Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Jamie Glazov Moment – Why I Love Muslims, Part II

In this second part of The Glazov Gang‘s new feature, The Jamie Glazov Moment, I discuss “Why I Love Muslims, Part II,” building on the first part in which I emphasized why it is so important for freedom-loving people to stress that the threat facing western civilization is Islam the ideology, rather than a group of people.

In this segment, I explain the urgency of fighting the Left’s slanderous smears against real lovers of people and freedom.

    Jamie is spot on about the culture wars (like he said somewhere else, you don’t win it by canceling your cable subscription) and the people who would go out of their way to hate a newborn and label him/her as terrorist – such people play right into the hands of organizations like CAIR, who are eager to pass CounterJihadis as bigoted hatemongers.

      Perfectly, eloquently, laser-sharp put by Jamie! I enjoyed every bit of it.

      I always thought that this fight against the immense threat of Islam to humanity has to be smartly fought, given the amount of confusion, ignorance, obfuscation, deception in the leaderless west, in which we live today.

      We can not effectively fight Islam by lazily throwing everything together, its belief system, ideology and practicing devoted Muslims, on the one hand, with human beings who were simply born in this religion but who genuinely know nothing about it or unconsciously don’t believe in many of its teachings, which, for all practical reasons, mean that they are bad Muslims, not real Muslims.

      If the lines between these different parts become blurred or unclear to us, we will do more harm than good to the cause.

        Ah yes, thanks: the “bad Muslims” — must add that to my growing list of Permutations of the “Moderate Muslim” By Another Name (Still Smells the Same).

    I see Jamies point and maybe it’s semantics, but I do hate muslims. I don’t hate syrian secularists, or afghan apostates. I don’t hate egyptian copts or lebanese christians. I don’t hate arabs as people, but I do hate muslims that are in rape “grooming” gangs and I don’t care if it is cultural or religiously inspired. The beautiful little girl in the video that explains (parrots) why she hates jews-well I do hate the muslims that poisoned that childs mind and the scum that rape 9,10 or 12 year old girls in “marriage” or little boys “bazi boys” and then murder gay men when they are grown. I hate the devout muslims of IS that brainwash young boys as child soldiers to kill and suicide bomb. I don’t hate any newborn child and wish from the bottom of my heart that I could rescue them from the pedophilic, genocidal, hateful, murderous, perverse ideology that is islam. But I can’t and so they will grow up poisoned by this foul ideology to hate me and mine and want to kill or enslave us (and pray for it 5 times a day). I like the chinese as people and love the thais, I enjoy and am fascinated by indian history and culture. I admire the spirit of the afghans and the ancient civlizations of mesopotamia. My grandfather hated the Japs in 42 and I hated the V.C. in 70 but don’t now as we are at peace with them now. Maybe someday when we are no longer at war with islam I won’t hate them either, but since they have been making war on us for the last 1400 years I don’t see that day coming soon. I hope that we can educate and enlighten the people of the muslim empire so they will give up their hateful ideologyb but until that day I’m going to watch my fellow Kufirs back and keep my powder dry.

      Yes Tiredofstupid, but what about all the nice friendly Muslims who aren’t saying or doing anything “extremist” but just wanna have a sandwich? Those are the Muslims — millions and millions (as Carl Sagan used to say in those halcyon days before Muslims started fucking everything up) whom Jamie Glazov, and Mister “t.” (above in comments), and countless other asymptotics in the Counter-Jihad are so anxious to protect from our rightfully due condemnation as admirers of Islam, Allah, Koran and Muhammad.

      We must congratulate the asymptotics for coming up with a finer, subtler shade of lipstick (a pastel rose to go with their rose-colored glasses) to put on the pig.

    This is a war and the ultimate goal is to do whatever it takes to win. I don’t hate the children (I pity them) and I don’t hate the women who are trapped in an abusive situation they cannot get out of. I have a very hard time not hating the non-violent adult male and female enablers of jihad. Islam is like the Planned Parenthood situation. If you are not fighting against it then you are aiding and abetting it. Silence is not an option IMO. Silence helps jihad.

    However, as I said this is a war and it MUST be won. Selfishly indulging in my disdain for these people does nothing to help win the war and I have no control over whether these people are silent or not. I only have control over myself.

    A couple of months ago this website had a 3 part series by William Kilpatrick entitled “Needed: A New Church Policy Towards Islam” from which I take the following quote:

    Once you’ve studied up on Islam, the first thing you realize is that the key to sowing the seeds of disbelief is Muhammad himself… If he is discredited, Islam is discredited.

