Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Slain Boston jihadi “radicalized by ISIS,” part of terror network

Jun 2, 2015 9:05 pm By Robert Spencer

Usaama Rahim knife 2And his brother is a leading moderate Islam who somehow failed to imbue his brother with the true, peaceful teachings of Islam that all non-Muslim authorities have no problem understanding. More on this story. “Source: Man fatally shot by officers in Boston part of terror network,” by Ray Sanchez, Evan Pérez and Shimon Prokupecz, CNN, June 2, 2015:

(CNN)A man who waved a large military knife at officers and is believed to have been radicalized by ISIS was shot and killed by police in Boston on Tuesday, according to officials.

The suspect, identified as Usaama Rahim, 26, was under 24-hour surveillance by anti-terrorism authorities, said FBI Special Agent in Charge Vincent B. Lisi….

Rahim was a subject of a terror investigation involving suspected Islamist extremists, law enforcement sources said.

“We believe he was a threat,” Boston Police Commissioner Williams Evans said. “He was someone we were watching for quite some time.”

Rahim had been under surveillance by the U.S. Joint Terrorism Task Force, officials said.

Ibrahim Rahim, an imam at the Lighthouse Mosque in Oakland, California, earlier posted about his brother’s death on social media.

Ibrahim Rahim wrote on Facebook that his brother was shot while at a bus stop on his way to work. He asked for prayers for his brother.

In a 2013 interview with CNN, Ibrahim Rahim voiced his objection to presiding over the funeral of Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

“We don’t want people looking at us as though we are empathetic in any way to what has happened at the hands of this man and his brother,” he said at the time.

Ibrahim Rahim said his brother was on the phone with their father and was shot three times in the back during the confrontation.

In a statement, the Islamic Society of Boston said police have invited Muslim leaders Wednesday to watch surveillance video of the shooting.

“As religious institutions serving the Boston Muslim community, the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) and Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC) leadership are saddened to hear of the shooting of Usaama Rahim,” the statement said. “This tragedy has yielded many important questions that merit additional attention, and while we cannot expect all questions to be answered … our hope is that greater clarity and transparency will bring some peace to our congregation and the Boston community at large.”

The ISBCC said that it had had a limited relationship with Rahim. A security firm it uses to provide security at the center hired him as a guard for a month in 2013. Rahim did not regularly pray at the center, nor volunteer, nor serve in any leadership position, the center said.

The FBI-led task force had been watching Rahim and two associates believed to be radicalized by ISIS and other extremist influences, according to a law enforcement official. Rahim had been monitored for at least a couple of years. Investigators were talking to the associates, and various locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island were being searched, officials said….

And we’re getting a big fat bonus in the form of tens of thousands fresh new “refugee” immigrants from Syria and Iraq. The feds are already processing the paperwork. This will be a nice boost to our cultural diversity quotient, and will shore up our multiculturalism too.

No high fives over this very small victory; the process is the punishment.

How many highly trained FBI operatives were involved, for a YEAR no less, watching this worthless peon foot soldier? How many man hours? Think of all the levels of supervision. Think of at least three shifts of field operatives watching him or his place of work (front and back?) or his home (front and back). Think of others tapping his phone, and arabic translators. Think of reports being written. Think of a CYA mindset that obuMBoy might sic his Lynch bitch on them if they as much as get a comma out of place.

There are THOUSANDS of mocreeps like this ex-jerk, and they are nearly all cleverer, because we haven’t heard about them. The CIA and FBI are already overloaded with possible villains to keep tabs on, and hundreds of freshly trained jihadists are coming back from IS. Add to them the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of ‘moderate’ moslems already let in and the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS to come. And ‘moderate’ is Newspeak for ‘refugees’ – totally undocumented moslems (NO CHRISTIANS ALLOWED) – who could be 1% (i.e, thousands) card-carrying IS members, and another 5% rabid supporters and wannabees.

The FBI claims about 35,000 employees, but with the usual pyramid of supervision would 30,000 be available for field work? They say it takes 12 agents to monitor an ordinary suspect and 24 (or more) for higher value targets, so they could only be expected to monitor less than 3,000 suspects, out of a population of 330,000,000 for ALL crimes, not just jihadists.

OK for this case, they only have to monitor from a population base of about 6,000,000.
        Yeah, that’s 6,000,000 too many, I know!
Again, take out what, one million, two, who are definitely too old or too young. Hell, let’s say their pool is ONLY 3,000,000. They have to pick the right ONE IN A THOUSAND, and EVERY TIME, while probably 30,000 or more are mouthing off and wishing they had the balls to go and kill a kaffir.

But wait, they have other problems, like obuMBoys South American friends pouring across the US’s pathetic southern ‘border. Maybe they can only afford to watch a thousand moperps. You get the idea.

Imagine if that problem population simply didn’t exist. Aside from no 9/11, Iraq, Syria, Fakestine, … either the FBI could be considerably smaller, or other criminals could be thwarted.

I will add one other group. Leftards have their noses shoved so far up moslem arseholes that their eyes bulge. To what degree do they aid those moperps? Do they actively help them, arm them, train them, fund them, scout for them, provide safe houses, provide explosives, provide lookouts for them, provide false leads to police and FBI, even just say nothing when they know something bad is going down. So that group has to be added to the pool of jihadists.

I still think that a full-size Tsar Bomba – 100 Megatons – detonated 100 meters above the mecca latrine would give 1.5 billion cretins pause for thought. Then WE could start talking about ‘reforming’ islam, and exporting it back to its sodding hellhole source.

