Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Obama Administration blocks attempts to fly heavy weapons to Kurds to fight the Islamic State

Jul 2, 2015 4:43 pm By Robert Spencer

obama-finger-“There is simply no strategic approach. There is a lack of coordination in selecting targets, and there is no overall plan for defeating Isil.” Indeed. The President keeps forcing people to ask the question, Which side is he on?

“US blocks attempts by Arab allies to fly heavy weapons directly to Kurds to fight Islamic State,” by Con Coughlin, Telegraph, July 2, 2015:

The United States has blocked attempts by its Middle East allies to fly heavy weapons directly to the Kurds fighting Islamic State jihadists in Iraq, The Telegraph has learnt.

Some of America’s closest allies say President Barack Obama and other Western leaders, including David Cameron, are failing to show strategic leadership over the world’s gravest security crisis for decades.

They now say they are willing to “go it alone” in supplying heavy weapons to the Kurds, even if means defying the Iraqi authorities and their American backers, who demand all weapons be channelled through Baghdad.

High level officials from Gulf and other states have told this newspaper that all attempts to persuade Mr Obama of the need to arm the Kurds directly as part of more vigorous plans to take on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) have failed. The Senate voted down one attempt by supporters of the Kurdish cause last month.

The officials say they are looking at new ways to take the fight to Isil without seeking US approval.

“If the Americans and the West are not prepared to do anything serious about defeating Isil, then we will have to find new ways of dealing with the threat,” said a senior Arab government official. “With Isil making ground all the time we simply cannot afford to wait for Washington to wake up to the enormity of the threat we face.”…

The US has also infuriated its allies, particularly Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the Gulf states, by what they perceive to be a lack of clear purpose and vacillation in how they conduct the bombing campaign. Other members of the coalition say they have identified clear Isil targets but then been blocked by US veto from firing at them.

“There is simply no strategic approach,” one senior Gulf official said. “There is a lack of coordination in selecting targets, and there is no overall plan for defeating Isil.”

    I’d sure like to hear the explanation for Obama’s actions. What possible reason could there be, if the objective is to defeat the Islamic State? We need to stir up our Congress to take some action, conduct a Congressional investigation. I don’t understand why this isn’t treason. Not only is Obama not really trying to defeat IS, but he is stopping others from doing so. That’s aiding and abetting the enemy.

        I don’t understand why some journalist hasn’t asking him this already or at least asked the question on their news.
        Could it be that the elites are in control of everything now? There are only a small number of people trying to get the word out like Alex Jones, Michael Savage and of course Robert and Pamela.
        These voices might not be reching enough people and that’s where we come in. We must spread the word as far and wide as possible. I try to tell as many people as I can about JW and Pamela’s site and urge them to come here and get the truth. I have just spoken to someone at work about this crisis. This is not the only person I have spoken to but the latest.

      Indeed, Obama should spend the rest of his reign under impeachment proceedings and investigations before it is cut short. But you see, he know that’s not going to happen, so he now acts with impunity. Can you imagine the massive riots that would break out were he brought to justice? The race-riots we’ve seen so far would be absolutely NOTHING compared to that! And those who would bring him to justice are absolutely terrified of that being linked to that sort of thing. So the Obama regime’s activities will continue to spiral out of control, aiding and abetting the advance of Islam across the globe and in America.

      Blowback.

      The enemy or our enemy is not necessarily our friend, especially in the long term.

      The Kurds have a long list of weapons they would like us to provide. Some are out of the question. Some are worth considering. Some are already being provided.

      Another reason is the maintenance of Iraq as a nation, or at least a strong federation of some kind. We greatly limit our direct aid to factions and prefer to funnel weapons through the central government, such as it is.

One wonders of the Boston Bombing could have been prevented – did the agents who received Russia’s warnings on the Tsaernev brothers knew what jihad was?

        To: Stardusty Psyche

        You have stated your intention to be an objective gadfly on this site. I’ll take you at your word.

        Has the Obama administration contributed to the safety of the US population against jihad attacks?

        If you look into the foiled attacks, you’ll see that most of those were perpetrated by jihadists who were not so bright, and who included government agents as their confidants.

        However, the major attacks by people of normal intelligence were successful. The Fort Hood shooting and the Boston Marathon bombing. In both cases, US intelligence agencies had ample warning of the nature of the jihadist, and in both cases were compelled for reasons of political correctness to drop their investigations.

        In 2011, the Obama White House issued an official declaration that Islamic doctrine could no longer be mentioned in training materials for security officials. That means, there is no way for security officials to recognize undercover jihadists with a commitment to perpetrate an act of terrorism when convenient. Both Major Hassan and Tamerlane Tsarnaev were identified by their adherence to Islamic doctrine prior to their acts.

        Muhammad Elibiary, a known Muslim Brotherhood operative, was given a special position at the Department of Homeland Security, with access to classified information. He was forced to resign only because of a blatant misuse of classified information, which he offered to news outlets in an attempt to discredit opponents of Islamization.

        Obama, at the UN, declared “The future must not belong to those who slander Islam.” What the hell type of statement is that for a US President to make? The UN is an essential component for a well-organized and official attempt by Islamic countries to outlaw any criticism of Islam. Obama’s Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, used her influence to pressure other countries to enact laws against religious criticism that would clearly be unconstitutional in the US.

        And this is Obama, protector of US security and Constitutional liberties.

        As far as supporting the government of Iraq by funneling weapons through it.

        It’s obvious the government of Iraq has very little influence over the region. The Middle East is tribal above all, and ethnic enclaves like the Kurds offer the best hold of holding ISIS to boundaries. To claim that making the Iraqi government the sole conduit for arms to the Kurds will strengthen the Iraqi government is exactly like saying that denying the obviously Islamic nature of ISIS will strengthen Islamic moderates.

        We don’t have allies in the Middle East (except Israel) but we do have associates. Saudi Arabia is threatened by ISIS because ISIS takes its mission of Islamic revolution a bit too seriously for the comfortable, fabulously-wealthy, aristocracy of Wahabi Saudi Arabia. We can definitely work with the Saudis as long as we understand they cannot be trusted.

