Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Islamic State jihadis screaming “Allahu akbar” behead man for “insulting Allah”

Jan 29, 2015 5:02 am By Robert Spencer

Isis-beheading-1-v2“A militant addressed the large crowd, which included children, as the man was restrained behind him claiming to carry out the ‘law of Allah’ by executing him for allegedly insulting God.” Not that this has anything to do with Islam. “Isis publicly behead man in Syrian town square for ‘insulting Allah’ as he screams for help,” by Lizzie Dearden, the Independent, January 28, 2015 (thanks to Robert):

A man was held down and beheaded for “insulting Allah” in the middle of a Syrian town by Isis fighters as he screamed for help from the silent crowd.

Footage reportedly taken on Monday in the town of Al-Shadadi is the terror group’s latest show of brutality in its territories stretching from the Turkish border in Syria to northern Iraq.

Details of the man’s crime were unknown but his death was staged for maximum exposure in a public square.

A militant addressed the large crowd, which included children, as the man was restrained behind him claiming to carry out the “law of Allah” by executing him for allegedly insulting God.

Unlike most victims, the young man was not blindfolded and was forced to the ground face down to be decapitated.

He continued to struggle while screaming for help as the crowd stood watching and filming the gruesome display on their phones.

According to the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, who said the footage appeared genuine, he shouted: “I won’t forgive you, I am not the one who did it.”

Pure, unadulterated Islam. But the Western leaders and media dare not admit this, for fear of offending the tens of thousands of mohammedans they allowed into the civilised countries. Instead they must pretend that there are two Islams, one of them benign, and one extremist.

So while on the one hand the BBC is deprecating the Nazi holocaust, on the other they, and the British government, are enabling the next mohammedan one!

London Jim. i take it from your moniker that you are from the big smoke, You are right when you say coming to a neighbourhood near you . I have been trying to get some information on the beheading of grandmother Palmira Silva who was murdered in Sept 2014 , i was watching the BBC that day , while the blood was still flowing from that poor woman a police spokesman was in the street outside her house assuring us that it was not a terrorist attack. Stories emerged in the newspapers that the perpetrator Nick Salvatore was a convert to Islam, there appears to have then been a media blackout on this story and i have not been able to find out any information since Sept the last i heard was Salvatore refused to appear in court.

The media are mostly liberal. Maybe around 90% of them lean to the left. Some more than others but it’s around that mark. The left wing politicians like mass immigration because it’s about the vote. The more helpless people, the more CONTROL they have. Power is the order of the day with the left. They believe, they know best. They don’t believe you do. Pretty simple concept. Now, saying all that, my opinion is that the left along with their brothers in the media, will cover up as much as they can about the Islamic problem. The reason for this is very simple. Nationalism. The left are simply worried about the right wing making in roads and becoming very popular to a concerned population. This is a NIGHTMARE to the left. They will do ANYTHING to stop this. There will be plenty of a “Means to an End” but a lot people will die because of this crazy thinking. Remember this, it’s all about control and trust me, power is addictive!

