My next book, The Complete Infidel’s Guide to ISIS, will be published on August 17 by Regnery Publishing.
The Complete Infidel’s Guide to ISIS will illuminate:
• why the Islamic State is nothing less than the foremost evil force of our time
• what constitutes its appeal among young Muslims
• why the condemnations of ISIS from Muslim groups have been completely ineffective in stopping young Muslims from joining ISIS
• why ISIS is likely to be around for years to come
• why it must be defeated and how it can be
• what is likely to follow in its wake if it is defeated
• the nature and magnitude of the ISIS threat within the United States
• much more.
Coming this summer: The Complete Infidel’s Guide to ISIS by Robert Spencer!
ECAW says
Why must it be defeated? It’s doing great work educating the world about Islam.
I wish it well in setting the Middle East ablaze and hope to see Islam destroy itself there. Rather there than here anyway.
David, Thailand says
Unfortunately, when world leaders and even Muslim organisations condemn the Islamic State and claim its violence is unIslamic, Joe Snoozer is easily convinced that Islam must indeed be a peaceful religion.
Don McKellar says
I tend to agree with you, ECAW. The more the Islamic State asserts itself, the weaker and more clueless those world “leaders” appear to the voting public. All that needs to happen is for the current crop of politically correct fools to be replaced by people who are not fools (or as compromised and corrupt), it will be like a light switch has been turned on around the world and the proper steps will be taken against Islam. If the Islamic State were to be defeated for some reason and go away, then the “moderate” moslems would be given credit by the usual lying fools because “they’re the real moslems”.
And you are certainly right in that it is would be a great thing for the free, advanced world for the Middle East to collapse into an all-out shi’ite – sunni slaughter house. All we must do is stay the hell out of it except to sell them weapons.
cs says
This premise is absolutely correct, good thinking.
Then one must also analyse the ambiguity of Mr. Obama, this great pretender, and his laziness in doing with it. Don’t you have second thoughts with him? Because I do, I don’t really know in which team he is playing.
I also notice that the interest for “Palestinian causes” are lowering, some people are starting to questioning the similarity of both causes, that operate in different degrees, surely.
ECAW says
I’m glad I’m not alone in this view. I am not bloodthirsty but we are realistically faced with only more or less bad options. I have a heirarchy of prefered outcomes:
1. Muslims worldwide have a change of heart and “A God who loves replaces a God who hates” as Wafa Sultan wishes – donkeys may fly.
2. There is a reformation in Islam which finds convincing theological arguments to prefer the Meccan version over the Medinan one – Can’t see how this is possible since its creator declared it perfect in the late Medinan phase but hope seems to spring eternal in some breasts. Look at Ayaan Hirsi Ali, she now calls herself a heretic rather than an infidel and hopes for just this outcome. You can’t rely on anything these days!
3. Western Governments make it clear that any of this jihad/sharia/supremacism nonsense and you’re off to the desert (or the uninhabited one of the Falkland Islands, can’t remember which one it is) – There’s a slight possibility if enough politicians and journalists find themselves paying the price rather than the ordinary Joe.
4. Islam destoys itself, or at least its credibility in the eyes of 1.6 bn people. Its promise of being a winner is irrevocably proved to be nonsense.
5. Vitrification of the Gulf oilfields (that would pease the “Keep it in the ground” green types), Mecca and Medina – 1.6 bn people might again think “Oh, it must all have been tosh then””
6. Civil war across the Western world. It could drag the British people away from Eastenders and be the (re)making of them.
7. Subjugation, cos Islam has never envisaged any other relationship with the kaffir – the worst option of all. Both our grandparents and our grandchildren would rightly despise us if we let this happen.
ECAW says
Forgot 5a:
IS are defeated. Politicians say “You can relax now. The nasty people have been taken care of” Meantime the demographics and the fifth column of the MB etc continue to drag us ever further down.
Shane says
ISIS is the leading Islamic jihad group in the world today, and it is inspiring thousands of young Muslims in the West to join the jihad cause. That is one reason why it must be stopped; the jihadists are already here in the West.
AJ Liberphile says
I very much look forward to reading it Robert, and hope you enjoy mine, due to be published in the next few weeks: Defeating the Islamic State.
David, Thailand says
Good luck with your book. I obviously haven’t read it, but am certain it is not possible for our current crop of weasels to defeat the Islamic State.
IS is here to stay. It can only survive by expanding, which it has done and will continue doing with at best token cosmetic resistance from those we are supposed to trust.
Ric says
Robert, I hope you send Obama and other Western leaders a copy… an autographed edition. I’m sure they will put it aside in preference to reading the Koran kept under their pillows. I am, like others, looking forward to reading it.
duh_swami says
Complimentary copies to Kerry, Biden, Brennan, Jeh Johnson, Pelosi, Cameron, May, every member of Congress, Marie Harf ( Especially Marie Harf) and others who get great joy out of reminding us that Islam is the Religion of Peace and ISIS has nothing to do with that……
boakai ngombu says
… US Department of State, several copies. …
Fiona says
Robert,
Are all your books available as a series when wanting to purchase the ‘lot’ (to date, written)?
Cheers,
Fiona
Robert Spencer says
Thanks, Fiona. Not as such, as they’re from different publishers, but I could send them all to you – email me at director@jihadwatch.org and we can work it out.
epistemology says
I’m sure it will be as brilliant as all your other books. Looking forward to reading it.Hope you can prove to all these appeasers that IS is Islamic, not only by name.
AnneCrockett says
Hah! I misread “illuminate” as “infuriate” at first. Either is okay by me.
Now to get new glasses.
Michael Copeland says
How wonderful it would be if Regnery publishing could bring forward the publication date.
Roll on publication day.
Mirren10 says
Goody !
I’ve got all Robert’s books now, and will add this one to my library – will it be available on kindle ?
Jack HOLAN says
Robert
This sounds like it will be a book not to set down until I’ve read it from cover to cover.
You might want to send Marie Harf a copy since she wasted a fortune on her degrees at Georgetown. IS Terrorists don’t need jobs or income. What does she think they have now.
