Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

UK waterpark bans bikinis, orders visitors to wear ‘Islamically appropriate’ clothes

Jun 14, 2015 3:34 pm By Robert Spencer

waterworld“WaterWorld owner Mo Chaudry said: ‘I’m astonished that we have been targeted. We feel we’ve been victimised for offering something that we feel there is a demand for.'” Mo is right. There is a demand for such things in Sharia Britain. He shoudn’t be penalized. Those who should be penalized are the supine dhimmi authorities who have made modern Britain into a place where Sharia sex segregation sells.

“UK waterpark bans bikinis and orders visitors to wear ‘Islamically appropriate’ clothes,” by Scott Campbell, Sunday Express, June 14, 2015:

WaterWorld in Stoke-on-Trent plans to black out windows and provide a prayer room during a women-only night aimed at Muslims.

Only female lifeguards will patrol the park during the event, which has triggered a flood of complaints.

Staff will also “guard” the front entrance to “make sure that no males enter the facility”.

Conservative MP Philip Hollobone said: ‘I imagine there would be a lot of outrage if the boot was on the other foot and swimmers were told they had to dress appropriately in respect of Christians. I don’t see how this is different.”

One invitation to the “Sisters Only Funday” advises attendees to cover their “awrah” (nudity) by wearing full-length jogging bottoms and a dark-coloured t-shirt.

Protesters are now planning to demonstrate outside the event.

WaterWorld owner Mo Chaudry said: “I’m astonished that we have been targeted. We feel we’ve been victimised for offering something that we feel there is a demand for.”

A WaterWorld spokesman said: “We pride ourselves in having the adaptability and diversity to cater to demands of our guests.

“This is a female-only event and is not specific to any ethnic or religious group.”

        I wholeheartedly **disagree**.

This is not a question of ”he owns it, he can make the rules.”

We have **laws** in the UK, which specifically make it illegal to discriminate against people on the grounds of gender, etc. This man is deliberately flouting these laws.

A short while ago, lectures at University College London, promoted gender apartheid in favour of sharia, by insisting that female students must be seated apart from males. Where is this kowtowing to islamic sharia going to stop ?

If I own an amusement park, and I say that I’m going to hold a man love boy day, and only those who agree that paedophilia is acceptable, are allowed to attend, is that OK ?

If I say, I own this place, so I’m going to refuse entry to black people, or the disabled, is *that* OK ?

*All* of these things are **against the law**. muslims have **no right** to do this, whether this is a privately owned amusement park, or not.

          Jun 14, 2015 at 6:04 pm

We’ll have to agree to disagree on that, Mirren. As far as I’m concerned, if a private entrepreneur wants to be a bigot and hire staff, or select patrons, based on, for example, gender, sexuality or skin color, that’s his business. I believe, however, that most people are no bigots and want nothing to do with bigotry, so they would be disgusted with his hiring/admittance policies and take their business elsewhere, and that private entrepreneur would either have to change his policies on his own or close shop.

          Perfectly said.

          I agree with you 100%

          Angermon,

Unfortunately in England, if you discriminate against individuals regarding the things you just mentioned, it won’t just tarnish your character, it can land you in jail. Perhaps someone from the UK can set me straight about my presumption here, but freedom of speech for white Britons has been severely curtailed.

In a perfect world or in an ideal one, if a business owner wanted to be a bigot it would be his business. But that is not the world we live in. We cannot have laws that apply to one set of people, but not to another. That is what it boils down to.

Yeah, but he’s doing it on behalf of Moslems, and they are prerogates. Britain is no more of a nation of laws now as America. Both our countries have devolved into nations of lawyers, not laws, and the lawyers are all over what can be sold politically.

“We have **laws** in the UK, which specifically make it illegal to discriminate against people on the grounds of gender, etc. This man is deliberately flouting these laws.”

Sadly, enforcing the law in the UK has become highly subjective and inconsistent and that trend has now led to widespread confusion within the culture as to whether or not a law is a law. I agree with Angemon….

