He was warmly received. If anyone protested his appearance, it isn’t reported here. The shattered, staggering, dhimmi, subjugated UK is welcoming those who seek its ruin into the foremost corridors of power. “Islamist Sympathiser Launches ‘Muslim Manifesto’ in British Parliament,” by Donna Rachel Edmunds, Breitbart, March 6, 2015:
A known Islamist has appeared in Parliament to present a ‘Muslim Manifesto’ ahead of the general election. Azad Ali, who has previously spoken of his “love” for al-Qaeda terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki, received a warm reception from the audience which included a number of Labour MPs and former cabinet minister Baroness Warsi. (h/t Guido Fawkes)
The manifesto has been put together by the Institute for Muslim Community Development, as a “call-to-action” for parliamentarians, “pinpointing key issues of high importance to the Muslim community.” According to their website, it was assembled through consultation with “grass roots members, community leaders, religious leaders, social activists, academics, thinkers and politicians.”
The list of 33 points is comprehensive, but amongst other things, the manifesto calls on members of parliament to “Support efforts to accurately remember Muslim and non-Muslim histories including oppressive and genocidal actions against Muslim peoples by British and European peoples”; “Celebrate and support Muslim heritage and cultural institutions”; “Eliminate the root causes of institutional discrimination against Muslims and introduce tougher legislation to prevent it”; “Introduce more robust legislation to curb media hate campaigns against Muslims” and “Acknowledge that the holy scripture of Muslims (the Qur’an) does not endorse terrorism and the murder of innocents.”
It was highly praised by the parliamentarians in attendance, including Baroness Warsi who said that the “Muslim Manifesto is something you can take to your election candidates”.
Labour Members Yasmin Qureshi, Gerald Kaufman, Kate Green and Andy Slaughter were also present at the event, as was Shadow Cabinet Office minister Jon Ashworth, who added: “I think this manifesto is really important and a great initiative. I will be studying it very carefully and I will be passing it on to our Shadow Cabinet”.
The event was organised, and the manifesto presented by Azad Ali, a former civil servant in the Treasury. Ali is currently Head of Community Engagement at Muslim Engagement and Development (Mend), an anti-Islamophobia think tank and sits on the board of Unite Against Fascism as a Vice Chair.
A fascist on the board of a supposedly anti-fascist group. Interesting.
Yet he is also a known jihadist sympathiser. In 2008, ahead of the American Presidential elections, he wrote an article in which he said of Anwar al-Awlaki: “I really do love him for the sake of Allah, he has an uncanny way of explaining things to people which is endearing.”…
Ali was suspended on full pay from the Treasury for six months for blogging: “If I saw an American or British man wearing a soldier’s uniform inside Iraq I would kill him because that is my obligation. If I found the same soldier in Jordan I wouldn’t touch him. In Iraq he is a fighter and an occupier, here he is not. I respect this as the main instruction in my religion for jihad.”
That’s not a suspension. That’s a vacation.
He later lost a libel case against a newspaper who reported his comments. The judge, Mr Justice Eady, ruled that Ali “was indeed taking the position that the killing of American and British troops in Iraq would be justified”. The judge described his claim as “bound to fail” and said that Ali had an “absence of reality”.
Despite the episode, in 2010 the Telegraph reported that the Metropolitan Police were working with Ali in his role as head of the Muslim Safety Forum, despite Ali also being involved at a senior level in the Islamic Forum of Europe, an organisation dedicated to the creation of an Islamic state under Sharia law in Europe. The two organisations shared office space….

As far as Mr. Anti-Fascist Azad Ali is concerned, “It isn’t fascism when Muslims do it.”
traci94 says
“Support efforts to accurately remember Muslim and non-Muslim histories including oppressive and genocidal actions against Muslim peoples by British and European peoples”;
This whole thing makes me sick. How about efforts to accurately remember Muslim histories, including all of the acts of jihad committed throughout history up to and including today….what about acknowledging acts that are committed to the rest of the entire world every day in the name of Islam? Let’s all just turn a blind eye to that and look at how we offend Muslims. They are such whiners.
And this, ” acknowledge that the holy scripture of Muslims (the Qur’an) does not endorse terrorism and the murder of innocents.” would be an out right lie!! Muslims need to learn to acknowledge the truth!! It absolutely endorses terrorism and murder of innocents, but I guess Jews, Crusaders and infidels in general are not considered “innocent.

