Jihad Watch

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Jihad Watch: Among the most attacked sites on the Internet

May 11, 2015 8:06 am By Robert Spencer

sucuri-Daniel Cid, the Chief Technical Officer of the web security firm Sucuri, has informed me that of the thousands of websites his company protects, including sites much bigger than this one, Jihad Watch is by far the most frequently attacked:

Here at Sucuri we protect thousands of websites through our enterprise Website Firewall. One of the most disruptive attacks we see are known as Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks. These attacks are designed to disrupt the service and take down a website by overloading it with fake requests and making it inaccessible to everyone else.

Jihad Watch is one of those thousands of websites we help protect, and by far the most attacked we have in our network. It is targeted daily, by massive and large scale DDoS attempts that exceed 100Gbps of traffic on most days.

What is interesting is that DDoS attacks usually last for a few hours, up to days and go away. However, Jihad Watch has been under multiple, daily attacks, for more than a year (ranging from distributed advanced SYN floods, HTTP GET Floods, DNS/SSDP/NTP amplification attacks and many others).

Daniel Cid
CTO
Sucuri, Inc.

Denial of Service (DoS) Attack in the context of Jihad Watch really means Denial of Freedom of Speech. It is the only response our enemies can use against the site, as they cannot refute what we say on the facts. They know what we say is true, and they hate that. In their authoritarianism and intellectual bankruptcy, they resort to trying to silence us. Islamic supremacists and Leftists always try to silence truth-tellers, as evidenced by their fabrication and use of the propaganda smear term “Islamophobe,” and by their attacking a free speech event with AK47’s.

The fact that Jihad Watch has now made top spot of most cyber-attacked sites being protected by Sucuri (an industry leader in website security) vividly demonstrates that what we say is otherwise unassailable, and that the enemies of freedom are desperate — and as thuggish on the Net as they are in the real world.

All satisfied jihadwatchers who can only visit and read and learn and comment and interact at this site because of the protection Sucuri provides should be enthusiastically recommending ‘Sucuri’ by word of mouth and on social media as and when opportunity presents.

Muhammad was no Prophet. He was a sexual deviate with a reprobate mind.

      Romans 1, 22-32
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Congratulations to SUCURI for helping to keep freedom alive. This is vitally important as authoritarians around the world try to shut down freedom of expression our most important freedom.

“authoritarianism and intellectual bankruptcy” are words we should be communicating to Muslims every day.

We must speak those words to them to help them start using critical thought.

It means that Jihad Watch, and it’s Readers, ARE exposing the TRUTH about Islam and Muslims.

People are “Wising Up”, and Islam’s Taqiyya and Kitman, islamic Lying and Deception, known as the “Grand Deception” is NOT quite working for Islam as Islam and Muslims had hoped.

BTW, I had thought that Bare Naked Islam (BNI), was the “Most Attacked”, but it seems that Jihad Watch is doing a VERY GOOD job at exposing the Truth about what the “Blood Thirsty”, Death to the Infidel, and Death to ANYTHING NOT Islam, sick Islamic Butchers are doing.

If one does an IP lookup by URL, Pam Geller’s site is also redirected from SUCURI. Her site now seems to stay up so I’m guessing she recently went to SECURI. Because of the redirection her site cannot be reached directly by IP address or attacked bypassing DNS.

SECURI looks like a valuable service for any site likely to be attacked.

This is a remarkable vindication of the impact of Jihad Watch on the world.

It is also a strong recommendation for Sucuri that you can stay up and running with only a few hiccups visible to us along the way.

That such overwhelming criminal endeavors are being launched against a site that only deals with facts and the truth about Islam speaks volumes. There is a lot of money, time, resources and effort here. It is clearly being bankrolled by likely multiple sources. No doubt there are the usual suspects of CAIR, Saudi Arabia, Iran, the Islamic State, Pakistan, to name a few. Recent exposure of leading terror sponsor Qatar has probably lead to some. Also some shadowy left-fascist self-proclaimed “freedom fighter” organizations who are exactly the opposite. And of course a variety of self-appointed left-fascist hackers who think “they’s doing the right thing” from their mom’s basement.

My question is: What is the Obama administration doing about these terrorist attacks?

The Ummah views this conflict from a military perspective, I believe our side should as well. The battlefield is a lot different than traditional battlefields, and is a perfect example of the modern battlefield or 4th generation warfare. We are losing badly and I wonder how many see it. That’s not to say the situation can not reverse itself, since like in any war, the battlefield is ever changing, but as it stands now we are losing. We focus on the trees in the war on terror, but ignore the forest. I view the war on terror is a tactical engagement, not a strategic one. I honestly feel we need to adjust our tactics and revise some strategies in dealing with this issue. Part of waging a successful war is being able to adapt, ironically this is also part of survival itself, adapting to a changing environment. I feel we are not doing this at all, and at great peril to us all.

A man is often judged by his enemies. If a bunch of genocidal madmen are after you, you must be doing something right. Congrats on your accomplishment. You and Pamela need to start a contest similar to the one Gimli and Leoglas had in The Lord of the Rings. Who can get the highest bounty on them, or who can get more fatwas issued against them. I’m actually curious does such a stat exist? Think of it like fantasy football even. You could assign points to the caliber of the fatwa issued or the bounty, and at the end of the year the winner buys the other one dinner or something.

    May 11, 2015 at 10:26 am

One of the most disruptive attacks we see are known as Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks.