        That assumes that the Obama administration is really committed to defeating ISIS. I don’t think it’s productive to go into the psychology of Obama or his officials, but one can look at the record and see that the Obama administration has supported Muslim Brotherhood groups and objectives at every opportunity. It makes sense to assume they will do so in the future.

          Jul 6, 2015 at 12:43 pm

          Hi RonaldB,
          Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful post.

          “Has the Obama administration contributed to the safety of the US population against jihad attacks?”

          Yes.

          Evidence: We have not had any major attacks on our homeland.

          I would say Bush failed in that regard in his early administration but succeeded thereafter.

          Also, very importantly to me, Obama is conserving the lives of our service members by not sending large numbers of ground forces into Iraq.

          Indeed, some have called Iraq a phony nation or a concocted nation and nobody could reasonably disagree with your observations of divides between factions and how tenuously at best Iraq is held together. That is why people like Obama were against our invasion which destabilized Iraq. But that is water over the dam. Obama inherited a disastrous mistake by his predecessor that he had voted against, and he has done his best to deal with that mistake. He did not simply pull the plug. We left Iraq with a functioning national government, free elections, and a strong military possessing a 10 to 1 advantage over IS. It held up fairly well by mid-east standards for a couple years but when a relatively small number of devoutly religious fundamentalists on a mission from god attacked the Iraqi military turned and ran.

          So, what has Obama done? He stopped IS from advancing further in Iraq. If he were really the closet Muslim so many accuse him of he could have just pleaded non-interference, sent some token aid, and sat back and watched IS roll over the whole of Iraq.

          Obama did a sort of “just right porridge” response. Not too cold, so he stopped the advance of IS in Iraq, not too hot so Iraqis had to get back in the fight themselves.

          The Iraqis are fighting back, they took Tikrit but lost Ramadi, again because 2000 men ran when attacked by 200 men. They have now regrouped and are attacking IS in Ramadi and Falluja.

          I will remind our friends here that Ramadi is not in the USA, UK or the West. When it fell American civilian lives were not lost, American territory was not lost. And importantly to me, the lives of American service members were not lost.

          I don’t want more of our fine young people coming home in coffins for a people in a foreign land who will not stand and fight for themselves. We have 3500 people on the ground now in Iraq. They have conducted some successful missions, but large numbers of American infantry moving through Iraq will result in more American losses, and Obama is fulfilling his obligation to avoid wasting the lives of our military personnel.

          The “nothing to do with Islam” lie served the diplomatic purpose of facilitating a coalition of Arab kings against IS. They are not our friends or allies, but Obama has organized them along with America and the West into a coalition of military partners.

          The Big Lie is indeed more than a little annoying and it has just about worn out its welcome. The republican candidates are going squarely against it and while the incumbent late in his second term can brush them aside the democratic candidates will not be able to do so. I predict this election cycle will see the demise of The Big Lie and the Arab kings will not pull out of the coalition now established because IS has a bead on them too, as you correctly noted above.

          As far as the Kurds and weapons, we really need to use caution dumping more arms into another Muslim majority sect that at this moment is fighting our enemy. Some folks here objected my use of the term “blowback” thinking it was only appropriate for covert operations, but the point is that weapons we provide to apparent allies can end up being used against us.

          The dissolution of Iraq may indeed be inevitable, but at this point we could easily have an Iranian dominated East and an IS West and a Kurdish North so it is in our interest to try to maintain a national government in Iraq that will fight IS and not be completely dominated by Iran.

          Sorry Ronald if this turned in to a long opinion piece and I hope I covered the issues you raised.

          I think IS revealed more than they wanted to in their opeing paragraph, which I think is indicative of the damage Obama is doing:
          As the crusaders continue to reveal
          their intense hatred and animosity
          towards Islam through their relentless
          bombing and drone campaigns on the
          Islamic State, a new breed of crusader
          continues shedding light on the extent
          of their hatred towards the religion of
          truth.
          http://media.clarionproject.org/files/islamic-state/isis-isil-islamic-state-magazine-issue%2B9-they-plot-and-allah-plots-sex-slavery.pdf

          The pictures and graphs in the latest issue of Dabiq show the intense hatred IS has for Obama and the coalition his Big Lie has facilitated constructing.

    Of course by not helping the Kurds, this war is not winnable. Obama knows that. It looks like their hope is to steer the war to the remaining part of Syria so ISIS go and hit Bassar. Isis will die out because they have attacked Egypt which is militarly a lot more organized than Iraq and Syria. Simple — he is on the side of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the current president of Turkey. To enable the Kurds to build a fighting force capable of defeating ISIS would empower them enough to imperil Turkish dominion over that part of Turkey inhabited by their people. Can’t have that, even if it does empower ISIS instead.

A couple or so weeks back the Senate blocked an amendment that would have allowed the Obama administration to send direct aid to Kurdish peshmerga forces in Iraq. The Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga under Barzani are allied to Turkey and Erdogan. They have billions of dollars in trade with Turkey and sell oil to Turkey and helped the Turks against the PKK.

      It is Syrian Kurds and Kurds in Turkey who belong to the anti-Turkish PKK organization. The PKK hate being called Peshmerga, they are rivals to the Iraqi Kurdistan run by Barzani and play no part in the governance of Iraqi Kurdistan.

      Iraqi Kurdistan under Barzani has been antagonizing the pro-Iranian Shia government and has been seeking aid from Turkey in its efforts to do it.

      Meanwhile PKK is friendlier to the “resistance axis” of Syria and Iran. PKK Kurds fought alongside Armenian ASALA and Palestinian PLO against israel in Lebanon in the 1980s. They were trained and aided by Syria. PKK linked HPD in Turkey praised the resistance axis and Hezbollah.

      Iraqi Kurds belong to the Shafi’i Madhhab and are therefore notorious for their widespread practice of female circumcision. Their women cut the clitorises off their daughters. That is something their Hanafi and Shia Arab neighbors in Iraq don’t practice.

