” “Former Al Risalah bookstore owner Wisam Haddad avoids jail after counter-terrorism raid,” by Rachel Olding, Sydney Morning Herald, September 28, 2015 (thanks to Kenneth):
Controversial Islamic fundamentalist Wisam Haddad has avoided prison over a counter-terrorism raid on his western Sydney home that uncovered weapons, an Islamic State flag, a large stash of extremist DVDs, newspaper clippings and a machete under his bed.
On Monday, Mr Haddad, the former owner of the hardline Al Risalah book store and prayer centre in Bankstown, was given a good behaviour bond in the Downing Centre Local Court for possessing three prohibited weapons: two tasers and a can of OC (oleoresin capsicum) spray.
He told officers who raided his Leppington home on January 9 that he had confiscated the items from troubled youths who frequented Al Risalah.
The OC spray was found in his bedroom, one taser was found in the garage and the other was in a box of miscellaneous items in the laundry, court documents state.
AdvertisementWhen asked how the confiscated items from Al Risalah ended up at his home, he told officers: “Well it probably came here when we moved most of the stuff.”
Fairfax Media understands that officers also uncovered about 100 DVDs with religious sermons and Islamic State material, an Islamic State flag, dozens of newspaper clippings about counter-terrorism operations and various arrests in Australia and a machete under his bed.
It is understood many of the DVDs contained sermons by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the former leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq.
Those items were seized but no charges were laid because they are not illegal to own. Most will be handed back to Mr Haddad, after his matter was finalised on Monday, Fairfax Media understands.
Police prosecutor Nick Nicholas cast doubt on Mr Haddad’s claim that he had confiscated the OC spray and tasers from others.
“Why he would remain in possession of them, it defies logic,” Sergeant Nicholas said.
Magistrate Michael Barko said it was concerning that Mr Haddad had not handed the items in to police and kept them at home where his five children, aged between two and 13, could have accidentally accessed them.
“Therein lies the criminality of the offence,” he said.
However, Magistrate Barko said Mr Haddad was otherwise a man of “impeccable character” because he has no prior convictions and looks after his five children.
“He is a person of good ilk who is a family man and a useful member … of the community,” he said.Mr Haddad was believed to be involved in the fire-bombing of a religious rival’s juice bar and has courted controversy in the past with inflammatory comments.
He has pleaded to be deported so he could move to Islamic State territory and has professed his support for the terror group and his close friend Khaled Sharrouf, who posted gruesome photos of himself and his family while he was fighting for Islamic State.
Al Risalah was a long-time target of counter-terrorism police due to its controversial lectures and close links to several foreign fighters.
Haddad closed the bookstore in 2013, citing a vendetta by some community members and the media, however Fairfax Media understands small groups of men continue to use a back room for meetings….

WHAT IS THIS? WATCH THE MOSLEM JIHADI THUMB THEIR NOSE AT THE SYSTEM AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A JOKE DAY? THAT’S THREE STORIES IN AN HOUR!

Mohammed also had ‘impeccable character’ looking after all his wives and slaves and renting the latter out.
What a great family man Mohammed was! Just ignore that Mohammed was also a mass murderer, plagiarist, pedophile, prevaricator, pirate and psychopath and you have the character that every Muslim believes is ‘perfect’ and must be imitated.
You become like what you admire.
Adolf Eichmann was a very loving father too.

As for those cruel, vicious and murderous jihadist fiends who compose the brutal and deadly jihad entity ISIS. They are actually acting out in behavior that is consistent with the teachings of violence and killing found in the”holy book” of Islam ,the Koran. As seen in ,for example 9:5,111,112. 47:4..Therefore the malicious thugs of ISIS are ,indeed, real Muslims and ISIS really is an Islamic organization. Nevertheless, there are some people who might understandably ask “Just how can the ISIS members, being so very religious, also be so very ruthless ,violent and murderous ?” The answer to that question in found in the Bible For the Bible teaches that there are some people who are so extremely malice-filled,callous, unfeeling, heartless and dangerous because they have had “their conscience seared with a hot iron.” First Timothy 4:2. [K.J.V.] The “hot iron ” in this case is Islam.

Indeed – but apparently, the judge is above logic.

By all means, honor this family man’s plea . . . send him and his family to the hellhole of ISIS-controlled territory.

YEP.
Out with him!
(I’m an Aussie).
Nothing to stop all us Aussies writing to our MPs and PM – and since this case involves a Judge, the Attorney-General – to complain about this sort of nonsensical kid-glove treatment of Islamic loose cannons/ ticking time-bombs.
Don’t give up if it seems they’re not listening.
Squeaky wheels do get grease, if they squeak long enough and loud enough and if enough of them do it.
There are still lots and lots more non-Muslim voters in Australia than Muslim voters.
So *every* one of us who wants 1/ no more Muslims in Australia and 2/ Muslims here present to be strongly encouraged to LEAVE (and there are plenty of instances, such as this one, where I think they should be REQUIRED to leave) has to write. Politely, briefly, pointedly.
Over and over and over. Because a letter from a constituent is deemed, by a sort of rule of thumb, to represent 150 people who think the same way but just haven’t got round to putting pen to paper or finger to keyboard and then putting the results in an envelope, buying a stamp, and posting it.
(REAL letters, on paper, count for more than emails).
Have at it, my fellow Aussies.
We must REFUSE to give up.
Make noise and keep on making it.
Complain, complain, complain about this kind of thing…dangerous Mohammedans slithering out of the grip of law enforcement and being turned loose to potentially kill tens, dozens, hundreds or even thousands of Aussies, further down the track.
Man Monis slithered off the hook and look what happened there.
What will *this* bloke – or those he incites – get up to, sooner or later?
Not I said the sparrow says
This is the same Sydney court system that allowed Man Monis (the Sydney Seige jihadist fiend) to be out on bail pending a charge of involvement in his wife’s murder.
He was shot dead before the trial came up.
Afterwards they asked Why was he out on bail?
When will they ever learn?
Whem will they ever learn?
Where has all the common sense gone?
Maybe, after all, it’s the flouride in the water.
What else could it be unless Barko is barking mad.

Mr Haddad does not work despite having five children.Mr Haddad is not alone among muslims living in Australia in this regard.
Most non muslim Australians go to work every day, work hard and pay tax so the Mohammedans can breed like rabbits, pray five or six times a day , generally just do nothing and bludge on welfare
A backlash is building, many of us have had enough

Nice isn’t it? We have to put up with this everyday of our lives in Sydney. And our political class keeps on telling us how this vermin has enriched us – “remember when we only had white bread”?
And now they want to import another 12000. And judging from the uproar that came from the left and the veiled threats from the Muslim community ‘leaders’ at the mere prospect of this intake being made up of Middle East Christians and other persecuted minorities – you can bet they will now all be Muslims.
Lenny Thetruth says
Some people should have their panties in a bunch. You let these people in, and allow their hate to propagate. This is the kind of person who is planning Jihad, and is waiting for it to start. The so called weapons would not be considered unusual if not in Australia. They are tasers and tear gas, which is more defensive than aggressive as far as actual fighting goes. They can still be used offensively, but they are more limited than conventional weapons.
If this has happened in the US, there would not have been such a fuss, but at this point, if you had the weapons we average Americans own, there would have been Muslim blood all over the place. Maybe it is time to rethink the anti-gun laws you have enacted. Yes, he would have had a gun too, but at this point, he would have been outnumbered.
