On this episode of the Glazov Gang, I was joined by Raymond Ibrahim, a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. He came on the show to discuss Islamic Hate for the Christian Cross, unveiling what really lies behind Muslim hatred of the Crucifix.

“Islamic Hate for the Christian Cross — on The Glazov Gang” Yes, but what exactly DON’T they hate?
Edward says
“Yes, but what exactly DON’T they hate?”
They HATE themselves as well……enough self hate that they prefer their own death!
“They like death over love” the Muslim will proudly say!
Perhaps their self hate is indicative as to why when reading the Quran’s creation account:
“Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?” Quran 77:20
The “Islamic Hate for the Christian Cross — on The Glazov Gang’ – video is much telling. To think that all this deep hate was infused to society by just one hate maligned mongering individual.
The Law of Attraction professes simply that “if one denies the existence of something not desirable it does not exists.” PERIOD!

Islamic Hate for the Christian Cross = Islamic Hate for Christianity = Islamic Hate for Non-muslims
Fr. Basil says
St. Paul said, “The very word ‘Cross’ is foolishness to those who are perishing.” (as it reads in Slavonic)
How much more so its visual representation?
That’s because mahometans are perishing.
As far as loving death, God said through Solomon, “All who hate Me love death.”
Draw your on conclusions.

Raymond Ibrahim does a good job recounting all the varied manifestations of the Islamic antipathy to the Christian cross in Islamic history, texts, and recent news. His thoughts on why Muslims cultivate this antipathy seems to remain speculative: The antipathy could simply be synecdochal for a more generalized antipathy to Christianity itself; or it could simply reflect the doctrinal difference of the Islamic “Issa” vis-à-vis the Christian Jesus; or it could stem from the Islamic horror at what they think is “idolatry” (a species of Shirk). I don’t see why it can’t be all of the above (I could never understand this reflexive instinct to frame things in terms of Either/Or). In addition, beyond all these logical attempts at sense, I don’t think one ought to rule out a darker explanation, which I tentatively probed in a couple of essays on my blog:
Jihad at First Bite
Satan and Islam: another reverberation
(In the second one are further links to more essays in the same vein — “Islam’s Darker Source”, as well as “Islam and the Psychology of Satan: The Tragicomedy of Hell on Earth”).

That’s a really good point, voeg: why is it that Raymond Ibrahim, a researcher fluent in Arabic and author of 2013’s “Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians” sees things the way you claim he he does and not in the way that you do?
I say, that’s quite the head-scratcher…

It’s simply Islam’s/Muslim’s reaction and aversion to the truth. As we can see in the death sentence for apostasy. How the MSU and SJP react to those who expose this vile religion. It’s almost a defense mechanism. I think it all goes back to when the Jews refused to accommodate Mohammad. It was a blood feud from that moment on and passed down from generation to generation. It happened with Catholicism probably when people wanted to interpret the Bible in a different way which let to…….the “Reformation” that the two great religions have had and Islam hasn’t. “Abrogation”, etc.

I keep harping on the article Jihad in the Qur’an and Sunnah by Abdullâh bin Muhammad bin Humaid that I found in my Summarized Sahih Al Bukhari. Which I think should be “Exhibit A” when it comes to this “religion of peace” nonsense. I like to think that The 4th Conference of the Academy of Islamic Research: Arab Theologians on Jews and Israel. Sept. 1968 Translated by D.F. Green/David G. Littman, and is mentioned in Bostom’s Legacy of Antisemitism, rates as “Exhibit B”. http://supportsecurefreedom.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/Arab-Theologians-on-Jews-and-Israel-4th_Ed_082011.pdf
In my Bukhari one of the chapters following the one on jihad is Polytheism and Disbelief…..The Greatest Sin Against Allah. And talks about “this unpardonable Shirk” Shirk implies ascribing partners to Allah. i.e. Christians.
I wish there was more said on this book as the publisher (Dar-Us-Salam) is none other than the sinister, “moderate Muslim”, Abdul Malik Mujahid of Sound Vision. I might have my info screwed up, but I’m pretty sure that’s accurate.