“Perhaps someone from the UK can set me straight about my presumption here, but freedom of speech for white Britons has been severely curtailed.”

True and absolutely infuriating. I hate muslims and cowards. Thank God most of our veterans from WW1 and WW11 are gone and don’t have to witness this travesty. The ship is sinking.

Not only is the Muslim flouting discrimation laws, he’s doing it on the basis of the same ideology that is motivating and guiding the mass-murder of our people. If it weren’t for this last part, we could be as sanguine, soft and nougaty about the problem as Neil Jennison and Angemon are being and arguably justify it.. For some odd reason, people like them have been ingesting the bloody mountain of data on fire about Islam and Muslims over the years, but not adequately digesting it.

I agree we can vote with our feet, but if the boot was on the other foot and a theme park had a non muslim dress day where all Islamic dress was banned there would be uproar the owner would be made to apologise, and the event would be cancelled.
OK so it is advertised as a womens only night, which I do wonder would they have a man only night, but then goes on to say Islamic dress is to be worn. That means he is assuming that all women are muslim and will dress that way. So it is not a womens night it is and should be advertised as an Muslim Womens Night.
There again that might have got him into some trouble, even here in Dhimmi UK.

      Jun 14, 2015 at 7:59 pm

Neil said “I believe in freedom. He owns it, he can make the rules.”
From a logical perspective, the first sentence does not lead to the second. Check your premises or check your conclusion. There is a breakdown in logical thought. In other words, your argument is invalid.

      • The Doctor says

        Jun 15, 2015 at 9:16 am

There appears to be an implied, but clearly missing premise “… is a free country.”

Yes, from a strict formal logic standpoint his argument is invalid, but with what to me seems to be a clearly implied premise his argument is valid.

I think the intent was that freedom should be the final arbiter, but as many have stated, there are laws that expressly prohibit certain types of discrimination in order to prevent some people from impinging on the freedoms of others.

Unfortunately, simply demanding “freedom” does not always work in a non-altruistic society. Face it – some people are just plain jerks and only think of themselves, thus there need to be some limitations on freedom in order to protect others. This is the difficult part that no-one seems to be able to do entirely correctly. Some countries do a better job than others, but no-one is perfect.

I am not a lawyer, I am a physician and computer scientist (doctorates in both), so I cannot comment on the applicability of British law in this situation. It seems to me that “voting with your wallet” is the best approach. If this supposedly “women-only” event, though clearly aimed at Muslim women, fails, then the business owner will either suffer lost revenue, increase prices for everyone else to make up for lost revenue, or eliminate the limited-audience event.

I do not live in the UK (though I have been to Stoke-on-Trent) and I do not visit water parks, so all I can do is raise awareness about this matter. Those of you who would be potential customers need to do as your conscience dictates.

Even if the subculture in question were one that simply did not believe in freedom as a matter of doctrine — but: 1) they do not believe in forcing with a combination of violence and deceptive stealth, and 2) they have not already been trying to force by killing us and lying about it, and 3) we have every reason to believe they plan to kill us in more horrific ways in the coming years and decades — then I would agree with Neil Jennison and Angemon. Unlike them, however, I have been really digesting this indigestible mountain of horrific, ghastly, gruesome, ghoulish data aobut this actual, concrete, particular subculture — Islam and Muslims. That’s EXACTLY anybody with half a brain would do.

Not patronize a business that offends you.

The problem here is, Muslims would mass support this particular “Waterworld,” giving the false impression there is a huge market for their demands.

      Until the rules were changed…

And then they would take their fake “genuine” mass support, to the next Waterworld, or next business, and start the same old whine over again.

I’ve traveled all over the world, and while the vast majority of places are interesting and fun, as the saying goes, “Nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there.”

That’s not because I considered other cultures bad, or beneath me. It’s just that I don’t want to abide by their particular rules.

As example, I anchored in the Canaries for several months and had a ball.

