Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

‘They will kill us’: Pakistani Christian family seeks asylum in Bangkok after escape

Feb 27, 2015 9:52 am By Robert Spencer

Pakistani Christian familyThis is just one family out of a great many in the same situation. This is a human rights catastrophe of immense proportions. But no “Islamophobia” is being committed, so the UN doesn’t consider it worthy of significant attention.

“‘They will kill us’: Pakistani Christian family seeks asylum in Bangkok after escape,” Express Tribune, February 26, 2015 (thanks to Lookmann):

BANGKOK: They were a middle-class family in Pakistan, living in a comfortable three-bedroom apartment with a modern kitchen and a PlayStation for the three kids, reports The Associated Press.

Fluent in English, the father ran his own moving company while the mother taught art.

A death threat signed by an extremist group with three bullets attached compelled the Christian family to leave it all behind 18 months ago.

Now they live in a barren room in Bangkok, where the children share a double bed and the parents sleep on the floor. They cook on a propane burner on a tiny balcony.

A picture of Jesus, the source of their solace and their troubles, hangs on the inside of the door.

This, increasingly, is the life of the asylum-seeker and refugee….

Despite the hardships, many say they will never return home. They are too afraid. “We’ll just face the same sort of threats again,” said the mother. “I’m not willing to sacrifice my children for that. “‘We will shoot you and your children’

In Pakistan, the couple and some Catholic friends helped run a small, free school for poor children.

One morning in 2013, a warning signed by an militant group was slipped under the door of the school office.

“Stop giving missionary education to Muslim children. Otherwise, we will shoot you and your children,” said the threat, which was viewed by The Associated Press.

Ten days later, the school received another warning, only this time it was with bullets.

The school volunteers filed a complaint to the police; the AP viewed a copy of the document, which had been stamped by local police to indicate they had received it.

The couple’s account was corroborated by several people contacted by the AP. The couple said the school never taught Christianity to Muslim children, but did teach Bible stories and prayers to the Christian kids when their Muslim classmates were not there.

They said that sometimes the Muslim kids would hang around, hear the prayers and recite them at home. Pakistan’s religious minorities are increasingly persecuted – not only Christians but Hindus and Ahmadis.

They say that although no one has been executed under the country’s harsh blasphemy law, it has been used to threaten non-Muslims and incite mob violence. In November, a Christian couple was killed by a mob for allegedly desecrating the Quran.

An estimated 12,000 religious minorities have fled Pakistan since 2009, according to Farrukh Saif, who heads a minority advocacy group that supports asylum-seekers in Bangkok.

The threatened couple fled to Thailand because friends said it was easy to get a tourist visa and because other Christians had gone there.

“People told us, ‘Save your lives first, then worry about the other things, “’ the father said. After hiding for a month, they packed two suitcases of their belongings and boarded a midnight flight for Bangkok. When they arrived in the steamy Thai capital, relief quickly turned to anxiety.

The food, the language – everything was new….

They were lucky – Christians in Pakistan have been killed for less.

The powerful corporate interests that have bought and paid for Western democracies do not give a rat’s ass about religious minorities being butchered in Islamic countries. All they care about is the profit potential of doing business there. It is not good business to stand up to savagery when that is the local norm. The smokescreen for all this is the Orwellian ‘islamophobia’ political deceit embraced by Western politicians and media outlets.

The Western media’s refusal to voice the persecution of Christians is unconscionable. I suppose it doesn’t paint Islam as the hapless victim their dissertation does. Sheep among wolves…

Once again. Justin has not a word of criticism for the murderous Muslims themselves—all of his ire is focused on America and the West. This is hardly the first time he has called on God to destroy us—preferably using homicidal Mohammedans to do so. *Ugh*.

Whenever I see somebody calling on ‘god’ or quoting from the bible I give up as they are all as bad. ‘god’ or ‘allah’ or whatever has never done anything for the human race. Why? because something which is non existent cannot do anything. Have you noticed how ‘god’ gets the credit for the good things but is never blamed for the bad? As much time has been wasted on prayer to the various ‘gods’ as on masturbation but at least with the latter one gets a result

    “Pakistani Christian”

I am truly surprised any such people still exist. All non-Muslim minorities are headed for the same fate as the Jews of what is now Saudi Arabia.

I’m confused. Who are the weasels now? The Christians who were trying to help some little children or the Muslims who were threatening to kill some little children?

“Writer” seems to be siding with the vicious Mohammedans threatening to murder this Christian family for daring to offer poor Muslim kids an education. *Ugh*.

Muslim kids would however try to avoid hanging around Muhammad and his pedophile sock-puppet Allah who would persist to show them his weasel.

I saw an interview in Youtube with an Iraqi Christian with a very similar story. They lived a decent life in Mosul. They had to quickly get into their car and take whatever they could and they made it ti Beirut where they live in a tiny apartment having lost everything.

There is a Catholic Foundation which depends on the Vatican, based in Germany called Aid to the Chuch in Need. http://www.acn-intl.org/pg/donate.html?p=EN,,,1.23,,, One can donate there specifically to help persecuted Christians. They also have national offices in many countries as is mentioned there. . They help not only Cahtolics but also other Christians.

  8. Asia Bibi...where is the media uproar says

    Feb 27, 2015 at 5:21 pm

Meanwhile Asia Bibi is still in jail in Pakistan and awaiting a death sentence for “blasphemy” against Islam….
Where are the Western leaders trying to get her and her family out of that hell-hole or pressuring the evil Pakistani government?
Oh sorry, that is right, drinking out of the same well as a muslim MUST be a crime. She obviously must deserve to be put in jail for six years for that. You won’t hear a whisper from Obama, UK leaders, Australian leaders…none of them about Asia Bibi. They sleep while she lives in fear. The injustice is profound. Wherever there is Islam there is injustice. That is a fact.

‘They will kill us’: Pakistani Christian family seeks asylum in Bangkok after escape
    ……………………………..

Of course, Thailand has its own problem with homicidal Muslims murdering Christians and Buddhists in the south—still, Thailand is overall *much* safer than Muslim-majority Pakistan, which is murdering and driving out the last of its Infidel population.

And note the specific reason that these Christians were being threatened—because they charitably ran a free school for poor children, including Muslim kids. Notice that Muslims hadn’t bothered to provide this. And why would they? The truth is that *most* charities in Dar-al-Islam are run by caring Infidels, either Westerners or even—as here—by oppressed indigenous Infidels, especially Christians.

The idea that they were evangelizing under such circumstances is, of course, highly unlikely.

But even if they had been, any dissatisfied parents could simply have removed their children from the school. Only pious Muslims believe that exposing Muslims to other faiths is *grounds for murder*.

And now these kids—both Christian and Muslim—have likely lost their school. How I hate Islam.

This family sounds principled, talented, entrepreneurial, and hard working. And they speak good English—I hope they make their way to the US—or to Canada, or Australia, or New Zealand. Of course, all these nations, along with Britain, as more apt to take in ravening Muslims. More fool we if we don’t take in such a family.

It’s grim alright for Pakistani Christians. I once met a Pakistani Pastor who told me (in a matter of fact sort of way) he had been shot at on three occasions, in attempts to kill him, but he would not give up his ministry.

Pakistan a country especially created for Muslims of India at their own request/demand, is a dystopian hell hole for anyone not a Muslim (no surprise there although we know Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance) This is what we have to look forward to if Islam is allowed to dominate. Pakistan should be a shining model of a modern Islamic state, if Islam is as pure and perfect as it claims to be that is. i mean they are all following the example of the perfect man are they not?