    Combine this with that fact that Mr. Spencer has stated that muslims must read the Koran in Arabic and many of them don’t actually know what it says suggests to me that trying to discredit Mohammad in the eyes of these muslims is a good strategy. Not the only strategy of course, but one of many. This war will not be won with emotion, it will be won with brain power, so if I have to struggle internally to keep my mouth shut about my disdain for muslims so be it. Nothing is lost by doing so and something might be gained.

    I respect what you are trying to do Jamie and I agree that we must figure out a way to get past the media’s road-blocks when discussing Islam.

    There are 3 issues:

    1. Are we blaming every Muslim for every terror attack?
    2. Are all Muslims “bad”?
    3. Are the Islamic terrorists “Islamic”, or in other words, is there a straight line from the Islamic texts to the terror attacks?

    My answers: 1. No, 2. No, 3. Yes.

    If you use the analogy of Nazis (which is a very close and appropriate analogy), not every Nazi is responsible for all Nazi terror, nor are all “bad” but that doesn’t diminish the fact that Naziism is a monstrous ideology.

    I think Jamie has it wrong: the main war of ideas in the media is not whether we are blaming all Muslims for Muslim terror (as we go out of our way every time to dispute), but rather the question of “Is Islamic terror Islamic”, or “does the Koran and hadith promote terror”. That is the main battle we have, and the fact of the matter is that ISIS, for example IS purely Islamic.

    But if the media’s lie (that Muslim terrorists are not Islamic) wins, then we are bigots, islamophobes, etc. And no progress is made towards a solution. And Islam deserves as much respect and rights as Christianity because it is just another religion of peace.

    So the key battle is “Is Islam a religion of peace?”, and not “Are we blaming all Muslims for terror?” which is just a red herring thrown out to throw us off track. Don’t take the bait, Jamie.

    The good thing is the clear, rock-solid evidence is on our side and available for everybody to read, the Koran, hadith, etc. Obviously the terror attacks are a direct result of the teachings of Mohammed, the same way the extermination of the Jews was a direct result of the doctrine of Nazziism.

      Jul 31, 2015 at 4:03 pm

      I think what might be happening when Muslims accuse us of blaming all Muslims for ISIS atrocities, is they think we are somehow saying that something is wrong with Islam when we see ISIS terror — which is exactly what we are saying.

      I agree with you that the pivotal point is whether Islam is inherently a religion of peace or not. OF COURSE it is a religion of violence, but the negative consequences to the Muslim makes it extremely difficult for him to admit (even though he knows it too). Instead he practices taqiyya and fights as hard as he can to silence all critics of Islam.

      So if Islam is a religion of violence (which it is) then what happens to the average Muslim if this fact becomes widely known and accepted? First of all he loses his religious protection. This is just because Islam is a fascist ideology, even if it has some religious aspects. And he gets treated as one who belongs to a fascist ideology. This is the only solution because it is based on reality and not lies and fantasies. And Islam becomes ostracized as it should.

      It is no wonder why they fight tooth and nail to maintain the lie that Islam is a religion of peace and throw out the red herring that we are talking about “all” Muslims when we criticize Muslim monsters.

    I agree with you, Jamie, 100%. However, I have some concerns about such attitude. First of all, where is guarantee that Muslim will even believe that sincere statement of “loving them”? Where is guarantee that they will use their taqiyya to cheat at the border that they have nothing to do with sharia or that they are not secret jihadists? It is in their very creed that lies can be spread in order to spread their Islam. And finally, most importantly, where is the guarantee that the Left will not use such sincere and good willing statement of yours to twist it their crooked way and turn it also against you and our whole conservative movement? Nobody, in my opinion, can guarantee that!

    So, although very sincere, whole effort can be as well as pointless. Yes, we must fight cultural war, with the left, and with their allies, Mohammedans (that is Muslims who strictly follow their founder. But we better learn how to do it from our Israeli friends who, although say that they want to be good neighbors with Arabs, but watch them very, very carefully, and on the border they know how to discover threat even before it will ever materialize.

    Sorry Jamie, but you are completely wrong in your very first postualatum there you say that someone can be BORN to be a muslim or a nazi. And as it is false ‘ ex falso quot libet’ av wrong premisses you can get ANY result. Mostly wrong, accidentally, by chance rigth, but usually NOT.

    Muslim or nazi will someone be later, lead by ones circumstances, family, social surroundings etc. But at the end it is always a choice! And if someone chooses to be a muslim or a nazi – you can’t LOVE that person, he/she is everything you are against.
    Islam is an ideology with some rituals that claims to be religion. But as a religion is an INTERNAL belief, islam is NOT, it is an external force to form the society. Peal off the religious rites – and you see the pure fascistic ideology – how can you claim you love people flollowing that?