    Obama, as usual, is in way over his head. However, there is no optimal solution here (or even semi-optimal solution), once again principally because of how screwed up the Islamic world is. Even a Truman or an Eisenhower would be taxed to the max here, and both of these former Presidents were giants compared to Obama.

    If America aids the Kurds (who are Muslim so let’s not forget this), it alienates Turkey which, deeply unfortunately, is in NATO (ah, detect the ripple effects already?), though personally I would risk this were I Chief Executive and supply the Kurds with all they need, even if I had to officially deny I was doing so. If Obama does not aid the Kurds, he even further alienates SA and the Gulf states who want Kurdish proxies to fight ISIS because they are, so far and as usual, only too willing to pass on a difficult problem to others (and, to boot, a problem which to at least some extent is one of their own making). Obama is also stupidly concentrating on negotiations with Iran for either idiotic or nefarious reasons (no third set of reasons exist) and this functions as a factor too in what this profoundly limited man will do or not do.

    So, sometimes life leaves you no good options. This becomes even more complicated when: 1) the most powerful nation in the world has a complete fool for its leader; and 2) a major religion exists which is as effed up as a religion can be and then some.

    You know, the world is a mess, courtesy of many things like Islam, pathetic Western leadership and traditional authoritarianism emanating from nations that have no regard for liberty (e.g., Russia under Putin), all rearing their disparate and dysfunctional heads yet again. So, what to do? Well, embrace family and friends, enjoy the little things in life, stay skeptical but don’t get bitter inside, hope somehow mankind will weather yet another collective idiocy, and have a fine libation like a Yuengling Porter, which I’m just about to do.

      Turkey’s membership in NATO is, ironically, seen as important because it allegedly brings stability into the region. When will they learn?

      Turkey might be a NATO country but they are Islamists at heart. The new batch of Turks in government are radical and hate the west so who cares if we piss them off.
      Many Turks themselves now have become more Islamic and approve of the government. Turkey is a threat to Europe so sucking up to Turkey is dangerous.
      The west must fight ISIS and wipe them out because we owe it to the Christians and other non Muslims in that region. We made the mess by supporting Muslim Brotherhood in the first place.

      Well stated Wellington.
      Those who think that we can live with ISIS really are in a race to the bottom of human dignity; jettisoning our basic human values as we steer towards a landing in a degraded middle east landscape. If the Obama leadership are adamant about keeping U.S. and western allies boots off the ground then the alternative, apart from capitulation, is to back those in the region who want to fight. Most of the Kurdish fighters have come from secular armed political groups battling for regional autonomy and are skilled combatants who have, like ourselves, been largely taken by surprise by the rise and rapid spread of ISIS. They are allies and ought to be armed and supplied by us in order to do their job, much as we supplied Soviet Forces to meet their shortfall in trucks, medical supplies and virtually whatever they urgently required during the hour of our greatest need in WW2. Apart from Kurdish forces, the other group of professional soldiers ready to fight are Syrian National Forces. The continuing civil war in Syria is a gift to ISIS to advance its march onto Damascus. Russian and U.S. intransigence and diplomatic stalemate are helping to bleed dry the most loyal segment of Syrian society.

And, when the Iraqis “battle” ISIS, they flee the battlefield, leaving behind all our weaponry for ISIS to pick up, even when the Iraqis vastly outnumber the attacking ISIS.

Let it become a confederation of three peoples it will likely work best for everyone. Kurds are renown as fierce fighters and Saddam Hussein had to resort to chemical weapons and still didn’t conquer all of it. I firmly believe that Obama doesn’t want ISIS taken out, at least now. He refuses to supply the one and one faction with military success against them. He reuses to bomb legitimate targets. Our own officers are beginning to talk. The amount of bombs dropped are negligible. So it doesn’t exactly look like this President is seeking to destroy the enemy perhaps because he may not see them as such or his friends in the Muslim Brotherhood don’t want harm to come to them. They can create chaos and instability within Egypt. It should clear to each General Officer in the Pentagon and down to Lt Col what must be done. This is coming from Obama.

        Hi “esquire”
        The First Amendment denies “Judeo-Christian foundation of our beloved country”.

        For a claimed lawyer you seem to know little of Jefferson’s “wall of separation between Church & State” or the amendment that protects it.

        “Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.”

          – No, it does not.

          A general American history snapshot is provided as follows:

          1. Though having been approved on July 4, 1776, four days later, the signers took the Declaration of Independence outside Independence Hall and read it to the crowd. When they finished reading it, the bell rang out. We call that bell the Liberty Bell, but we do so specifically because of the Biblical inscription that was purposefully engraved on it for that occasion: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land, to all the inhabitants thereof.” (Leviticus 25:10) (Paraphrased from David Barton, “America’s Godly Heritage.”)

          2. The words “separation,” “church,” or “state” appear nowhere in the First Amendment or in any other founding document. In debates, held from June 7 through September 1789, specifically focusing on the purpose of that amendment, two specific areas were made clear: (1) The federal government was prohibited from establishing a national denomination and (2) barred from interfering with or limiting the people’s public religious expressions. Thirteen years after the First Amendment was written, Thomas Jefferson wrote the phrase “separation of church and state” in a private letter. That letter was written to the Danbury Baptists on January 1, 1802 to assure them that the government would not interfere with their inalienable right of free exercise of religion. (Paraphrased from David Barton, “America’s Godly Heritage.”)

          Here is that letter in full:
          Thomas Jefferson’s Letter to the Danbury Baptist Association
          To messers. Nehemiah Dodge, Ephraim Robbins, & Stephen S. Nelson, a committee of the Danbury Baptist association in the state of Connecticut.
          Gentlemen
          The affectionate sentiments of esteem and approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist association, give me the highest satisfaction. My duties dictate a faithful and zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, & in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more and more pleasing.
          Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ʺmake no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,ʺ thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.
          I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection & blessing of the common father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves & your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem.

          3. George Washington, in his Farewell Address said: “Of all the dispositions and habits, which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of Men and Citizens. The mere Politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connexions with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked, Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths, which are the instruments of investigation in Courts of Justice? And let us with caution indulge the supposition, that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect, that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”

          Hi Cecilia,
          Right, Jefferson clarified his meaning of the words as a “wall of separation between Church & State”.

