Boko Haram, whose official name is the Congregation of the People of the Sunnah for Dawah and Jihad, can act with apparent impunity in Nigeria, with the government (despite its boasts) unable or unwilling to stop them.
“Maiduguri under fresh terrorist attack,” by ‘Jola Sotubo, Pulse, February 1, 2015:
Boko Haram insurgents have launched a fresh attack on Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
Explosions and gunfire were heard as the battle between the terrorists and soldiers began at about 3am today, February 1, AFP reports.
The Boko Haram members reportedly attempted to enter the capital through the Southern suburb of Dalwa but were countered by troops.
“It is the Boko Haram terrorists we are battling with now as you can hear. They wanted to enter through Dalwa. But we are tackling them,” a soldier on the frontline told Premium Times.
“The whole city is in fear. People are afraid of what will happen if Boko Haram defeats the security forces,” a resident, Adam Krenuwa told AFP.
Boko Haram insurgents had made an earlier attempt to capture Maiduguri on January 25, but were repelled by soldiers.
Story developing.

And with good reason. We know what will happen, whether we look into it from the quranic perspective or all the historical precedents.

This is why it is so important to REVEAL the true nature of Islam.
Islam is very porous once it is revealed of its true nature.
Islam is made up of many cheap minded opportunists who will just as gladly turn on each other when the opportunity becomes available.
They act like they want to sing “We be jamming in the name of the Lord” when all they really wish to do is thieving and treating young girls like their personal whores.

Malik :: Book 46 : Hadith 46.1.3
Yahya related to me from Malik that he heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “I have left two matters with you. As long as you hold to them, you will not go the wrong way. They are the Book of Allah and the Sunna of His Prophet.”

24: 19. Verily, those who like that (the crime of) illegal sexual intercourse should be propagated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allâh knows and you know not.
4:16 And the two persons (man and woman) among you who commit illegal sexual intercourse, punish them both. And if they repent (promise Allâh that they will never repeat, i.e. commit illegal sexual intercourse and other similar sins) and do righteous good deeds, leave them alone. Surely, Allâh is Ever the One Who accepts repentance, (and He is) Most Merciful.
5:5. ………….not committing illegal sexual intercourse, nor taking them as girl-friends. And whosoever disbelieves in the Oneness of Allâh and in all the other Articles of Faith [i.e. His (Allâh’s), Angels, His Holy Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection and Al¬Qadar (Divine Preordainments)], then fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.
17: 32. And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fâhishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allâh forgives him).

Isn’t it odd how a minority of people can overcome the majority and force them to do things that they don’t want to do? It’s kind of like the few thousand people at the top, in our country, who impose their will on us.
Someday, the people might figure out that they have the bad guys outnumbered and actually stand up and change things.
Maybe it is this way in Nigeria because the Progressives and the politicians took away everyone’s guns. Or, maybe they are too poor to own weapons…I don’t know. But, what if every person in every village was armed. Do you think these cowards would dare to enter their villages, or for that matter, the capital?

Boko Haram are getting their a$$es handed to them by Chad and Cameroon. Nigeria always had a week government due to corruption. Their performance against the RUF in support of Siera Lione in the mid 90s was heinous. Most of their officers were more interested in taking bribes and selling intel to the RUF than fighting them. The main problem in this conflict is no body really cares. There is nothing of real value in Nigeria except a little oil and some crops. Nations do not want to risk the lives of their soldiers or spend their war chests for just the sake of the inhabitants. Chad and Cameroon are only fighting to keep BH out of their territories. They probably won’t pursue them much further unless persuaded to do so.
It is too bad the African Union passed the anti-mercenary law. Nigeria could use some professional help.

Cameroon is still over 70% Christian whilst Chad is still around 53% Christian. Their troops are obviously better led and motivated. And it makes you wonder, or maybe not, as to where Boko Haram get their equipment from.

The Nigerian government cannot trust its own army as many of them are muslims. Back in 1968 there was a civil war there with the secession of Biafra, the most Christian part and also most developed. The British, who as colonial masters invented Nigeria, supported the government and the Biafrans failed.
