SNL skit depicts fear of drawing Muhammad

It’s funny, yes, but it isn’t really a parody or a lampoon at all. Most people today would be terrified to draw Muhammad, even for a million dollars. The aftermath of the jihad attack at our cartoon exhibit has shown the world that violent intimidation and threats work.

  1. It says “The uploader has not made this video available in your country”. Really? I am in Canada! This is the second time today that this has happened to me, what gives?

    • It happened to me, too. In Canada! I did overcome that restriction by using free proxy “hide.me” and thus “pretending” to be somewhere else.

  4. Notice that even in the skit, they never touched pen to paper. SNLis not about to go through a jihad. Theyt managed to create a parody without actually breaking sharia law. Way to go, SNL.

    • Meanwhile, they demonstrated that Sharia law is absurd, so THAT is still a breach of Sharia law requiring a death sentence.

      Any mockery of Islam, per se, is ‘IMPERMISSIBLE’. The life of the mocker is ipso facto forfeit and any Muslim can kill him.

      ‘Mentioning something impermissible’ about Islam is the phrase.

      They did mention something impermissible, so they must be killed and repentance is not allowed.

      MUSLIMS MUST KNOW THAT WE THINK THEY ARE ALL ABSURD for believing that insanity!

  5. For whatever my opinion is worth, I think SNL did a good job making fun of the whole ridiculousness surrounding the Islamist sentiment that nobody should draw “The Prophet Muhammad”. One of several definitions of the word “parody” is: “Something so bad as to be equivalent to intentional mockery”. Islam and its prophet Muhammad are bad, and SNL did a good thing by showing the fear and paranoia of this whole subject. I say “Yay for SNL”.

      Muslims did not respond en masse to the Geller-Spencer cartoon festival.

I read the article, then tried to post a comment, but got a message that said “Not allowed”. So i waited several seconds, then tried again.         Agree Mortimer and this SNL skit, I believe is a major milestone in that loss.

        I would have loved to have seen the look on Bill O’reilly’s and Laura Ingraham’s faces when they saw this skit. They chose the wrong issue to sell out to their Muslim bosses on this one (apparently Saudi Arabia owns 20% of Fox News).

        This issue is an absolutely no-brainer that even the far left people at SNL got right. And it is impossible for me to believe that Billy-boy doesn’t know what is the correct side of this issue. That just proves he is a dishonest shill who can viciously attack people like Pamela even though he knows she is absolutely correct. And why does he do it? For the money, of which he already has plenty. Disgusting.

        • Yes not only did O’reilly know that Pamela was on “the right side” but also how incredibly important this issue is not only to this country but to the world. One of the most important issues in the history of mankind. People are dying and being raped everyday. And O’reilly and Ingraham still sold out. Two of the most disgusting people on the planet. Period.

          If we couldn’t have ridiculed Hitler and his Aryan race theories, we would have lost WWII. Islam is not a religion, it is an evil military cult.

        • Roger Ailes told all the show hosts that he was instructed by the Muslim shareholder of Fox that Islam must never be blamed, and must always be prefaced by “Radical” Islam.

          I don’t think Sean Hannity is stupid, but he and others have their hands tied and jobs threatened to mislead America into believing the BS that it’s a “tiny minority of extremists hijacking an otherwise great and noble religion.” And if we could just get rid of those bad minority, we can then live in peace with the “vast majority of peaceful Muslims.”

          At least Sean, and to some extent Megyn, and even Judge Jeneane are starting to speack their minds, and more and more are speaking about Islam, vs. “Radical” Islam.

          If this is such a problem with FoxNews, they need to drop that Muslim shareholder, and only allow owners who have no problem speaking the truth to America.

          We’re at war. Most reasonable people depend on FoxNews for info. They shouldn’t be misleading us simply to appease some damned Muslim shareholder. Get rid of that POS now, so the talking heads can speak unrestricted.
