Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Al Azhar distributing free book dedicated to discrediting Christianity, the “failed religion”

Jun 9, 2015 5:16 am By Raymond Ibrahim

alazhar_Al Azhar—arguably the Islamic world’s most prestigious Islamic university—continues to incite Egypt’s Muslims against Christians.  Most recently the university was exposed distributing a free booklet dedicated to discrediting Christianity, chock full of direct attacks on Christianity in general and the nation’s Coptic Christians in particular.

Christianity is referred to as a “failed religion,” while Islam  is hailed as the true and superior religion.

Because the “seeds of weakness” are inherent in Christianity and the Bible, says the booklet, Islam was easily able to supplant it in the Middle East.

Historians believe the Arab invasion of Syria and Persia would have failed had they tried it 20 years later. The Byzantine and Persian courts were both simultaneously politically in disarray in the late 7th century. The Arab raiders met little resistance and no countermeasures knocked them out once established. It was a lucky moment for the Arabs, that’s all. No trace of ‘Islam’ existed. It was a bunch of brigands, similar to the Vikings…think of Vikings on camels.

        You have good information.

The accounts I read say that both the Byzantines and the Persians were exhausted from fighting each other.

The same thing happened in Greece. Sparta and Athens carried out continual warfare. Finally, Phillip of Macedon, a minor province, was able to sweep up the entire Greek region.

The United States now is build on a fragile structure. Our entire communications systems, our transportation, our electrical grid, our financial institutions…all are based on electronic technology which is extremely vulnerable to simple electro-magnetic pulses. Our government is becoming increasingly centralized, with virtually unlimited authority going to the executive in cases of emergency and very fuzzy provisions to limit the powers of an executive who decides to keep power.

Our civil defense is virtually non-existent. There are no shelters, no food or medical provisioning, and no civilian hardening of electronic communications.

So, if we get into a conflict with a strong opponent like Russia or China…we become even more vulnerable than we are. We already have a strong presence Muslims, who are well-organized into multiple groups and organizations, most of them under the Muslim Brotherhood or funding sources in Saudi Arabia or Qatar.

Islam is an opportunistic infection. I remember a line from the TV series “Columbo”. As near as I remember: “You’re smarter than I am. But, remember this: I can keep on making mistakes, but all I need is for you to make one mistake.”

That’s a laugh, considering that it’s the islamic state who allows raping little children, has been brutally slaughtering innocents and is on a warpath. All according to islamic history and tradition.

I think a failed religion is a religion with many of its followers fighting n killing each other as happens in the ME on a grand scale and has produced millions of starving refugees. Yes, this religion is superior in mob justice, suicide bombings, wife-beating, child-marriages, honor-killing, apostate-killing, tribal warfare n bullying of the minority fellow human.

Exactly. The Muslim Brotherhood experiment of ‘pure Islam’ is what failed…everyone in Egypt knows that Islam has failed…failed to produce any answer except 7th century barbarism!

This foolish pamphlet is trying to distract people from the overall failure of Islam which is even more abundantly clear when they look at the spectacular failure of ISIS.

The only thing Islam proposes is discriminatory, misogynistic Sharia law. Sharia is an obvious, flagrant failure bringing poverty, barbarism, ignorance, disease and backwardness.

    • somehistory says

      Jun 9, 2015 at 4:53 pm

Absolutely. A *religion* or *faith* should lift the human up, to be a better person, kinder, more loving and understanding. If the religion teaches its adherents to kill, rape, etc. and to be the worst of all humans can produce in themselves, it has failed. But this is exactly what islam does because it originates from satan. Worship of the beast, the dragon, satan couldn’t be any worse than is islam.

This is the difference between islam, a false religion of satan, and Christianity, the true faith revealed from Our Father in Heaven. For when satan tried to tempt our Lord for the third time, he offered Him power over all kingdoms on earth, yet our Lord rejected such worldly temptation. In another instance Jesus said, that His Kingdom is not of this world. Saint Paul referred to satan as the “god of this world”. Yet islamic doctrine exhorts its followers to amass as much worldly power as possible. Islam even sees the accumulation of worldly power as evidence of its followers triumph. This is proof that islam truly is a satanic religion.

Al Azhar referring to “Christianity is referred to as a “failed religion,” while Islam is hailed as the true and superior religion”, IS the TYPICAL “Grand Deception” of Islam.
    Islam:

    1. Ues the “Grand Deception” of Taqyyia and Kitman to advance the cause Islam to gain the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.

    2. Referring to Islam as a “Religion” is a misnomer, Islam IS an “Ideology”, and a total system of life and contains within itself a particular social system, judicial system, and political system which includes geo-political aspirations – the conquest and administration of territory. Islam is REALLY the “Religion of World Domination, Territorial Acquisition and HATE”, plus Islam is NOT a “Race”.

    3. Islam does NOT represent “Peace”, much less a “Religion of Peace”, as Islamic Scholars and ISIS Caliph’s themselves state “There are NO “Moderate Muslims”, the Term Moderate Islam is an Insult to Islam, Islam was never a religion of peace, Islam is the religion of fighting”.

