I am honored to be speaking at the Young America’s Foundation’s New England Freedom Conference, to be held this weekend in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Senator Ted Cruz will also be speaking, as well as Katie Pavlich, John Stossel, Steve Lonegan, and YAF President Ron Robinson.
The YAF info site on this conference says:

! ! ! ! ! ! ! THIS IS EXCELLENT NEWS ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Senator Cruz has declared his candidacy a couple of days ago . . .
Maybe there is a chance to get AN ENTRANT INTO THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE speaking reality about Islam’s jihad and Shar’ia — not fantasy hatched in political cowardice or privilege guilt.
Consider cynical old Me to be very pleased at the ;potential for a major seismic shift in our national conversation..
Don McKellar says
“Maybe there is a chance to get AN ENTRANT INTO THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE speaking reality about Islam’s jihad and Shar’ia…”
As the U.S. Military Industrial Complex and Big Oil have so much investment and money at stake with Islamic Supremacist regimes like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait. etc, it is highly unlikely that any candidate is going to be saying any thing significant about the reality of Islam until maybe they are actually in the running as the party’s choice for their presidential pick. If Cruz or any other candidate speaks to truth before then, they will not only be demonized by the media, which may scare their other party members, but will be attacked from within their own party by those powerful economic forces and those whom they control like zombies.
jihad3tracker says
Yes, Don —
Agreed that we might have to wait for truth to be told — because of hidden money + backchannel connections.
But how about a 5 cent wager that Ted Cruz will let slip a nugget of reality in one of his campaign appearances ?
Don McKellar says
A virtual 5 cent wager it is!
Lucretius says
I think you’d be pleased to see that Ted Cruz has already spoken frankly about “radical Islam” and in the very face of the objection that this might alienate those Arab allies.

ECAW says
Thanks for that link but Cruz spoiled it at the end by echoing the line that radical terrorists are perverting Islam. Perhaps he knows better and goes as far as he can, or perhaps not.
jihad3tracker says
Hello (again?) ECAW — Yes, he caved.
But I am confident that, as his campaign staff develops positions on major issues, they will consult with experts on Islam — finding a path to ever clearer & more truthful remarks.
One of those experts could be a guy posting oodles of interesting items here . . . I won’t disclose his name, though. Perhaps a quick call to your favorite reliable telephone psychic will reveal it.

Ted for Pres.
Robert for Sec. of State
What a heavenly dream!
FarmerMike says
And maybe Newt Gingrich for UN Ambassador.
Brian Hoff says
Ted cannot be ptresident as wasnot born in America since the righjt wing people are alway saying Oman wasnot born in America he was born in America.
Joseph says
@ Brian Hoff.
Do you work in a fertilizer factory in the production department?
Just asking since the shit that comes out of your mouth is rather rich.
I see that you still haven’t been taking any English lessons.
Gea says
Nothing will change until the traitor in the White housse, baracdk Hussein Obama is impeached and removed from power. Main stream media are too cowardly to pub lishg stuff that is factual and are still playing their politically correct cultural relativism.
If you have a Congressman who had courage write him letters to start impeachment proceedings ASAP.
45charlie says
Well deserved.
wallace says
Sock it to them Robert as i know you will.
William says
I see CAIR is pressuring Cruz to avoid sharing the stage with Mr. Spencer.
Bezelel says
Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. May the force be with you.
Linde Barrera says
This comment is to jihad3tracker and Don McKellar: not to “rain on your parade” but the Supreme Court will probably be asked to decide the validity of Ted Cruz’ bid for president since he was born in Canada of an America citizen mother and Cuban father. Because of his status, he is considered a Canadian citizen by Canada, as that country was his physical birth place. Wonder what will happen next….
Jay Boo says
Ted Cruz might need to contact Obama’s short form birth certificate print-for-hire company at Documents-R-Us (no questions asked).
Don McKellar says
The Constitution says that you must be a “natural born Citizen”. It says nothing about where you were born. Cruz qualifies, even though he was actually born in the greatest country in the world before moving to the second greatest country in the world, he has always been a natural born Citizen because his mother was an American citizen.
Obama also qualified — and would have even if he were born elsewhere because his mother was, without question, an American citizen, and therefore so was he by birth. Which has made the “birthers” look like such complete retards all this time.
Brian Hoff says
The Demoncrate are going to bring that he wasnot born in america as payback for the GOP Birther going after the current president the way they did.
dsinc says
Trumps being born in Kenya.
Don McKellar says
The Constitution doesn’t say anything about where you were born, only that you were born a natural Citizen — which his mother was, so he was. Which is why people like McCain and Romney could run, and why the whole “birther” movement with Obama was completely idiotic.
Lia Wissing says
Praying for you for the weekend, Mr Spencer.
ECAW says
With what purpose in mind Lia? Do you have any reason to believe praying has any effect? After each praying project do you weigh up whether it had worked or not? After Robert Spencer’s weekend will you decide whether yours prayers were effective or not, and on what basis?
Don McKellar says
The thing with praying ECAW is that if what the person prays for comes true than god gets the credit. If what the person prays for doesn’t get what they pray for then god is off the hook because it’s clearly “not his will” and that “he has other, great plans”. It must be one fantastic job to be a deity — you don’t have to do anything at all and let events of human affairs play out as they will, and you get all the credit! And when things don’t work out the way they wish they would, you are not held to account! And all the time you didn’t have to do a darn thing! What a job.
Don McKellar says
I’d pray for a way to fix typos in a post after I’ve posted, but that’s not going to happen… for good reason.
Joseph says
@ ECAW & Don McKellar
THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR.
Lia Wissing, You can pray to JESUS for me anytime. I would greatly appreciate it. May the love of JESUS CHRIST be with you and yours.
FarmerMike says
@Lia, & Joseph, I agree that prayer is definitely worthwhile.
We might wanna take a look at the investigative work referenced by Lynne McTaggert in “The Intention Experiment,” which offers interesting evidence that intentions DO have a positive effect.
Then there is also the fascinating evidence for “The Maharishi Effect.”
I, too, will offer a prayer for Robert. But I’ll also take some actions, to back up my prayers.
JamesonRocks says
Congrats, Robert! Go get ’em! Show them what excellent looks like!
