Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Iran deal is, predictably, a looming disaster for the free world

Jul 14, 2015 7:53 am By Robert Spencer

APTOPIX Austria Iran Nuclear TalksA gift to the Ayatollah, ensuring a future of blood and ruin. “Iran, World Powers Reach Final Nuclear Deal,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, July 14, 2015:

Iran and world powers on Tuesday announced they had sealed a final nuclear deal with Tehran that will lift most economic sanctions on the country and permit it to continue many of the most controversial aspects of its nuclear program, as well as its missile development, according to initial text of the agreement and statements by diplomats.

The agreement, which was finalized in Vienna, would in lift international sanctions on Iran and permit it to continue key elements of its nuclear work, as well as research and development.

Iran will be permitted to continue spinning centrifuges, which are used to enrich uranium, the key component in a nuclear weapon. Western powers will also work with Iran to help it install and operate more advanced centrifuges, according to those appraised of the deal.

This concession—as well as a range of others made by the United States—has rattled analysts and lawmakers, who have maintained that Iran should not be permitted to retain the core aspects of a nuclear program.

Sanctions also will be lifted on Iran, including those on the country’s banks and financial sectors, which have long supported Iran’s nuclear program as well as its sponsorship of international terror groups.

In one of the more controversial concessions made by the Obama administration, a United Nations’ embargo on arms also will be lifted within around five years as part of the deal, according to multiple reports. A similar embargo on the construction of ballistic missiles, which could carry a nuclear payload, also will expire in around eight years under the deal.

Initial readings of the deal also indicate that Iran will be given the right to veto so-called “anywhere, anytime” inspections of Iranian nuclear sites. This concession has caused concern that Tehran will be able to continue obfuscating its nuclear work and potentially continue in secret along the pathway to a bomb.

Iran also will be permitted for a time to keep its military sites off limits to inspectors, who have long been unable to confirm the past dimensions and scope of Iran’s nuclear weapons work.

New resolutions by the U.N. Security Council will solidify most key aspects of the deal.

Initial Iranian state-controlled reports on the final text of the agreement claim that “the world powers recognize Iran’s civilian nuclear program, including the country’s right to the complete nuclear cycle.”

In addition, “none of the Iranian nuclear facilities will be dismantled or decommissioned” under the deal, according to Iran’s Fars News Agency.

As part of a sanctions relief package, “tens of billions of dollars in Iranian revenue frozen in foreign banks will be unblocked” and returned to the Islamic Republic.

In public comments before the sides entered a closed-door meeting to finalize the deal, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif described the deal as a “win-win solution to what in our view was an unnecessary crisis.”

“This is a historic moment,” Zarif said, calling the final deal “an agreement that is not perfect for anybody.”

“Now we are starting a new chapter of hope,” he added.

President Obama, in a statement from the White House, explained that many portions of the deal will only be temporary, with some expiring after 15 years and others even sooner.

Iran will continue to have access to its nuclear supply chain, including key mines, Obama said in his statement.

The Islamic Republic “will receive relief from the sanctions we put in place … both America’s own sanctions and sanctions imposed by the United Nations Security Council,” Obama added.

Obama praised the deal as means to avoid war in the region and called it “irresponsible” to walk away from a deal with Iran.

The president also vowed to veto any effort by Congress to reject the deal.

Rep. Ron Desantis (R., Fla.) condemned the deal, calling it a “gift to Iran’s ayatollah.”…

It is difficult to come to any other conclusion than that Obama is evil. He really cannot be that stupid can he? You don’t get to President if you are that stupid.

      So, evil he is.

Everyone acts and talks like the prez is a boob, or something, and continue to deny that they were fooled into electing an agent of islam. I’m not saying you voted for this devout follower of islam, but most act like the prez is stupid, he’s not, but instead just a faithful follower of islam. All you voters still trying to pass him off as just stupid, need to face the fact you made a mistake, twice no less, and buck up and get to the task of removing this jihadist from office, and installing him into prison. Don’t forget to undo his mess, and to strengthen our laws so as to not let this happen again. Can anyone tell me why this clear and present danger hasn’t been removed yet?

Reading those bolded terms proves the goal was to turn Iran into a nuclear power and threaten Israel. No other conclusion is possible. Installing centrifuges? Seriously? Iran should have held out for MIRVed ICBM technology.

Iran’s goal is to create a ME type habitat here in the US suitable only for Islamic citizens that still wipe their butts with their left hand, BTW. Iran’s nuke EMP exploded in orbit over the US will do just that. All I need now is for B.O. to tell us he will protect us by stopping them from launching their nuke into orbit, which takes the same equipment to nuke Israel, BTW.

“Israel are us” In terms of Iranian nuke delivery systems. Only difference is that Israel will shoot back. This should give us an idea of who gets hit first if we were smart enough to think. Is this the result of dope smoking? I hope someone don’t tell me that our subs will hit Iran back if they destroy our country with an EMP.

Our country is too stupid to survive in this world.

How comfortable are you with Obama – who says that America is not a Christian nation, who said that Bill Ayers was just some guy in the neighborhood and whose kids went to school with his, who says that Muslims have made great contributions throughout the history of America, who says that we are not at war with Islam, who says that Islamic State is not Islamic – making this deal with Iran? This deal is a pact, or is it a compact, among devils. I expect only great disasters to come from it.

