“In the passport, he is named Yusufu Mieraili, 25, from Xinjiang. “Bangkok bombing: ‘Main suspect’ arrested near Cambodian border,” by Lizizie [sic] Dearden, Independent, September 1, 2015 (thanks to Lookmann):
A man believed to be the main suspect in the bombing of a shrine in Bangkok that killed 20 people has been arrested.
Thailand’s Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, said police investigating his country’s deadliest ever bombing had detained the man on the border with Cambodia, in Sa Kaeo province.
Mr Prayuth said he was the “main suspect” for the bombing, adding that he was being transferred to Bangkok for questioning.
The Prime Minister said investigators had evidence that several suspects were planning to flee the country but warned against speculating about the arrested man.
“We will know who they are, where they came from, who’s behind this,” he added.
“We have to do a lot of tests, fingerprints. If he is the guy, he is the guy.”
The Bangkok Post reported that authorities believe him to be the person highlighted by police in CCTV footage, which showed a man wearing a yellow shirt and appearing to leave a backpack behind at the shrine.
Television footage of the suspect showed a thin man in a baseball cap, sunglasses and with a short moustache being paraded in front of journalists by security forces, who displayed items of evidence found during a search. The suspect has not officially been named but Thai media have been sharing a Chinese passport photo of a man matching his description.
In the passport, he is named Yusufu Mieraili, 25, from Xinjiang. The province is home to China’s Uighur Muslim minority, hundreds of whom have been detained and deported by Thailand after attempting to seek asylum there.
The arrest came after security forces detained the first foreign suspect on Saturday following raids on the outskirts of Bangkok.
His identity and nationality have not been confirmed but police requested a Turkish translator to assist in questioning the 28-year-old man, who has been charged with possessing illegal explosives. He has obviously had a hair cut, but by the build and look he could be the man in yellow shirt.
He was caught trying to cross into Cambodia by a remote crossing point. He was carrying a Chinese passport indicating the traveler came from the Uigher region of China. But remember, this was a gang that faked passports, the passport may have been for a Uighar they had re-passported as a Turk. The suspects photo may have been grafted into the passport so he could flee. From his appearance I don’t believe he is Uigher. More likely Arab, Turk or Pakistani.

Looks like you have no iidea what Uyghurs look like.
Uyghurs are a hybrid of Mongoloid and Caucasian. They have half East Asian and half Europoid DNA and physical features.
They are the results of Turkic Mongoloid nomadic invaders from Siberia and Mongolia invading the Tarim Basin and conquering the native Indo-European Caucasians. The Turkic Mongoloid invaders commited cultural and partially racial genocide on the native Indo-Europeans, injecting their genes into them, and wiping out their language and identity.
Now all of them identify as Turkic and speak a Turkic language.
You will see Uyghurs who are blond haired but have Mongoloid eyelids, or Uyghurs who look entirely Mongoloid or more shifted towards Caucasian. All Uyghurs are mixed race (even if thry appear wholly Mongoloid or wholly Caucasian, do a DNA test and you will find a portion of the other race’s DNA inside them)
Turkic peoples span across from Sibeia to Anatolia. The ones in the east towards Siberia are Mongoloid. The ones in the west towards Anatolia are Caucasian.
Central Asia is split down the middle with hybrid Mongoloid-Caucasians such as Uyghurs, Uzbeks, and Turkmen.
Kazakhs are almost entirely Mongoloid.
Central Asia used to be inhabited by Indo-European speaking Caucasians like Sogdians, Tocharians, and Sakas.
As a result of Turkic Mongoloid nomadic invaders from Siberia and Mongolia, these Caucasian Indo-Europeans were subjected to cultural genocide and forcible race mixing aka rape.
Due to the fact that the population density of caucasians was higher in the western areas than the eastern areas, the race mixing resulted in Mongoloid features being lost in the western areas like Anatolia but the cultural genocide was complete.
The Indo-European Caucasian Tocharians and Sakas in Xinjiang were part of China’s western protectorate during the Han and Tang dynasties. China stopped the nomadic Mongoloid invaders from the steppe like the Xiongnu and Turkic Khaganate (Gokturks) from preying on, raping and attacking the Tocharian and Sakas. The Indo-European city states in the region were protectorates of China like the Indian Princely states were protectorates of Britain.
But the An Lushan Rebellion broke out in China and forced the Tang dynasty to abandon the Western Protectorate and evacuate its military garrisons.
Once the Chinese soldiers left, the Turks swooped down from Mongolia and Siberia, conquered, raped, and subjected the Indo-European Caucasians to genocide.
That is how the “Uyghur” Turkic ethnic group was formed.
Uyghurs are products of genocidal mass rape by Turkic Mongoloids. Analogous to Mestizos in Spanish America.
There is a Hadith in Sahih Bukhari where the Turks are described as having small eyes and flat faces like shields. Like typical Mongoloids.
The medieval Arabs in the Abbasid Caliphate even confused Tibetans with Turks because both of them were Mongoloid.
A statue of the Turkic Khagan Kul Tegin was excavated from over 1,200 years ago and he looks like a typical Mongoloid.
Those were the original Turks. They became more caucasian by progressively conquering westerward and raping their victims.
19th century European travellers in Central Asia wrote that Turkmen (Mongoloids) would raid and take Persian women as sex slaves and have children with them on purpose to make their descendants look more Caucasian.