          Found this on the FBI:

          http://blogs.reuters.com/great-debate/2015/02/22/fighting-terror-the-complex-factors-in-deciding-who-to-watch/

Based on ONLY a 12 agent surveillance at about $15,000/week, this useless creep cost the US taxpayers (98% non-moslem) about $750,000.

And it’s not over yet. The fat lady (Lynch?) hasn’t sung yet. The entire leftard apparatus, probably aided by academia, and orchestrated by cair, will raise the usual song and dance about police brutality or whatever. And more reports will be demanded and written…

How many highly trained FBI operatives were involved, for a YEAR no less, watching this worthless peon foot soldier? How many man hours?

I’ve think about this all the time. $15K per week per head? The total wealth expended keeping track of Moslems I estimate to be in at least the $100 billion dollar range. In addition to the FBI, we’ve got the DHS with its tens of thousands of TSA fondlers, the local PDs with their special units like in the NYPD, the CIA, the Pentagon, and on and on and on.

A cost could even put on all the productivity lost waiting in lines at the airport.

Funny thing is, what good does it do? Let us remember that a senior FBI official John O’Neill knew of Obama’s team and raised loud warning within the FBI, only to be fired for his efforts, no doubt as a crackpot bigot like Spencer and Geller here. Tower 2 came down on his head when it collapsed; he by then had taken a job as the head of security for the NY/NJ Port Authority.

Then there is the opportunity cost you cite: all the thousands of people we have on Moslem Patrol are not working on containing other types of criminals and national aggressors.

          ***

And the Moslems make money even on all of this. in the 2000s the geniuses running our gubmint went on an Affirmative Action hiring spree to bring in Moslems to serve as Moslem Special Agents so as to no longer misunderstand the Unicorns.

Obama is a dhimmi who does not want to insult Islam by saying that Islam has something to do with Islamic terrorism. Yes, do not let these jihadists back to the USA and take away their citizenship.

The first thing I saw when this news flashed on Fox RINO was, “Dang, the City of Boston needs to give more of that Infidel taxpayer money to the big mosque they helped build.”

The one thing I learned is that, you don’t pay the Moslem Man, he’ll kill your people. The second thing I learned is that, even if you *do* pay the Moslem Man, he’ll still kill your people.

For the one side, it’s a win-win situation. For the other side, it’s a fictive reality that’s slowly oozing it’s way into a living nightmare.

  3. mortimer says

The Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) knows nothing about the radicalization as they knew nothing about the Tsarnaevs and many others.

As we all know now, Muslims are not supposed to rat out their brothers who are committing acts of terrorism against the dirty KUFAAR.

The conspiracy goes on and no one in law enforcement dare call its true name: CONSPIRACY.

    • Alarmed Pig Farmer says

      Jun 3, 2015 at 9:48 am

But that makes you a conspiracy theorist. It is widely accepted that anybody who talks about a conspiracy is a nut. Nobody mentions that the RICO law, one of our most successful criminal laws, is predicated on the existence of conspiracy.

So, mum’s the word on the conspiracy thing. I know what you’re gonna axe, so I’ll give a pre-emptive answer: the Moslems that sunny September day went on a group airliner scavenger hunt, things went awry cuz they were all amateur pilots doing a stupid college prank, and yes they had shaved their brown bodies to be at their best for the porno heaven, but it was only an unfortunate PR problem that two of them happened to crash at 500 mph into the those two Infidel towers.

And hey. Before you bleat, there were *Moslems* in those towers too, so Unicorns were obviously also victims on that terribly unfortunate day. Gotcha. Hah.

    The CNN article says:
“In a 2013 interview with CNN, Ibrahim Rahim voiced his objection to presiding over the funeral of Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.”

“‘We don’t want people looking at us as though we are empathetic in any way to what has happened at the hands of this man and his brother,’ he said at the time.”

Notice the wording here. He does not say that he is not empathetic. Rather, he says that “We don’t want people looking at us as though we are empathetic”. This brings to mind Raymond Ibrahim’s article “Taqiyya about taqiyya”, in which he talks about tawriya. Here’s the link:

    http://www.raymondibrahim.com/islam/taqiyya-about-taqiyya/

    Raymond Ibrahim writes:

“The authoritative Hans Wehr Arabic-English Dictionary defines tawriya as, “hiding, concealment; dissemblance, dissimulation, hypocrisy; equivocation, ambiguity, double-entendre, allusion.” Conjugates of the trilateral root of the word, w-r-y, appear in the Quran in the context of hiding or concealing something (e.g., 5:31, 7:26).

“As a doctrine, “double-entendre” best describes tawriya’s function. According to past and present Muslim scholars (several documented below), tawriya is when a speaker/writer asserts something that means one thing to the listener/reader, though the speaker/writer means something else, and his words technically support this alternate meaning.

“For example, if someone declares “I don’t have a penny in my pocket,” most listeners will assume the speaker has no money on him—though he might have dollar bills, just literally no pennies.”

Ah, you noticed that as well. It’s a common theme among islamic clerics. They don’t outright say that what muslims did was wrong, they just say it was bad for the image of islam.

…you mistakenly believe that the Boston community at large is not at peace with this event. I’m sure no one in post-marathon Beantown is troubled by proactive anti-terrorist police action that, by all accounts, ended the life of a knife wielding soon-to-be-activated jihadi.

The only thing that radicalize Muslims is Quran and the imams in their mosques. All other reasons given by the Western media and the so called “moderate” Muslims are excuses which are set to deflect attention from Islam itself. A very clever strategy which leaders promote whole heartedly!!