For how long will the world wait? Until who from which country or continent is murdered? For how long will the helpless world stand speechlessly as innocent and helpless citizens of the world who placed their trust on us to defend then as cohabitant of the planet earth? For how long will humanity look unconcern as the growing cases of heading and beheading go unimpeded?
Until the Present Obama of the United States America , as the only superpower and the leader of free world leaves office if he chooses to spend the rest of his presidency in compromising with apologetic stance while the leader of United Kingdom Mr Cameroon seemed to have lost totally the extraordinary intelligence and diplomacy that characterize Britain and inspired her hegemony of the world with ideology built of righteousness of true God?
Perhaps, the world will have to wait and the killings go uninterrupted until the opposition parties in G8 or G20 countries conceptualize and formulate as an election issues the built around engaging the abhorrent teaching inherent in Islamic Holy book which become the springboard and reference points for absurdities, abomination and atrocities unleashed against humanity unfortunate to be found in ISIS and Boko Haram enclaves?
The entire world is waiting for purposeful leaders not the present apologetic alternative presently incompetent in handling the unfolding machination never known in humanity. Japanese leader thought pledging financial gratification is what the world is expecting from mighty Japan in confronting the evil. Japan is remembered in the heading adventure.
Among the leaders who will be farsighted enough to call United nation to orders for overlooking the gruesome murdering and confusion eclipsing the entire planet that fought two world wars to attain the present perfection in world peace and economic growth until the sudden emergence of the propagation of Islamism as the only religion whose God is supreme.
That the Mighty USA President Obama would be beheaded and America be transformed to a province of ISIS was found in the press this week. What is the world waiting before declaring be it a third world war on ISIS in a several prongs attack before it secure access to weapon of mass destruction given the wildly open and surreptitious allegiance of the citizens of the world to ISIS.
An unspeakable destruction is being awaited if it secures the liberty to mass destruction weapon in whatever magnitude. Air power alone without international organized boots on the ground to be followed by subsequent rewriting of Koran to make it to represent a religion of peace ascribed to Islam is the only language that will repudiate the growing cases of beheading, forced marriage of kidnapped women for sexual pleasure of the Jihadists, using children in suicide bombings, conversion by cohesion and a number of other cases of atrocities. Many gave their lives in world wars to bring peace to the world today being faced by religious intolerance and beheading of innocent human beings as mere animals. We seen an immediate end before it ends us

We should use some more politically correct results that don’t mess with the official “reality”
i’m pretty sure if you ask your local imam he will tell you that the number is less than 27 and even those killings were pure 100% self defense(just like the genoziding the banu quairish tribe//)

          on a more sicer note:
you are very well educated about muslim attrocities but maybe you have not heard
of the former serbic tradition of pregnant serbic women wearing big metal plates-officially as decorative/jewellry underneath their cloth.
The real reason for wearing this metal plates was that turkish/osmanic occupant very often killed those woman(2 kafurs with one strike) to lower reproduction on christians on the balkan. It was some kind of sport(and of course islam had nothing to do with this) and those women protected theit bodies with those plates.
But this did not help as turks took than away the first born slavic children (as a formof tax) to turn them into killer machines(the janitsares)

Interesting. I know when I took a class in Islam in college I was put off by what struck me as a fetishization of authority. The concept of the oneness of God, I think called tawhid, in Islam seems to echo in this fetishization. There is an insistence on truth, legitimacy, and frankly sanctimony that I think their culture doesn’t see (as a fish doesn’t know it’s in water) or takes for granted that is quite idiosyncratic relative to many other world cultures. It’s so antipodal to our roots– being hunter-gatherers, where generally egalitarianism and therefore dissolution of authority is the order. From my point of view, it seems essentially unnatural and implies some kind of manipulation.

Richie, you asked, “what now constitutes ‘Insulting Allah’ or ‘Insulting Islam’?

The short answer on that is, Allah has made harming the so-called prophet of Islam the same as harming him.

Therefore, the following, posted here, from a partial on-line available, Muhammad Messenger of Allah, Ash-Shifa of Qadi ‘Iyad Ibn Musa al-Yasubi, , Aisha Abdarrahman Bewley translation, Medinah Press, Cape Town, South Africa, Seventh print, 2008, 1429H:

      http://www.masud.co.uk/ISLAM/misc/alshifa/pt4ch1sec1.htm

      Part Four

The judgements concerning those who think
the Prophet imperfect or curse him

      Section One

The Judgement of the Shari’a regarding someone
who curses or disparages the Prophet

Know that all who curse Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, or blame him or attribute imperfection to him in his person, his lineage, his deen or any of his qualities, or alludes to that or its like by any means whatsoever, whether in the form of a curse or contempt or belittling him or detracting from him or finding fault with him or maligning him, the judgement regarding such a person is the same as the judgement against anyone who curses him. He is killed as we shall make clear.
This judgement extends to anything which amounts to a curse or disparagement. We have no hesitation concerning this matter, be it a clear statement or allusion.

