The lack of gratitude is astonishing. Somebody on the bus even stole the bus driver’s computer. Recently, Muslim refugees came to Sweden in a private jet.
Translated from DKA:
On New Year’s Eve, around 40 asylum seekers from Syria and other Middle Eastern countries were driven around to a small northern Swedish town, Grytan. But here they would certainly not stay.
The asylum seekers had a fit and refused to leave the bus. They would not stay in such a small, cold city. They demanded to come to Malmö or another big city.
“I am 75 years old and from the Middle East, and then I am sent to a place like this,” said a man from Syria to the local newspaper, Östersunds-Posten, and pointed to the road with ice and snow.
The authorities were accused of lying: “we were not told that this was where we were going.”
“The Syrian bus occupation” got a lot of attention in the Swedish media, triggering criticism:
“We have long heard refugees complaining about the accommodation. Now they complain about the cold and the lack of metropolitan atmosphere.”
