Wow. What was their first clue? “Government Report: U.S. Fight Against Islamic State Disorganized, Incoherent,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, August 17, 2015 3:35 pm
The U.S.-led fight against the Islamic State (IS) suffers “from a lack of coherence” and is often operated in a disorganized fashion, harming efforts to effectively combat the terrorist force, according to a new report by the government.
As the United States and 21 other nations attempt to push back IS forces operating in Iraq, the new report warns that the war effort is being undercut by a lack of coordination and, in some cases, efforts that “contradict” one another, according to a report by the Congressional Research Service that was not made public but was released by the Federation of American Scientists (FAS).
The report comes amid numerous reports IS is making gains and solidifying its control key Iraq cities and even expanding outside of the war torn country’s borders.
CRS concluded in its analysis that the effort, dubbed Operation Inherent Resolve, is being led in a haphazard manner that leads to inefficient military action by the countries involved.
“Without a single authority responsible for prioritizing and adjudicating between different multinational civilian and military lines of effort, different actors often work at cross-purposes without intending to do so,” the report states.
Exact financial contributions by countries remains fuzzy, making it difficult to track exactly what each nations if funding and for what reason.
“Each nation is contributing to the coalition in a manner commensurate with its national interests and comparative advantage, although reporting on nonmilitary contributions tends to be sporadic,” the report found.
Recent military campaigns provide evidence of the incoherent strategy, according to CRS.
“These coalition coordination challenges were demonstrated in recent military campaigns (and particularly in Afghanistan),” it states. “Exacerbating matters, other actors in the region—some of whom are coalition partners—have different, and often conflicting, longer-term regional geopolitical interests from those of the United States or other coalition members.”
“This, in turn, may lead nations participating in the coalition to advance their goals and objectives in ways that might contradict each other,” the report found.
These flaws are impacting the success of the joint military campaign against IS, which has cost the United States $3.21 billion as of July 15….

What do you expect when Obama strategically fires all the Military leaders that actually knew what they were doing? It’s obvious that Obama has maintained some of President Bush’s more important plans of attack by threatening ISIS with ultimatums like “You better disarm- Or we will” – now were are my damn golf clubs? The only real sad thing about this issue is good men are dying for the likes of our moron in charge- if that doesn’t sicken you nothing will.
Don McKellar says
I used to think that George The Idiot was simply the most bumbling fool who ever got elected president, but that got all washed away when it became very clear that debacles like the Iraq war were simply waged to enrich the US Military Industrial Complex and all its subsidiaries, like Dick Cheney’s Haliburton, and to jack up the price of oil so Bush’s oil company buddies could suck up the gravy.
With Obama I used to think, early on in his first term, that he’s just a sell-out lefty who had the world handed to him on a silver platter because he could tell the other leftists what they wanted to hear, and he was the right colour and could put out the right vibe — and his wet noodle presidency was a direct result of that. He was some misguided lefty who thought he could get moslems “on side”, I thought was his plan. But that washed away years ago as it become very clear that he is a man with an agenda that’s very dark and sinister, and from time to time he’d let the mask slip and refer to “his faith, Islam” and do the point up in the air sign to the African moslem leaders — the moslem sign for Allah, or “I am a moslem, and Allah is #1” — when he thought nobody was paying attention. And a dozen other little incidents and slips. But when seen in the big context of his absolutely CONSISTENT and relentless foreign policies all of which are designed to empower Islamic supremacists wherever they may be. Step by step, action by action, he is methodical in this. His brazenness escalating because he knows that nobody will touch him. That’s what sickens me.

An American president needs military experience on his resume. Bush jr. and Obama did not. They do not understand the military system.

Keep in mind that at the onset of the Iraq War there was no American oilfield company with the capabilities required to handle what happened over there, none, and there still isn’t. Despite the conspiracy theory catcalls from the globo-socialist crowd about Halliburton getting a no-bid contract because of Dick Cheney deviousness, I knew it was the perfect model of such a contract.
Another mistaken conspiracy theory was that the Iraq War was pursued for the oil. Globo-socialists were seen on national TV making that claim several times a day back then. Of course, as it turned out we didn’t steal a barrel of the stuff.

That’s weird. It’s almost as if the President *wants* ISIS to prevail, but that can’t be right, can it? (sneer.)
All I know is this; when Mr. Obama is involved, the Islamists always win.

Just pure coincidence, I’m sure – one that keeps occurring over and over

The Middle East is reverting to tribalism and tribal territories. The Shi’ites will fight for the Shi’ite territories, the (non-ISIS) Sunnis for their territories, and the kurds for Kurdistan. It is obvious folly to include Turkey in any coalition involving the defense of Kurdistan, as the first priority of Turkey is to destroy any Kurdish independence.
It may not be possible to stop the Islamic State in any particular direction unless there is something with which to replace it. In the case of Iraq, you may have to have loose coalitions of individual villages, each coalition being either Shi’ite or Sunni. In the case of Syria, the obvious choice is the same government of Syria the US has been trying to upend for years.