The same applies to anyone who curses him, invokes against him, desires to harm him, ascribes to him what does not befit his position or jokes about his mighty affair with foolish talk, satire, disliked words or jies, or reviles him because of any affliction or trial which happened to him or disparages him, because of any of the permissible and well-known human events which happened to him. All of this is the consensus of the ‘ularna’ and the imams of fatwa from the time of the Companions until today.

Abu Bakr ibn al-Mundhir said that the bulk of the people of knowledge agree that whoever curses the Prophet is killed. These include Malik ibn Anas, al-Layth, Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Ishaq ibn Rahawayh, and it is the position of the Shafi’i school. Qadi Abu’l-Fadl said that it is based on the statement of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. His repentance is not accepted. Something similar was stated by Abu Hanifa and his people, ath-Thawri and the people of Kufa and al-Awza’i about the Muslims. However, they said that it constitutes apostasy.
At-Tabari related something similar from Abu Hanifa and his co
mpanions about anyone who disparages the Prophet, proclaims himself quit of him or calls him a liar.

Sahnun said about those who curse the Prophet, “This is apostasy in exactly the same way as heresy (zandaqa) is. Therefore there is some dispute about whether such a person should be called to repent (as a Muslim) or whether he is an unbeliever. Is he to be killed by a hadd-punishment (as a Muslim) or for disbelief?” We will make this clear in Chapter Two. We do not know of any dispute among the’ulama’ of the community and the Salaf regarding the permissibility of shedding his blood.

Several people have mentioned that the consensus is that he is to be killed and considered an unbeliever. One of the Dhahirites, Abu Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Farisi, however, indicated that there is some disagreement about whether to consider someone who belittles the Prophet as an unbeliever. The best-known position has already been stated.

Muhammad ibn Sahnun said that the ‘ulama’ agree that anyone who reviles the Prophet and disparages him is an unbeliever and the threat of Allah’s punishment is on him. The community’s judgement on him is that he be killed. Anyone who has any doubts about such a person’s disbelief and punishment is also an unbeliever. For a proof of this, Ibrahim ibn Husayn ibn Khalid, the faqih, uses the instance of Khalid ibn al-Walid killing Malik ibn Nuwayra for referring to the Prophet as “your companion.”‘[3]

Abu Sulayman al-Khattabi said, “I do not know of any Muslim who disagrees about the necessity of killing such a person if he is a Muslim.”

Ibn al-Qasim reports from Malik in the book of Ibn Sahnun, the Mabsut, and the’Utibiyya and Ibn Mutarrif relates the same from Malik in the book of Ibn Habib, “Any Muslim who curses the Prophet is killed without being asked to repent.”
Ibn al-Qasim said in the ‘Utibiyya, “Anyone who curses him, reviles him, finds fault with him or disparages him is killed. The community say that he should be killed just like the dualist. Allah made it obligatory to respect the Prophet and be dutiful to him.”

In the Mabsut from ‘Uthman ibn Kinana we find, “Any Muslim who reviles the Prophet is killed or crucified without being asked to repent. The Imam can choose between crucifying him or killing him.” In the variant of Abu’l-Mus’ab and Ibn Abi Uways, they heard Malik say, “Anyone who curses the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, reviles him, finds fault with him or disparages him is killed, be he Muslim or unbeliever, without being asked to repent.”

Asbagh said, “He is killed in every case, whether he conceals it or makes it public, without being asked to repent because his repentance is not recognised.” ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abdu’l-Hakam said that and at-Tabari related something similar from Malik Ibn Wahb related that Malik said, “Anyone who says that the Prophet’s cloak (or button) was dirty, thereby intending to find fault with him, should be killed.”

One of our ‘ulama says that people agree that anyone who curses any of the Prophets using the expression “Woe to him” or anything disliked is to be killed without being asked to repent.
Abu’l-Hasan al-Qabisi gave a fatwa that a man who called the Prophet “the porter, the orphan of Abu Talib” should be killed.

Abu Muhammad ibn Abi Zayd gave a fatwa to kill a man who was listening to some people discussing what the Prophet looked like. When a man with an ugly face and beard walked by, he said to them, “You want to know what he looked like? He looked like this passer-by in physique and beard.” Abu Muhammad said, “His repentance is not accepted. He lied, may Allah curse him. That could not come out of a heart with sound belief.”

Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, the companion of Sahnun, said, “Anyone who says that the Prophet was black should be killed.”

He was told about a man to whom someone said, “No, by the right of the Messenger of Allah,” and he replied, “Allah did such a thing to the Messenger of Allah,” mentioning some ugly words. People said to him, “What are you saying, enemy of Allah?” Then he said some even harsher things and added, “I wish for a scorpion for the Messenger of Allah.” When someone asked him for fatwa about this man, lbn Abi Sulayman said, “Testify against him and I will be your partner,” i.e. in killing him and getting the reward.

Habib ibn ar-Rabi’ said that is because trying to explain away the literal expression is not accepted because it is clear contempt and lack of respect for the Messenger of Allah. His blood is permitted.

Abu ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Attab gave a fatwa about a tax-collector who said to a man, “Pay and complain to the Prophet. If I ask or am ignorant, the Prophet was ignorant and asked,” to the effect that he be killed.

The fuqaha’ of Andalusia gave a fatwa that Ibn Ha tim, the scholar of Toledo, be killed and crucified because there was testimony that he made light of what is due to the Prophet. In the course of a debate, he called him “the orphan” and the in-law of the lion (i.e. ‘Ali),” and claimed that his doing-without (zuhd) las not intentional. He alleged that if he had been able to have good things, he would have eaten them. He said other similar things.

The fuqaha’ of the Qayrawan[4] and the companions of Sahnun gave a fatwa forthe killing of Ibrahim al-Ghazari, a poet and master of many sciences. He was one of those who attended the assembly of Qadi Abu’l-‘Abbas ibn Talib for debate. He was accused of objectionable things like mocking Allah, His Prophets and our Prophet. Qadi Yahya ibn ‘Umar and other fuqaha’ summoned him and commanded that he be killed and crucified. He was stabbed and crucified upside down. Then he was brought down and burned. One of the historians related that when the post to which he was tied was lifted up, the body turned around away from qibja. It was a sign to all and the people said, “Allah is greater!” Then a dog came and licked his blood.

Yahya ibn ‘Umar said, “The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, spoke the truth,” and he mentioned a hadith in which the Prophet said, “A dog will not lick a Muslim’s blood.”[5]

Qadi Abu ‘Abdullah ibn al-Murabit said, “Whoever says that the Prophet was defeated is asked to repent. If he repents, it is all right. If not, he is killed because it detracts from the Prophet. Such a disparaging remark could not be said about the Prophet by anyone with understanding of his affair and certainty about his inviolability.”

Habib ibn Rabi’ al-Qarawi said that the school of Malik and his companions is that anyone who says anything disparaging about the Prophet is killed without being asked to repent.
Ibn ‘Attab said that the Book and Sunna require that someone who intends to even slightly harm or disparage the Prophet, either by allusion or clear statement, must be killed.

Anything like this which is something that the ‘ulama’ consider to be a curse or disparagement necessitates that the one who says it be killed. Neither the early or later people disagree about that, but they disagree about the basis for killing him as we have indicated. We will make this clear later.

This is also my position regarding the judgment of anyone who belittles him or insults him about having been a shepherd, oversight, forgetfulness, sorcery, any wound he received, the defeat of one of his armies, injury by an enemy, the intensity of his illness or his being attracted to his wives. The judgement of all this is that the one who intends to disparage him by it is killed. The position of the’ulama’ is as we have already stated and it will be proved by what follows.

It’s astonishing to see how much worse the problem has become since 9/11. If someone told me this would be the state of affairs 14 years later I’d think it outlandish and paranoid. It goes to show that peace and order are far from inevitable. As a kid I thought the concept of WW III to be similarly outlandish– I mean, the odds of any European country attacking another are practically zilch, but I didn’t realize that might not matter. I also never conceived of, whatsoever, the dissolution of Europe which looms. With the mania that is Islamic state, and the escalating competition between Saudi Arabia and Iran, obviously spilling all over the place by proxies (even to Argentina, for God’s sake) a conflict orders of magnitude worse than we’re seeing not only seems possible, but frighteningly plausible. Out of curiosity, what do you all guess will be happening 1 year from now? 2? 5? 10? 25?