Well thanks for the history lesson, now what’s your view on
Uighur terrorism becoming international?
Mazo says
This is a blow to the image painted in the west of Uyghurs as “freedom fighters”.
Uyghurs are devious liars. They often try to claim that the ancient Tocharian blonde hair blued eyed mummies were Turkic speaking Uyghurs and lie that Turks are indigenous to Xinjiang. Look up what was written by these liars in “Uyghurlar”. They claim they are the origin of human civilization and that their civilization is 6,000 years old.
Does the inferiority complex sound familiar? Like some people claiming they built the pyramids.
Uyghurs don’t admit to westerners that their ancestors were Turkic Mongoloids who raped the native Tocharians.
Lots of Turks look like Greeks or Armenians, because their Turkic Mongoloid ancestors migrated to Anatolia and raped the Greek and Armenian women.
The Ottoman Sultans themselves are products of hundreds of years of rape of European women. The original Ottomans looked like Turkmen Mongoloids from Central Asia, but the Sultans took Greek, Serbian, Romanian, and other European wives and their descendants now look all European.
In Uyghur cities like Khotan, you can see the legacy of the rape- Mongoloid looking people, and mixed race Mongoloid-Caucasian hybrids.
The only pure blood Caucasians are the Shia Ismaili Nizari Pamiris I mentioned below. They are referred to as Tajiks in China.
I highly recommend tourists intending to go to Xinjiang, to go to Tashkurgan and spend money on the Pamiris. Avoid spending money on Uyghur terrorists who will lie to your face and claim that the Tocharian civilization was theirs.
The Nizari Ismaili religious leader is the Aga Khan and he is a big playboy who likes bedding models and actresses and is not a fundamentalist at all. Nizari Ismailis are not devout, they don’t even pray and fast.
You can also spend time in Hui and Dongxiang areas in China and visit the Halal restaurants and Sufi shrines and tombs.
Mazo says
There is a small remnant of Indo-European Caucasians in far western Xinjiang. They are the Pamiris, an Iranic people. (They are called Tajiks but actually they aren’t the same as the Farsi speaking Tajiks).
They are Ismaili Shia Muslims and lots of them have blonde and red hair, and colored green and blue eyes. They look like typical northern Europeans. They have some custums left over from Zoroastrianism.
The Uyghurs used to prey on them and called them Ghalcha (a derogatory name) and take them as slaves.
The Turkic country Uzbekistan is committing cultural genocide on their Tajik population.
Uyghurs would love to do the same to the Pamiris. I hope the Pamiris survive sincw they are living in a Uyghur dominated region.
The Turkic genocide process against indigeneous natives is still ongoing. It happened to Tocharians, Sakas, Scythians, and Sogdians in Central Asia. Now they have been replaced by Uyghurs, Uzbeks, Turkmen, and Kazakhs.
It happened to the Tauri in Crimea. Now Turkic Crimean Tatars live there instead of the Indo-European Tauri.
It happened to Armenians, Assyrians, and Greeks in Anatolia. Now there are Turks.
Notice with the exception of the Assyrians, all the victims were Indo-European peoples. The Turks have a fetish for blonde, red haired, blue and green eyed victims.
Timur left a massive trail of rape and carnage in his campaigns.

Notice that Mazo has a raft of mostly off-topic and picayune details about Uyghur ethnicity, but *nothing* to say about this fine Mohammedan blowing up innocent people at a Thai temple.
But then, why would Mazo ever criticize Muslim savagery?

Long story short; He was seeking asylum in Thailand to avoid being caught and executed by the Chinese (real communists), but when the Thai authorities decided they don’t want to be overrun by muslim refugees, they decided to deport him. So he expressed his disappointment (revenge) by detonating a bomb.
Naivety and sympathy says
Your post seems to infer he had no option but to bomb Thailand as they refused to grant him “asylum”?
Here’s a radical idea…how about you give some of that sympathy to the 80 million Indian people who have died at the hands of muslim imperialists since they first swept over the plains of Pakistan. Naah, can’t do it…think about it 80 million people…and that is just India…forget about Nth Africa and Europe..these are all people killed for not being muslim. Asia Bibi…do you have any sympathy for her? This religion of Islam is a disease and should be banned worldwide.Mein Kampf is banned so too the Koran should be examined or banned. either or.
MKG says
Please read my comment again carefully. You may realize I have absolutely no sympathy for this turd what-so-ever. He may have felt he had no option, but as far as I am concerned he can burn in hell for following a path in life that left him very few options.
I share your sympathies over India.
Have a nice day.