Not comfortable at all. How long before Israel is attacked by Iran? Obama will be up there with Hitler in the history books, unless of course islam does conquer the world and then they will rewrite history however they wish. I just was watching CNN and the accolades for Obama for all the incredible things he has accomplished during his presidency were sickening. It must be nice to have the media as your cheerleader. The media like islam inverts truth.

Accolades to Obama for all the incredible things he has accomplished? If they call giving away the store or opening up the bank vault to whoever want some cash good things, then yes he has accomplished a hell of a lot. Has he made any deals that benefit, I mean something tangibly beneficial to, America? The situation we are in is like America’s being a sack full of treasure that Obama has somehow gotten possession of, and he cannot give away its content fast enough.

I suspect that somewhere down the line some of the Iranian weapon enrichment plants will go Chernobyl, Iranians will blame Israel, and Bibi will be all, like “who, us? We did nothing, blame yourselves for trying to develop a nuclear weapon and sucking at it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go and congratulate a team of spec-ops for the success of their latest covert mission”.

    Face The Truth,

China, Russia, America, Secular Pakistan, India, Israel, France, UK, and anyone else who currently possesses mukes (with possible exception of NK) are sane. MAD works for all sane people. MAD soes not work with insane people. We may not like the Chinese or Russians but they do not want to die.

The flaw in your defense of B.O. is that Iran is not sane. Please try to convince anyone that a population and leadership of a country that is waiting for their beloved Mahdi who will come out of a specific well only after they all precipitate their own destruction via armageddon, is sane.

NK is weak and is self contained and poor. Iran is not and B.O. is giving them an additional gift of $100 billion with this deal to help them to complete their nuke program to destroy us. Just ask Iran and they will tell you.

This deal is in fact the consumation of “Death to Amerika” which is B.O.’s wet dream. Iran now had our approval to destroy us. They will do it at a moment when they are ready. It will happen in the wink of an eye. It might take months, but 270 million people will likely die in the US. What will be left will be a chaotic fighting force strong enough to survive with no means to communicate beyond their local groups.

      >>Secular Pakistan

Jezzz… Have you been to Pakistan, Spotty? No, I thought not.

In reality Pakistan is as devoutly Muslim as you can possibly get, with continual persecution of the 1% of Christians and Ahmadi ‘muslims’. And the northeast is awash with eschatologists – those like the Iranian president I’m-a-dinnerjacket, who want to see the world destroyed.

The only saving grace in Pakistan is the military, which tends to be more secular than the population – just like the military in Egypt. But there are plenty of Pakistani military commanders who would like to see India and Israel both destroyed, so that is of little help.

      .

But you are right that once an eschatologist gets control of a nuke, the whole philosophy of MAD goes out of the window – because an eschatologists WANTS TO DESTROY THE WORLD, INCLUDING HIS OWN FAMILY. Which is why Israel WILL bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities before they are operational.

Honestly, what American citizen wants to let these rabid anti-American Iranian leaders race toward nuclear war and Armageddon? I can’t understand how this is anything but Barack Obama’s attempt to gain personal fame. Where are the US public opinion polls about this deal?

This is not government of the people, for the people. Quite the opposite.

This is like when the governor signs clemency on convicted murderers at 11pm on the night of his last day in office.

Why does Iran need centrifuges, to have nuclear power. All reprocessing could be done in the UK or US.

The only need to have centrifuges, is to enrich material to make a nuclear bomb.

Hussain Obama is perhaps the most dangerous person in the world today.

      “destabilizing the entire Middle East”

You mean it is STABLE NOW??
Destroying Iran’s nuclear installations does NOT mean “all-out war”, despite what Iranian propaganda
tells you. It has not the capacity to wage war on the USA, nor even Israel as it might invite nuclear retaliation. Sanctions should be kept and increased; the Iranian theocracy would collapse, in time.

The West has learned nothing from its grave error in allowing North Korea nuclear weapons…

    • JIMJFOX says

“Why does Iran need centrifuges”– to make fuel use in a fission reactor, firstly. AFAIK.

Most reactors need 3-5% U 235 to work- normally this is done by ‘enrichment’ of U 238 using high-speed centrifuges.
Further enrichment to 90%+ makes weapons- grade material but this is more usually made from plutonium as a by-product of the fission process.

“Natural uranium contains 0.7% of the U-235 isotope. The remaining 99.3% is mostly the U-238 isotope which does not contribute directly to the fission process (though it does so indirectly by the formation of fissile isotopes of plutonium). Isotope separation is a physical process to concentrate (‘enrich’) one isotope relative to others. Most reactors are Light Water Reactors (of two types – PWR and BWR) and require uranium to be enriched from 0.7% to 3% to 5% U-235 in their fuel.”

    So lets get this straight.

Germany has given up its nuclear power, because it is dangerous. And so now Germany burns brown coal, because it is dirty, bad for the environment and full of CO2.

So Germany tells Iran, which is sitting on a sea of cheap oil, to go nuclear – because nuclear is clean and safe.

Errr, does anyone else see a moral lie and a political fudge in this?

If I woke up one morning and and told people that GOD spoke to me in my dreams, my family would promptly take me to a DOCTOR who would prescribe the necessary medication in order to get rid of the hallucination. This is not the history of the Middle East but a fact. The Muslim view of history is whatever fantasy they can dream up. They blame the whole world for them being primitive. It is a plot by the rest of the world. Unfortunately for the World, the United States has a delusional, evil MUSLIM president. He is following other great leaders like, Neville Chamberland, and Jimmy Carter, We all know the consequences of their stupidity!
