughout Europe will anything change.

According to the “stand with the prophet” conference website, the answer is “islamophobes in America”. That’s their answer to everything. Switzerland banned the construction of minarets? Islamophobes in America. Muslims looking to join terror groups? Islamophobes in America. The decreasing rate of approval of islam in America? Islamophobes in America. Musims drinking alcohol? Islamophobes in America.
Huh, why? Keep them under surveilance, identify the guys they recruit, let them leave and make sure they can’t return.

Poverty and lack of a job create jihad…of courser, I know when I was poor and unemployed, I went into the street and attacked the first Jew I saw, and that’s if I didn’t find a policemen first. It was a mistake to attack the Jew, he beat the tar out of me. After that I only attacked old women and children, and torched a few cars to work out my frustrations…Later, a rich man named Charles Koch gave me a job, and I haven’t attacked any old women since.

Is Belgium sure that they have returned “home”? By leaving Belgium to join IS, they are overt traitors to that county; their allegiance is elsewhere. (Were they arrested upon coming back to Belgium? Or just passports confiscated and free to go?) Maybe there is no such thing as being a traitor in Europe anymore. The EU is all in for enforcing open borders. The EU has this in common with Islam; Islam has no borders either.

Dismantling the EU is the first step to save Europe.

“The European answer will be that they lacked jobs and were marginalized in society…”
This is true, however it’s largely a case of ‘self marginalisation’ resulting from their struggle against assimilation; as for the lack of jobs, the sluggish economies of Europe and North America, with hidden unemployment significantly higher than the official rates, make a good case for reducing immigration numbers at the present time. The native populations of Europe should not have to shoulder both the current Jihad terror and increased difficulties in finding work; any type of positive discrimination in favour of immigrant employment over locals trying to find work is an insult and a betrayal.
Deirdre Gates says
Moslems have now built up their numbers across Western Europe (with more arriving every day in their thousands). They now have the river in which they can swim. The media will of course deal with this by interviewing this or that mimsy-faced little woman in a head sack who lisps ‘Islam is the Religion of Peace’ in the aftermath of each round of slaughter.
SpiritOf1683 says
Exactly, Western Europe has been committing suicide for at least the last 50 years. Its Muslim population is doubling every 20 years or so in percentage terms. For their numbers, they have more babies that Westerners, they’re virtually guaranteed to have babies if they reach adulthood (30% of babies born in France are Muslim babies, which tells us what the future has in store for that country), unlike Westerners; they’re a younger demographic than the native population, more aggressive, and believe they have a mission to make the West Islamic. More to the point, the West has been weakened, perhaps fatally, by political correctness and moral relativism, and is now ashamed of its own survival. These are all the tools they need to in their mission to make the West part of the umma and succeed where they failed on the past.

People don’t seem to realise that Islamic terrorism has nothing to do with the religion of Islam. Just because these terrorists pray 5 times a day, fast in Ramadan, believe in Allah, quote passages from the Koran, and follow the deeds (and atrocities) of Mohammed DOES NOT mean they have anything to do with a religion that prays 5 times a day, fasts in Ramadan, believes in Allah, quotes passages from the Koran, and follows the deeds (and atrocities) of Mohammed.
Why on earth would you think they had anything do do with each other?
If you do think that these Islamic terrorists have anything to do with a religion, that they religiously follow, you are being racist, Islamophobic, and intolerant of cultural diversity.
Search for Pat Condell, on why these Islamic terrorists have nothing to do with , well you finish it…..
Or , simply search trop thereligionofpeace Or am I being too ironic?