          Our country’s founding is in its laws. Our supreme law is our constitution. The author of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom which predated the First Amendment gave us a clear juxtaposition of 2 different and separate entities…church and state.

          Our country was founded explicitly not on church, rather opposed to the church being at all a part of state, the two being separated by Jefferson’s wall.

          Many of the founders were deists, Washington stopped attending, and there were many who were devout Christians. But we are a nation of laws, not of men.

          We are not a christian nation, we are a secular nation, and founded as such.

          Christian Group Reviews Obama History, Writings, and Interviews
          To Expose Presidential Candidate’s Disingenuous Religious Proclamations

          Barack Obama, the Democratic candidate for president of the United States, has repeatedly claimed to be a Christian, but there is more evidence disputing that declaration than affirming it according to Dr. Gary Cass, Chairman and CEO of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission.

          Dr. Cass observes, “From his speeches and his writings, even his personal history—despite protestations to the contrary—it appears that Obama’s ‘Christianity’ is carefully constructed to appease traditional American voters.”

          Americans expect their leaders to embody Judeo-Christian ideals and beliefs, so it is important for Obama to be perceived as a practicing Christian. Every one of the forty-three United States presidents, regardless of political party, has mentioned God in his inaugural address. George Washington, the hero of the American Revolution, the first president of the United States, and often referred to as the ‘Father of Our Country’ stated: “It is impossible to properly govern without God and the Bible.”

          Dr. Cass summarizes: “Here’s a man, Obama, who desperately needs to convince half the voters in the United States that he believes in something that he doesn’t truly understand…even two decades after his alleged conversion to Christianity.”

          Unfortunately for Obama, it is not his political opponents who expose this fiction, it is his own words, as well as those of his friends and family.

[T]his is a Christian nation.” (See “Church of the Holy Trinity v. U. S, 143 U. S. 457, 465, 471 (1892).)

          Hi Cecilia,
          I think a shortcoming in our conversation is the lack of clear definitions of “nation” and “founding”.

          If you consider our nation to be the sum of its people then we are a christian majority nation, not a christian nation in any exclusive sense.

          If you consider our nation as the legal entity The United States of America then we are a nation of laws, not of individuals. The United States of America as it is constituted and structured in law is most certainly not a Christian nation and is in fact explicitly separated from any religion.

          Our nation as the United States of America, a legal entity, was certainly not founded as a Christian nation. As individuals, many if not most of those who worked to create our nation undoubtedly applied their Christian sensibilities in their founding endeavors.

          – Again, I say, this: America was absolutely founded on Judaeo-Christian principles. (See my replies at 4:28 a.m. and 7:12 p.m. on July 3, 2015.) To ensure that JW readers are presented the evidence that supports my premise, I provide the following extract from a speech given by John Quincy Adams on July 4, 1837:

          “Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the World, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day [i.e., on the Fourth of July]? Is it not that in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer’s mission upon earth? That it laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity?” ( Complete text of speech may be viewed at following link: http://www.wallbuilders.com/libissuesarticles.asp?id=9717.)

          John Quincy Adams, the son of John Adams, clearly understood both what the signers of the Declaration of Independence and what the framers of the Constitution of the United States meant when they debated and produced those documents. They all knew what principles upon which this nation was founded; that knowledge permeated their understanding of “nation” and “founding.”

          John Jay, appointed the first Supreme Court Chief Justice by George Washington in 1789, had this to say about his understanding of Christian “nation” in a personal letter to John Murray, written on October 12, 1816:

          “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” (Complete text of letter may be viewed at following link: http://oll.libertyfund.org/titles/2330/220814#lf1530-04_head_196.)

          Given the above examples from those who actually had an understanding of what they meant when they debated, established, and promulgated the founding documents, I emphatically say in conclusion: The United States is a Christian nation and it was specifically established to be as such.

          Hi Cecilia Ellis,
          I appreciate your passion and the evidence you bring but I must just as emphatically disagree with you.

          As a legal entity, a nation state, The United States of America, our supreme law is our constitution. The Declaration of Independence is not a controlling legal document. Religion in government is mentioned only in the negative in our constitution in Article 6 and in the 1st Amendment.

          There is most certainly nothing mentioned about any Jewish laws or any of the teachings of Christ in the constitution. And the DoI only mentions “Laws of Nature”, “Nature’s God” and “creator” which sounds like a deistic or naturalistic reference.

          Individuals may feel they acted upon Judeo-Christian values during the founding of the USA, but those principles were explicitly excluded from our supreme governing document..

          So, I think it is very important to define terms in a discussion of this kind or we will be continually talking at cross purposes. As a set of laws, a nation state, The United States of America as defined in our supreme governing document is explicitly not a religious entity of any kind, most certainly not Jewish or Christian and was founded as such from the original 7 articles.

Please try and tell me that Al-Qaeda mark ii (AKA ISIS AKA ISIL) is not simply another CIA operation. (Do weapons and armies simply flourish overnight out of the desert?)

    Obama couldn’t get support to invade Syria, so they needed a bigger bogeyman, something everyone will hate. Cue: ISIS. Now they want to let things get really bad so the American people will demand an invasion of Syria, takedown Bashar, install a Sunni puppet. and move on to the next target: Iran.

    Interesting to note, that Turkey are using ISIS to fight the Kurds for them. Being a NATO ally, the USA is probably at pains not to upset the applecart by supporting the Kurds. There are even reports that Turkey is aiding and abetting ISIS. American arms to ISIS does not sound so far-fetched. This is all just pure pure evil and you Americans keep on voting for it.

    Ah, yes, silly me. Our European and NATO allies in Turkey back ISIS and want to see the Kurds wiped out, and so will not lift a finger to defeat ISIS. No wonder Obama likes Turkey, they are on the same side.

    And regards the recent Turkish declaration to move into Syria to ‘create a 20-mile buffer zone’, this is not an anti-ISIS policy at all. This is a simply a Turkish land-grab, to further the aims of a neo-Ottoman Caliphate.

