I am not confident that the mainstream media is yet on board with both the news and the essence of that news which Robert Spencer offers. But any and every tv station that shows Robert Spencer’s gorgeous face, will give its viewers the opportunity to hear the truth. And if any tv station doesn’t want to be associated with a Jihad Watch writer, can’t someone like Ralph Sidway or Hugh Fitzgerald bill themselves as an “independent” writer or a “world analyst” and get on a tv news show in that way? Furthermore, I personally know a reporter who works at one of the NYC local tv news channels. (I do not hang out with this person, but I know “IT”). I asked “IT” this question: “I often read articles about what is going on in Islam and in majority Islamic countries where their governments and citizens give crummy, often homicidal treatment to Christians. One website is JihadWatch.org. There are articles and comments referencing the mainstream media and how they ignore the plight of Christians who are being persecuted. Is there a ‘gag order’ on mainstream media reporters? Is it considered ‘hate speech’ to report about this sad issue? Also, did you know the UN High Commissioner on Refugees (based in Switzerland) calls the shots on which refugees come into the USA? Thank you.” End of quote. This is what “IT” reporter replied: “I am honestly not well enough informed on the situation. But I promise you there is no ‘gag order’. If you look hard enough, I am sure you could find a Christian who came from one of those countries, and you can ask them about their experience.” End of quote. Mortimer, I get the impression that you are way more tech savvy than me. Could you suggest any possible leads to this?

Thanx J3, but only Shown Wolf is my creation. It came to me like a thunderbolt as I sat stunned watching Spencer converse with Doocey, as always hoping he’d get in a scriptural authority or two. I posted it here in hopes that Spencer or Geller will use it on a forthcoming appearance on a major TV program. It’d be a great segue into the scriptures of the belief system, and into the scriptures-based history of Moslems over the last 1,400 years.

Consider sending it to Robert by a direct email . . . He can only read a small percentage of comments ( I am reasonably guessing ) and so might miss it.
Of course, he must be extremely careful with false attributions from trolls but perhaps your verifiable history of commentary will be sufficient.
I send him counter-jihad paths and resources at least once a week, as I’m sure hundreds of others do, too.

Alarmed, At some point the Democrats will run out of excuses, don’t you think. When FOX RINO starts to point the finger at Muslims, this may not be too far away. I just hope this happens before Muslims succeed in killing all of us.
You may recall that just before the USSR fell on their face, the whole world thought they were invincible. This was all thanks to the Democrats and the MSM. Then one day, the sun, moon, and stars lined up just right and k-boom, the USSR fell to it’s knees. MSM was embarrassed. The Wizard of Oz was exposed.
If this sort of thing happens again, the public may suddenly realize that Islam was actually intended for caravan robbers, pedophiles, other perverts, or the like. I’ve had Fox News and CNN on this morning and several talking heads and guests have been going on and on about what the possible motive might have been for this Muslim murderer yesterday in Tennessee. Two or three years ago I probably would have been angry but today I found myself devoid of almost all emotion. Yes, the continued willful ignorance has moved me from anger to a kind of numbness.
This doesn’t mean I will ever give up opposing Islam’s despicable designs. I will still continue patiently to point out to anyone who will listen what Islam is really all about but without any attendant anger anymore. I’m reminded here of what was said about Mark Twain, that earlier in life he was bitter about the human race but that as he aged his bitterness left him and in its place there occurred in him a quiet pity for mankind. I think something like this has occurred in me.

This is probably a good thing, I personally know people that love to see another person get “all worked up” when debating an issue. Remaining calm, cool and collected when delivering your point bolsters your argument instead of detracting from it.
Keep up the good work Wellington! Even if you only turn one person to the truth that is one more than before. I know it gets discouraging at times…..been there, done that and still I keep on.
BTW I also have pity for the fools that REFUSE to see the truth.

I think it’s the case that they too are numb. Media has moved in a major way the last few decades where it now that the truth — defined here as the recognition of reality — has become a matter of preference, with what’s preferred set for the crowd by none other than the media, with media defined here not only as the TV and radio, but also the educational system, the government bureaucracies (who issue many purported reports of facts), the courts, the non-news entertainment media, and other agents of reports on what is real. For example, the widespread public acceptance of the “fact” that carbon dioxide is the principle cause of global warming, which since has been renamed climate change because the globe is not warming, and the science is settled when in fact little real scientific work has been done to even prove that humans are affecting the climate or whether it is changing… you get the idea.
So we know that the preposterous can be the palliative to a wound that doesn’t even exist. So in turn with Islam the palliative is that a real wound doesn’t even exist, and if it does then it’s cause is apparently not knowable.
When society throws off the dock rope and lets itself drift off into the fog of make believe, it is to be expected that Moslems cannot be understood, probably because they are so misunderstood. Understand?

Well, the climate IS CHANGING. And it has been changing for a few billion years now, and will continue to change. And, in the tiny span of recorded human history on the planet, it has changed a LOT, often quite rapidly (all completely without any possible human intervention). But that obviously doesn’t generate sales of Carbon Credits, nor does it give politicians Talking Points to run on platforms that have no viable nor testable consequences, nor the ability to levy taxes on things to produce any viable nor testable results at any time in the future until long after said politicians are dead. Nor do actual facts based on history create any drive to curtail carbon emissions from China or India who are the world’s biggest polluters of such things — if you believe that such a thing influences the world in any significant way. Nor does a fact that the tiniest fluctuation of the Sun’s activity would completely negate all the wealth transfer possible in the next fifty years to “combat” global warming in about a week. Shall I go on? No. I am tired of typing.

It is really scary to know that North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and others have a nuclear bomb that can blow the world away. It’s been said that “Art imitates life”, but I swear it seems to me that our so called leaders in Washington DC want to imitate art. Do you remember the movie with Charleton Heston called “Beneath the Planet of the Apes” ? There is a scene in that movie where a group of humans are holding a worship service in a section of what was once Grand Central Terminal in NYC. They are all dressed like monks and nuns, singing what sounds like a hymn. After the hymn, a curtain opens and the object of their adoration is revealed: a bright and shiny bomb! THAT scene had huge impact.

The only media I’ve ever seen that gave its guests the proper time to educate the viewer was Sun TV. So the skill Robert has mastered so well is imperative.
