Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Raymond Ibrahim: Saudi Arabia — The World’s Greatest Hypocrite

Aug 19, 2015 4:54 pm By Raymond Ibrahim

King SalmanSaudi Arabia recently preached to the international community about the need to confront “intolerance, extremism and human rights violations.”

If this sounds surreal, consider the following excerpts from a July 26 report in the Saudi Gazette (emphasis added):

Saudi Arabia has reiterated its call on the international community to criminalize any act vilifying religious beliefs and symbols of faith as well as all kinds of discrimination based on religion.

Saudi Arabia wants Western cartoonists, comedians, and others—people who represent only their individual selves—to stop mocking the religious beliefs and symbols of Islam, even as the Arabian kingdom’s own institutionalized policy is to vilify and discriminate against the religious beliefs and symbols of all other faiths.

Not a single non-Muslim worship building is allowed there; the highest Islamic authority decreed that it is “necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.”  Whenever Christians are suspected of meeting in a house for worship—or as one Saudi official once complained, “plotting to celebrate Christmas”—they are arrested and punished.

Any cross or other non-Muslim symbol found is confiscated and destroyed. Anyone caught trying to smuggle Bibles or any other “publications that have prejudice to any other religious belief other than Islam” can be executed.

In 2011, a Colombian soccer-player “was arrested by the Saudi moral police after customers in a Riyadh shopping mall expressed outrage over the sports player’s religious tattoos, which included the face of Jesus of Nazareth on his arm.”  In 2010 a Romanian player kissed the tattoo of a cross he had on his arm after scoring a goal, causing public outrage.

And yet, Saudi Arabia has the unmitigated gall to ask the West—where Islam is freely practiced, where mosques and Korans proliferate, and where Muslims are granted full equality—to cease “discrimination based on religion.”

Continues the Saudi Gazette:

Addressing an international symposium on media coverage of religious symbols based on international law, which started in this French city on Saturday, a senior Saudi official said the Kingdom emphasized years ago that the international community must act urgently to confront ethnic, religious and cultural intolerance, which has become widespread in all communities and peoples of the world.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, few countries exhibit as much “ethnic, religious and cultural intolerance” as does the Arabian kingdom.  Along with the aforementioned discrimination and intolerance against all other religions, Saudi Arabia is notoriously clannish and racist.

Ten percent of the population is denied equal rights because of their race; black men are barred from holding many government positions; black women are often put on trial for “witchcraft”; castrated African slaves are sold on Facebook in the birthplace of Islam, and its princes are known to beat their black slaves to death. Human Rights Watch has described conditions for foreign workers in Saudi Arabia as resembling slavery.

Worse of all is if you’re black and Christian…. Keep reading

Soddy created ISIS with its Wahhabist-Salafist ideology. ISIS is merely taken what they learned in Soddy textbooks to its ultimate conclusions.

By criticizing ISIS, Soddies are criticizing their own religion.

This is an example of how Islam destroys the human mind…the need to confront “intolerance, extremism and human rights violations.”

Yeah, right! In other words, “You can’t criticize OUR religion in Soddy, but WE can criticize the religion of ISIS.”

ISIS is the Frankenstein’s monster created by its father…Soddy.

What a coincidence. I was just going through my “Cairo Declaration” File, (The Istanbul Process: Res 16/18, etc.) on the OIC’s efforts to criminalize criticism of Islam. I’m wondering why I’m not hearing people confront her on the campaign trail with her collaboration with the OIC’s effort to criminalize free speech.

Also: Mr. Spencer, could you do something to darken the letters in the comment feature? I can barely see them. They’re “gray”.

Saudi Arabia is funding the Islamic State which is essentially a cut price Saudi Arabia.
In the UK the Saudis own great tracts of prime real estate & when their last ruler died
flags were flown at half mast on Westminster Abby.
If the Saudis had their way the Abbey would be a mosque.
From running a fifth of the World a century back, the UK is now laughed at by half the
    World.

What you declare is actually true.

BRITAIN is being sold on the slave market of the Middle East! Not only isrime estate being bought ip by Islamic companies buteven landmark sites and Britsh heirlooms have beenauctioned off to the highest bidder ( oppressive religion no object!) In most case the highest bidder is usually Islamic Middle Eastern countries.

Whilst this is happening in the higher echelons of British society on the lower levels due to their stratospheric birth rate ( which is now bearing fruit) the followers of the prophet are graduating and running government departments , businesses ,schools , real estate and letting companies. THE BRITISH ARE ……..KED! Unless , tha tis they begin a well thoght out and long term strategy to roll back the Islamist influence.

