This isn’t getting the media play that the jihadi’s claim that he was just trying to rob passengers got. Hmmm. Now, why is that?

Denied planning an assault? File this under “taqiyya” lies …
And lying is allah (satan) approved >> read the quran.

Are French investigators – just like all their Western counterparts, it’s
not just them – still going to be searching places from top to bottom
with a fine-tooth comb and magnifying glasses searching for “motives”
in the light of this bit of news? Or will they just conclude that he was
some disaffected migrant angry that he couldn’t afford a nicer phone?
ECAW says
There is an incident in the novel Tom Jones which typifies the search for a motive after each Islamic atrocity. Jones meets the gamekeeper Black George after having just lost his entire fortune of five hundred pounds:
“Jones acquainted the gamekeeper with his loss, and he as readily went back with him to the brook, where they searched every tuft of grass in the meadow, as well where Jones had not been as where he had been; but all to no purpose, for they found nothing; for, indeed, though the things were then in the meadow, they omitted to search the only place where they were deposited; to wit, in the pockets of the said George”
Here is something like a comprehensive list of the places to look first:

This Suffield Times piece is plain weird.
It reads like a Google translate fiasco.
But nowhere do they state any other source than:
“By Times Staff on August 25, 2015”
before the article.
And to ‘confirm’ that, they end with:
“Copyright © 2015 — The Times. All Rights Reserved”
I’m glad that French Prosecutor Francois Molins
has stated some oh so bloody obvious truths
about this mass murder wannabe; in contradiction to
some of the most outlandish taqiyya to come from
a ‘lawyer’s’ mouth, where outlandish is the norm.

He saw a Jihad video?
But, but, he said robbery was on his mind. Wouldn’t he have wanted to have boned up on the UK’s Great Train Robbery (1963)? Lots on movies on that one.
Nimrod says
Perhaps his best defense at this point, if he insists on continuing with this lie, would be to claim that he was just following the perfect moral example of Mohammad when he ordered caravan robbery expeditions from Medina.
It’s interesting how this story of being hungry and impoverished and committing robbery against infidels to “relieve himself from poverty” just happens to follow an episode from the sirat rasulallah. It’s as though he expects this to seem like a reasonable defense because “the prophet” did the same thing.

Here’s a thought. When I and my friends were horrible little boys back in the 1950’s we always watched ‘Westerns’ (cowboys, etc.) on UK television. This always involved the ‘goodies’ (in the white cowboy hats) shooting and killing the ‘baddies’ (in the black hats), who usually ended up falling off their horses and writhing on the ground. Maybe we got cowboy outfits as birthday presents, with the obligatory toy ‘cap’ guns that went of ‘bang’ in a small way, and we’d pretend to shoot each other just like ‘on the telly’. Or perhaps the ‘action man’ business, which also involved (plastic) guns, grenades & bombs, & people ending up on the ground (but they always got up afterwards).
Now, here’s the point. Neither I nor any of my friends, nor anyone else we knew, went on later to actually shoot people with REAL guns, or blow people up, or cut their heads off (as we learned in history lessons about Henry VIII & chums). Crime was VERY low in the UK (that is, until we began receiving ‘visitors’). So how is it with this joker on the train to Paris, who apparently watched a ‘Jihad’ video (which was probably no worse than some of the gory stuff in an ‘adult’ cinema film, & probably had something in common with a ‘Western TV show) and apparently felt ‘inspired’ to behave in the disgusting way we all now know about? Like all his other co-religionists, who proudly actually blow people up and actually cut their heads off? All of us all over the world have known about explosives and decapitation, but we’ve hardly ever actually DONE it. So why’s it different with these followers of the ‘Religion of Peace’?

I hope the Islamophiles are proud of themselves that everyone gets to sit on a train, or wherever else, and watch a satanist with a beard like that get on board with a backpack. Well done, all. What a contribution to society and our dignity– verrrrrry sophisticated. Put everyone en avant-garde!
“… a recognized radical mosque…”
That’s really excellent. A recognized Islamic State fighter prancing around attending recognized radical mosques. Perfect. I’d say that’s a government doing its job of not offending the rights of nutcases who represent 5% of the population. Wow, is that democracy in action. Just wonderful and an all around good example of leadership.
“…his cellphone…” “…first-class ticket costing 149 euros, or about $172…” Nice.
“…El-Khazzani had stayed [at his sister’s] lately…” Aww.
“El-Khazzani has refused to reply questions since Monday.” Mhm.
Good enough, all?

Let’s see: we have a devout muslim who watched a video calling for jihad and afterwards packed heat, boarded a train and got his ass handed to him before he could cause serious damage. I feel sorry for the lawyer who has to defend the “he found some weapons and decided to rob a train because he was hungry” excuse. Maybe an insanity defense would be more appropriate…

He went to a radical mosque, watched a jihad video before boarding the train, but he only wanted to rob the rich passengers. This has got nothing to do with jihad. He can tell his barber stories like that. He’s trying to take the piss out of us. He’s a terrorist and has to be treated as such.
