The story to which Mehdi Hasan is referring is this one: Michigan: Muslim asks people if they’re Muslim, stabs those who say no.
So now when Muslims attack non-Muslims solely because they are non-Muslims, it’s the fault of “anti-Muslim hate speech.” Apparently this Muslim was driven into a homicidal rage by all the anti-Muslim hate speech he was seeing in the mainstream media (where? when?), and went out and attacked non-Muslims for it.
The implication here is that if there weren’t any “anti-Muslim hate speech,” Muslims wouldn’t attack non-Muslims for being non-Muslim. So what Mehdi Hasan, Political Director of the Huffington Post UK and Presenter at Al Jazeera English, is saying here is that our response to a Muslim attacking non-Muslims solely because they are non-Muslims should be to restrict criticism of Islam.
I have exposed him as a fascist foe of the freedom of speech before, and here is more proof of that.
