It “will enable Iran to increase support for terrorist and insurgent proxies, aggravate sectarian conflict and trigger both nuclear and conventional proliferation cascades.” But who cares? Kardashians!
“Nuclear deal will make war with Iran more likely, former top military officials say in report,” by Kellan Howell, The Washington Times, September 2, 2015 (thanks to Banafsheh):
A group of former top military officials and intelligence analysts released a new report Wednesday concluding that the nuclear deal with Iran will threaten American interests and increase the probability of military conflict in the Middle East.
In its report, the Iran Strategy Council wrote that the nuclear deal, called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), “will enable Iran to increase support for terrorist and insurgent proxies, aggravate sectarian conflict and trigger both nuclear and conventional proliferation cascades.”
Additionally, the deal will “provide the expansionist regime in Tehran with access to resources, technology and international arms markets required to bolster offensive military capabilities in the vital Persian Gulf region, acquire long-range ballistic missiles and develop other major weapons systems,” the council wrote.
In its report, the council argued that the deal is not an alternative to war with Iran, as many of its supports have claimed, but would actually make war more likely.
“Contrary to the false choice between support for the JCPOA and military confrontation, the agreement increases both the probability and danger of hostilities with Iran,” the report noted. “Given the deleterious strategic consequences to the United States, implementation of the JCPOA will demand increased political and military engagement in the Middle East that carries significantly greater risks and costs relative to current planning assumptions.”
The Iran Strategy Council was commissioned by the Jewish Institute of National Security to educate Americans on the consequences of the Iran nuclear deal.
Members of the council include retired Gen. James Conway, former Commandant of the Marine Corps; retired Air Force Gen. Chuck Wald, former Deputy Commander of the United States European Command; retired Adm. Mark Fitzgerald, former Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces in Europe/Africa; and retired Vice Adm. John Bird, former Commander of the U.S. Seventh Fleet….

Almost as soon as he was inaugurated, the POS had his sights set on Iran. He was even awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for his “efforts” in “reaching out” to them. All the time he and his Muslim Brotherhood advisers were planning this ‘deal’. How is it that the most powerful country in the world has been brought to its knees by this muslim traitor? This is the biggest sellout since Neville Chamberlain returned from Munich waving a piece of paper declaring ‘ Peace in our time’.
BC says
I wish people like you would just shut up about Chamberlain. You clearly know little about history. That was a different time and different situations. The USA has the most powerful military in the world bar none, better weapons, better training and battle hardened as well. It has more carriers than all other nations combined! There was no need to make bargains with a nation lead by despotic religious maniacs who torture and murder their own people every day. Obama has the power but he does not want to use it as he wants to leave office without being involved in a war, especially a Mid Eastern war.
He cares more about his ‘legacy’ than the future of the country. The US will have to go to war against
Iran without a doubt.
Plutarchus7 says
History is repeating itself in that we have a weak, clueless, naive, ignoramus of a leader like Chamberlain believing that Iran (like the Nazis) has legitimate grievances that can be appeased by making it more powerful: more territory in the case of Hitler, $150 billion and lifting of sanctions in the case of Khamenei.
That 2015 greatly resembles 1938 was mysteriously and ominously indicated by the place where the nuke deal was finalized: the Imperial Hotel where Hitler and the Nazis celebrated the conquest of Austria just six months before the Munich debacle.
Peter Charles says
Very true. For the first time since 1945 we have put a “religious” state on an unfettered path to nuclear weapons, a means to deliver these across oceans , and the Obama Administration is smiling and shaking each others hands. Seems like insanity to me.
Peter Hyatt says
There is no answer to this outside of the fear he instilled in his enemies. His muslim beliefs allow for him to deceive us, the ‘infidel’ who does not deserve the truth.
This is not going to end well, but will end in bloodshed. The Islamic invasion of Europe will also lead to bloodshed. Who will come out on top?
The best case scenario is that after Obama leaves office, Israel destroys the nuclear facility. The money that Obama has released to Iran will cause the deaths of many, but it will only be a very strongly armed Israel who must go at it alone.
God help them.
Islam is the new Hitler, and Obama is the Mussolini, while Europe appears to be the Chamberlain.
As England went at it alone, so it may be that Israel goes at it alone.
Europe has already 50 million imported avowed enemies and is too psychologically weak to protect itself. Hungary stands alone and will be overrun by Russia.
Who ever dreamed Obama’s “change” was going to be anything more than raising taxes, and naming a few street signs after blacks?
I didn’t see him as this powerful threat six years ago.
With the muslim importing in America, black cities unemployment crisis only deepened and he then flamed the racism of blacks against whites, and instigated the anarchists war on police.

‘U.S. District Court Rules Iran Behind 9/11 Attacks’
PR Newswire
NEW YORK, December 23, 2011
NEW YORK, December 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ —
A federal district court in Manhattan yesterday entered a historic ruling that
reveals new facts about Iran’s support of al Qaeda in the 9/11 attacks. U.S.
District Judge George B. Daniels ruled yesterday that Iran and Hezbollah
materially and directly supported al Qaeda in the September 11, 2001 attacks
and are legally responsible for damages to hundreds of family members of 9/11
victims who are plaintiffs in the case.

Of course they will.
Co traitors Obama and Kerry just hope it will be before Obama’s term expires so Obama can declare himself god and president for life as he negotiates terms of surrenders that force Americans to convert to Islam.
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see this.
Go find a journalist anywhere and pull them out of their homes or offices by the hair and beat the living cr>p out of them.
it was their job to inform but they betrayed and sold out like cotraitors Obama and Kerry.
And anyone who gets close enough to the co traitors please spit on them.

