Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

“Case disrupted” ahead of Pope Francis visit to US

Sep 13, 2015 6:51 pm By Robert Spencer

Nothing is said about who was perpetrating this “particular case,” and indeed, it could be enraged Amish or fiendish Anabaptists, but the most likely candidates are Islamic jihadists, who have already plotted to kill the Pope.

“‘Case Disrupted’ Ahead of Pope Francis Visit to US, Says House Homeland Security Chair,” by Benjamin Bell, ABC News, September 13, 2015:

The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee expressed his concern today about security ahead of Pope Francis’s visit to the United States later this month, adding that authorities have already “disrupted one particular case.”

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) didn’t offer specifics on the case he said was disrupted, only saying he had been briefed by the Secret Service. The pope is scheduled to arrive in the U.S. later this month and will visit New York, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia….

What will it take to drill through the thick cranium of this well-intentioned fool — IEDs in the mass mitre / a ricin dipped chalice / suicide vested altar boy ?

“First the Saturday people then the Sunday people” is Islam’s motto because the Friday people believe that once Islam is supreme all of Islam’s emptiness will disappear but, without enemies to blame Islamic misery would only intensify upon itself.

If it were “right-wing extremists” or “Christian extremists” it would be making headlines all over the MSM, and panels of pundits would be hitting us on the head with it.

Now, what terror group(s) have their driving ideology carefully whitewashed and scrubbed by the MSM and the Obama administration? Who are we not supposed to criticize?

I think the Pope’s visit would be more realistic and relative if was to the refugee camps where Christians have been driven. If he survives that trip then he could come to the US with full authority to speak for the refugees.

Right now he’s just another Ivory Tower liberal doing more damage to Christianity; preparing them for exploitation and submission.

      Yep.

      Pretty disgusting.

@Westman, good idea ! He should visit the persecuted Christians and Christian refugees and then he can come to America to talk about the evil that CAUSED IT and how to stop it., not mumbo jumbo about climate change.

The Papacy is getting political and i fear that it will be like Islam.

Islamic fundamentalists extremists are highly likely violent warriors. Think Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, etc.
Christian fundamentalists extremists tend toward pacifism. Think Quakers, Amish, Mennonites, etc.

Enraged Amish; Fiendish Anabaptists : LOL ! Love your sarcasm Robert ! Surely these Radical Protestants are a threat to the nations where they abide . Only of course, because these STABLERS or STAFF POSSESSORS as they were called, were PACIFISTS .At a time when Europe was THREATENED by islam , these Radical Protestant Christians refused to participate in war and violence .
Whatever we think of these people, its interesting to consider that RADICAL CHRISTIANITY leads to PACIFISM while RADICAL islam leads to EXTREME VIOLENCE. AND MY POINT IS ? Even in its most RADICAL FORM CHRISTIANITY IS SUPERIOR AND SAFER THAN islam . Some of us wish and PRAY that the POPE would spend more time DEFENDING CHRISTIANITY and less time DEFENDING islam .
ISIS is the greatest threat to THE VATICAN , NOT CLIMATE CHANGE ! ON this issue, THE POPE IS IN ERROR and CANNOT be Speaking EX CATHEDRA !

Just a few months ago I observed a contest between some Amish using their weapons – teams of work horses. The precision was amazing. The violence, non-existant.

Going back over the centuries, a large number of Popes especially Innocent II in the 13th century, Pius V in the 16th, who was actively engaged in the runup to the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, and Innocent XI, thanks to whose effective diplomacy the King of Poland was able to defeat the huge Turkish army at the gates of Vienne, were very active in the struggle to save Western Chrstianity and civilization from islamic barbarity and they succeeded. In fact, the Turks at the gates of Vienna intended to move on to Rome and convert the Basilica of St. Peter into a mosque. The present pope is totally naive in the most appalling and imprudent fashion regarding the innminent danger of islamic jihad. He has even offered to take “refugees” into the Vatican.
Here is an interesting article published in the Catholic Magazine. Catholic World Report. The author askes the question as to whether a future pope will have to flee Rome as Islam more than very likely to take it over. If he doesn’t he will probably end up a martyr.

Look, beginning with St. Peter, most of the early popes were martyred for the faith. Killing the pope is nothing especially new or special. Those who imagine it to be a supreme victory, are ignorant of history, of Charles Martel and Lepanto. Islamic jihad is a sad attempt to form a culture, even as it devours its own children. I’ve been told that Allah is an ancient moon god, one of many worshipped at Mecca prior to Mohammad. Robert Spenser’s book even questions whether Mohammad even existed. The oldest Quranic manuscript recently discovered in England, apparently, predates Mohammad. They form an unimposing collection of impoverished and autocratic nations, under educated, many illiterate, can’t even read the Quran, don’t know what it teaches. The “ijtihad” concept is rejected. Reason and science are rejected. Chaos is the normative rule. Blind group-think manipulates the masses. And their 21st-century Allah (identical, it would appear, to their 7th century Allah), apparently, wills all these trials upon his people for reason or reasons unknown and unquestioned. Yes, as some have pointed out, this is a religion of submission (Islam) and slavery to the will of a deity that hasn’t revealed himself in some 1400 years since the death of the founding father and prophet. This sect or cult, as some writers have labeled it, struggles to remain unchanged, even though we know Allah has often reversed himself and changed his mind, according to Mohammad in those early days.
~~ What are the chances for assimilation? Given the world press headlines day after bloody day, it’s easier to slice the throat of some innocent person and blame Allah’s will for it than it is to get a job and become a productive and successful citizen. What’s to say that in 1,000 years, they will be no different and no farther ahead than they were in A.D. 622?.
