In the following video, Hanne Nabintu, historian of religions, interviews me on the history of Islam and the West. Topics include the original (but forgotten) Arab conquests, the (demonized) Crusades, and why the modern West’s notion of “history” is immensely skewed.

in Islam?….this man can tell you…..He is a TITAN scholar of Islam.

I agree, Raymond Ibrahim is a Titan. Experts like Robert Spencer, Raymond Ibrahim, Steve Coughlin who have studied the Koran and Islamic doctrines seem to have come to similar understandings. Still many national leaders relied on the Muslim Brotherhood Representatives, leftists Islamic leaders and much was left out especially about the Crusades. Now that the experts have defined critical words and can give reliable information about the true meanings and goals to establish the Caliphate, the puzzle of the Middle East and it’s chronic wars make sense. Thank you to all the scholars who are speaking truthfully in a dangerous time once again.

Islam is at war with critical thought and the Golden Rule, the foundations of European civilization. These are not just the bases of Europe, but are universal principles that were discovered and studied in Western universities.
We who understand what civilization is, have a duty to defend it. The Leftarded cultural Marxists are participating in our destruction with the help of their exotic pets the 7th century, Bronze-Age-culture, bearded, mask-wearing warriors.

There is no war between islam and Europe. There never was and there never will be since islam is a fundamental part of the fabric of Europe. At least, judging by the reaction of European leaders, who are seemingly oblivious to nearly 1400 years of aggression and wars against Europe. The invasion of the Iberian Peninsula, the sacking of Rome, Navas de Tolosa, Vienna, Malta, Lepanto, Vienna again, just to name a few – the ideology that drove the invaders back then remains the same as the ideology dominating the islamic world nowadays. And that won’t change just because a crop of “enlightened” European leaders are too busy squeezing their carotid arteries with their anal sphincter to take notice. As far as the islamic world is concerned, the war rages on, even if by other means. Ignoring it is probably the worst possible reaction.

Ok,
I’ll express my admiration to Ibrahim staying focused and on-track when being interviewed by a beauty like Hanne Nabintu.
As far as what he says and the scholarship he and others reflect: my impression is that so-called “leaders” like Obama, Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State Kerry, and CIA chief Brennan simply don’t care. Facts and history don’t affect them because they literally don’t care. These people are operating in a different reality, and our reality of morality, conscience, and a genuine concern for the future of our country and our people…our reality does not touch them. There is no “magic” piece of information which will change their minds.
The critical act came in October 2011 when the White House directed that no mention of Islam could occur in counter-terror training taken by any US security or law-enforcement personnel.

Now, of course, almost all Jihad Watch readers are acutely aware of this. But, it proves that facts, logic, or sense of duty are simply not the coin with which the US government is presently operating. Any change has to come from organizing and political pressure from beneath. There is NO argument which will change the direction of the leadership, other than political self-interest (and maybe financial self-interest).

Thank you so much for the link, Talal. You can go straight off to the Koran, and in the first page, first verses, first sura, you can see already what a sick, stupid “book” the Koran is. It’s viciousness is matched only by its lack of coherency. No wonder Muslims have to have endless commentaries and explanations to have any idea what the Koran means, other than to hate non-believers.
Some people say that Islam has produced very few Nobel prize winners in science because Islam discourages scientific inquiry. I’ll put forward another hypothesis: after reading the Koran, your brain rots simply because you had to go through something so stupid.

As for those who disbelieve-it is the same for them, whether you have warned them, or have not warned them-they do not believe.
God has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. They will have a severe torment.
Among the people are those who say, “We believe in God and in the Last Day,” but they are not believers.
9 They seek to deceive God and those who believe, but they deceive none but themselves, though they are not aware.
10 In their hearts is sickness, and God has increased their sickness. They will have a painful punishment because of their denial.
11 And when it is said to them, “Do not make trouble on earth,” they say, “We are only reformers.”
12 In fact, they are the troublemakers, but they are not aware.

Another “balancing factor” and commonality between Islamic conquest and the Christian Crusades is that both groups butchered countless defenseless Jewish communities.