But in terms of business, as in boat repairs?

It drove me up a wall.

Businesses don’t tend to open until ten.

Then close from noonish to two for sure, most often til three, and some til four.

Where they open for a couple hours.

Then go home to nap or whatever until eating an evening meal around nine.

Then entertainment places get going around ten or eleven, and some places don’t even open until three a.m.

Most people may go home about three, which means most don’t get up early enough to open business til ten, and the whole thing cycles again.

Manyana, (“Tomorrow” accompanied by a shrug of possibility.)is what you usually hear when you ask, “When will it be in?”

Now if you like those kinds hours, fine, but if you prefer a system, American say, (Where you can get stainless steel polish in any hardware store), yet on a group of islands that serve as the last port of call, and rendezvous point, for the annual A.R.C. (Atlantic Rally Crossing) where there are thousands of miles of stainless steel rigging, you can’t get a single tube. (And it’s cause they didn’t order any, not because they ran out.) then I think I’ll live here.

The point of this ramble is, I’ll live where I’m willing to abide by the rules.

I agree with Neil. I am tired of the government telling me what to do. The governing politicians simply seek to be re-elected and they would, if they could, mandate free service to all of their core voters at the expense of the opposition. Unfortunately, too many people think that “fair” means having someone else tell them what to do. But then, surrendering your right to make your own choices dovetails nicely with the central ideology of Islam…

Without regard to the _actual_ veracity of any religion, I believe a religion should be judged based on the impact it has on the world in general and on the lives of its followers.

Look at the overall impact of Christianity on the world and compare that to the overall impact of Islam on the world. One of these two religions has done great things over all to make the world a better place, and the other has raped, murdered, and pillaged its way across the world.

No religion is perfect, as there are those who claim to follow it and do not, but then look at the teachings of each religion to determine who were the true followers and who were the false followers. One religion teaches peace and kindness toward ALL while the other teaches subjugation of those who do not follow it.

It is fairly clear with even a cursory examination which religion has done more good. You may not agree with the religion, but at least afford the followers some courtesy for the fact that they strive to follow their “Golden Rule”.

And another member of the only cult that has exceeded islams (RTC) murder rate per century, runs off at the mouth….. islam (RTC) has forced it bloody and hate filled drivel on the rest of the human race for 14 centuries, with varying levels of success…. it has averaged 20 million murders per century, a figure artificially low due to it’s forced dormancy after it’s last defeats…… Atheism is the only form of government worse than Islamic fascism…. having murdered 100 million in it’s most influential century, leaving islam (RTC) in the blood soaked dust.

Does this mean that atheism is and all atheists are as violent and hate filled as islam (RTC). No. Only a small core of ‘atheists’ hate those who fail to share their personal believe system. Like Mark, for example. Atheism, does not demand of it’s followers that they hate all others….. unlike islam (RTC). And while we are cursed now and then my idiot muslims coming by to insult us, and we are also insulted by low church atheists, again, such as Mark… But we also have strong allies, who can and do examine other belief systems before attacking them….. They have no trouble differentiating between islam (RTC) and legitimate religions, that benefit human kind. Those ones we should and usually do welcome. Mark and his ilk…… are morons and trolls. And he isn’t the only one of his kind demonstrating his ignorance and loutishness.

being a belated reaction to centuries of Jihadi atrocities (as

and deflect by pointing to the Catholics and Protestants
in Ireland. Whatever problems exist between them, no
Catholic or Protestant there wants to take over the world
and subjugate everyone to their will. Another good one is
Hitler killing in the name of Christianity, when, in reality, he
was fascinated by the occult and paganism and had a deep
disdain for the Christian faith. Even if there was any substance
to any of this deliberately dishonest historical revisionism
          – which there isn’t – it wouldn’t soften the intentions of what

Buffster: You know, there are bigoted and murderous people in every religious and political group. The real issue is *does the ideology support the murderousness*? If you go back to the ideology, will you find that it would condemn or uphold the bad behavior of the worst of its alleged followers?