British people are caught between a rock and the hard place.
We have the fascist Conservatives in bed with the Islamofascists,
while the Cultural Marxists are completely enamoured with the
latter. Plus, we have organisations like the BBC (British Bullshit

screwed, big time.
When WW3, or if civil war comes first – when NOT if – it’ll be just like the
previous two world wars with the working-class Brits who have to mop
up the mess. I pray that the traitors in charge are brought to justice.
ECAW says
Fascist Conservatives? Do you even know what a fascist looks like?
Michael Warden says
Before WW II, half the Conservative Party wanted top appease Hitler – the other half wanted to get into bed with him . Thank God for Churchill ( hallf American) and the British working man.
Paul says
The Conservatives have repeatedly shown themselves to be against
free speech, such as banning Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller from
entering the the country, whilst happily allowing a hate-preaching sheikh
(“smash the skulls of infidels”) in. There’s also the ‘anti-extremism’ law
they want to implement, which would prohibit criticism of Sharia law. Just
a few examples. That’ll do for me.
Paul says
Or are those assaults on free speech not enough to qualify?
ECAW says
No, nowhere near.
Cameron is a traitor as far as I’m concerned, just as Milliband and Clegg are, but if you can’t see the difference between them and Mussolini, Franco, Salazar and the Greek generals then there’s nothing I can do to help you see it.

BNP is fascist, the others are just trying to get votes, and sell their asses in the process.
Bindon Blood says
This word “fascist”” is tossed about at anyone one wants to insult and shut up,as the equally silly word “racism” or “racist”. Can anyone actually explain what fascism is;how many people really know? Fascism and Hitlerism or National Socialism are not the same, similar but not the same. Fascism ,despite what the left want us to believe,is a manifestation of Socialism,of the left. They are anti democracy, anti free enterprise, anti free speech anti CHristianity and religion and believe in the over-arching ,all powerful state. They are supposedly working class movements and believe in taxation and wage control as a method of manipulating the economy. They are cult based with a demi god figure head. Throw into this the twisted race ideologies and nature worship and occult influences of Hitler and his acolytes and you have a very dangerous ideology indeed. The administration of the state is quango based, groups who specialise in various policies and aims with no democratic consensus, only the approval of the figure head and his trusted cronies. Italian fascism was different in some ways to National Socialism, there was little or no persecution of Jews until Hitler virtually took over the government of Italy. The left was very keen on Mussolini and had little or no criticism of National socialism until quite late. A right wing Conservative,Winston Churchill ,pointed out the dangers of Hitler. The make up and day to day operation of National Socialism particularly was much the same as Stalin’s Russia. Hitler believed in Socialism for Germany coupled with the belief than Germans were the purest race and natural leaders of the world. he had no time for international Socialism and workers of the world etc. Most National Socialist and fascists were from a communist political background. Hitler victimised and murdered the Jews, opponents and other groups considered to be undesirable,Stalin murdered the middle class, counter revolutionaries, opponents Jews and others who fell foul of the suffocating system. Very little or no difference in reality. In many respects both systems were somewhat “Islamic” in their approach to the individual.
ECAW says
A fascist is the person who is winning the argument 🙂
Paul says
OK, “fascist” may sound a bit extreme, but they’re certainly enemies
of free speech and democracy at the very least – all gradually
implemented in accordance with the decrees of their Saudi and
Qatari paymasters. True, we don’t have people comparable to
Mussolini or Franco in charge, but the treachery of the three main
political parties you rightly pointed out will ultimately have consequences
that are no less tragic.
jayell says
The BNP are ‘nationalist’, NOT ‘fascist’, and were the only people concerned about their own people and honest enough to tell it how it was when rest were pushing the hackneyed PC garbage and sitting idly by whilst the girls in their communities were systematically abused in their thousands by you-know-who. Now the cat’s out of the bag on a lot of issues we see the papers and the pundits pushing pretty well the same line that the BNP were pushing up to 14 years ago, but after all the damage has been done. Very clever!! And STILL they talk about the ‘nazi’, ‘fascist’, whatever, BNP. It really is truly PATHETIC!!!
Bindon Blood says
The BNP were and are a pathetically poisonous group of individuals, not dangerous, except in the lefty propaganda, because hardly anyone supported them. The Greens are dangerous because they hide their extreme looney lefty mindset under the camouflage of “green” environmentalism. The Scottish Nationalists are dangerous:they would destroy Britain for their left wing nationalist aims.Incidentally, the SNP are Socialist and Nationalist; rearrange to form a well known phrase or saying. Milliband is dangerous because he is a dyed in the wool Marxist, brought up to it by his Marxist father and their Marxist friends.,including the Stalin supporter Hobsbawm.
The problem with British politicians and Western politicians in general, including Obama, especially Obama,is that they have made themselves captive to a ruthless and blood thirsty totalitarian ideology. There are probably 4-5 million Muslims in Britain, mainly England. If 40% of these people support an Islamist society based on the Sharia,Koran and Muhammad that amounts to around 2000,000 Muslims who are happy to actively engage in the pursuit of an Islamic take over,in due course. This frightens the politicians to death, they know it could not be contained. Their response is to grovel and hope that if they feed the Tiger it will eat them last. This is the same all over Europe, and also partly in the US,think of Dearborn for instance to name but a few! The lies told about the nature of Islam are easy to refute, because they are not a secret.! This is why Cameron and politicians are so desperate to shut people up, if we all start exposing the truths of Islam who knows what they will do. But now is the time to expose the fraud of Islam, while we still can. Already time is short.Sweden,Belgium and Austria have laws in place that forbid saying anything that offends Islam, even though it is the truth!!. A society that is afraid of the truth and criminalises it has no where to go except perdition.
jayell says
I’ve heard some interesting theories about war in the 20th. century. One says that WW1 never really finished because it was not properly resolved, therefore WW2 was actually WW1, episode 2, and the Cold War was WW1 episode 3. Someone else said that the Cold War was actually WW3 (which could have gone nuclear with the Cuba crisis), so the next one will be WW4. Whatever we theory we chose I think it is pretty obvious that we are now already into the next World War, which could be termed the ‘Islamic War’. Perhaps we could call this ‘World War 0’ since it has in effect been going on since Mohammed’s day (about 1400 years). There were the first two periods of Islamic expansion which went up firstly as far as the Islamisation of Spain and parts of France until the muslims were repulsed, followed by the next wave when the muslims got as far as Vienna in the 1700’s before being repulsed again. Technological advances kept the West ahead of the muslims until the mid-20th. century, plus limited travel facilities helped to keep muslims in their territories until affordable air and sea travel became available. With the increasing global demand for oil, financial resources began to flow faster into the Muslim world, accelerated by the OPEC-inspired artificial oil crisis of the 1970’s. Middle eastern Islamic regimes could now begin to infiltrate the West financially, followed by increased migration from Islamic countries into Europe. In the UK the problem was compounded by left-wing policies and ‘multiculturalism’ which allowed muslims to establish their religious and cultural bases and continue to infiltrate society without resistance. Thus we now have a fully-fledged ‘invasion’ situation with muslims behaving like ill-disciplined invading forces (e.g., in the muslim sex-gang scenario, where they are behaving like an invading medieval excuse for army, raping and pillaging, and in their ‘acquisition’ of ‘muslim areas’ where they attempt to impose sharia law) and, on a higher level, in the infiltration of the media, legal institutions and police, and the corridors of power. As long as we try to pretend that these muslims are merely amenable fellow-citizens with a few bad apples, they will eventually reach their goal and take the place over. If we recognise them for what they are – a hostile invading fifth column intent on achieving their long-term goal of global jihad – we have a chance to treat them as the enemy they are and take appropriate action. (It’s interesting to note that Hitler tried this sort of thing before WW2).

