Tunisia plans to close 80 mosques for inciting violence after hotel jihad attack

Jun 27, 2015 9:04 am By Robert Spencer

Tunisia beach jihad attackTunisia’s government can recognize that preaching in mosques can incite violence. The government of the United States cannot. To do so would be “Islamophobic.”

“Tunisia government says to close 80 mosques for inciting violence, after hotel attack,” Reuters, June 26, 2015:

TUNIS (Reuters) – Tunisia plans within a week to close down 80 mosques that remain outside state control for inciting violence, as a countermeasure after the hotel attack that killed 39 people, Prime Minister Habib Essid said on Friday.

The announcement came after a gunman opened fire on a tourist resort hotel in Sousse city, south of the capital. Since its 2011 uprising to oust Zine El-Abidine Ben Ali, Tunisia has struggled to manage ultraconservative Islamist movements.

Tragically, even after seven years of the worst presidency in the history of the Republic, there are at least 37% of Americans who are BRAIN DEAD still supporting him

I don’t think that Obama is a Muslim; he is just another far left America-hater who is acting to destroy America and Western Civilization. The goal of liberalism and Islamisim is to destroy Western Civilization, so they are natural allies.

Actually in the Islamic world if your father is a Muslim then you are a Muslim. Unlike Christianity were one must be “born again” to become a follower of Jesus the Christ.

This move is trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. It was done successfully by Ataturk, but these are different times. A noble sentiment doomed to failure. It is Al-Sisi’s dream put into action and now awaiting reaction. Tunisia is an explosive situation, literally. The reaction is inevitably coming. I don’t look forward to reading about it, but I will.

Oh, and it’s telling that the Tunisian government is in stark disagreement with Prez Barack Hussein’s repeated insistence that what is said in mosques has no causal relation to terror mass murder by Moslem activists.

We can expect our leader to publicly rebuke Tunisia on the TV set this weekend, or maybe on Monday cuz he’s on a golf outing this weekend. He cannot let this gratuitous insult of Islam stand unremarked, he cannot let this senseless blame laying proceed without his judicious and enlightened comment.

Please Mr Farmer, do not express Islam in that manner. The Tunisians are doing all they can, the additional renewed security means that Tunisia is probably one of the safest placefor holidays.

” The Tunisians are doing all they can, the additional renewed security means that Tunisia is probably one of the safest placefor holidays.”

Funny how ‘additional renewed security’ is only needed for islamic shitholes.

Tunisia is probably one of the safest placefor holidays.’

I predict a *huge* down swing in the Tunisian tourist trade.

”Those that have booked should still go”

39 murders aren’t enough, eh, rezali ? ‘allah’ wants more blood, every day, just like Moloch.

Why haven’t you gone to Syria, yet ?

Oops, I forgot, you’re worrying about what the wifies might get up to, when you’re not there, and all those ‘whispers and pointing fingers’ in your ‘community’. Take them with you! They’d probably welcome being raped by smelly, bearded, murderous mohammedans … Nah, they’re used to *your* attentions, aren’t they ?

          Springtime in the Hood

Where did the Arab Spring start by the way?????

It started in the fever swamp minds of Prez Barack Hussein and our slated next-Prez Hillary, who keeps Huma Abedin as one of her closest aides. Barack’s top aide is Valerie, she of the Mo-Sis-Hood. Dunno if Huma is in the Mo-Sis-Hood herself, but her family has deep connections into the Mo-Bro-Hood.

So the Arab Spring started with the help of the Mo-Sis-Hood to put the Mo-Bro-Hood in power in Cairo. The State Department has leaned to Morsi’s Mo-Bro-Hood over the current leader Al-Sisi, who has effectively made membership in the Mo-Bro-Hood a felony. So we’re in the business of supporting felons who favor Global Jihad. Don’t ask why this is so, it’s one of those college professor counterintuitive things.

That’s where the Arab Spring has gone.