    Although I have to add that the although the Sunni Turks share the dreams and goals of Sunni ISIS, the Turks also hate the Arabs on a cultural level. So whether the Turks can hold an alliance with ISIS for any length of time is another matter entirely.

    Heaven knows, I *loathe* obama and camoron, but I cannot see any advantage to us in arming the Kurds.

    I take Mr Jihadski’s point that there is a large minority of Christians and Yazidis, but nevertheless, the *majority* of Kurds are sunni muslims.

    muslims always revert to type. If we arm them, they will eventually turn and rend the hand that feeds them; it’s the nature of the beast. We have seen it over and over again. Time to learn from experience.

    No, what the West should be doing is a) arm the *Christians*, or b) airlift the Christians and Yazidis out of there, into the West. With of course, appropriate safeguards to ensure no muslims manage to slip under the radar.

    No Western nation should be militarily involved in what’s going on over there. Certainly not on the sode of any *muslim* group. In my opinion, it’s basically a muslim turf war over who gets to be the alpha dog. I say leave them to it.

      Yes, also known as blowback.

        Yes, also known as blowback.”

        ”Blowback is unintended consequences of a covert operation that are suffered by the aggressor. To the civilians suffering the blowback of covert operations, the effect typically manifests itself as “random” acts of political violence without a discernible, direct cause; because the public—in whose name the intelligence agency acted—are unaware of the effected secret attacks that provoked revenge (counter-attack) against them.[1]”

        ‘sp’ never seems to tire of exhibiting his stupidity and lack of comprehension.

        Arming the Kurds, as described in the article, is by no means a ”covert operation” that the ”public … are unaware of.”

        It is, in fact, a very public discussion as to the merits and demerits of such an action.

        *My* point was that to **arm muslims, ever, always turns out disastrously for those who arm them, because as **muslims** they have no concept of gratitude or loyalty to anything except the ummah**. Consequently *we* would gain no advantage from getting further involved in a muslim turf war, over who gets to be the islamic alpha dog.

          Also, Stardusty supports Muslims qua Muslims — so he cannot object to arming the Kurds on that basis, but must find some other reason, unrelated to the fact that they are Muslims. I.e., he and his ilk are forever on a goose chase ignoring the reality of the buck-naked Emperor With No Clothes.

          One isn’t sure which came first, the chicken or the egg: Are Stardusty and his ilk pro-Muslim because they think like Humpty Dumpty (or like the cut-ups in Alice’s Wonderland), or does their spontaneously instinctive inclination to be pro-Muslim result in their perversions of language (not to mention sense & sensibility) as they go into yoga-pretzels and feats of taffy-pulling of logic in order to force the data of reality into the dictates of their paradigm? I think it depends on whether the individual in question is a stone cold Leftist who drinks his civilizational self-hatred black; or his more diluted, decaffeinated cousin, the PC MC who adds generous dollops of the cream & sugar of buffers to the anti-West revolt against the very order from which he has become so parasitically accustomed to find his neo-Yuppie succor & sustenance from. Stardusty would be the former, the stone cold Leftist who drinks his civilizational self-hatred black – that is, if he were up front about it. The fact that he masks this in a thousand ways with clever circumlocutions, prevarications, equivocations, and obfuscations – all the while affecting an ingenuous sincerity that doesn’t jibe with the floridly serpentine sophistication he came to the party with, indicating the deeper, darker veins of Marxism beneath Leftism.

          “…all gibberish, drivel, and nonsense.

          I responded to the only intelligible sentence I could find in your post.”

          My comment may have been convoluted and may have used many unfamiliar terms; but it is quite patently not “nonsense”. Since Stardusty Psyche (SP) is intelligent (and quite clever and crafty to boot), we then reasonably conclude he is lying when he declares that what I wrote is “nonsense” and not intelligible.

          Let’s map out and parse my comment to show the sense & intelligibility:

          Are Stardusty and his ilk pro-Muslim because they think like Humpty Dumpty (or like the cut-ups in Alice’s Wonderland), or …

          This excerpt begins an Either/Or rhetorical question (signaled by the “Are” at the beginning and the “or” at midpoint. It is asking about “Stardusty and his ilk” — of course SP knows what this means — so right off the bat, his statement is clearly wrong, that all else past the “chicken and egg” opening are not intelligible. And what do I ask about “Stardusty and his ilk”? I ask whether they are pro-Muslim because they are like Humpty Dumpty (harking back to Mirren’s response to SP, obviously — another subtlety hardly so exceedingly subtle that someone as crafty & clever as SP couldn’t grasp it).

          My sentence then continues:

          “…or does their spontaneously instinctive inclination to be pro-Muslim result in their perversions of language (not to mention sense & sensibility) as they go into yoga-pretzels and feats of taffy-pulling of logic in order to force the data of reality into the dictates of their paradigm?”

          Surely SP knows what sense, for example, “spontaneously instinctive inclination” intends. It intends an inclination, which I modify as “spontaneously instinctive” (the modification may slow down the reader a tad, as he tries to figure out what I meant by it, but it doesn’t render the sense of “inclination” suddenly nonsensical, as SP in his silly dismissal implies). And what inclination am I referring to? Why the inclination I mentioned clearly in my preceding sentence, the inclination to be pro-Muslim. So far, eminent & elementary sense.

          And what am I asking, about this inclination to be pro-Muslim? I am asking if this inclination results in (surely SP knows what “results in” means…) their perversions of language (surely SP knows that the subject, “their”, refers to himself and his ilk — surely his attention span isn’t that short?). I further describe those perversions of language in fancifully metaphorical terms of “yoga-pretzels and feats of taffy-pulling of logic”. Nothing “nonsenical” here. The fanciful metaphors here need not distract the reader into bewilderment; they are just (and obviously) alluding to extravagant forms of logic that indulge in obfuscation & denial. There may be insinuations here with which SP viscerally disagrees; but not “nonsense” as he disingenuously claims.

