Giving the lie to headlines such as this one from Reuters: “Activist says Boston beheading plot targeted her; police express doubt.” This was never true: the claim that the Boston jihadis were targeting Pamela Geller never came from Geller herself; she first heard about it when CNN called her and asked her for comment about it. The mainstream media elites hate Pamela Geller so much, they will even lie to minimize threats to her from Islamic jihad killers. And the police saying the plot was “wishful thinking” is more of this — it was real enough for the FBI and NYPD to alert Geller last week that something very serious was afoot. Although they didn’t tell her the specifics, it is clear now that this was the plotting to which they were referring.
Of course, if this had been a jihad plot against, say, Daisy Khan, not that there ever would be such a thing, no one would be expressing any skepticism at all. But Pamela Geller is just the wrong kind of jihad victim, as far as the corrupt and compromised elites are concerned.
“Police confirm Geller was initial target of terror plot,” by Denise Lavoie, Associated Press, June 5, 2015:
BOSTON — The family of a Boston man shot to death by terrorism investigators was shocked by allegations that he planned to kill police officers, and saw no signs that he had become radicalized, their attorney said Thursday.
Ronald Sullivan, a Harvard Law professor, said Usaama Rahim’s family considered him “an energetic young man trying to make his way in this world” and saw no behavior or changes in demeanor that would lead them to suspect he would espouse violence.
Surrounded by Rahim’s brothers, mother and wife on the sidewalk where Rahim was shot, Sullivan said they hope to work “productively and cooperatively” with investigators in a “joint effort to search for the truth.”
“Let me be clear: The family is not making any substantive claims at this time about what happened in this case,” Sullivan said. He said the family planned to view a video of the shooting later Thursday, but said that may not tell the whole story.
Rahim, 26, was fatally shot Tuesday after investigators said he refused to drop a military-style knife as they sought to question him about “terrorist-related information.” Police have said the video shows officers backing up and Rahim moving toward them before they fired.
Sullivan said Rahim’s brother Ibrahim Rahim, a well-known imam in Boston, regrets posting a Facebook message based on incorrect, third-hand information claiming that his brother had been shot three times in the back.
“We now know we simply did not have all the facts at that time,” Sullivan said.
Police Commissioner William Evans said Rahim had talked about beheading blogger Pamela Geller before deciding to target police officers. “There was some mention of that name,” said Evans, who dismissed the idea as “wishful thinking” while speaking on the “Today” show.
A Muslim leader said Thursday that his killing by Boston Police and the FBI was reckless and unnecessary. Imam Abdullah Faaruuq, who is close to the Rahim family, said he believes they wanted him dead.
“You can capture elephants, lions and tigers without killing them,” Faaruuq said. “The intent was not to capture him and keep him alive.”
Faaruuq said Rahim had been under surveillance for nearly three years, but he’s not convinced, based on what law enforcement officials have released, that it was warranted.
He also noted that the family had difficulties trying to bury their son because at least one cemetery refused to accept his body because he was a suspected terrorist. The funeral service and burial will be held Friday but the family is keeping it private, he said.
Geller wasn’t surprised that she may have been a target.
She’s a combative personality known for provoking Muslims by campaigning against a mosque near the World Trade Center site in New York, sponsoring inflammatory advertisements and organizing Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in Texas
“They want to make an example out of me to frighten the rest of the US into silence and submission,” Geller wrote in an e-mail to the AP on Thursday. “This is not about me. This is about whether the US will stand for freedom or submit and cower before violent intimidation.”…
Indeed.
Michael Copeland says
“Usaama Rahim’s family… saw no behavior or changes in demeanor that would lead them to suspect he would espouse violence.”
How artful of them.
No behaviour or changes in demeanor are needed. All that is needed to espouse violence is to attend the mosque. Hear the message:
“Islam is a religion of blood for the infidels.”
“Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those are witless. Islam says: kill all of the unbelievers as they would kill you all.”
“Killing is a great Divine gift.”
“Muslims must kill non-believers wherever they are unless they convert to Islam.”
“Allah, oh our Lord, vanquish Your enemies, enemies of the religion in all places. “Kill or physically attack the enemies of the religion of Allah – the Christians in all of Egypt’s provinces, the slaves of the Cross, Allah’s curse upon them.”
“Allah, strike the Jews and their sympathizers, the Christians and their supporters, the Communists and their adherents. Allah, count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one.”