A much worse form of distributed denial of service attack is Western politics, by which we’re denied public recognition of the direct threat to freedom deployed against us by Moslemism, and are left with no policy to thwart it. If a country can’t name and enemy, it can’t resist it. Instead, we not only deny ourselves protections putatively guaranteed us by law, we actively import more enemies and give them financial aid to set up shop here in our homeland. The current plan is to bring in tens of thousands more Moslem refugees from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

As Fitzgerald once asked, refugees from what, themselves?

    • RonaldB says

      May 11, 2015 at 11:38 am

Yes, you’re quite right, Alarmed Pig Farmer,

We’re a democratic country, susceptible to political factions. The more Muslim immigrants who come in and vote, the weaker our political defenses will be. It’s pretty simple: politicians respond to votes and money. If they don”t, they are put out of office.

As long as Muslim immigrants continue entering the country, we’re losing the war. There’s no way around that conclusion.

Almost daily we read about atrocities committed by Muslims against other Muslims for engaging in some activity that is deemed “un-Islamic.” Much of what is deemed un-Islamic has to do with high-tech and even basic low tech such as movies, cell phones and transistor radios. But the jihadists don’t have any problem with using super high-tech stuff themselves like denial of service attacks.

Every now and then I have got a message from Sucuri, but I didn’t know what it was till now…

To make a short story out of a real long one…My objective is the kill Allah, and kill Mahound again or as many times as necessary. Sort of an anti-jihadist Van Helsing, driving a stake into the evil heart of Allah…That liar Gabriel is next…

    • Wellington says

      May 11, 2015 at 5:52 pm

With respect, duh_swami, Gabriel wasn’t a liar, only Mohammed was. Even Allah wasn’t a liar because he doesn’t exist and was just Mohammed’s sock puppet.

Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I don’t think Gabriel exits either since I am not religious but someone who doesn’t exist can’t lie. But someone who did exist (well maybe), who lived in the seventh century in Arabia and who was from the Quraysh tribe and went by the name of Mohammed definitely lied———again and again and again, or, in the alternative, was so delusional that he actually believed his own lies (reasonable minds can differ here as to which one is the case).

All part of the reason why I can never be chalked up as an anti-Gabrielite but most definitely why I can be accurately described as an anti-Mohammedite, and may Dante’s take on this SOB be accurate (and I don’t even belive in Hell but I would definitely make an exception here for Mohammed could I).

Hope you’re doing well, duh_swami, and having a Muslim-free day.

          May 12, 2015 at 12:42 pm

If I am understanding the word, ‘dummy’, I have used my regular address, which shows how long I have been posting, however, my server is duck/duck, which is a recent addition for hopeful private, safety purposes. Either way, I am convinced no matter what we do to be cautious, in the end our whereabouts are both known, or can be known if wanted.

        • ECAW says

          May 12, 2015 at 1:18 pm

By “dummy” I just meant a fake email address, one which doesn’t identify you.

I looked up Duck/Duck and found only DuckDuckGo which is a search engine rather than a proxy server. Perhaps I’ve misunderstood but if not then…. a proxy server hides the IP Address which uniquely identifies your computer. It’s the most important thing for keeping anonymous. You can download Zenmate then more or less forget it. It switches itself on when you sign onto Internet Explorer or Firefox or whatever you use (though I’m not sure it works on everything. It’s not that long ago that they got it to work on Firefox).

That said, I tend to agree with you that if the security services really took an interest in you they’d track you down but I’d hope proxy servers keep your average unwanted snooper at bay.

It really depends how far you want to take your privacy and security, these guys won’t put you on a bad path https://ssd.eff.org/.

do you need a proxy or VPN to view or comment, actually I don’t think so, only if you fear the government and its agencies to know what you are saying and reading, and even then you can’t be sure.

i do use VPNs for other security reasons, but those aren’t them.

“Are you saying that it’s of no benefit to use a proxy server on this site specifically”, yes, infact proxies are often blocked by me for security reasons.

“widely”, yes, you might need them for those reasons,

“identify your location from your IP Address” well, down to your city maybe, but not to a zip/post code. could get some ddos or hacking attempts if you are logged by the wrong person. so yes, unfriendly sites, use a proxy.

Ever since then I’ve been stalked by legions of hackers. and god knows who else at this point. The moral of the story, friends don’t let friends do politics drunk. Though I was rather new to commenting on politics, I never knew it was such a high risk and contact sport. Though I’d imagine considering how the islamic state and other jihadists tend to try hacking this site constantly, security on this site is much better than most. From what I’ve gathered it was a small time prank that morphed into something much larger. They have everything from my SS# to my address. I had some jokers back when this first broke tell me to pay my taxes, and bragged about hacking my emails. They also used a phishing attack hijacking my email and sending out links that installed malware or Trojans to my contacts.

A concern I have is due to being involved in political activism against islam, in my own way, if some joker won’t get the idea of sending my personal info to some of the crazies out there for laughs. Granted I’m a random nobody and they might not even care due to me being a nobody, but still it’s an uncomfortable feeling.

As I said when this nonsense happened I was new to the whole commenting on politics thing, and naive. Though from my understanding I have many enemies at this point, though as I said there are so many unknowns to my situation. I’m still amazed truth be told, how a random nobody has such a crazy thing happen, that’s life I guess.

The invisible cyber-nerds of an outfit like “Sucuri” are every bit as important as that cop with his gun in Garland, Texas.

That cop and his colleagues made possible an actual event: a Draw Muhammad art exhibit, with speakers and attendees.

Sucuri makes it possible for concerned and alarmed – or curious and vaguely-worried – Infidels from all over the world to get together here at Jihadwatch, in cyberspace, and discuss and network and bounce ideas off each other and instruct and warn each other.