Somehow I missed this. More proof that the Shia v Sunni divide closes when going up against a common foe. Of course the aren’t legally responsible, no Moslem is responsible for anything, except the Cause. Moslems are intrinsically irresponsible people.

I know the Manchurian Candidate Obama is actively trying to destroy western civilization but I never figured out how he’d do it. War in the Middle East would cause gas prices to necessarily skyrocket. Our economy is based on petroleum. Obama can cause a war, make Iran a nuclear power, destroy Israel, and crash all western economies in one fell swoop. This could be his master stroke.
Kaffir007 says
We all know Obama’s administration helped create ISIL in hopes it would weaken or destroy Bashar Hafez al-Assad — oops, that plan back fired. Perhaps this Iran deal is another move by Obama’s “JV” administration, hoping the Iranian Shiitis will defeat the ISIL Sunnis – and then, and then, and then Obama can take credit for saving the world – sounds like a ludicrous fantasy of someone who has smoked a few too many joints.
Someone has to be the worst president ever… Give you one guess…

THE ULTIMATE, IRREFUTABLE ARGUMENT AGAINST IRAN NUKE DEAL
If Islamic supremacist theofascist Iran were serious about reforming itself and becoming a truly moderate peace-loving non-nuclear nation (like it was under the Shah) it would do the following three things:
1. Destroy all its centrifuges so it can’t enrich uranium.
2. Destroy its plutonium reactor so it can’t at least develop the crudest of nuclear bombs.
3. Terminate its relationship with “Axis of Evil,” science and technology partner, nuclear North Korea. This must be done to calm fears of Iran covertly outsourcing its nuclear weapons program to the Norks which it can do with relative impunity.

I really thought that the politicians consulted the military on all the important strategic decisions they have to make. Has something changed over there in the “land of the free”?

Pakistan has nukes and has not bombed Israel. Iran has a right to protect themselves from aggression from other countries. Look how the Sunnis at the request of the US invaded Iran in the Iraq-Iran conflict.
Perhaps they are looking for a certain amount of respect from other countries. Sure, they may join the nuclear club but if they screw up it means total annihilation for Tehran. Also once knowledge is gained by a civilization it is inevitably shared with the world. You cannot put the cork back in the Genie’s bottle once the Genie gets out. The secrets of nuclear war are available, now we have to display our intelligence in dealing with this great threat.
navnlos says
Pakistan’s leadership are not chanting ‘Death to Israel’ at their meetings (as far as I know). Besides, Pakistan is more concerned about India, which is also nuclear armed, so they won’t use them. Iran’s leaders are truly insane, and have deceived America at every turn. MAD does not apply when you’re dealing with a death cult.
GWhizz says
An atomic war with Iran would be SAD (Self Assured Destruction) for Iran. They would be starting a gunfight with a muzzle loading musket.
Plutarchus7 says
When the Shah ruled Iran it was a force for peace and stability in the Middle East, and didn’t need nukes for protection from Israel or anyone else. No sooner did Khomenei seize power than he called on Shiites in Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain and elsewhere to rise up in violent revolt against the Sunni regimes that dominated region. This triggered the horrific eight year Iran-Iraq War (caused by Khomenei not by Saddam) which cost a staggering one million lives and billions in treasure. Clearly the people of Iran and the Middle East were far, far better off when the moderate, peace-loving, progressive, secularizing Shah was in power, right?
GWhizz says
Islam is the problem. The pursuit of doing God’s will and obedience to God should be independent of all forms of physical punishment. Religion should be sole concerned with morality and the nature of God and inducing people to practice morality and holiness. Secular Government should be based on the political needs of the people. Health, education, housing, trade, agriculture, sanitation, safety, common defense, monetary policy are the domain of government. Not all of Gods laws should be enforced by the state, only those that intersect with the political needs of the people.
If Iran wants to pursue a nuclear war with the US, Israel, Russia, or Saudi Arabia, they can. When they do they will be utterly crushed. If they continue to spout warlike rhetoric, people will perceive the need for a pre-emptive strike. This is what happened at the start of the 1967 Israel war. It could happen again. You don’t need an huge effort to get a bomb over Tehran. All you need is a Boeing 737 with an aftermarket missile launch rack.
Plutarchus7 says
Political Islam is the problem: lawlessness and immorality masked as divine revelation in pursuit of absolute political power. Islam privatized and internalized-fighting immorality and ignorance (instead of infidels) in the spiritual pursuit Absolute God-is the only solution to the scourge of political Islam. The Westernized Shah was trying to separate Mosque and State and privatize the faith, but failed. Triumphant Khomenism is the last hurrah for political Islam in Iran before it’s defeated and the Shah’s good work continues. Hopefully Khomenism won’t end in a nuclear holocaust. But that’s how we broke the spirit of militant Japanese racial supremacism.
Plutarchus7 says
CORRECTION: the spiritual pursuit of Absolute God.

Obama and his guy Kerry have exposes that they are both are naive and gullible and are no match at all in “negotiations” with the officials of this Islamic tyranny. . The sly ,insidious and deceptive Islam fiends if this tyrannical Islamic regime have really fooled ,as in pulled one over on Obama, Kerry and others. This so called “deal” with Iran ins not only a travesty but also a sick and tragic joke. Anything person after really looking at this “deal” will see that it’s a farce,a hoax and a disaster.