Biting the hand that feeds —-
Why would they seek asylum in Thailand?
Very likely some Muslims were granted asylum in the past especially with Obama’s arm twisting.
Most people know not to feed bears.
It is no different with Muslims.
The old saying, “No good deed goes unpunished”, is with Muslims, so true.
It only emboldens a Muslim’s already huge sense of entitlement.
Kepha says
Actually, back in the late 1940’s and 1950’s, numbers of Muslims joined other Chinese from Yunnan province in fleeing the Communists and finding refuge in northern Thailand. You can see their restaurants bearing the legend “清真”, or “halal”, all over the area. Of course, these people are classed as Hui; not as Uighur. Their original culture is Chinese-speaking (with a handful of Bai), and they haven’t used Turkic or Persian languages since the days of the Mongol Khans (the community stems from Central Asian soldiers whom Kubilai Khan used in subduing the Kingdom of Dali).
Further, Hui Muslim people settled in northern Thailand are generally loyal to the Royal Thai Government–although some send their kids to Taiwan for Chinese-language educations. Islamic separatism in Thailand is a feature of the ethnically Malay far south.
Please note that the Uighur are a Turkic-speaking people (Frankly, I’d prefer to use the term “Turki”, which was the generic term for Kashgaris, Turpankik, Taranchai, and other Turkic-speaking, non-nomadic, Muslim groups whom the Great Noble Father of the Peoples Joseph Stalin decided were “Uighurs”, or heirs of a state that once existed in what’s now Mongolia–but I don’t call those shots)–not descendants of the ancient Hua-Xia culture of the North China Plain.
It should also be noted that at this stage of the game, the Thai government will be very, very cautious about doing anything that might offend Beijing. Maybe ETIM has decided that Thailand is now an enemy.
MKG says
Excellent comments Kepha. This is definitely your area of expertise.
One question though, who or what is ETIM?
Mazo says
The original people of theTarim Basin were two Indo-european peoples.
The Tocharians belong to their own independent branch of the Indo-European family. Their language was a centum language more akin to Celtic than to Indo-Iranians. They were Buddist and Manichaean.
The Sakas belonged to the Iranic branch of the Indo-European family. They were Eastern Iranian speakers and related to Pamiris and Pashtuns (Afghans). They were Buddhist. They proselytized and introduced Buddhism to China during the Han dynasty along with other Iranic peoples like Parthians.
Both of them had caucasian features, colored blonde and red hair and colored green and blue eyes.
There were two waves of Turkic invaders in the Tarim Basin in the 9th and 10th centuries. They were most definitely Mongoloid because the surviving paintings of them show Mongoloid people.
The original Old Uyghur language belonged to the Northwestern Turkic branch aka Siberian Turkic.
The Karluk language belonged to Southeastern branch aka Karluk Turkic.
The Old Uyghurs from the Uyghur Khaganate who were Buddhist and Manichaean, invaded and migrated into Turfan, Kumul, and Gansu.
The Karluks were Tengrist pagans who converted to Islam under Sultan Satuq Bughra Khan and founded the Kara-Khanid Khanate. Their capital was Kashgar and they invaded the Tarim Basin from the west and conquered the Sakas in Khotan.
The Karluk descendants in the Chagatai Khanate then conquered the Old Uyghur state at Turfan and Qocho (Kumul) and totally wiped out the Old Uyghur culture. The Old Uyghur language went extinct in Xinjiang and was totally replaced by Karluk Turkic whose modern descendent is the Eastern Turkic language, aka modern Uyghur.
Old Uyghur language only survived in Gansu where it became Western Yugur. The Yugur people are Buddhists like the Old Uyghurs.
Modern Uyghurs in the Tarim Basin are culturally, religiously, and linguistically heirs to the Karluks and the Kara-Khanid Khanate. Those in Kashgar and Khotan, the old Kara-Khanid lands, probably have no Old Uyghur ancestry at all, while those in Turfan and Kumul may have some Old Uyghur blood, although probably effaced with the blood of Karluk migrants from the west.
They named the Tarim Basin as “Altishahr” which means “six cities” in Eastern Turki.
The Yugur people in Gansu are culturally, reigiously, and linguististically heirs to the old Uyghur Khaganate in Mongolia.
Angemon says

Back in the 1990’s, the Thai had a similar, if not identical, gripe about the Burmese students seeking refuge in their country. A group of them hijacked an airplane to call attention to their plight, and it went over like the proverbial lead balloon with the Thais (for whom Burma/Myanmar was the traditional enemy).

Mahendra, I used to buy my bread (two kinds of Naan) and raisins from Uighurs. Believe me, many of them would not look out of place in parts of northern Pakistan, Afghanistan, or even Iran. Certainly hey’d blend in in Uzbekistan. My guess is that you could probably find a few people from Himchal Pradesh, Panjab, Kashmir, or even some of the Muslim communities in Uttar Pradesh in India itself who could pass for Uighur. And, yes, given the presence of some Turkic communities in the Bolshoi Kavkaz, I’m sure that there are probably Chechens and Daghestanis (and certainly Balkar and Nogai) whom Chinese would think “look Uighur”.
