On this special edition of The Glazov Gang, I was joined by Dr. Bruce Thornton, a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center who is a columnist for Frontpagemag.com.
Dr. Thornton discussed Europe’s Muslim Refugee Catastrophe, unveiling how the fiasco was completely predictable — and all the reasons why.
Don’t miss it!

The Iraq catastrophe was caused by destabilizing the country and then continuing to destabilize it and the countries around it, chiefly Syria. Obama and HilIary left Iraq prematurely and naively in a short-term strategy of political expediency. Iraq needed its trained military cadres who were fired, then hunted, then became embittered. The counter-revolution is the result. Because of Near Eastern tribalism, absolute democracy doesn’t work. The region needs constitutional quotas for tribal representation to guarantee genocide cannot happen and all tribes will be balanced in government.

Some of your points sound like NPR thinking.
By destabilize, I assume you mean removing Saddam.
Had Saddam stayed in power —- everything would be just fine????
You are overlooking Obama’s Cairo speech to the Muslim world, and his vigorous support of the “Arab Spring” fundamentalists and every Muslim’s inherent desire to kill everything in sight.

It was removing Saddam that kicked all this off, of course things would be better.

Dr. Thornton speaks of the multicultural “delusion”. It is, indeed, a delusion in those who hold to it, but it was trumpeted and force-fed to the population as a compulsory fashion. It is one of those dishonest cultural Marxist devices cleverly designed to bamboozle the listener, and is backed by the sanction of social shame and disgrace for disagreeing with it. Multiculturalism allows a group of people to section itself off from the rest and abide by a different set of rules. It is apartheid under a different name. It is the intentional but unannounced mechanism for Balkanisation.

Michael Copeland’s claim seems rather common in the Counter-Jihad. There are a number of problems with it.
The overarching problem is that it is predicated upon, and requires, a strangely cynical view of the West — a collection of societies where a small Elite are evil, and a vast majority who are stupid sheep being controlled by their evil Elites with regard to at least one (if not more) of the most important matters of moment in our time. If the West is this bad, one wonders why anyone would want to bother defending it. If it’s not that bad, then one should dial down and massage one’s rhetoric to reflect the logical consequences of it not being that bad, rather than forging ahead having one’s cake and eating it too.
If one thus adjusts one’s extremist cynicism and relaxes the two vectors – 1) the supposed evil & power of the Elites and 2) the supposed sheepish stupidity of the Masses – to reflect a more generous and realistic appraisal of one’s own West, one begins to consider that the Problem of the Problem (i.e., the problem of the West persisting in myopia about the problem of Islam) is at worst a mélange of willful evil and sincerely confused good. When we then factor in more accurately the nature of the evil in question, we must limit those Westerners to whom we would impute this to a tiny minority of extremists. And since on the opposite end of this polarity of Evil/Stupidity we have relaxed our cynicism about our fellow man, we must see that what leads many in the West to be PC MC about Muslims is not a matter of mere stupidity – for many of them are not stupid – nor a matter of mere ignorance, or laziness, or rigidity of thought (Hugh Fitzgerald’s Esdrújulo Elves); but rather of a kind of “learned folly” or what I have called Quantum Ignorance.
Additionally, Michael Copeland’s view seems dependent on a curiously quaint view of 21st century sociology resembling the Middle Ages, where everything fell along the division of Royals/Peasantry, rather than the rich and complex spectrum between rulers and governed which has evolved amazingly in the centuries since medieval times.
Finally (for now), Michael Copeland’s view is not only inadequate to explain why so many Conservatives and other reasonably supposed non-Leftists remain PC MC about Muslims – but also why we can see PC MC ideas in thinkers before the 20th century and even long before Karl Marx was even in diapers (e.g., Michel de Montaigne, 16th century).

Catastrophe? Pretty much sums it up…

Enoch Powell was a racist who disliked black peoples and his rivers of blood speech was concerned with Christian Caribbean immigration into Britain. Not Muslim immigration.

When you get done reading this, you’ll actually laugh over the PC idiocy.

Leave Racism Behind
Islam is the most powerful of the ideologies that have enslaved millions.
Now its coming to Europe and America where it cripples societies forever.
Sadly, people are still concern with racial classifications just like the African tribal systems.
The Arabs(Muslims) were focus in their jihad. African never recovered.
Now the West faces immigration jihad but the West are still divided on racial lines.
The way forward is to stand for humanity not tribalism.

This video is more than just Really Good.
This video is brilliantly incisive. The material covers a lot of ground most effectively.
I will take this video and put it in my basic set and push it a lot on social media.
People should go to youtube and give this video a thumbs up.
Big props to these two guys. Big thanks to Robert Spencer for promoting this material.
The only thing to add, which would make the video perfect, is the Ibn Warraq statement:

———————————-
The world is divided into two spheres, Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb. The latter, the Land of Warfare, is a country belonging to infidels which has not been subdued by Islam. The Dar al-Harb becomes the Dar-al Islam, the Land of Islam, upon the promulgation of the edicts of Islam.
Thus the totalitarian nature of Islam is nowhere more apparent than in the concept of Jihad, the Holy War, whose ultimate aim is to conquer the entire world and submit it to the one true faith, to the law of Allah…
There may be moderate Muslims, but Islam itself is not moderate…at most there is a difference of degree but not of kind.
All the tenets of Islamic fundamentalism are derived from the Qur’an, the Sunna, and the Hadith – Islamic fundamentalism is a totalitarian construct derived by Muslim jurists from the fundamental and defining texts of Islam. The fundamentalists, with greater logic and coherence than so-called moderate or liberal Muslims, have made Islam the basis of a radical utopian ideology that aims to replace capitalism and democracy…
Islamic fundamentalists recruit among Muslim populations, they appeal to Islamic religious symbols, and they motivate their recruits with Islamic doctrine derived from the Qur’an. . .
Islamists are against what they see as western materialism itself. Their choice is clear: Islam or jahiliyya. The latter term is redefined to mean modern-style jahiliyya of modern, democratic, industrialised societies of Europe and America, where man is under the dominion of man rather than Allah…
Sayyid Qutb, the very influential Egyptian Muslim thinker, said that “dominion should be reverted to Allah alone, namely to Islam, that holistic system He conferred upon men. An all-out offensive, a jihad, should be waged against modernity so that this moral rearmament could take place. The ultimate objective is to re-establish the Kingdom of Allah upon earth…”