    I believe Jamie is missing a few critical points. Most importantly islamic cultures ARE inferior to Western cultures. Stating otherwise simply destroys any other comments Jamie makes on the subject. The “cultural relativism” view is okay as far as it might aid in understanding why a person views values or events in a certain way different from other cultures, but trying to infer that all cultures are “equal” or “equally good and/or bad” I simply reject outright. Culturally speaking – rigid islamist societies are “equal” to Western democratic republican societies?? Really???? Jamie, get your head outta your hindside! Your essentially saying a nazi culture is equivalent to or equally as respectable as one built on liberty, freedom of religion and freedom of speech and freedom of choice! Have you read the qur’ran Jamie????

    I will agree that there are many “good” folks trapped by long standing familial cultural commitments, adopting islamic culture as a matter of course much as Christians in the West (and M.E.) often adopt their families’ religious and cultural inclinations. Of course the children are all innocent of the programming forced on them by their parents and imams. The only “good ones” though are those who in adulthood are enlightened enough to recognized the inherent evil in islam and have made no commitment in their hearts and minds to real qur’anic teachings. Of course this leaves them as no more than muslims in name only. Nazi Germany had many “nazis” of this type, but their “going along” or tacit approval of the nazi regime’s ideology often made them essentially as bad as the truly committed nazis themselves. The same holds true for the lax or “moderate” muslims who out of perhaps fear, ambivalence, or convenience choose to completely overlook the evil contained in the qur’an and instead quietly toe the line while claiming no association with the “hijackers” of their religion.

    Nope, Jamie, I can’t buy your thesis…islam is too dangerous an ideology, it’s too hard to identify who is a truly committed jihadist. Left unrestrained, the disease of islamic belief will lead inevitably to a major confrontation with Western Judeo-Christian belief and our commitment to freedom and representative democracy. I think in your zeal to win the short term cultural popularity contest you’ve lost sight of the fact that this is a war that has been boiling for more than 1300 years. As truly committed muslims have grown, in recent years, more willing to forcefully project the evil qur’anic ideology the more important it is for the believers in other faiths, freedom, liberty and Western ideals to stand more firmly than ever against the islamic cancer.

    This is a great message, and very important. Some Muslims respond to the high bar of ‘love thy neighbor’, and ‘return good for evil’. It’s an unexpected message, even fascinates them, and speaks to a longing in their heart. (And so difficult to live up to.) Contrasted with ‘a thousand years for revenge’, it may the best way to spark an interest in a new and better theology.

    Of course, one doesn’t walk into danger with a sappy grin on their face trying to be nice, like Omid Safi from Duke University prefers. The cult of niceness in our society is false love.

    I agree with much of what you say Jamie. You are absolutely correct that if the liberal-narrative were not in charge, then Robert Spencer would be educating our generals and other government officials as to the source and nature of the Islamic threat. He would be all over TV spear-heading the educational effort.

    However, I wonder how sincere (as opposed to purely reactionary) they are when they accuse us of “hating all Muslims”. This very closely related, if not exactly the same as calling us “Islamophobes”. I view this more as an insincere, offensive attempt on their part to discredit us. As such I think our response should be pointing out how it insincere mud-slinging.

    Perhaps we could explain until we are blue-in-the-face that we don’t “hate all Muslims” and their chance of accepting that is a snow-ball’s chance in hell.

    When we buy into this game: “you hate all Muslims”, “no I don’t”, we are side-tracked and stuck, which is exactly the point of them engaging in this tactic. I agree it would be great if we could get unstuck simply by denying it, but I am very skeptical.

    The other point which was mentioned above by fido is an important one, IMO. The honest truth is that a free society is MUCH superior to a Sharia one on a million different levels. This was a main point of Geert Wilders’ speech at the Garland Free-Speech Art Exhibition.

    We must tell it like it is and be tricked into adopting a dishonest politically correct position.

    That said, I applaud what you are doing Jamie. These questions must be thought about deeply and discussed rigorously. Our civilization depends on it.

    The whole idea of Islam – today – from a western point of view is packaged around the subject of racism.

    And it does not allow for any variation.

    For example even ex-Muslims are described as racist/Islamophobes – for sharing what they know about the religion – where it fall outside the political correct boundaries. And there is even talk about criminal charges being brought against ‘Islamophobes’.

    ::

    This is where the hard-Left become a tyranny. The most horrific acts in history have been carried out – often not because people believe they were doing wrong – but because people believe they are right. Make that absolutely right.