As a resident of our wacky planet for 66 years, I’ve seen and read a large dose of 20th Century history.
That gives me a little bit of standing to say this : we here at Jihad Watch are witnessing what will eventually become one of the CURRENT century’s most important events — at least regarding the United States.
Pamela Geller is single-handedly awakening clueless lazy fellow citizens to the reality of Islam’s intentions — by tireless 24/7 courage and eloquence.
If there is ever a President or a Congress who have the balls to honor her as deeply as she merits, Ms. Geller would be given the Medal of Freedom . . . which is, I believe, America’s highest tribute a civilian can receive.

Before readers here justifiably gang up on me, I should also have mentioned Robert Spencer as her equal ally in counter-jihad . . . he is just as deserving of the Medal of Freedom.

Absolutely magnificent — perfect lucid education for our ignorant foolish population.

She and Robert, both are working tirelessly to educate dumb/naive/stupid Americans(MSM, Academia and leaders) about the dangers of Islam and Muslims!

Pamela is our all American girl next door. She is definitely the real deal. Just the kind of woman hussein obola despises.
Jaladhi says
This Harvard Law professor is nothing but a Muslim apologist who can never see any Muslim involved in any kind of criminal terrorists acts. That figures – Harvard is such a hang out for all these far out delusional people. To call him a professor is insulting professors!
Amazing but surprising these people cannot find anything wrong with Islam and Muslims. They just ignore Islamic history!

there’s AP, giving referencing the pedophile with capital letters even on prophet! in AP’s corrupted “jounalism” it is simply: Prophet Muhammad! not even a the in front of it, like there are no other so-called prophets who count. astounding display of journalist bias from AP. who runs AP these days? Qatar?

You know, the “martyrdom” of the latest wanna-be murderer found its way into my country’s cable network news. It was a 20 or 30 seconds long segment where Pamela was described as a “conservative” and a “critic of jihad”. Not “anti-islam”, “anti-muslim”, “bigoted” or something like that (although the “conservative” bit was uncalled for), just “critic of jihad”.
Colin says
Pam Geller is an extremely brave woman: not because she doesn’t like Muslim laws – most non Muslims would agree with that – but because she knows that many Muslims want everyone to observe Muslim laws and want to punish – even kill – those who break those laws, whether or not you’re a Muslim. That bad enough – to be threatenened with punishment for breaking laws that are not the laws of your land – but to stand up to Muslim vigilantes takes true courage. On top of that, we have American and European neo-coms [yes – coms!] who don’t love like Muslim laws, but who hate Western mainstream politics so much that they don’t mind what destruction vigilantes of any description bring about.

Work with… cooperatively… truth… transparent… productively… blah blah blaaah.
With code words like these flying about, it sounds like Usaama Rahim’s family is setting the FBI for an out of court settlement on a civil trial over the invasion of Usaama’s privacy rights and his murder.
This could be like Ferguson all over again. The poor young man was shot multiple times in the back. Hands up! Hands up! Black lives matter!

Pamela Geller is the wrong kind of victim. She is not the preferred victim for either the media or the public.
We all sympathize with the ” Betty Boop” victim. We like our victims to be sweet, voiceless and powerless. And so much the better if the victim is young and full of sexual potentiality and just a little bit dumb. And cries of the victim must resemble the incoherent squeaks of a frightened bunny to elicit any sympathy from the less rational among us. We all want to rescue Betty Boop.
But what if the possible victim of a jihadi is a tigress? What if the victim has a stirring roar and verbal abilities that can rip into the psyche like the claws of a predator into its prey? The cries of a tigress make us all just a little uncomfortable. It could turn on us next.
And yet a scimitar wielding assailant could easily overwhelm a tiger.
Can we sympathize with a powerful victim? Too many people are unsure.
Surely the hapless Betty Boop would never have the courage to venture into this dangerous arena of combat in the first place. Only a tigress would have survived so long. Are we selfless enough to give thumbs up to a victim who offers us little chance to aggrandize our own egos as we stand on the same moral ground as she? The people who frequent this website seem to get it. Let’s hope everyone else gets it, and the sooner the better.

I think you put your finger on an important point, there.
I would only disagree with your contention that we *all* like our victims to be the Betty Boop kind. The left certainly do, as well as other fools, and they like them to be preferably members of an ethnic minority, and hopefully brown skinned, as well. The idea that a strong, articulate person who **tells the truth** can be victimised is anathema to such as they.
Your description of Miss Geller as a tigress is spot on !

And she is 100% correct.
It is simply the way of Muhammad: kill the fighters; take for captives the women and children–as long as all in those ranks are willing to be submissive to Islamic guidance and laws.

