    • Thanks for that link, Ashley. I watched the entire eleven minutes though the last few minutes did not deal with the bombing or Muslims. Maher is once again to be applauded. He stated things quite well though Jimmy KImmel seemed clueless and made efforts at pc/mc talk. Also, the author (Lloyd Grove) of the article in the Daily Beast that accompnied the video was quite snarky and dismissive of Maher. Well, Maher got it right. Kimmel was useless. And Grove’s aritcle was worse than useless. Again, thanks for posting. It’s worth the watch.

    • Thanks for posting that link, Ashley. Bill Maher is one of the few who largely gets it, and is brave enough to say so—both in the face of Muslim threats and false charges of “Islamophobia” and “racism” from the left.

  8. Thank you for supporting free speech and outing the truth about Islam. You are doing great work! The best way to honor those who lost their lives yesterday is to republish the cartoons over and over again. If Muslims truly wanted to show their support for free speech and the satirists who perished in the terrorist attacks they would be running these cartoons in their own newspapers. It’s easy for them to SAY “we condemn these attacks” but much harder for them to take a simple action that demonstrates they don’t stand with the terrorists. It will never happen, of course, but this is exactly what Muslims should do if they wanted to demonstrate they stand against Islamic terrorism and they stand FOR freedom of speech. No doubt they will continue to whine about “backlash” and give soundbites about how they condemn Islam inspired terrorism.

      Think about that a minute — there IS a central control – that HAS to TELL the separate imams to “condemn violence and terrorism” — why do they have to be told that? inquiring minds want to know. And then they say “wherever it comes from” — — they do not admit it is coming from islam — i.e. — we’re still innocent li’l white man’s burden

    • If they really want to condemn this and all other acts of terrorism the only thing they need to do is condemn the ideology that lays behind it all. They cant do that though because they will then be making themselves apostates deserving of the death sentence.

There are websites and tv channels that I don’t watch because I know from limited exposure to them that they aren’t for me. islam should learn to practice that method of self censorship.

Your e-mail address gives away your location in case somebody wants to track you down for threatening Jihad Watch , or the people involved with Jihad Watch . I hope you’ll be tracked , arrested , charged and punished according to the law . Besides , having fun at the cost of peoples deaths isn’t healthy , you might have serious mental problems . Having fun with Charlie Hebdo’s cartoons IS healthy . I would appreciate it very much to see more and regular publications of these funny images/cartoons in Jihad Watch !

  13. I would love to see every newspaper and magazine in this country publish a picture of Mohamed on the front page or front cover. That would be a great way to show Muslims the world over that in this country we believe in freedom of speech and expression.

  17. Despite the record so far I think the West is capable of, albeit reluctantly, confronting Islamic evil and destroying it. Like they say about Americans – eventually, after trying everything else first, they will do the right thing.

    I don’t think the terrorists realize yet how much harm they are doing to their “religion” and thus to their fellow Muslims.

    One last thing: the reason this subject is so hard for people to deal with is that Islam conflates political power with religion in a way that no others do. But this will finally backfire and destroy their own ideology completely and for all time.

  18. I think that all of the newspapers and magazines in this country should publish the cartoon of Mohamed on either their front page or the cover of their magazine. What a great way to show the Muslim world that in this country we value above all else our freedom of expression and speech.

    If Muslims don’t want freedom of speech, they need not have it. Censorship is available already in every Muslim country.

    We should pay everyone who prefers censorship to leave Western countries with the promise of their not returning.

    Sadly, there is a war coming on every continent on the planet, but our leaders are acting like chamberlain before ww2. Sticking their heads in the sand yelling “peace in our time” not realising that peace means something different to the other side.

    I feel so sad for all the avoidable deaths that are coming in the next decade or so. The left wants to kill off about 90% of the population of earth, muslims are willing to kill about 90% of the population of earth. The left are covering for the muslims, so they can sit back and say it wasn’t us, we just wanted everyone to all get along, we had no idea multiculture societies would implode when islam was introduced, really.

    Now see….there’s the dilemma for so many of us…..

      Funny, people quite often help me with my shopping, hold open doors for me etc,, but to date, **none** of them has ever proceeded to tell me their religious positions, and whether or not they contravened their religion’s tenets …

    Individuals like you need to be a part of round table discussions, most politicians and their advisors do not have a grasp on the fundamental principles, goal, time factor and agenda that Global Sharia supporters have designed.

    If this was a ball game, an you could give a scouting report to all democratic zones, the news will not be invited.

Isn’t it of concern that Muslims will not tolerate any negative comment on their founder when their are legitimate questions about his lifestyle;yet Christians are expected to wear any criticism,ridicule or satire about Jesus Christ, even though the Bible records that his detractors “could not find any fault in this man”? Doesn’t this beg the question about the relative roots of these two leading belief systems-which one is based on fear and hate and which is based on love,peace and tolerance in this present Age of Grace? Let the non religious around the world be the judge and draw their own conclusions.

In reply to Sakovkt I would say the big issue facing moderate Muslims today is the reluctance to encourage honest debate about the origins of Islam as represented in the life and lifestyle of its Founder.Furthermore we don’t know what goes on from the Mosque pulpit. Is tolerance for other beliefs taught as a requirement?Are the leaders careful to control radicalisation?Why so defensive and angry if someone is “insensitive” to write or publish some negative about Mohammad. Surely the blasphemy is in the inappropriate comment against Allah?But who is Allah? Is it the same God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob?That is the question the West is rightfully asking of Muslim scholars.
    In the meantime negative remarks are made all the time about Jesus Christ but you don’t see radical Christians going in and shooting the authors of these comments.
