Shukee Begum and others like her left Britain in order to join an entity that considers itself to be at war with Britain and has vowed to destroy it. To allow such people back into the country is suicidal. And that is exactly what Britain appears to be.
“British widow who left the UK to join Isil now stranded in Turkey and desperate to come home,” by Lauren Williams, Telegraph, August 15, 2015:
A British woman and her five young children who left the UK to join Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) in Syria are now stranded in Turkey and desperate to come home after her husband was killed fighting with the militants.
Shukee Begum is believed to have left her Manchester home with her family sometime in the last twelve months to live alongside her husband, a jihadist and also a British national, in Isil’s self declared capital of Raqqa.
Now widowed after her husband was killed in battle, the woman of Somali origin, is seeking to return with her young family to the UK. The children are aged between one and 12, including three girls and a toddler….
It is unclear whether Mrs Begum would face terror charges if and when she returns to the UK. Any decisions on prosecutions are taken by police and the Crown Prosecution Service on a case by case basis….
