How could this be? Obama, Kerry, Biden, David Cameron, and everyone else assures us that the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam. So why is it so appealing to young Muslims in the West? Why are Muslim parents encouraging their children to join it? The cognitive dissonance is massive, and the FBI isn’t doing what it should be doing: calling upon U.S. Muslims to teach against the Islamic State’s ideology. Right now, it is not being countered with any organized program in U.S. mosques or Islamic schools, and no one seems to care.
“FBI official: ISIS is recruiting U.S. teens,” by Pamela Brown and Wesley Bruer, CNN, February 4, 2015 (thanks to Aron):
Washington (CNN)For the head of the FBI’s counterterrorist division, Michael Steinbach, the unknown worries him the most.
Steinbach is leading the daunting effort to stay on top of the evolving threat landscape, which includes targeting and recruiting teenage Americans. In an exclusive interview with CNN inside the agency’s Strategic Information and Operations Center, he acknowledged it’s extremely difficult to track every American who might travel abroad to join terrorist groups like the Islamic State.
“I’m worried about individuals that we don’t know about that have training,” Steinbach said. “We know what we know. But there is a number that’s greater than that that we don’t know.”
Steinbach says U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies don’t track individuals leaving the United States to vacation in Europe.
“Once you get to Europe, you can easily get down to Turkey and into Syria” Steinbach says.
There’s growing concern about homegrown violent extremism in the aftermath of last month’s terror attacks in Paris. Those strikes underscored the threat posed to the West by small groups of terrorists with western passports who are influenced by the rhetoric espoused by ISIS. Steinbach is concerned that type of attack could happen on U.S. soil.
When asked if there are ISIS cells in the U.S., Steinbach said “there are individuals that have been in communication with groups like ISIL who have a desire to conduct an attack” and those people are living in the U.S. right now, but he says the term “sleeper cells” is too simplistic, because the threat is much more complicated and diffuse.
In the U.S., the FBI has seen children as young as 15 recruited by ISIS and Steinbach said he “can’t speak with 100% certainty that individuals of that age group have not gotten over there successfully.”
In some cases, Steinbach said parents even encourage their children to be involved with terror groups.“There are individuals out there who are inspired by the message of terrorist groups and they encourage family members, including their children, to follow that path,” he said, adding in those cases, the FBI holds the parents responsible….

In a ‘post modern society’ the favoured approach is to let each cultural group work it out for themselves and manage their own affairs. The accolades for the ongoing demolition of modern society can go to all those who follow the world views of Jacques Derrida and Michel Foucault. The French will soon disown them.

As an aside, I find it very interesting that many of the names listed above claim to be Christians …
Question: “Knowing Jesus vs. knowing about Jesus—what is the difference?”
Answer: Fan magazines help us answer this question. Adoring fans of movie, TV, music, or sports stars buy thousands of dollars’ worth of information, photos, and juicy tidbits. After poring over such material, the fans feel as if they really know their heroes. But do they? They may know certain facts about their chosen hero. They may be able to cite birth date, favorite color, and childhood pets, but, if they were to meet that person face to face, what would the hero say? Does the fan really know the hero?
Jesus responded to this question in Matthew 7:21–23: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” There were people in Jesus’ day who thought they were friends of His because they knew the Law, made strict rules for themselves (and for others), and listened to His teaching. They followed Him, applauded the miracles, and liked some of what He said. But Jesus calls them “evildoers” and states, “I never knew you.”

According to Obama and these other dhimmi Western leaders ISIS, Al Qaeda and other Muslim terrorists groups have nothing to do with Islam even though they are doing nothing that the Warlord Muhammad did not do 1,400 years ago. I guess these lying jackasses believe that Muhammad had nothing to do with Islam either.

I just heard the Rev obola news clips from the prayer breakfast. Making comparisons to the Crusades and slavery to justify islamic atrocities. The moors would still be in Spain if obola had his way. Weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth is not supposed to be a goal and it is common everywhere you find islam. Judge a tree by it’s fruit. I’ve had one to many liberals drag out the Crusades argument to defame Christianity as well as quotes from the DaVinci Code. Being Liberal with the facts is no way to win an argument.

Make the best of a bad situation – let them go and don’t allow them back. And kick the families who support their decision to go fight for ISIS out as well, if possible.

It is all very mysteriously abstract: “terror attacks in Paris” ….“a desire to conduct an attack” …“inspired by the message of terrorist groups …..to follow that path”.
Here’s a racy idea for all those Sherlock Holmeses in the FBI. Might the “rhetoric espoused by ISIS” – or, more accurately, the teachings followed by Islamic State – have anything to do with Islam? The Koran and Sharia might shed light on what kind of “terror” is being struck by those mysterious unidentifiable “violent extremists”. Just an idea. No racism involved.