          And so forth. The rest of my comment is no different. When one examines it closely with unremarkable intelligence, one finds eminent and elementary sense; not the “nonsense” which SP disingenuously claims it all amounts to. The question then becomes: Why would someone of SP’s evident intelligence and sophistication lie like this? The only reasonable conclusion is that he wants to avoid confronting the content of my comment, and would rather dismiss it with a baldfaced lie than engage with it. Most telling.

    The conspiracy theorists who make the radical charge that Barack Hussein is a Moslem are having a field day with this. Although they must acknowledge that Kurds are Moslems, too. But he is as friendly as possible to the New Caliphate and its recently self-renamed visionary leader Caliph Ibrahim.

    That policy is akin to another where Barack Hussein’s loyalty to freedom comes into question. Recall that he dropped charges against the two New Black Panther thugs who stood at a Philadelphia voting place carrying truncheons. The federal felony criminal case against the two was a slam dunk and they were looking at time in the federal Pokey, but he let them off. If it had been two KKK soldiers, there would’ve been a national outcry and prison time being served now.

    Barack Hussein does not value law, and thereby does not value freedom. The Philadelphia episode proves beyond doubt that he is a racist. And as with everything else, he’s a phony black racist because his mother was white. A fake black dude fake college professor fake legislator fake author but a real fake, he is no fake globo-socialist. That part is real. As such, he stands against the rule of law above the rule of men, and thus against freedom.

    And that makes the perfect breeding ground for Moslem activists. The moron has a script, it’s a high minded take the low road script, a movie surely headed to a very nasty ending, but by then he’ll have his feet up on the table in his new oceanside mansion in California.

        Hi Eventhorizon,
        If quote mining and copying snippets from crackpot conspiracy theory websites were are legitimate form of argumentation, then you would have some valid points.

        Life on the edge apparently has you stretched beyond reason.

        http://www.patheos.com/blogs/thedudeabides/obama-on-faith-the-exclusive-interview/
        OBAMA:

        I am a Christian.

        So, I have a deep faith. So I draw from the Christian faith.

        On the other hand, I was born in Hawaii where obviously there are a lot of Eastern influences.

        I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, between the ages of six and 10.

        My father was from Kenya, and although he was probably most accurately labeled an agnostic, his father was Muslim.

        And I’d say, probably, intellectually I’ve drawn as much from Judaism as any other faith.

        (A patron stops and says, “Congratulations,” shakes his hand. “Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Thank you.”)

        So, I’m rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there’s an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.

        And so, part of my project in life was probably to spend the first 40 years of my life figuring out what I did believe – I’m 42 now – and it’s not that I had it all completely worked out, but I’m spending a lot of time now trying to apply what I believe and trying to live up to those values.

        GG:

        Have you always been a Christian?

        OBAMA:

        I was raised more by my mother and my mother was Christian.

        Here is a bit more for you, I could go on and on, but maybe you can start to get the picture and dig a little deeper on your own

        http://www.factcheck.org/2008/06/obamas-dreams-of-my-father/
        Q: Did Obama write that he would “stand with the Muslims” and that he nurses a “pervasive sense of grievance and animosity” toward whites?

        A: No. A widely circulated e-mail fabricates some quotes from Obama’s books and twists others.

        Misleading e-mail: From Audacity of Hope: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

        Actual quote from “The Audacity of Hope” [pg. 261]: Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

          Stardusty Psyche,

          Don’t you have anything better to do? You’ve proven time and again you have no interest in reality. If you can’t respond to my questions, please try and find something else to do.

          You deny Obama supports the Muslim Brotherhood. Do you also deny Morsi is a member of the Brotherhood? It doesn’t get much simpler than this. Come on, you can do it.

          Your response to my claim that Obama is a Muslim is that he claimed to be a Christian. Did I claim that Obama claimed not to be a Christian? No. I claimed that Obama claimed to be a Christian, but his actions indicated otherwise. You can’t even understand the nature of my argument. Very sad.

          You’re incapable of responding to the fact that Obama disparages Christianity and glorifies Islam. You can’t do it. So, why do you respond? You just continue to embarrass yourself without end.

          Maybe save the long-winded nonsense for another site. You run from the facts every time.

          ‘sp’, burbling and wittering again, to no purpose;

          Misleading e-mail: From Audacity of Hope: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

          Actual quote from “The Audacity of Hope” [pg. 261]: ” … In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction”

          The majority of Arab and paki Americans are *muslims*. The murderers who flew the planes into the Twin Towers were *muslims*.

          Therefore the quote from the email makes perfect sense.

          ‘sp’ *might* have a slight point, if obama had said, ” … In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, both muslim *and Christian* …”

          But obama did not say that. Clearly, it is *muslim* sensibilities he is concerned with.

          ‘sp’ is not here to make sense, EH. He is bothering, because 1) he want’s to undermine the Counter-Jihad, 2) he has a vastly inflated ego, and is convinced he is a ‘superior intellect’, 3) he is a shill for obama, and will say anything, lie about anything, and wilfully misunderstand and represent everything, in order to whitewash his ‘fine president’, 4) he’s a leftist, and has no idea of how to discuss/debate intelligently and with integrity.

          ‘sp’ does credit to Juan Cole and Saul Alynsky. As such, he deliberately ignores inconvenient facts, and thinks his assertions stand as such. He won’t answer anything in good faith, but will twist, misrepresent, or ignore, or insult, as it suits his agenda.

          Agreed. He can’t even be rational; just don’t tell him that. His only value is to illustrate the power of confirmation bias. He runs from facts every time. He wants to share his dark corner in the light.

          Basic logic escapes him and he repeats the same mistakes over and over again. He seems incapable of processing information and clearly will abandon all reason to resist objective thought. He reminds me of Muslims trying to defend their beliefs. They even deny the Koran says what it says when pressed about the supposed corruption of the Bible. It’s basically like taking to a lead pipe, but some of them will eventually crack.

          But, ok, so you claim Obama is a Muslim, in spite of all he has said about his own religion, in spite of the large numbers of Muslims he has killed…Obama is a Muslim in your view…

          And you offer what? A few quotes from a couple of his speeches? His supposed support for the Muslim brotherhood?

          You seem to be arguing against words in favor of actions, ok, fine, but then you give us “Obama disparages Christianity and glorifies Islam.” which is an attack on Obama’s words, of which I provided some counter examples.

