A Muslim pilgrim in Mecca committed suicide by hanging himself in a bathroom of the holy site of Mina. He did so in “hope of entering paradise.”
The man was from Bangadesh and reportedly 50-years-old. He was found hanging in the bathroom around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22.
According to witnesses, the man had earlier said that “death while dressed as a pilgrim [ihram clothing] in such a sacred site guarantees one instant paradise.”
Friends of the suicide told authorities that he did not suffer any psychological issues or depression that might have caused him to commit suicide. Instead, “he was very happy to have reached the sacred lands” of Mecca.

“Friends of the suicide told authorities that he did not suffer any psychological issues or depression that might have caused him to commit suicide” He’s a muslim. That’s a psychological issue in itself.
Pere LaChaise says
Sounds like his moslem psychosis has acquired some Hindu overtones. Aged Hindus who desire moksha, release from cycle of karma, travel to Benares (Varanasi) to die of natural causes in the city sacred to Shiva and be cremated at the ghats on the shore of the Ganges river. Note that Hindus do not commit suicide, just hope to die in the holy place. Islam is such the death-cult that suicidal thoughts are becoming more widely prevalent. Let’s hope that peaceful self-immolation becomes more common than so called martyrdom (shahid) directing violence outward against the kuffar.

I’d like to tell you that you don’t know how true that is, but somehow I think that you do. God help us.

WELL SAID.

He will find hell a very hot place indeed.

Great idea.
They should all do it.
Oliver says
I was going to suggest that (merely) a few hundred million of them do it, but -I like your idea better. Why be a piker?
And, hopefully the head Muslim in the US will start the US delegation of Muslim suicides to hell or Muslim paradise. Biden is not too bright, but as a catholic, he has to be better then Nobrainer.
Babs says
I thought suicide without killing kufr was a free passport into hellfire. What a ridiculous belief system, but I hope a lot more people follow suit!
TheBuffster says
I’m certain that this guy has misunderstood his religion on this point. Maybe dying while on a pilgrimage to Mecca is supposed to send you directly to Paradise, but I’m quite sure that committing suicide while on pilgrimage sends you to the other place.
American says
Let’s hope it catches on.

Geez, the other day I heard something about several hundred muzzies who got trampled to death in Mecca cuz they started going around the black stone the wrong way! I wonder if they said, Geez, ya know we really must stop meeting this way????

quran 4:29: And do not kill yourselves
Ups!
Alarmed Pig Farmer says
Well, they like to say they love death more than life, so this guy was a lover. But he was probably a horn dog, too. He no doubt was thinking about piles of peachfuzz houris and the odd hidden pearl, and his high throne up there in Islamo Porno Heaven. Trouble is, the Mullahs may rule that he doesn’t qualify cuz his death wasn’t done in pursuit of Jihad, the Cause, Moslem world takeover. If that’s the case, he can only hope there is an Islamo-Purgatory.
Mo says
Oh, this is so sad! The moment the last breath left his body here on earth he woke up in a place more horrifying than anything anyone can ever imagine. And the final judgement is yet to come.
If he could speak now, he’d be screaming to his coreligionists to leave Islam and turn to Christ – the ONLY one who can pardon our sins and allow us into heaven!
How I loathe the death cult of Islam with all my soul.
Godwin says
Latest teachings from Johrei n Mahikari say people who die before their God-given times, will have their souls stuck to earth as earth-bound spirits as they are not permitted to enter the spiritual realm of God yet. They become the haunting ghosts around the areas where they met their deaths. No wonder, there are so many ghosts around. Yes, this man’s soul is suffering in purgatory, for the supreme God has never ordered him to die for Him or His cause.

Were these people raised growing various drugs… Opium, Cocaine, and did not these mothers work in it and breath it all in while they were pregnant?
For how many generations?
voegelinian says
This Bangladeshi Muslim ought to know better — according to Islam, you can’t enter Paradise by merely killing yourself — you must take down some kuffar with you. See Koran 9:111: “…kill and be killed…” (fayaqtuloona wayuqtaloona ). Surely, he could have found some filthy Rafidite Shia Muslims hanging around the Hajj to kill before killing himself…? Bad Muslim!
voegelinian says
This subtle discrepancy or distinction by the way, is exploited by Islamopologists doing that style of Islamic deception known as kitman. In fact, it is an exquisite example of kitman. since that word denotes, in effect, “telling part of the truth, but not the whole truth, in order to deceive”. So when an Islamopologist intones self-righteously “Islam does not condone suicide — in Islam, suicide is forbidden…!!!” he is telling the truth — half the truth. The other half he is cleverly leaving out is that “being slain” in the path of defending Allah (per Koran 9:111, for example) is esteemed as one of the highest goods, for which the reward is Paradise — as long as the “being slain” involves & includes fighting and killing the enemy. What Islam forbids is standard-issue garden-variety suicide — killing yourself because you’re depressed that you lost your job, your girlfriend, etc. But plunging into battle in order to “kill and be killed” — that is a virtue in Islam.
And the problem with Islam is that the “battle” and the “enemy” in Islam have become magnified to include all peoples of Mankind who have not submitted themselves to Allah and to His Prophet. And that leads often to another tack the Islamopologists try to take — that the military rhetoric of core Islamic texts and which riddles Sharia law refers only contextually to early military battles fought by Muhammad in self-defense.. Mountains of data from Islamic texts (e.g., the tafsirs), from history and from current events indicate massively otherwise.

Sorry, but in the context of the absurd number of people who make this trip, one deluded fool topping himself in his hotel room is really no big deal. Don’t see the story here to be honest.
Rikki H says
Agreed Ian, but worth reading for the optimistic value of this becoming a regular occurance. I’d like to hear more stories like this.
I don’t understand why so many muslims believe Allah’s got their backs, they’re losing every war apart from the commercial one and blinding western governments with taqiyya. But in actual warfare, they really can’t fight worth a damn.
Rikki H says
Finally an islamic suicide not accompanied several other civilian deaths. I wonder if he was rewarded with 72 sluts seeing as no infidels were smote alongside him.
This guy was probably bummed because his wives wouldn’t put out or something so opted out based on the great lie that encourages brainless muslim youths to blow themselves to hell, I really hope this becomes a trend. Divine sex is surely a more attractive proposition than grooming and raping non-muslim teenage girls.
Dave says
A person’s killing himself, that’s, committing suicide for this or that reason is neither accepted lawful reasonably nor religiously, and it is not permissible. This is because a person, who attempts to do such thing, indeed violates the boon of life entrusted to him by Allah and takes on the consequences of such a great sin. Moreover, such person is not considered decent by Muslims, and people do not have a high opinion of him anymore. And as he committed such an important sin, he deserves the punishment of Hell in the hereafter. (Muslim, Faith: 175).
