It is relevant to point out here that much of Spencer’s speech has been carried over the medium of the Internet, and that in the last year two moves were made that directly threaten that freedom. The first was to cut loose ICANN for no apparent reason from American control to an as yet unnamed multinational body. The second, more recent, move was to give the FTC regulatory control over the Internet in the United States.
Two unbroken clocks fixed, both to increase government control over the Internet. It is not conspiracy theory mongering to say that the future of freedom over the Internet is under immediate threat. We need the Internet as an antidote to other mass media increasingly unfriendly to freedom. Two media in particular stand out here as unfriendly to freedom: TV and the education complex, the latter run by the globo-socialist union brothers and sisters at the NEA and the AFT.
I was shocked last night to learn that the blogs operated by Spencer and Geller spew hate speech. Given that the Internet is to come under gubmint control over the next two years, it is not hysterical to wonder whether Jihadwatch and Atlas Shrugs will be shut down for violating regulations enacted to keep the peace with the Unicorns, a billion strong cohort that is misunderstood and placed on the list of Endangered Species protected by the… federal gubmint.

Hopefully, a new audience will learn about the necessity of counterjihad and the seriousness of the jihad threat. Hopefully, this will be a breakthrough in public awareness.

Hi Robert,
I’ve watched all the videos I have been able to on this event and I’ve noticed that CNN are trying to push the idea that there exists a line between free speech and provocative speech. It would be great if you could shut down this idea from the get go. There exists no line because as Pamela said who decides what provocative speech is. It really would be good if this ‘line’ idea is just thoroughly dismissed as it should be. Keep stressing there is no line. Acts17Aplogetics has just down a video on this very subject.
Best wishes and stay safe

Megalomaniacal Muslims seeking world domination by violent means have surely earned a few cartoons of the same caliber as the Bush/Hitler and Bush/Ape cartoons. Indeed they deserve to be portrayed as the ultimate super villain in two centuries worth good guy fights bad guy movies.

Robert the word slander is understood to mean untruthful or mean, when we both know that in Islam slander is saying truthful statements which will expose the ideology of Islam…you also know all the quotes that will prove your comments. The public is very unaware of the verses in the Koran and that even truth is considered slander to a muslim. They tried to make you look as though you just want to infuriate and cause violence which is untrue. Hamsay is following the verses that allow muslims to deceive to advance their ideology.
CAIR only wants to silence…free speech.

Bare with me here because I am going to use words like “deserve” and earn in this explanation.
Robert Spencer and his “crowd” would most certainly deserved to have been killed by the sincere followers of the false prophet during this Free Speech event IF (and that is a capital IF) they embraced the anti intellectual industry’s position that Islam is benign and has no meaning outside of peacefully munching on sandwiches. By anti intellectual industry I mean the public school system, academia from the most obscure colleges to the most prestigious universities, the media, both news and entertainment, and political sphere. This industry prepared and began dominating our culture long before Islam began taking advantage of its effect. Some how, Robert, Pamela and crowd, either by cultural resistance or strength of personal character have grown up largely unscathed by the industry’s conditioning. They were intellectual enough to know and accept what Islam teaches. Following that intellectual choice to its only logical conclusion they prepared with solid security around the event.
These security measures would not have been necessary for an identical event taking place sixty years ago. They are necessary now because supporters of the false prophet make up a tiny minority within our territory. That minority is here as a result of that anti-intellectual industry’s effect on our culture. That tiny minority is able to bring down marvels of technology, engineering, industry, and trade. It is able to threaten and subdue a massive portion of our population.
I believe that it was in “A Man” that Oriana Fallaci said Liberty isn’t just a Right but a Duty. If ever there was an ideology more deserving and in desperate need of criticism and exposure than our own anti-intellectual industry’s, it is Islam with its false prophet. It is our Duty to support all others’ Duty to Free Speech. If we are not determined to earn our Rights we will deserve to lose them. I don’t care how many of Bill O’Reilly’s babies are killed as a result of it. Absence of war at the expense of Individual Rights is not peace.