I hate to even ask. But what do you think would be the response to:

    1) The US capitol suffering a major attack
    2) Britain suffering a major attack, such as on Parliament
    3) al Baghdadi being killed
    4) Iran going nuclear
    5) a major attack in Israel/Tel Aviv
    6) hideous atrocities carried out in the West, such as broadcasted beheadings of kidnapped civilians (again, hate to even ask)
    7) A veritable collapse/ coup in Pakistan
    8) Any potential inflection points not listed you’d envision as being “game changers” where some critical mass is reached and the world is pushed onto a trajectory, with sides’ hand forced, so to speak?

But what do you think would be the response to:

The US capitol suffering a major attack

Shock and horror, a clarion call for more interfaith dialog by Moslems being interviewed on TV, and a big boost in the budget of the DHS.

Britain suffering a major attack, such as on Parliament

A major crackdown on UKIP for having incited things.

      al Baghdadi being killed

Self congratulation on finally having turned the corner in the war on terror, as after the killing of Osama.

      Iran going nuclear

This has already happened, and there was no reaction. Watch for the reaction after the launch on Tel Aviv.

a major attack in Israel/Tel Aviv

A firm scolding of the Jews for their land stealing racist apartheid ways, with most of the scolds being news entertainer Jews (for credibility).

hideous atrocities carried out in the West, such as broadcasted beheadings of kidnapped civilians

Another big boost to the DHS budget, plus the same for the Dept of Justice. Also, an unfortunately necessary incursion of the rights of Americans, especially on the freedom of speech, which can only lead to more such hideous atrocities.

A veritable collapse/ coup in Pakistan

A nuclear exchange with India, which the media questioning Modi’s policy mistakes and bemoaning the tragedy.

There is no fun in Islam. There is no Islam in the Global Jihad. But, most of all, there is no honesty in the Infidel elites, who want the whole thing to just go away.

Wow. Thank you, Alarmed Pig Farmer. I didn’t expect a response so quickly nor such a wonderfully nuanced one. I should clarify– I meant Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon and the world being sure of its existence. One I forgot is:

        9) IS making significant incursions into Saudi Arabia. I think that’s thankfully unlikely, but still interesting.

Arabia has the easiest oil to recover anywhere, so they have unlimited funds. The unemployment rate among Arabians n Arabia is sky high, but the people get plenty of money from the gubmint there. Life is about money, and no people are so comfortable with emptiness as the Moslems.

So the New Caliphate has a tall mountain to climb there. And anyway, the oil is well protected there, and Infidel gubmints will deploy heavily to protect it.

My guess is that the New Caliphs won’t meet with much success there, but they are sure to try. One of their weaknesses will be the unassailable credentials of the House of Saud when it comes to Sharia compliance, Islamism.

I agree with your assessment of the IS-Saudi Arabia situation. It’s too tough a nut for lS. I particularly liked your answer concerning the killing of Baghdadi. It goes to show that this movement is different from Nazism, for example, in that it’s not so much about a charismatic leader. HOWEVER, if you consider Muhammad to be that person, then it points to the reality that he can not be taken out, as Hitler was, but only argued against (which Robert does so well). Yikes… as you said… no fun.

missed all of this. At least I did until I came across the work of Walid
Shoebat, who you’ve most likely heard of. As a former Muslim who
lived in the Middle East who then became a Christian, it’s clear he’s
got a uniquely perceptive view of what’s really happening now and
what will happen in the future.

This is a relatively compact video in which he sums it all up :

He continued to struggle while screaming for help as the crowd stood watching and filming the gruesome display on their phones.

The tiny minority of extremist hijackers is getting bigger and bigger. I never knew that Unicorns could be bloodthirsty, heck, I always thought they were a grazing species that’d acquired the bad habit of feeding on Infidel taxpayer dollars was their only flaw.

