Iran’s Supremo “not satisfied” with nuke deal, wants even more concessions

Aug 16, 2015 7:50 am By Robert Spencer

ayatollah_khamenei_Obama and Kerry will no doubt jump to give him what he wants, but if they do, the opposition to the deal will grow even stronger than it already is.

“Iranian hardliner: The supreme leader opposes the nuclear deal,” by Ali Akbar Dareini, Associated Press, August 15, 2015:

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is opposed to a landmark nuclear deal reached with world powers, a prominent hard-liner claimed Saturday.

Hossein Shariatmadari, editor of the daily newspaper Kayhan and a representative of Khamenei, made the comments in an editorial Saturday.

It marked the first time someone publicly has claimed where Khamenei, who has final say on all state matters, stands on the deal.

Khamenei has not publicly approved or disapproved the deal. However, he repeatedly has offered words of support for his country’s nuclear negotiators. Moderates also believe the deal would have never been reached without Khamenei’s private approval.

Iran’s parliament and the Supreme National Security Council will consider the agreement in the coming days. The deal calls for limiting Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for lifting economic sanctions.

Shariatmadari said in the editorial that many parts of the deal threaten Iran’s independence, security and “the sacred system of the Islamic republic of Iran” and that it would be “disastrous” if Tehran implements the accord. He did not specify which parts of the deal he thought were problematic.

He also referred to a speech by Khamenei last month during which the ayatollah said, “Whether this text is approved or disapproved, no one will be allowed to harm the main principles of the (ruling) Islamic system.”

The editorial noted: “Using the phrase ‘whether this text is approved or disapproved’ shows his lack of trust in the text of the deal. If His Excellency had a positive view, he would have not insisted on the need for the text to be scrutinized through legal channels … It leaves no doubt that His Excellency is not satisfied with the text.”…

    SURPRISE! Whouda thought?

Lets hope this Ayatollah (I told you) kills this rotten deal and the first practical solution of INCREASED SANCTIONS is brought to bear with NO RISK OF WAR despite Obama’s BS warnings.

At least Iran bought two years of negotiating time to fervently expedite their bomb making.

Obama and Kerry are pro-Muslim DOLTS and a menace to the entire West and Israel…along with the acquiescent European leaders. Russia and China acted as predicted…they SUPPORT Iran!

Obama and Kerry must have missed the kitchen sink when giving Iran everything they wanted. No problem that can be rectified.

Under the only available options, at least according to the U.S. Administration, it looks like Ayatollah Khamenei may have chosen war. By definition, any further concession means that what we mean by “best deal” really means the only deal Iran would agree to as a result of our having abandoned all our negotiating leverage. On the “bright” side, at least we are acting consistently with the so-called progressivist principles we push on others. After all, hasn’t Israel repeatedly been told that it is for the powerful to make concessions to the weak from whom nothing (including civilized behavior) can be expected? I’m just glad that none of these negotiators were available to represent the Western Allies in treating with Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in 1945.

Iran has no intention of following any treaties/agreements with us infidels. This what Muslims do – Mo/allah did it in his time and his followers did it later. So how can Iran keep its words now and why would it do it?? Only the brain dead will believe what Muslims promise!!

Haggling at the bazaar is normal in Iran. Haggling after the agreement is bizarre and most likely a stalling tactic to buy more time; possibly with the intent of the Ayatollah to never actually ratify the binding agreement. Parts of the deal run longer than the 10 year Islamic limit for agreements with enemies, which is suspicious and likely to fail acceptance in Iran’s parliament. How many years could Iran play “good guy, bad guy” to run the clock before the US would detectt the scam?

Looking in the crystal ball, the image is cloudy, I see bombers and tankers being tuned up. They have something that looks like a star on them.

From the book of Jeremiah 1:14- “The Lord said to me, ‘from the north, disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.’ ” From the book of Ezekiel 1:4- “As I looked, behold a strong wind came out of the north, and a great cloud with brightness round about it, and fire flashing forth continually…” Some evangelical pastors are quoting these scriptures as a basis that a country north of Israel will have and use a bomb.