Rezali, Rezali, Rezali – Tunisia had a previous terrorist attack back in March at the Bardo Museum. Another tourist massacre – 20 people dead. If security wasn’t beefed up after that, why should anyone trust it to be done now? Or maybe the problem is that it isn’t possible to stop every terrorist attack unless you put so many police and military everywhere that no tourist would want to visit.

The more terrorist attacks happen in the Muslim world, the more the kafir is going to stay away. The terrorist groups have declared war against the unbelievers, and to travel to Muslim countries is like putting a target on one’s back.

To Rezali- I have missed you and your poking fun at me. No one quite harassed me like you do! The last time we commented together was several weeks ago, when you wrote that Champ, Carolyne and I would get delirious with desire over a Muslim man’s clean-shaven upper lip, and I responded by stating that I like tongue more! I didn’t mean offense to anyone, I was being honest. We are all adults here, right? Anyway, your suggestion to go to Tunisia is not a very wise one, as foreign tourists seem like they are sitting duck targets for murder. That shows you how stupid the murderers are; they kill the people who want to enjoy the country’s attractions, and bring money into the country as well. I know a Jewish lady who visited Jordan and Israel in the same vacation itinerary. She told me she never felt unsafe in either country, and wherever she and her fellow tour group and tour guide went, they had a great time. That is success! Finally, I wrote a letter to King Salman of Saudi Arabia asking his majesty to pardon and free Raif Badawi and his lawyer. Since you are in the know about stuff like this, make a prediction if the king will respond to my letter, and if he will free Raif. Please pray about this because Raif is innocent, and so is his lawyer. Peace.

“Please Mr Farmer, do not express Islam in that manner. The Tunisians are doing all they can, the additional renewed security means that Tunisia is probably one of the safest placefor holidays. ”

One of the safest place for holidays? You are either dreaming or seriously worried that the tourist industry will collapse in your country.

I Personally would never go the north Africa – the safe times are over. I too do not like the idea that the economy of Tunesia is getting worse due to Jihad-Attacks. In the end this is the goal of the Jihadi – but you cannot expect tourists to fight this fight for you – nobody will risk their life for this.

Mr Mehil – I assume you are a Muslim. Let me tell you something: I too used to be one – I’m a former convertite and can only assure you that our argument is not with you as a person but with the ideology which was brought into this world by a man who killed, beheaded, enslaved and raped. The so called authentic islamic sources such as Sahih-Bukhari do not picture the Prophet of Islam as a good man at all.

And since for Muslims Mohammed is the greatest, terrorism will continue, since they think by doing what he did they will reach paradise – possibly as martyrs. Those are the facts, I’m afraid.

Don’t let the constant threats of hellfire within the Quran blind you from the very obvious scenario that Mohammed simply used this hell-fire stories in order to gain influence. In the end he spread his religion by violence and not by preaching – he first attempted it with preachin in mecca, but failed and found out that by behaeding “infidels” he wil be more successful.

        Sad but true.

A desperate move by the Tunisian State to try and prove that it can censor Islam in order to pre-empt the collapse of its tourist industry, among other predictable international repercussions. Rather pathetic really because (1) We already know exactly what Islam’s about, (2) We already know that you’re ‘not allowed’ to censor Islam, (3) The figure of over 80 mosques to be closed clearly indicates the scale of the problem, (4) to anyone with an an ounce of sense, the ‘problem’ will in any case still remain in the population no matter how many mosques you close (because the ‘problem’ IS ‘Islam’), and (5) we are not to know whether or not a future government of Tunisia will choose to revert to a more ‘fundamental’ (and ‘correct’) interpretation of Islam. Still, a nice try even if we’re not fooled.

    • TheBuffster says

And if those 80 mosques are all radicalizers, I’m sure the members will decide that they’ve been naughty and should repent and change their ways, rather than step up terrorism in vengeance against the government “oppression”.

Yeah, right, because Islam is the Religion of Peace and all its members are really nice guys who follow the example of that even nicer man, Mohammed, and would much rather spend their free time mowing the lawn for their christian Auntie-in-law than playing with pop-guns, and they only got THAT nasty idea because they’d been forced to watch too many evil American John Wayne war films when they were young and impressionable. And there are also pigs flying in the skies over the wonderful peaceful islamic lands (sent there by the Americans, just to provoke the locals). Are you reading this, Rezali Mehil? Your comments, please?