          And yes among the mined quotes is a statement Obama made about Islam transmitting knowledge or wisdom (don’t have it in front of me, feel free to take it off your favorite crackpot Obama conspiracy/Muslim/birther website)

          The fact is that Greek knowledge passed through Islamic hands in the middle ages, up to occupied Spain, and into the hands of Western Europeans…all of which is an interesting historical fact as a lead up to the renaissance But the average Obama-the-Muslim crackpot thinks that if Obama gives a bit of historical credit where credit is due to Islamic cultures then that is evidence he is a Muslim or he is glorifying Islam.

          EW-“{what with a bad rap sheet as theirs….you must be kidding, huh}”
          What does a bad rap sheet have to do with it? According to Christian dogma even the worst criminal will go to heaven if he asks forgiveness and acknowledges Jesus. Likewise, the most honest and kind person will go to hell absent the same. Good works are irrelevant to salvation in Christianity.

          Likewise, in Islam WRT acknowledging Allah. If Allah is the guy, and Muhammad was his final and faithful messenger, then pious Muslims are going to paradise irrespective of how bad you think their rap sheet is.

          “Let’s begin with the nasty suspicion that our president is a secret Muslim. According to this theory, Obama was born to a Muslim father and raised by a Muslim step-father. He was registered as Muslim in the Catholic school he attended as a boy in Indonesia and again at the public school where he received Islamic religious training. As president, he inherited an American victory in Iraq but suspiciously allowed the place to be taken over by Islamic terrorists. Also suspiciously, he refuses to call Islamists Islamists. And he even responded to the Islamist murder of Americans at Benghazi by declaring that the future must not belong to those who slander Mohammed. And okay, all that’s true. But no, he’s not a Muslim. He worshipped for twenty years at Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ where his pastor Jeremiah Wright ceaselessly denigrated and damned the United States, and declared we deserved the Islamist slaughter of innocents on nine-eleven. So clearly, there’s nothing wrong with Obama’s religion.“

          Hi Champ
          Thanks for the link, got some info, posted below…

          Seven Reasons Barack Obama is not a Christian:

          Reason #1: Obama Believes There Are Many Paths to Heaven
          John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me
          How do you know god does not have a plan for Muslims to be saved through Jesus? Do you know the mind of god? Do you deny His omnipotence?

          Reason #2: Obama Denies the Authority of the Bible
          No citations provided, pure blather.

          Reason #3: Obama Supports Homosexuality
          So do most state legislatures and the Supreme Court. Guess they are all non-Christians too, huh?

          Reason #4: Obama Supports Abortion
          That is the most Christian thing a person can do. All babies go to heaven. If most people are sinners destined for hell the kindest thing you can do for a baby is kill it so it is guaranteed an eternity in paradise.

          Reason #5: Obama Affirms Muslim Prayer
          How stupid, he recited a prayer. I know the Lord’s Prayer but I am not a Christian. So what?

          Reason #6: Obama is Associated with Black Liberation Theology
          Reverend Wright! Ok, so every catholic who attended regularly at a church with a pedophile priest is therefore a pedophile, right? Guilt by association fallacy much?

          Reason #7: Obama Has No Bona Fide Christian Testimony
          ““Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he’s also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher.” Therefore Obama is not a Christian…how asinine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

          What a non answer, as it’s completely void of logic and reason …

          Clearly ‘sp’ didn’t give Reason #7, as to why obama is NOT a Christian, any real and meaningful thought; since all he can offer is a silly and dismissive remark in response.

          Ironically, ‘sp’ revealed — once again, just how utterly ignorant he is on the subject of what it means to *become* a Christian. Anyone can say that they’re a Christian, but it’s another thing to actually *become* born-again. And Jesus said that it’s essential to be born-again.

          And to use ‘sp’s’ own words, it is completely “asinine” to think that the statement made by obama is enough to make him a Christian:

          “Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he’s also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher.”

          This statement by obama is weak, at best, and it flies in the face of scripture and Jesus’ own words of what it *truly* means to become a Christian …

          John 3:3: Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

          C’mon, even many atheists know that, “Jesus is an historical figure”, etc, etc …sowhat? Sorry, but this does NOT mean that obama is born-again. Not by any stretch of the imagination …