Mind you I am not holding my breath!

So what’s new?? We know that all Muslims are hypocrites – maybe saudi Arabia is more so but I can’t find any Muslim who is not a liar and a hypocrite. If you compare Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia then you will know they are all at the same level of hypocrisy!! Its the religion that makes them hypocrite.

Going through my OIC and free speech file I found an Imprimis article that mentioned Hillary announcing a “High-Level Meeting on Combating Religious Intolerance” conference with the OIC in Washington, (that was closed to the public; have the transcripts on that meeting been revealed yet?), and that on the opening day of the conference, (in Washington/Istanbul?) Saudi Arabia beheaded a woman for sorcery. See “Blasphemy and Free Speech” by Paul Marshall. Imprimis Feb. 2012-Vol. 41- No. 2

“Saudi Arabia is notoriously clannish and racist”

Human Rights Watch has described conditions for foreign workers in Saudi Arabia as resembling slavery”

Read Hugh Fitzgerald’s article Islam as a Vehicle for Arab Supremacism and get Peter Hammond’s book, Slavery, Terrorism and Islam. Believe me, you will kick yourself for not adding this book to your library earlier.

It still remains to determine which is more surreal, more unbelievable: that Saudi Arabia, which tops the charts of state-enforced religious intolerance and ethnic discrimination, is calling on the West “to confront ethnic, religious and cultural intolerance,” or that the West deigns to participate in such disgracefully hypocritical forums.

    Indeed.

“our dear, dear friends, the Saudis…”

More than obviously, anyone who looks at the issue with any bit of thought can see through the hypocrisy immediately.

The issue in the United States is that the Saudis use their vast oil cash to literally buy politicians, media outlets, and colleges.

      http://abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=1402008

The funny thing is, it’s not really in the interest of Saudi Arabia for the US to go Islamic, as our ability to project military support to Saudi Arabia will deteriorate dramatically. It’s like the old cold war joke about an announcement in the Russian politbureau that the United States had gone Communist. Everyone was celebrating except one grizzled old Bolshevik who sat looking glum. “What wrong, comrade? We just heard great news.” one of the other members said….

“Yes, but now, where are we going to get our wheat?” the old Bolshevik replied.”

The thing to realize about Saudi Arabia is they can be our allies in certain instances, but never, ever our friends. In certain cases, there is a common interest, and in those cases, the countries can collaborate. But, it is absolutely vital that the US totally block any influence of Saudi money in the US.

The paradoxical thing is, I believe the Saudis would actually be more comfortable dealing with a country that protected its own interests, not that it matters what the Saudis are comfortable with or not. But, it’s simply strange to deal with someone who is willing to see his own house destroyed.

Interesting thoughts, especially the last line. Our self-defeating foreign policy must cause global head scratching as other nations try to figure us out. Perhaps some haven’t yet realized that we’re just idiots and that logic doesn’t apply.

Point about buying influence; I think JW reported about a Saudi prince w $300 billion he’s going to use to spread more islam to the US and Europe. And I thought Soros was bad. How does one counter that? I wish i knew…

Raymond Ibrahim: Saudi Arabia — The World’s Greatest Hypocrite
    ……………………

Great article–I would just take issue with the use of the word “hypocrite”.

The Saudis are cynics, and more than happy to use the terminology of equality and respect to crush freedom of speech.

But they are not hypocrites–they are Muslim supremacists.

    • mortimer says

      Aug 20, 2015 at 12:00 pm

Agree: “they are not hypocrites–they are Muslim supremacists”

Saudis have no belief whatsoever in equality, tolerance or human rights. It’s window dressing to gain support for their intolerant censorship program which would remove the freedom of expression.

They appeal to human rights to suppress human rights. It is cynical duplicity. They know exactly what they’re doing…lying.

      • mortimer says

        Aug 20, 2015 at 12:05 pm

It is not a ‘human right’ to never hear or see a message you don’t like.

Because there is no ‘official world religion’, it is IMPOSSIBLE for a world court to declare what ‘BLASPHEMY’ is.

Because so many religions disagree with one another, it is impossible to censor one or all of them. At that point, no one would have the right to say anything about religion whatsoever, because every religious statement (or skeptical statement) would be ‘blasphemy’ to another religion.

Saudis are trying to make Islam the ‘DE FACTO’ official world religion.

    • Lucretius says

      Aug 20, 2015 at 4:00 pm

Quite right, it isn’t hypocrisy. It’s more like this: “When I am weak, I ask you to ‘tolerate’ and say only nice things about my sort, because that is your religion. But when I am strong, I don’t tolerate your sort, because that is not my religion.”