Many scriptures have, in the past, seen fulfillment that has been documented by archaeology and recorded history. Many others have yet to be fulfilled. Ezekiel and Jeremiah have so many that we are about to witness for ourselves. Daniel and Revelation and Jesus words to His disciples from on the Mount also.
Ezekiel specifically tells of war concerning many nations… with Persia in the lead…attacking Israel.
      (Ezekiel chapters 37-39)

The greatest part of the fulfillment of all these prophesies is the end……..when GOD wins and the people that have chosen JESUS CHRIST as their Savior will have eternal peace with Him.

Remember, they can’t threaten a Christian with death, they only can threaten eternal life.
      Death has lost it’s sting.

That name can be fun if viewed from Persian and Hindi. Shariat is Sharia, and Medari is a juggler or street performer, sometimes with a monkey, in Hindi.

It was exactly the same with Hitler. When the initial deal was made in Munch, he, sensing the weakness of the British, changed his mind and issued new demands which Chamberlain eventually agreed to with his infamous “peace in our time” proclamation. History does repeat itself only because of those who are unwilling or incapable to learn from it.

The pride -filled and arrogant Ayatollah Al Khamenei along with those mullahs and other Muslim fiends who have great power in this tyrannical Islamic regime have no limit to their gall. They always want more and more and likewise grow more evil and evil still. To add to this heinous wickedness they also treat the Iranian people in many terrible harsh and oppressive ways. These arrogant and cruel dictators of Iran in the vicious and cruel oppression of the people may be described in the Bible. Which in Psalm 73:6-9 reads “Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence. From their callous hearts comes iniquity; the evil conceits of their minds know no limits. They scoff and speak with malice; in their arrogance they threaten oppression. Their months lay claim to heaven, and their the earth.” [N.I.V.]

To reiterate the facts of reality. It’s very obvious that Obama, Kerry and the other naive and gullible politicians of the West are no match at all in negotiations with the sly, insidious and deceptive Islamic fiends who have much power in this tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran. This so called “deal” with Iran is not only a travesty but also a sick and tragic joke. Any thing person after really looking at this “deal” will see that it’s a farce,a hoax and a disaster.

Obama naïve? I find it very troubling that so many ‘Deal” critics take this line. He knows precisely what he is doing here and this opinion effectively shields him from any questions as to his true intentions in dealing with this rouge state. Iran got everything they wanted and more including no surprise inspections which we were assured was non-negotiable or do we already forget this line in the sand that turned out to mean nothing at all. The whole point of the Ayatollah’s phony “problem” with the deal is to align with Obama’s preposterous claim that deal critics are somehow in bed with Iranian hard-liners. It’s the other way around of course but the lunatic left buys it which shouldn’t surprise anyone. Some on this web-site seem confused as well which is very frightening. This president seems to thing that most American’s are total morons. He isn’t far off the mark.

Don’t be fooled by Khameini. He knows he has a sweet deal, that Obama custom-designed for Iran’s interest.

This is a shrewd move by a street smart negotiator. Khamenei is playing not-quite-happy-with-this-deal to help Obama’s narrative with deal opponents. Obama can now add that Iran “didn’t get everything it wanted, and if we’d better hold on to this deal, because Khamenei will never agree to any more restrictions. Nice move, Khameinei, but you don’t fool people like us who grew up in the Middle East. The BS coefficient here reaches to high heaven.

Iran never wanted a deal, it was the spineless west who wanted one at any cost. Iran wanted time to build the nukes and a war on the west. Seems like they are on track for both.

Perfect. Looks like we have the beginnings of the ” Death to the Iran Deal” on botgh sides of the Fence. Since Iran needs the funding like a Man needs to breath, let’s kill the Deal and the funding that goes with it! Iran will run out of money and stop some of their terrorist activities. Drive the price of oil lower ( this will hurt them more ) and maybe there will be an internal revolution so that they could all rise up against each other. When the dust has cleared, maybe there will be someone of intelligence left to talk to.

blocks every pathway to mullahs building the bomb. Every domestic pathway, that is. What it doesn’t block is the pathway in nuclear North Korea-Irans’s lonstanding “Axis of Evil” science & technology partner, and the world’s worst nuclear proliferator-who’d sell an off the shelf nuke to Iran for the asking.

Sorry, but I dont see how the header of this piece is justified by the facts set forth in its text. The words attributed to the Supreme leader do not, ipso facto, support the claim that he does not support the deal or that he wants more concessions. Moreover, if he opposed it, it would probably not be passed or accepted Iran´s government.