          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
          obama is NOT born-again, and only an ignoramus thinks so …
          And here are some more reasons which demonstrate that obama is NOT a Christian:
          “Ten
          Evidences
          That
          Someone Has
          Been
          Born
          Again”
          http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/evidence.htm
          NONE of these evidences can be attributed to obama …not a ONE.
          Only a stupid fool, like ‘sp’, still thinks that obama is a Christian — it’s laughable! 😀
          It does not prove the negative. You and the author did set out to prove the negative. You both failed.
          It is asinine to think that Obama quote proves the negative, which was the purpose of providing the quote by the author.
          It would be asinine indeed to assert it proves the positive, which I did not do.
          ‘sp’ clearly doesn’t understand the meaning of the word, ”implication”.
          the definition of the word, ”implication”.
          implication
          ɪmplɪˈkeɪʃ(ə)n/Submit
          noun
          1.
          the conclusion that can be drawn from something although it is not explicitly stated
          2. Logic. the relation that holds between two propositions, or classes of propositions, **in virtue of which one is logically deducible from the other**.
          Therefore, when obama states he will stand for Arab Americans, and Pakistani Americans, (who are majority *muslim*), and he states this in the wake of 9/11, an attack on America by *muslims* and in the wake of the resentment shown by Arab Americans, and Pakistani Americans because people are suspicious of them, and he makes no specific mention of *Christian* Arabs or Pakistanis, one can logically deduce obama is saying **he will stand with the muslims**.
          Hi Champ,
          Ok, you consider descriptions of proving the positive versus proving the negative to be “gibberish”
          I will dumb it down for you…no problem.
          The quote does not prove Obama is a christian (prove the positive)
          The quote does not prove Obama is not a christian (prove the negative)
          The quote does not prove anything. It is just a statement of opinion. Yet, the quote was provided to demonstrate Obama is not a christian.
          You pointing out that the quote fails to prove Obama is a christian is beside the point of providing the quote in the first place, and only demonstrates how easily confused you become when attempting rational analysis.
    I’m not sure what to make of president Obama’s position with respect to arming the Kurds. They have given weapons to the wrong people many times. The players in the region must settle the situation. It is possible that those who funded IS will be bitten by those they have fed. My other opinion is to allow ISIL to form a rogue state which they claim to have created already. Allow all western pious Muslims, fundamentalist, jihadists etc to move to their Muslim and Sharia paradise. Anyone who moves there can never return to the west would because their citizenship would be revoked. Any imam that involves himself in hate speech or support of ISIL would be deported and sent to IS or to their country of birth just as France is doing. Once the rogue Islamic State would be formed and they continued to attack the west. Then the west could declare war against this rogue state and remove them from power. Before that the west must allow the Muslims to have a taste of their own medicine before the west intervenes. It wouldn’t take any more time than it took to destroy Iraq. However at this moment the coalition forces would have the support of the IS people. It would be up to the people to uphold the peace and not allow other rogue groups to take over.
    EH, Mirren: You’re so right. It really is distracting to have to constantly swat away flies! But we are fighting a war here; and our enemies, the islamofascists, have many covert operators on their side. Tho’ I must say some aren’t terribly ‘covert’…(!?)
    Obama wasn’t raised by his mother! And even if he had been, SHE was no more ‘a Christian’ than she was an American patriot. Stanley was a marxist, through and through. She deserted her son for her [abusive, muslim-commie] men thus Zero was raised by his [mean-spirited white racist] grandmother. Alas! At the hands of her ungrateful grandson she’s given no appreciation for that, yet she loved and nurtured him when no one else would.
    As far as Obama’s ‘people’ being the American people? The love he has for our beloved country and we-the-people, you could stuff into a cocktail olive. As others in our SIOA have pointed out, Barry’s never so happy as when he’s surrounded by the antithesis of traditional Americans: Illegals, Black Panthers, radical left homosexuals, clipped-hair-hard-faced unnatural womyn, military deserters and the like. Into the bargain: My dear friend, Jack Cashill, has written ‘Deconstructing Obama’ exposing his (Obama’s) literary fraud. Bill Ayers has stated the HE is the author of ‘Dreams’, not Obama.
    SP: We all make mistakes. The best we can do is admit them, then apologize. We welcome here anyone who comes in good faith including those who DESIRE the islamization of America! But ‘good faith’ is the key.
      “SP: We all make mistakes”
      Fine, if you can use a specific train of rational argumentation to disprove any of my assertions, I will thankfully admit to such, as I have for Jack Diamond, whose criticisms I greatly appreciate.
      Ranting about ” Illegals, Black Panthers, radical left homosexuals, clipped-hair-hard-faced unnatural womyn, military deserters ” does just the opposite.
          As with the notorious “Americana”, SP has this habit of ignoring key responses (not to mention key articles) while pointedly going after a select set of other comments & responses. While he’s selectively responding, he implies (or sometimes says straight out) that he’s attending to all the relevant data & arguments against his position, which, like the Islamic style of deceit kitman, is (partially) true. Meanwhile, he’s deftly ignoring key challenges.
Another thing I never got an answer from you: you stated, on several occasions, that I’ve been “attacking” you for two years.         This is sickening since I have not witnessed *any* sort of change in ‘sp’ regarding Jack Diamond’s criticism of him.       Hummer, here is a primer website that may answer your questions.
      An article about current facts of impeachment were posted January 10, 2015
      Other activities on the process is not available…..a Google search does not show anything newer. Perhaps, the wisdom is to let the voters make the decision to what direction the country wants to go. As you know it’s a matter of months that this will happen. It’s the most sensible thing that can be done……..impeachment takes time and probably provoke many people’s dangerous human nature………protesting!
      http://www.thelastgreatstand.com/finally-articles-of-impeachment-for-barack-hussein-obama-have-been-delivered-to-congress/
      A side note: If a transgressor is to be penalized wisdom suggests that a Higher Authority is the one to judge it’s due. What is required from us as humans is to not miss the target of acceptable behavior…….if we miss the mark we commit a Sin.
        “Our Constitution specifically provides that a president can be impeached. It does NOT provide for the impeachment of a USURPER. Obviously a usurper is NOT a president. Dr. Vieira in Thought Must Precede Action states:”
        Reference: http://www.thelastgreatstand.com/finally-articles-of-impeachment-for-barack-hussein-obama-have-been-delivered-to-congress/
        That means he can be indicted out as an IMPOSTER then!
        Civil laws will be more easily applicable to indict Obama after January 20, 2016. Wisdom dictates that would be a better time to do so. Less interruption to the new presidential election cycle, so America can go through its process of being and continuing the greatest without a fraud seating in the Oval Room.
        The divesting of a USURPER should be done privately without any fanfare to re-establish the dignity of the hallowed Presidential Office.
        It’s going be easier to declare all of his executive laws invalid then for all of those that were ratified the past plus seven years during his fraudulent tenure .
        Goodbye Obama Care and other deviant laws.
    Reverend Wright! Ok, so every catholic who attended regularly at a church with a pedophile priest is therefore a pedophile, right? Guilt by association fallacy much?
    ============================
    Not quite. It all depends on how much the congregation knows about their pastor, priest etc.
    Obama would be in a very good position to know a lot more about people he associates with than an average parishioner would know about their priest.
    • Stardusty Psyche says
      Jul 5, 2015 at 1:31 pm
      Hi Peggy,
      Fair enough, if the congregation has no idea what the clergy are doing, they can hardly be held to account for it.
      Still, I don’t think we can say that every member of the congregation can be have all the political views of the clergy attributed to them. That is still guilt by association. People simply attend church, that doesn’t mean that they share all the political views of the pastor.
      My parents attended the same church my whole life. Pastors came and went, but it was just a thing with my folks, that was simply their church and they were not gonna change to another church, period.
      I am an atheist and I do not tend to form those kinds of allegiances, but many people do.