    Apples & Oranges

    The Left believe they are fighting on behalf of Muslims – but the Muslim ideas and the Leftist ideas are worlds apart.

    Sometime back – on Qaddafi’s Islamic outreach website – there was one statement – that read – “the ‘racists’ in Europe who reject Islam….”

    Here we have what is at least implied – that to reject Islam, to reject sharia rule in Europe – is an act of ‘racism’.

    If you had one of those Freedom House ‘Not Free’ stamps – you could stamp ‘Not Free’ all over this – but this is unwittingly the route the Left are taking.

    The anti-racism mechanism is being exploited for Islamic religious-political ends.

    Look at all the solutions for so-called Islamophobia – they involve the abolition of rights based laws and their replacement with the sharia.

    Enter the Left – partly political – to ensure they get every last Muslim vote – and the view that Muslims are inferior – as in mentally incapable/simple – so as to warrant special ethnic protection – in Europe there is the colonial guilt added to it. All of which form a kind of bed of hay – comfortable lodging or shelter for Muslim groups with the intention of seeing Islamic law imposed – and the formation of a sharia state.

    The Left’s role acts to remove the opposition and protect Islam in all respects – even if it runs counter to human rights and core western values.

    ::

    Operation Scorpion

    It’s all very Iranian revolution. Case in point East London Tower Hamlets – the climate was everything and all things that questioned Islam – was racism – and the Leftwing Labour government was riding high on this – counting the Muslim or sharia votes – then something happened – the Islamists – connected to the local East London mosque – usurped Labour and took control of the Tower Hamlet council for themselves. Then there were memos sent out to staff that stated – eating would be frowned upon or was forbidden during the Ramadan period – on the local government premises.

    Like the Iranian revolution these East London Muslim cabal no longer needed the Left.

    To their credit the Left and the Right of the aisle of this local London borough – combined forces to throw these Islamists bums out.

    ::

    Lock Step

    The religious-anti-racism stranglehold was such that no one on the Left could complain – even if they wanted to. It creates a climate of fear in which non-violent Islamists thrive. But also makes the Left out to be facilitators – that by their silence they are seen to give their tacit support to Islam’s excesses.

    They are so invested in this rose-colored glasses view of Islam – despite the Koran verse linked actions of the terrorists/fundamentalists, despite the accounts given by former Muslims, and even as their favorite/token Muslims are caught saying one thing to a western audience and another to all Muslim group – but to challenge this would be to fall into their own contraption – to be labeled a ‘racist’ and made up name ‘Islamophobe’.

    ::

    In the US the goal would be to change the Constitution – and the anti-racism campaigns could only take the sharia advocates so far.

    ::

    Shed the Anti-Racism Cover

    We live in democracies – I personally don’t think there is anything wrong with Muslims saying they want sharia law – but what I do think is wrong is that for others – Leftist-Islamic concerns – to say they think it is ‘racist’ to say that you don’t want sharia law.

    Muslim groups should not be able to hide sharia advocacy within anti-racism campaigns.

    Put is on the table – tell us why you think western rights based laws are wrong. And why you think theocratic sharia laws are better. Let these Muslim groups come out from behind the Leftists skirts – and say what they want and put it to the polls.

    But to put religious ideas into the political arena – is to have them openly questioned, criticized, dissected and even mocked – to further their religious political ideas behind the cover of anti-racism – Muslim groups likely reason this is the safest route to go. In this respect a lot has to hinge on the hope of a Constitutional change – to silence dissent and usher in this alternate Islamic utopian vision.

    ::

    Humanity the Mighty River ~ the Obstacle Islam

    As for loving Muslims – humanity is Islam’s biggest foe. A person has to be encouraged to become a radical. To become radicalized is to turn against wider humanity – supposedly to reach the supremacy that Islam brings – where the most horrific crimes against humanity are justified or sanctioned – in the protection or furtherance of Islam and Muslims.

    After 1400 years Muslims haven’t managed to get the perfect Islamic state up and running – and are still peddling the idea to anyone who would listen – is because common humanity is its biggest obstacle – not Israel, not the youthful US.

    Muslims love to lazily say ‘God willing’ – the answer is in there. There was no will to see the entire world handicapped and trembling under the Islamic religious code of conduct. Where there is no coercive action – given the choice – most choose the right to be free.

    Spot on, Jamie. This perspective can be the basis of any solution to wipe off terrorism & jihad from western societies. No culture can reconcile with islamic. Maybe you must go a step further. Only those muslims who explicitly alienate themselves from islam should be welcome. Otherwise, they could be sleeper cells, waiting to be activated.