As an atheist, I have no particular bias to favor one religion over another. I look at them objectively. And when I look at the ideal man of Christianity, Jesus Christ, I see a man whose primary message was that God loves all human beings, and that people should treat each other with love and respect. He also told his apostles not to strike out at those who mock and disbelieve, but simply to walk away from them. If they’re to be punished, that’s up to God, not man, to do.

When an adulteress was brought before Jesus by men who wanted to stone her, Jesus told them “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone”, and when they sheepishly admitted none of them were sinless, Jesus told the woman “Then neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.” I’d say that sends a message that the age-old custom of stoning adulterers was no longer to be obeyed.

Even while hanging on the cross, Jesus said “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

He said to love your enemies and pray for them.

Jesus never killed anyone, nor had his followers murder anyone for him. He didn’t believe in conquering by war in order to spread the word of God. He believed in preaching, in witnessing to others, and then leaving people to make up their own minds. That’s Jesus’s example to Christians.

          What was Mohammad’s example?

He didn’t say anything about loving your enemy and praying for them. A huge part of the Koran is about Allah (aka Mohammad) being incensed that people aren’t believing Mohammad’s assertions that Allah is the only god and that Mohammad is his messenger. He harps on the threat that if you don’t believe Mohammad on his say-so you’ll go to Hell.

Mohammad seems to revel in telling what will happen to people in Hell, and more than once the Koran says that the believers will be lounging on couches in Paradise, eating luscious fruit and drinking non-alcoholic wine and being served by beautiful virgins, while *watching the unbelievers in Hell* drink scalding water and undergoing all kinds of hideous tortures. And the believers will be mocking and jeering at the screaming kafirs, the way the kafirs used to make fun of the believers. Payback.

No, the kafirs aren’t in hell for crimes against humanity. They’re only there because they refused to believe in Mohammad as a prophet.

In the Hadith and the biography of Mohammad, we see him urging his followers to kill people for writing satirical poems about him or criticizing him. This happens several times. He also raids Meccan caravans in order to steal from them – in order to be able to later raise a fighting force to spread the rule of Islam. He justifies these things as the will of Allah.

And then he goes to war against those who refuse to accept Islam voluntarily. When his fighters prevail, Mohammad has all the men who fought against him beheaded and takes their women and children as slaves – the most attractive women being taken as sex slaves.

This is Mohammad – according to Islamic doctrine, the most perfect Muslim. The man to be emulated.

While many Muslims do not want to follow his example in all things (and many haven’t bothered to read the Koran or Hadith) and don’t have a clear idea of what Mohammad was, if you go to the primary texts, you find that those who aim to spread Islam by war and by underhanded means *are* following their prophet.

If you go to the New Testament to see the Christian ideal man, you find a person who would have condemned all the evils that Mohammad committed in the name of Allah, as well as all the evils that some Christians committed in the name of the Christian God or of Christ.

So Christians who strictly follow Christ as a role model aren’t going to be vengeful against unbelievers, nor go to war against them when they refuse to convert or submit, nor rape conquered women and sell them as slaves. But Muslims who strictly follow Mohammad will do all of those things. The truest Muslim and the truest Christian are polar opposites.

The content of a religion matters. And most especially, the ideal man of a religion matters.

You cannot judge a religion by those who claim to follow it, nor can you judge a person by the religion he claims to follow.

To judge the religion, you have to read the primary texts on which it is founded, because a given follower of the religion may be better or worse in character than the doctrines. (But those who are dedicated to the religion as written *will* follow the example of its perfect man.)

To judge a person’s character, you judge him by what he actually says and does, the principles he actually lives by. He may have a very different idea about what his religion stands for than what is actually written.

TheBuffster: It’s a lot easier to take the stories of the Bible as *stories*, and to learn lessons from them without taking them literally, than it is to do that with the Koran and the Hadith.

