“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers to be the Jews…” — Qur’an 5:82
Generally in the real world that verse and other antisemitic verses in the Qur’an have the effect of making the most intense of the people in animosity toward the Jews to be the Muslims.
“Israeli Imam Supports ISIS, Calls Netanyahu ‘Jewish Dog,'” MEMRI, July 2, 2015:
During a sermon on July 2 at the Al-Tawhid Mosque in Umm Al-Fahm, Israeli Imam Muhammad Abd Al-Ghani called Netanyahu “that Jewish dog” and criticized Hamas, saying that it had “struck an alliance” with the Jews, who, he said, were “behind every catastrophe afflicting our Islamic nation.” According to media reports, Abd Al-Ghani removed a sign bearing the ISIS symbol at the entrance to the mosque following repeated demands by the Israeli police. However, the symbol continues to appear on his Youtube account.
Following are excerpts:
Muhammad Abd Al-Ghani: Dozens of satellite TV channels have been exposed. They were founded and are funded by Jews, who control the media. When you ask one of these Jews what they are doing, he says: We donate enormous sums on a daily basis, in order to ensure the continuation of the Star Academy [music talent] show. Why are they spending all this money? Not just so that you can sit back and be entertained, but in order to destroy your mind, to destroy your home, and in order to turn your sons and daughters against you.
[…]
First and foremost, you must know that there is a Jew behind each and every catastrophe afflicting our Islamic nation. Behind all the catastrophes, all the bloodshed, all the countries that have been invaded and their governments brought down, all the countries that have been burned down, along with their people, and all the blood that is shed in the streets… Behind all these is an accursed Jew. You should know that. This is divine law. In His beloved Quran, Allah mentioned “corruption upon the land” only in reference to the Jews.
[…]
Recently, that Jewish dog Netanyahu, may Allah curse him, said, following the operation of the [ISIS] mujahideen in the Sinai, that our brothers in Hamas had participated, with the Islamic State, in this operation. Our brothers in Hamas were forced to issue a statement to the media – saying what? Did they say: “True, [ISIS] are Muslims, and so are we”?
Did they say: “Yes, they wage Jihad against the figureheads of heresy and deception, and so do we”? Did they say: “Indeed, the Egyptian soldiers who were killed are the soldiers who killed our brothers in Rabea Square a few months ago”? They ran over them with their armored vehicles and tanks in Rabea Square, as they were fasting during the Ramadhan. Only a few days ago, they assassinated 13 leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, to which Hamas itself belongs. What the official spokesman for Hamas did say to Netanyahu was: “No, your honor, the prime minister of Israel. You are wrong. We did not and will not cooperate with [ISIS], because they are our common enemy.”A common enemy?! What, have the Jews and Hamas struck an alliance?! Are they now in the same trench, fighting the mujahideen, who raise the Islamic banner of “there is no god but Allah”?!

And I can guarantee you that there are millions of Americans-not to mention the rest of the world-who feel exactly as I do.

How very kind of you, Kathy Brown, “Esq.,” to hate them as much or even more than the Jews and how condescending. I am a Jew, and you can kiss my mezuzah. Oh, and, btw, your hatred makes you almost as bad as those “muzz-rats” and will only harm you in the long run. Have a nice day.

Wow. Kathy expresses sympathy with Jews and detestation (not hatred) of the world’s most popular Dark Ages death cult and you:
A) Misrepresent her potentially hyperbolic detestation of Islam as ‘condescension’,
B) Climb on your moral soapbox and equivocate between murderous Islamic annihilationist rhetoric and Kathy’s outrage thereat,
C) Use a mitzvah as a metaphor to form a vulgar insult.
Never forget, Allah hates the kuffar, but ISIS loves the stupid ones…
Matthieu Baudin says
There is a great level of tolerance in Israel for freedom of speech, a country that regularly puts up with this sort of vicious ranting. Nowhere else in the Middle East can can one find this challenge to political authority openly expressed without grave fear for personal safety. Israel is quite obviously a successful, open and pluralistic society, that others in the region would do well to emulate in many respects.
Kathy Brown, Esq. says
And isn’t that the bottom line, really Mattheiu? Jealousy?
That is the animating principle behind every single line of the Koran-jealously, imitation-but w/o the hat tip.
jayell says
“And isn’t that the bottom line, really Mattheiu? Jealousy?” You’ve really hit the nail on the head here! If I recall islamic history correctly, this all stems from about 1,400 years ago when the Great Prophet was trying to sell his garbled catalogue of nonsense masqueradaing as a ‘religion’ in order to cover his imperialist intentions, and our Jewish friends of the time told him (in so many words) to ‘go away’ (I believe that there still exist reports that some of them were – rightly – dismissing him as being a teacup short of a crockery set). So here we had two problems for the Great Man of Allah – 1. The Jews effectively originally thwarted his ambitions and 2. Their apparent negative assessment of him and his ‘divine mission’ (sic) didn’t match his own arrogant self-image (which is the usual kind of reason for people holding grudges or claiming to be victimised, etc. etc…). Add to that the subsequent success of Jews internationally as a people in their own right (and NOT just because they happen to be sitting on top of valuable resources) despite some of the appalling things that have happened to them, and you have a recipe for a giant chip on the collective shoulder. So blatantly obvious!!!
Now, even an intellectually-challenged mammal with a prehensile tail can appreciate that there is a connection between islamic failure and the islamic mindset WITHOUT the need of any outside ‘assistance’, just like the glaring absence of any evidence of ‘third party collusion’ is clear for all to see. What more proof do you need? maybe that famous Youtube clip where the ‘erudite’ Saudi Arabian official tries to prove that the earth does’nt rotate by holding a model aircraft over a table and claiming that a real aircraft would similarly stay apparently stationary because it couldn’t fly faster than the earth? And to do THAT shamelesly in front of a potentially international audience apparently without suspecting that one might appear to be making a total ass of oneself?
Self-belief is one thing. Self-belief where all the evidence points the other way is something else. Whingeing and pointing like the archetypal spoilt classroom brat because someone else got better marks than you is seriously stretching credibility. Continuing to do that and making stupid accusations when it’s clear you’ve been rumbled is just beyond the pail. Not realising that you’ve gone well beyond the pail and no one respects you or wants to tolerate you any more………oh dear, oh dear…….