”Every single article on this site is aimed at discrediting Islam is it not?”

Nope. It’s aimed at publicising the atrocities committed by muslims according to the tenets and commands of their islamic ‘faith’, which the msm rarely publishes, and if they do, suggests these atrocities are the fault of non-muslims for ‘provoking’ muslims.

islam does an excellent job of discrediting itself. All Mr Spencer has to do is report what muslims do.

”You feel the need to express moral indignation because Al Azhar did (in your eyes) what you do everyday to Islam.”

Do *you* feel the need to express any moral indignation over what is being done to Coptic Christians in Egypt, by muslims ? Done to Christians throughout the ME, by muslims ?

” … chock full of direct attacks on Christianity in general and the nation’s Coptic Christians in particular.” Coptic Christians are being **murdered and attacked every day** by pious muslims acting on the dictates of the koran.

      Obviously not.

” … Al Azhar did (in your eyes) what you do everyday to Islam.”

Robert Spencer publishes articles describing the **actions and atrocities perpetrated by muslims according to the mandates and commands of the koran, hadiths, and sira.

Do you see Mr Spencer murdering, raping, torturing muslims ? According to the mandates and commands of the Christian Bible ?

You must be a muslim or a muslim apologist, since you are clearly unable to see the illogic and sheer blind stupidity of your remarks.

Al Azhar is arguing from the military victories of Islam. Angemon used the same argument against Islam. Expressing a viewpoint is not wrong, but supporting and defending is another. The text from Al Azhar is like a proud, but weak opponent inviting a stronger contender to defeat him.

Someone should analyze their pamphlet and explode it. It should be easy to debunk…Islamic arguments are normally based on fallacies and bad interpretations, if not on invented ‘facts’.

Islam is the most egregious obscurantism based on a series of circular arguments and the ever-present fallacy of force instead of reasoned argumentation.

Is that why Mekka has been protected by the “failed” Christian West and still doesn’t belong to Iran? Is that why the Renaissance brought advancements from Christian nations that the ME can buy? Is that why a Jewish-led team of Christians created the Atomic Bomb in less than three years while Iran has been “3 years from a bomb” for the past 10 years? Where was that cell phone and C4 developed? Where do your despotic leaders fly when having serious health problems?

Quran 3:110 –“Ye are the best of Peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had Faith(in Allah)…”

For some reason “the best of peoples” in the Middle East are being held back by a mysterious force, a dark force named — Islam.

The evidence is stark, Islamic nations are dysfunctional, and, discounting oil wealth, science and productive commerce failures.

A question remaining is: How long and how many deaths will be required for all the World to recognize that Islam is intellectually weak, inherently violent, and unfit for the progressive nations that will never accept it’s dysfunction?

Another question is: how long before Muslims realize there is no future for Islam?

There is an admirable humility built into the Christian theological blueprint that is completely absent in the Islamic theological blueprint. This significant difference has a corollary effect which I would articulate as follows, with due regards extended to Lao-Tzu for inspiration here: Those who boast do not know; those who know do not boast.

Islam produces boasters by the bushel full—-and with threats, if not downright heinous actions, often accompanying the boasts. By contrast, Christians, while convinced theirs is the true faith (who would believe in a religion if they didn’t think so?), produce many who attest to its veracity and efficacy but, with very few exceptions, with nothing like the obnoxious boasting, preening, threatening and harming that Muzzies engage in regularly, which for me functions as just one more reason to look upon Christianity as a far superior religion to Islam.

I mean only a very confused person (this would include all Muslims and, unfortunately, not a small number of non-Muslims) would assert that the world would be much better off if all Christians converted to Islam rather than the other way around. I am certain that not a single regular commenter here at JW who grasps how profoundly troubling many Islamic doctrines are, regardless of their religious convictions or lack thereof, would disagree with me here.

Wellington – While I am a lapsed Episcopalian who found many years ago a new ethical guide or “religion” in Plato’s “forms” – the good, the true and the beautiful – I have always thought Christianity a fine religion, useful for establishing and encouraging some ethical and moral baselines for peoples of the world, even though I am incapable of making the required “leap of faith” myself. Islam, a theocracy which cannot be compared with Christianity as a like entity, on the other hand, has struck me as destructive to human freedom, cruel, misogynistic, toxic, violent and repugnant since I first started to investigate the Qur’an and what it commends of its followers. Cheers! quotha

Thanks for the return to elementary school. Muslims are to be equally harsh to the hypocrites (bad Muslims, what you call watered down). Muslims, following their model of conduct, act one way when they have the upper hand and another way when they are weak and vulnerable. That is the real meaning behind watered down. History is replete with examples of how fast the behavior changes when they do gain that upper hand. Those supposed non-Muslim Muslims who share kaffir values and do not know or reject the tenets of Islam–that chimera–will be of no help to us. Muslims always close ranks.