Yet the prima facie assumption is that Islam is a good belief system that is unfortunately somehow open to being hijacked. That is never questioned, in fact it is asserted tirelessly on Fox RINO and in the WSJ, and in every other major news outlet. Why? The explanation is that the Unicorns are forced to celebrate murder of Infidels by peer pressure, or as a salve to the white colonialism they’ve suffered, or the occupation of Palestine by the apartheid racist Jews.

But let there be no direct connection drawn to the Islamic scriptures, can’t do that, not the least of reasons being that doing so could be fatal to the news entertainer with the honesty and courage to try.

True, but before it could be dealt with, we had to go through the whole appeasement fiasco, orchestrated by such tools as Chamberlain, Petain, et al.

The same will happen again. People refuse to learn from history.

If not for what I have read in the Bible, I would lose heart upon reading such accounts as this. But I trust the True God and His Son to keep their promises to bring an end to this satanic evil. Actions such as these monsters, these worshippers of demons, are doing daily are a grave insult to humanity. . .understandably, the best and brightest have moved on to more recent articles here on JWatch, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to waffle away abit for the record as had a mental block re: commenting and neglectful re:ading , lazy over a self-indulgent Yuletide and disgusted at how pathetically ineffective the wee opinions I preened myself on touting here were, in the wake of the dead. I will commit any further comment on this thread centered on the victim, and endeavor to give him a posthumus voice.

Can’t bring myself to re-read the article, so pardon me if my recollection is erronious. That being said, some salient geometry kept making me turn back again and again despite the ?where?when?how? whom? becoming ever more obscure as the hours tick by and the death count mounts.
the unquestionably sepulchral { was really at me wits end . . .scrabbling through a universe of adjectives where each and every shook its head, lowered its gaze and in hushed tones gestured ‘Nay, not I’ , until, with the solemn etherally unswerving countenance of antiquity came the nod of confirmation.} , and that shape pivoted around the axis of the entire genome of the concept/ion of ‘forgiveness’. When the penny started to drop, even the idle finges of my conscience reflexively flinched, aghast at the imminent confiscation of those comfy niches cunning/opportunism/guile and :-/ grottyness had appropriated along the journey, and rapidly starting to get pissed (stateside-fashion) at this lunatic called Keith 9.13.62 (when’e got dragged feet-first kickinandscreamin by ‘is grandad Teddy, obsetritian at Derby General Hospital) ,and who , in an Omen-esqely foreboding twist of what, 22 later, was to be certified by the now infamous celebrity head-shrink (ex) Dr Peter Rowan as nothing less than trademarked schitzo with a prefix of good ole manic depression. .anyhows, this Keith bloke did ‘an Obama’ an somehow switched ‘is name to ‘James’ by the tine he hit the font, then buggered off to spend the next 3years in Kenya. The tabloids speculate that he was looking for Lord Lucan, but this is not a funny thread, and stepping out of a blue door on Portobello Rd bollock naked into a media circus might be a rewarding stunt in Notting Hill, but get real Jim, you gotta be nuts trading. .to bd cont

Right. . Apos for the hyperbole, the point of which is to try and lay a foundation stone for a memorial of sorts for the victim of a crime so foul that the brave man’s soul is calling out for justice with a resonance no less awesome in its sincere majesty than the cry of a leviathon that oscillates the width of oceans, its delivery so powerful and pitch so perfect that it isn’t so difficult to imagine it never stopping. . .

  33. London Jim says

    Feb 4, 2015 at 4:23 pm

Although it’s not clear from the report, the fact that the man fought back against his killers so valiantly and must have been totally spent physically and utterly disorintated beyond being able to make a defiant last protestation that was not in answer to a question spat contemptuously at his brave and bloddied face. .

  34. London Jim says

    Feb 6, 2015 at 1:20 am

. . So, there are several possibilities : maybe his tormentors told him to say out loud that he forgives them, and if that were the case and the response they were trying to elicit being ”forgive them []they know not what they do”, it would not have been to alay their own consciences, as they knew exactly what they were doing, and whether the victim was, or was not, a Christian, they intendd to portray the dominance of Mohoism over Xianity to a wider audience. Alternatively, someone in the crowd (?his accuser) may have asked, gloatingly satisfied that a dispute between them was nearing closure.