I have the perfect book to use as a high school textbook that should suit that purpose: “The Legacy of Jihad – Islamic Holy War and the fate of Non-Muslims” Edited by Andrew G. Bostom. That should be coupled with “Crucified Again: Islam’s New War on Christians” by Raymond Ibrahim to bring us right up to recent history. And, of course, the basic texts of Islam. As long as all those texts are included during a high-schooler’s career, I reckon the Muslim’s can offer what they will in telling history their way.

Absolutely. I have many of Robert’s books and have encouraged others to read what he has to say.
Sadly, because of the traitorous Blair and others since, who opened British borders to all and sundry and further compounded the crime by creating a Border Agency not fit for purpose; to governments who were anxious to cut costs so they decimated our armed forces and our police; and our craven media who blatantly buy into the Muslim demands for exceptionalism and sympathy, we are dead people walking. The British public were never asked if they wanted to be subsumed in their own country, and have its customs and values dispensed with in favour of sycophantic overtures to a cult that clearly despises everything we stand for.
It’s blogs like these that offer a way to the get the message out there. Well done, Robert Spencer.

Just an explanation for non UK readers. Azad was not addressing parliament he was speaking in the House of Lords to a group of MPs and peers.(aka lords). This is not to downplay the seriousness of the occasion not to mention its arrogance, but just to clarify he was not addressing the house of parliament.
I am sure his proposals will not be embraced by the major parties as it would be the equivalent of shooting themselves in the foot as far as the electorate is concerned. They already think that Muslims get far too many concessions

Yes, what did the British Empire ever do for all those other races and nations…..apart from education, sanitation, good administration, a decent legal system, democracy, roads, raiways and that great civilising influence cricket?
Those nations which held on to those, like India, have prospered. Those which didn’t haven’t. Perhaps you’d like to see Kenya, for instance, still populated by sparse tribes scratching a living from the land, constantly on the lookout for lions and Arab slaving gangs.