Nothing matters. We are not going to win the war on terrorism unless we free the Muslim slaves. We must free the Muslim women and children from a slavery worse than that endured by African-Americans in the US. The Muslims are bringing their slaves into the territories–the dar al-Harb–like Jeff Davis wanted to bring his slaves into the Kansas Territory in 1860. Lincoln stood up, Obama has laid down. Not surprising since he is more Muslim than Christian and was brain-washed as a child. You might want to take a look at From Here To Coocoocachoo by Denis W. ” Not surprising since he is more Muslim than Christian”
Denis, Jesus clearly said that you can not serve two masters. Muslims worship the devil so there is clearly a conflict of interest here. Obama is a Muslim, you can tell by the “fruit” he produces.
Yes Muslims are slaves, I never thought about it that way. We also have to remember that a dead Muslim is condemned to hell. It is our job to show them the light of JESUS CHRIST and the salvation the he freely will give to everyone if they accept him as their lord and savior.
On the other hand we do not have to submit to Islam and put up with their terrorist ideology.

May be islamic state thinks what they do is jihad, however real jihad in islam is totally different.

Ahsan, You are clearly a Muslim and I have some bad news for you. You WILL be going to hell unless you accept JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and savior. Christianity is a religion of love and peace, not of death and subjugation. Now this will knock your socks off. I will be praying for you, that you will see the light and accept Jesus into your heart.
Now one question, Do you see the difference, that this is not being done at the point of a sword with the threat of getting your fingers chopped off and your head smitten(chopped off) from your body?
vox populi says
… pretty pecualir indeed that if it’s true that not all muslim are Daesh members, all Daesh members are muslims.
But I’m sure Obama’s administration and / or their freinds at CAIR will be able to proove that it is just an unfortunate concidence, or a mere statistical occurrence…

Whenever a Jihadist returns home, the home should be sold to fund anti terrorist programs. There should be no right to appeal and it should be a mandatory part of the sentence. Why should we fund their incarceration? Why question who is responsible for their upbringing?

We should take it one step further, deport the whole family. Mom, dad, brothers ,sisters, aunts and uncles. Deport them with only the shirts on their backs. Like Martin V. said in the 2nd above reply, sell everything they have for anti-terror funds. Anyone planning or doing terror attacks should suffer the same fate. Families also. You can’t tell me that no one in the family knew what was being planned. This way some of the B.S. might stop. If they are peace loving then they should tell authorities what is going on. The anti-terror fund could also be used as a reward system.
Well… what do you guys n’ gals think about this?

Interesting comment from Assistant Director Steinbach! Please note that he is the one who took credit for purging FBI training materials that contained truthful information about Islam and the violent ideology contained within the Koran, Hadith, and Sira.
He is known to have boasted of his role in the purge so… as far as I am concerned it is fair game to call him on his recent statements. Of course he has concerns about the recruiting of American youth. He learned about Islamic Fundamentalism shortly after he arrived in the Counterterrorism Division; long before he became an executive manager. At the direction of the former FBI Director Mueller; as pushed by Attorney General Holder Mr. Steinbach enthusiastically carried the orders to ensure that FBI training materials are devoid of the information that Agents need to conduct intelligent interview with parents and youth that are subject to radicalization. He knows the details of Islamic Radicalization but his Agents do not.
Think about the interview of the Boston Bomber by the FBI, since that agent did not have training in Islam and the Islamic ideology that encourages violence against anything that is not Islamic (Any religion, culture or legal system that is not Islamic) he categorized him as a non-threat! An interviewing agent must be knowledgeable about the use of Islam to inspire/foster terrorist actions. Without such knowledge there is no way one could quantify the nature of a threat.
Sorry Mr. FBI Assistant Director, you cannot lament the influx of ISIS’s efforts to court our youth while you are personally responsible for ensuring that our FBI Agents do not understand the threat!

Recruitment of the youth in small, medium size towns (in the U.S.)I think is happening with the slick video’s that jihadi’s like to post and even by the news media. Young pretty woman in fashion hajibs…. lots of young men..wheeling new trucks… While shopping a young man flashed the thumb across palm four fingers straight up… sign at me… what was he thinking,I have seen young men on bikes with interesting bags and wraps. I saw a flags in arabic, up one day gone the next…at times I notice a lot then times nothing. Sometimes fireworks….late at night…..even during snow storms. ..so i am glad to know the FBI is aware….Today is a sad day I read unconfirmed reports of an U.S. female hostage aid worker may be gone. Not much news about her existence not much concern about her life or rescue.. no media event at the W.H …very sad. No prisoner sway to save her…

ISL is all about Islam nothing more. Anyone with half a brain knows this. And fwiw, these brainwashed individuals who go over there to “fight” for ISL, let them. So long as they are prohibited from returning to their host nation. I am all for Muslims in the western world going to Iraq. They can never return here though.