ABSOLUTELY! Muhammad Abd-al-Ghani doesn’t know how right he is! Yes, there is a Jew behind every catastrophe that befalls the Islamic and every other nation as that very Jew breaks them with a rod of iron (Ps. 2:9; Rev. 19:15).
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” (Matthew 28:18)
“Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the key of death and Hades.” (Rev. 1:17-18).
That Jew’s name is Yeshua Ha-M’shiach (Iesous Christos in Greek), ruler of the kings of the earth, now ruling from Heaven over all things, including the fates of nations.

So the Jews wrote the Koran? I didn’t know that.
Maybe the Jews have a subconscious suicidal tendency then. Gold might help. Who would have thought it.
And the Jews control the media to destroy one’s mind?
Destroy one’s mind- ha ha- like the Koran being forced on innocent Muslims? Like fear/terror/lies destroys the confidence of the would be infidel.

Truth can kill fear, and all sorts of things pertaining to the mind.
Truth is greatly feared by bullies, cowards, liars, ostriches, gang leaders from the street to the governments.
“may Allah curse him” Allah can curse? Allah is a witch? They do say Allah was one of the top gods of the pagans, so maybe.

Not to the extent that the ‘philosophy’ that islam espouses does, as I understand it. Apparently a fair while ago a school of islamic ‘philosophers’ decided that ‘allah’ controls everything, down to the motion of a stone if dropped from the hand, and including the intention to drop the stone. There is, again, as I understand it, no place *at all* for free will in islam. There is not anything that is not directly set in motion, moved and stopped by ‘allah’.
That’s why the constant ‘inshallah’ (‘allah willing’) on most sentences. Nothing, but nothing happens but by the will is this petty little moon god, and this is why rational argument is really only put up in facsimile by muslims – there really is, I think they believe, no need for rationality, everything ‘just is’.
Since they don’t need rationality they don’t need to make sense when performing actions to further the cause of ‘allah’ – which if this ‘god’ really controlled *everything* would be inherently rendered unnecessary!
Islamic thinking results in a kind of double-think in which reality pokes its nose in from time to time, but isn’t allowed to constitute premises from which valid conclusions can be derived. I’ve tried to make sense of it all, but the closest I’ve come is that rational thought is felt to be a kind of usurpation of one of the powers of ‘allah’. Just follow the book – all the thinking’s already been done for you.
ECAW says
That’s right RonW, Allah is entirely capricious – or as the Koran says “…Allah doeth what He will.” (14:27).
Pope Benedict put it a bit less bluntly “…not to act in accordance with reason is contrary to God’s nature…But for Muslim teaching, God is absolutely transcendent. His will is not bound up with any of our categories, even that of rationality.” (and look at the fuss that caused):

If I recall correctly, I think the great Jewish philosopher and theologian Maimonides/ Moses ben Maimon, centuries ago, with much painful first-hand experience of mohammedan behaviour and ‘thinking’ or lack thereof, put his finger pretty squarely on the same thing that you have just attempted to describe.

It’s called “occasionalism” – there is no such thing as “natural laws” or “cause and effect” because that would imply that allah is somehow limited. If one applies a flame to a piece of paper it burns, not because energy is transfered from the flame to the paper, but because allah wishes it to burn – it could very well not burn, or turn into metal, or water, or fluffy bunnies, or anything else.
Science can’t be developed under such a paradigm.
Nimrod says
Yea, so if that’s true then every time a jihadi commits a suicide bombing it’s also just Allah controlling him like a puppet. Since the jihadis blow themselves up and kill people to “please Allah”, yet Allah is the one controlling them, Allah is just trying to please himself. Therefore, jihad is basically just Allah masturbating. According to Islamic theology anyway.
Perhaps everyone should just pray to Allah to ask him to please stop masturbating. But then that would actually just be Allah asking himself to stop masturbating since Allah would be controlling everyone doing so.
Oh Allah, please stop masturbating!
Allah made me say all of this therefore Muslims should not complain as it was all the will of Allah. And Allah knows best.

“In His beloved Quran, Allah mentioned “corruption upon the land” only in reference to the Jews.”
Well done Muhammad Abd Al-Ghani for telling the truth about 5:32-33 the source of that nauseating bromide beloved by our leaders “whosoever killeth a soul etc” but which in fact is a chilling warning to Jews in particular about crossing Mohammed:
5:32 For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.
5:33 The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom;

Don’t tell us what you believe. Tell us what you know. Have you read the Koran? I have and I find it full of hatred and cruelty. For instance, do you know what Allah intends to do to you when he gets his hands on you? Do you know what he instructs Muslims to do to non-Muslims in this life?
2. “ISIS “say are [they are] based on islam” [they] are NOT”
ISIS are totally based on the Islam and the example of Mohammed and his followers. If you want I can provide details. Can you show how they differ from Mohammed’s Islam?
3. “so much hatred!! STOP!”
Yes, let’s start with the people who have carried out 26,000 deadly attacks on infidels and other kinds of Muslims since 9/11. None of them do it for fun. They are acting on the instructions left by Mohammed in the Koran and in his example.