I don’t think it’s some divine punishment or any such nonsense, god has better things to do I think like create another galaxy, though I don’t claim to speak for god of course, that would be hubris of the highest order, since I am a just a humble peasant, but the British Empire did a lot of horrible things as well. As an American who is in large part of Irish heritage, my family has first hand experience, and due to the noble British Empire came to America because of it. The Scots would also disagree.
ECAW says
Every power does many horrible things but as far as I understand the British Empire was more benign than most. It didn’t practise later genocidal programmes as the Germans did in SW Africa or really ravage their colonies with little or no positive input like the Belgians in the Congo.
I don’t think the Scots suffered at the hands of the British Empire (I presume you’re talking about the earlier Highland clearances at the hands of the English). In fact they were over-represented in its doings, to the great benefit of Canada and New Zealand. If you want to bring up Ireland why not mention the Black and Tans (Scottish)? Anyway you got your revenge with Noraid. Even then, I believe the potato famine was a fairly complicated affair with a the involvement of Irish landlords as well as English.
jayell says
“I don’t think the Scots suffered at the hands of the British Empire”… I don’t believe I actually read THAT, unless someone’s trying to be funny. The Scots were a MAJOR PART of the British Empire because the Scots have been politically ‘British’ since the famous Act of Union in 1701 (or was in 1709?), which came about largely because the Scots bankrupted themselves as a result of failed Empire-building exercise of their own. Since which time (and even before the Act) they’ve had more than their fair share of control of ‘British’ (and Empire) matters even up to this very day. Any suggestion that the Scots suffered ‘at the hands of the British Empire’ is about as daft as saying the Californians suffered at the hands of the Americans! And as for all this ‘evil British Empire’ business, perhaps someone had better ask all those millions of clearly misguided people in the Commonwealth why they’re apparently still so enthusiastic about their links with the ‘nasty’ British, and indeed why new countries have joined? And I could go on. PS. It might be a good idea for people your side of the pond to watch what they say, because there’s more and more people THIS side of the pond who aren’t so sure about what’s so ‘special’ about the so-called ‘special relationship’.

Well, ECAW, much as I would like to believe this is a genuine crackdown, my natural cynicism makes me wonder why this has been published so close to the General Election.
If camoron, God forbid, gets in again, what’s the betting this is simply dropped, as was the promise for a referendum on the EU ?
camoron still wants London to be the islamic finance capital of the world, he still wants Turkey in the EU, and Robert and Pamela are still banned from the UK, so colour me sceptical.
But I will *hope* that my cynicism is unjustified.
ECAW says
Yes Mirren10, I tend to agree. We don’t know the half of it, or even a tenth – like this business of the report on the Muslim Brotherhood, as if the security services don’t know their inside leg measurements already. Why they and Tizb-ut-Tahrir are allowed to run around free in Britain given their openly stated intentions is a mystery to me, but then so is most of it.

Mr Saleem was actually killed three weeks before the Rigby attack. Mend is the new name for a group, Iengage, which was removed as administrative support to the all-party parliamentary group on Islamophobia for its links to extremism. “

“Despite the episode, in 2010 the Telegraph reported that the Metropolitan Police were working with Ali in his role as head of the Muslim Safety Forum” – ‘Muslim Safety Forum???’ – What the HELL is THAT? Are they seriously claiming that they have a safety issue in the UK? If so, they can only need protection from their own kind, since no one else much is throwing explosives around or otherwise causing death, destruction and wholesale sadistic sexual abuse of females, and otherwise generally wrecking the joint and ruining people’s lives. And what’s all that about a ‘Muslim Manifesto’ that apparently all the MP’s need to see? It would be totally irrelevant to over 96% of the UK population, who certainly would never ever vote for anything of the like.

A muslim Manifesto is a lot like the Communist Manifesto, actually the Communist Manifesto is a much more noble piece of work when compared to the muslim variety.

A number of politicians foolishly attended. Rooms are available for hire when not required by the legislature. Good business practice and I am sure that rooms are probably available for hire at Congress and the Senate also without ever implicating your Government either. It so happens that Geert Wilders was intended to address a private meeting in the same location when he was declared personna non grata.Looks like Azad Ali slipped under the net on this occasion. Possibly because he is heavily involved with UAF which the leaders of the 3 main political parties rather foolishly support.