I saw Geller on TV last night, and saw a problem. Not with her, seeing her (or Spencer) on TV is a good and important thing. But the news entertainer persisted in trying to bait her into denouncing Islam per se, and Geller responded each time by denouncing Jihad and Sharia.
This illustrates the sad and probably disastrous fact that one may not make the link between the Holy Ko-Ran and Sunnah and the matter at hand, in this instance the plot to chop Geller’s head off.
Geller knows about the link, but was smart enough to take the bait and tell the truth. It is a damning and disturbing reality of the situation the Moslems have put us in. Along with the hairy dudes in queer caps on TV, culpability for this is shared by our news entertainers.
Alarmed Pig Farmer says
… one may not make the link between the Holy Ko-Ran and Sunnah and the matter at hand…
This should read “between the Holy Ko-Ran and Sunnah and Islam, which in the matter at hand is the chopping off of Geller’s head.” Sorry, had to make that edit.
The link between Islam and what’s happening may not be made publicly. Although, if I’m not mistaken, Spencer has made the link once or twice in this blog.

“The family of a Boston man shot to death by terrorism investigators was shocked by allegations that he planned to kill police officers, and saw no signs that he had become radicalized, their attorney said Thursday.”
– Where do all the Muslims, whose sons/daughters are provoked by anything to commit murder, get the money for a family attorney? Maybe we can find one of those attorneys to represent Pamela Geller . . .
“an energetic young man trying to make his way in this world”
– Guess he made his way out of this world. Now that’s the right path.
“hope to work ‘productively and cooperatively’ with investigators in a ‘joint effort to search for the truth.'”
– Great! Bet they start with the Qur’an, Hadith, and the local mosque . . .
“A Muslim leader said Thursday that his killing by Boston Police and the FBI was reckless and unnecessary. Imam Abdullah Faaruuq, who is close to the Rahim family, said he believes they wanted him dead.”
– If that’s the case, good for the Boston Police. Some things are as they should be.
‘“You can capture elephants, lions and tigers without killing them,’ Faaruuq said. ‘The intent was not to capture him and keep him alive.”’
– It may have been that the Boston Police initially sought to capture and to keep him alive;
however, I suspect Rahim’s lunging forward with a military-style knife precluded further
consideration of that strategy.
“the family had difficulties trying to bury their son because at least one cemetery refused to accept his body because he was a suspected terrorist.”
– Try the local landfill . . .
“She’s a combative personality known for provoking Muslims by campaigning against a mosque near the World Trade Center site in New York, sponsoring inflammatory advertisements and organizing Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in Texas.”
– Denise Lavoie seems to have forgotten that those who died at the WTC on February 26, 1993
and on September 11, 2012 have earned the right of having a mosque-free area around the
hallowed ground of their deaths. Maybe she needs to be reminded that the landing gear from
Mohammed Atta’s flight fell onto the mosque near the WTC. The only reason to build another
mosque was this: Show the Muslim world the supremacy of Islam. Thank God for Pamela Geller!
All those people died for provoking Muslims by simply going to work. When will defamation of
character commence for Muslim imams like Abdullah Faaruuq? It’s time for pigs to fly . . .
My Muslim whining meter has pegged. Such evil! Using a title submitted by someone else (I apologize for my failure to remember your name) who previously has posted comments on a different article, I am infuriated and disgusted with the “religion of perpetual outrage.” 1400 years is long enough to endure such evil, stupidity, lying, murder, rape, polygamy (for men), etc. Maybe Islam is the cause of global warming . . . not women in jeans.

I don’t know how many Jihad Watch reader get the Sean Hannity radio program in their area. I do. Just listened to a debate between Dr. Faheem Younus, a leader of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and Pamela.
In my view Younus is very dangerous. He is a liar. He lies about Islam unlike Hannity’s other guest, British imam Anjem Choudary. At least Choudary is honest about Islam.
Younus lies about how much a friend he is to Pamela. Pamela spoke about what Islam’s prophet did to the Jews in Media. Muslims chant, “Khybar, Khybar ya yahud ….” (Jews, remember Khybar), Muslims worldwide celebrate Muhammad’s slaughter and his expulsion of the Jews from Arabia. Younus did not even address her point. He dodged.
Dr. Younus is a heretic and it needs to be said. Jihadists like Anjem Choudary, Hamas, ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood, etc., they are devout Muslim who practice authoritative Islam; the Islam of the prophet. Younus is a heretic and he lies about Islam and the prophet.

And you’re right, ahamadi are a small percentage of the total muslim population worldwide and widely regarded as heretics by mainstream islamic sects. Anyone debating any ahamadi should point that out – they don’t represent islam worldwide.