Some of the fine print would be even more interesting. If it’s a failed strategy to contain ISIS then let’s move on and take a different tack, like unambiguously backing the forces that are fighting competently in light of the limited resources at their disposal; this category is limited almost entirely to Syrian Government troops and seasoned Kurdish forces. Assad needs to normalise relations with Israel as a first step to ending the disastrous three way war. The Kurdish nationalist forces should be brought into a formal coalition alliance and provided with the heavy weaponry and other urgently required supplies. If the Turkish government is hedging its bets and sending its refugees west into Europe then that game has to end.

First we need an administration.
Then we need to close the border.
Then we need an army.
Then we need to define the enemy.
If the enemy happens to be the Koran, then we need to engage.
and we need the will to win this war for the first time in 1400 years.
If we don’t win, we are history.

Vacillations, confusion, disorganization, instability…leads to defeat…Especially when the opponent is not vacillating, not confused, not disorganized or unstable. The Quran is the most stable object on the planet because Allah’s words are not entirely subject to entropy. It’s a never dying manual for peaceful living…as soon as the pious wipe out the opposition. Wiping out the opposition, is called jihad…
Rasool O, by accident or design, is enabling jihad, which makes him a stealth jihadist in the White House…
The evidence available for this points to design, and not accident…

Brutal violence is the only language that Muslim fiends of ISIS will understand. So that is how they should be dealt with. In other words, the thugs is ISIS will only understand the language of being on the receiving end of many very strong powers of might do the who to defeat the callous and murderous characters of ISIS. As Thomas Jefferson had so well stated “With every barbarous people….force is law.”

It’s true. They don’t know how to handle Islamic State. That is due to many reasons and complications. But the Feds know how to make things worse for American chicks who risk their lives to fight for Free Speech. Like Pamela Geller ( see below ).
The following will go into my next round of Pamela Geller outreach. I’ve used it a couple times already today and just spent several hours doing social outreach on diverse youtube discussions. I like to repeatedly leverage my toolkit assets, and therefore put frequently forward Bostom, Spencer, Geller, Bell, Warraq.
That’s how I solve the Last Mile Problem.
You know what Galileo Galilei said, don’t you? He said “My dear Kepler, shall we laugh or shall we weep?”
Look, it’s going to be really tough this year. This motivates me. You have no idea how much good stuff I get done. But it is crucially important to actively back up frontline leaders like Pamela Geller. She is in harm’s way. The Feds should provide her a title and office desk for counter-terrorism work. Because she’s actually doing it.

Geller: I’m Getting Death Threats Daily — and the FBI Is Warning About… Me
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/08/19/geller-im-getting-death-threats-daily-and-the-fbi-is-warning-about-me/
The website Public Intelligence reported that “an intelligence bulletin issued by the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division in late May warns that so-called ‘militia extremists’ are likely to begin targeting Muslim institutions, including mosques and other religious facilities.”
It named me, among others, among those who incite these violent “militia extremists.” Meanwhile, as the FBI libels me as someone who inspires violence, I am getting death threats every day. Every day now.
The FBI’s report on these right-wing militias is focusing upon an entirely trumped-up problem in service of a frankly sinister agenda. There is no significant right-wing militia threat, and neither I nor any of the others mentioned are telling anyone to commit any acts of violence.
This is just the latest attempt to demonize and marginalize those who dare to speak the truth about jihad violence, and to further the administration’s dangerous fantasies about Islam being a religion of peace that is lied about by hatemongers, rather than a religion of violence that is inciting violence and hatred worldwide.
I have never supported, called for or advocated for violence — ever. None of my readers, members of my organizations, or supporters has ever hurt anyone. We work to stop the violence and carnage, and now the FBI is targeting those who oppose jihad terror?
Ever since the Islamic State (ISIS) issued its fatwa calling for me to be murdered, I have to live under constant guard — and instead of issuing a report talking about that and strategizing about how to protect me and other Americans who have dared to stand up to the jihadis and defend our freedoms, this is what the FBI is doing in the wake of the Garland, Texas jihad attack on our free speech event? They tried to kill us and now I am the threat? They are slaughtering Americans and the FBI is coming after… the Americans they want to slaughter?
… And we are told we must respect this culture of death and murder.

And the point here is simple: share out this specific Pamela Geller article link. Please. It is brand new, and it is of major importance in winning the “We’re the good guys and not the bad guys” debate.
I will reach many many people with this…later.
And I have already put it forward a few times so it’s more noticeable in the record.
But we need lots of social pressure to deal with the Feds, the Southern Poverty Law Center and all the rest. This is about the fulcrum of the legitimacy debate. Which is huge.