You know, you can get a lot out of a book of fiction, even a book of fiction with magic in it, if you read it for the life lessons it offers, and examine those lessons thoughtfully and critically. As a child, I found the Bible stories to be just as helpful in giving me something to think about as any other stories. In fact, at first I didn’t know they were taken literally by anyone, any more than Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty.

I agree that it isn’t great to teach kids to believe literally in miraculous events, to accept those events without evidence. But a religion whose founder eschewed coercion cannot be said to be ” just as much of a cancer to this planet” as a religion whose founder specialized in profoundly violent coercion.

Each of us has the capacity to look critically and honestly at what we are taught and to reject what we find to be false. It’s a whole lot easier *and SAFER* to do that if you’re raised by a fundamentalist Christian in a country with a secular government than if you’re raised by a fundamentalist Muslim in a country under sharia law.

I’m an atheist living in a secular/Christian society. I’m honest and open and happy.

I’d have to live a total lie in a sharia/Muslim society if I wanted to live at all. That would make happiness impossible to me.

That said, I think that JihadWatch ought to pick their fights more selectively. This one is small potatoes. This is a one time a year, female-only event, outside normal hours, and they are not imposing restrictions on anyone who would normally attend the park during normal hours. The newspaper that posted this article, Daily Express is an extreme right wing tabloid. Some readers think the water should be changed after the event. Really?

Purdah swimming is an encouraging trend, because it conveniently eliminates the need to wear anything at all while swimming. But why “Sisters Only”? Are only-child females not allowed to swim together with other naked women and girls? And why are there no male-only swimming times, when the Islamically correct way to swim is in your birthday suit? These same-sex-only swimming sessions allow both Muslims and kafirs to swim together as an ecumenical community, in the swimwear that Allah gave them.

As an atheist I support Mr. Spencer and Ms.Geller. I do understand that this site reports all types of Jihad and stealth jihad activity. I can’t identify to much with some people here because I don’t understand the Christian biblical counter arguments.

To me all religion is man made although I believe that Christ existed as well as the Mohamed although Mr. Spenser has good arguments that he didn’t exist. I also believe that Obama is trying very hard to start a religious war by supporting the Jihadist at every turn. The American people must choose a new leader that understands the problem with Islam. The American people should reinforce the separation of Church/Mosque/temple from the state. Only a secular government can safe guard the constitution and government from religious influence. It is also the only way to guarantee freedom of religion as well as freedom from religion. All presidential candidates should be questioned about their religious beliefs and how they would influence their political decisions. Mr. Spencer has mentioned already the American bureaucracy has been infiltrated and compromised by religion. The left has completely missed the mark and doesn’t understand the threat of Islam. I support the idea of social democracies but the left in the USA has become the new right and the right the new left. Really bizarre!

The American people must stay vigilant. If religious people want their own water parks they should build them and only allow their members to attend that way there is freedom and no imposition on others. I really hate to see society be divided this way because there is no compromise with religious people. Any rational conversation with religious folks is impossible because secularist don’t understand what they are talking about. Even on subjects of science.religious people don’t make any sense.

However the atrocities committed on people of other faiths by Muslims just because they are of a different faith must stop even by force. Democracy must be defended from theocracy by everyone.

I believe that Christ was a person, a man with vision and a Jew. What I don’t buy into is that he rose from the dead. If you are a Christian one must buy into this idea. The other thing that one has to believe in is the biblical god. If there is a god he is definitely not the biblical god because that god has to many human characteristics. If there is a god it is the power of the big bang but mostly why it banged. The big bang created a self aware universe of which the main objective is the creation of life. Everywhere in the universe not just on earth. I have no evidence for this. Science understands how it banged what happened after it banged but there are few explanations why it banged. If there is a god we can never understand how a Superior being thinks. Its like an ant trying to understand a human. That is why religion is man made.

They were secularists and they understood the reasons why many persecuted people moved to America. They moved to America to practice their religion without being persecuted.