And there are also pigs flying in the skies over the wonderful peaceful islamic lands…

Hey don’t be so sarcastic. After years of careful breeding, development of specially fit high buoyancy sock chutes, and untold hours of training, I have made pigs fly. Some neighbors here in south central Kentucky reported to police that they saw pigs soaring over the woods, only to be put in cuffs, put in the back seat of a squad car, and taken away to a local long term detox center for having gone too far into the bottle of Kentucky Bourbon.

Being a bit of a sentimentalist, I call my squadron the Alarmed Airhogs. It would be too heavy to attach guns or missiles to them, so I’ve developed a new breed of sharp tooth thick hide razorbacks dubbed Porcines that are basically high tech attack swine. They’re bred to sense the human emotions of prerogative piety and aggression — in other words, Moslems — and go for their throats.

My plan is to launch a few dozen of them into Dearborn on a test run and see how things develop. I could get rich with a Pentagon defense contractor deal. The field of invention I call targeted wet work recombinant organics. I’m filing a patent soon.

By the way, we’ve had a couple of stories in the papers here about supermarkets ‘accidentally’ putting ads for bacon crisps near their ‘Ramadan’ shelves. Apparently, all the local butt-lifters have been going purple with righteous rage!! So the supermarkets trotted out all the usual apologies, God (or Allah) knows why, I don’t! Talking about righteous levitators of the nether regions, I notice no response yet from our redoubtable Mr. Mehil after my request in my last posting. Maybe he’s taking time out for Ramadan. RIP to the victims. Tunisia is one of the most successful economies in all of Africa, therefore a prime target for the demonic forces which seek to destroy peace and prosperity everywhere.

I wish the people of North Africa would go back to their roots and their own culture. They are often referred to in the media as arabs but they are not arabs, most of them have less than 5% arab blood.

Islam is a religion that was imposed on them by invaders. Give up the religion of the invaders and go back to your own culture. Islam has nothing good to bring you.

Your own Government is responsible for 9/11 – I’m amazed that there are still so many sheeples within the US who do not know about this.

Your post does not only prove your ignorance – it also proves that a man like you should never be in power. Rounding everyone up – even though they did not commit any crime and lock them up in concentration camps…

What all western nations (and other first world liberal thinking countries) should do is advise all nationals not to visit any muslim states, as well as considering all muslims in host nations as being “high risk”.

It may be draconian but if muslim countries such as this fail to address fundamentalism then they should be considered as unsafe places to visit.
The same applies to western countries, we have to face the facts that terrorist attacks are in the majority, carried out by muslims.
Followers of Islam have to be pushed into correcting their own fundamentalist problem. They’re obviously not all fundamentalists but it is 100% an issue with muslims.

What chance do really have winning this war when national leaders namely Cameron and Hollande assure us the usual “nothing to do with…., religon of p….” bullshit.
These attacks was a perfect opportunity for these spineless traitors to find some intestinal fortitude and say ‘enough is enough, we have listened to the muslim side for a while now and we think there may need to be an investigation into what is really being taught in the mosques and we would like to more about this jihad thing where you want to “destroy western culture from within”.
Abbot to his credit is changing laws but it remains to be seen how hard they will come down on hate preachers or muslims holding placards stating to behead or dominate the world etc.
I know acquitted terrorist Zaky Mallar is shitting himself because he really doesn’t want to go back to his country of origin and be a good muslim because Australia is a much better country to live in.
Besides, if he fronts up for isis he may have to prove his faith and blow himself up. Zaky knows well and truly where he is better off. Poor fellow said he can’t even leave his house now.

One would hope now that non muslim sympathisers realize what is really going. One thing is for sure they cannot say is that if all these people weren’t drawing cartoons on the beach then none of this would of happened.
Further proof is the gunman was not known as an extremist. How many jihadis are really in our communities?
