Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Story told by father of drowned toddler Aylan Kurdi is full of holes

Sep 6, 2015 11:28 am By Robert Spencer

“Abdullah Kurdi’s story is made-up. But his lies are now being used and rewarded by the media in full blown propaganda, while pressuring policies to force Europe to take in more economic migrants who have never experienced a war zone. The dead toddler pornography is a dream-come true PR campaign serving ISIS and their overwhelming Muslim supporters.” This trumped-up story is being used to overwhelm Europe with refugees, even as the Islamic State has threatened to use the refugee crisis to send jihadis to Europe in large numbers.

Aylan Kurdi and Abdullah

“Family of drowned toddler Aylan Kurdi had been given FREE housing in Turkey, while father’s story is full of holes,” The Muslim Issue, September 4, 2015 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

Abdullah Kurdi’s story is made-up. But his lies are now being used and rewarded by the media in full blown propaganda, while pressuring policies to force Europe to take in more economic migrants who have never experienced a war zone. The dead toddler pornography is a dream-come true PR campaign serving ISIS and their overwhelming Muslim supporters.

Abdullah was never on that boat to watch his wife and children drown. That’s why he was the only survivor. The first time he learned of their death was from the hospital after the photos of his young son was circulating in the media. Listen to all the contradictions and holes in his story.

This was an attempt to send his wife and children into Europe before his own arrival to apply for refugee status as a lone woman with children, while they never even lived in a war zone.

Unfold the #migrationfraud :

After leaving from what they say was a war zone (Syria is huge and the entire country is not a war zone) the Kurdi family was given FREE housing in Turkey and had been there for THREE years. Abdullah Kurdi was not in any war zone. He was safe, he had food, he had over $4,400 in cash, which is over 13,000 Turkish Lira – so why did he leave?

Frankly the whole story simply doesn’t add up.

This is what he told the press initially, as reported in the Guardian yesterday:

“I took over and started steering. The waves were so high and the boat flipped. I took my wife and my kids in my arms and I realised they were all dead,” he told AP.

Let’s look at all the details of his story.

The report according to Abdullah’s own words is that he lived in Turkey for three years and prior to that he had lived in Damascus. His sister makes the story even more confusing saying that Abdullah was a barber originally from Damascus, who fled from Kobani to Turkey but “dreamed of a future in Canada” for his family. Was he living in Damascus or Kobani? Kobani is over 500 kms from Damascus.

After “fleeing” from “war zone” Kobani he now wants to return to Kobani to attend — a funeral. Huh…? So he’s safe to fly back by plane to Kobani and attend a funeral. And guess what? ISIS was not even in Kobani when Kurdi claims his family “fled” from ISIS.

ISIS was not in Damascus either three years ago when Kurdi claims he lived there. ISIS entered only a small rural part of northern Damascus last year and targeted a remote refugee camp with “Palestinians” earlier in 2015 and were pushed out. ISIS is present in a quarter of the country in Northern Syria, not in the South.

While Western media reports that he was trying to reach Canada, Swedish media are being given reports by Kurdi that he was trying to reach Sweden and that he had been receiving FREE housing in Turkey for three years. Abdullah claims he was trying to reach Canada but was denied asylum – while Canadian authorities say they have never received any application from him at all. Which story does Abdullah want to stick to?

What we’re reading here is a story about relatives serving as people smugglers to other relatives living in Turkey. This is what happened with Kurdi. His own family in Canada are his people smugglers trying to come up with ways for him to illegally fraud the immigration system, and make up stories about threats that he never experienced.

The father, Abdullah Kurdi, is giving different stories depending on who he is talking to. His sister Fatima gave an account of a phone conversation with her brother Abdullah that is reported in the DailyMail. That story is different to the one Abdullah Kurdi gave to the press.

Listen to the bits here from DailyMail:

Reliving the moments after the dinghy capsized and the Mediterranean waves crashed around them, Abdullah Kurdi described how he’d pleaded with his sons to keep breathing, telling them he didn’t want them to die.

It was only when he looked down at their faces and saw blood in Aylan’s eyes that he realised the boys had died in his arms and he was forced to let them go.

Looking around in the water, he spotted the body of his wife Rehan ‘floating like a balloon’. She had also drowned.

…and the version his sister Fatima gives, the DailyMail, is here:

Yesterday his sister Tima – who is also known as Fatima – revealed how the grief-stricken father had relived the final moments of his boys’ lives in a phone conversation she’d had with him.

‘When a bigger wave came and flipped the boat upside down, Abdullah right away caught both his kids and tried so hard with all the power he had to keep them up from the water, screaming, ‘Breathe, breathe, I don’t want you to die!’,’ she said.

‘In his left arm was Galip and he saw he was dead and he told me, ‘I had to let him go’,’ she added.

Then he looked at Aylan and could see blood from his eyes, so he closed them and said, ‘rest in peace my son,’ she went on to say.

She said that while he was still in the water, Abdullah saw his wife’s dead body floating in the water ‘like a balloon’, causing him to struggle to recognise her.

Sobbing uncontrollably Abdullah yesterday recalled his terror when the flimsy and overcrowded dinghy overturned, causing the night to be pierced by the screams of his fellow Syrian refugees as he clung on to his wife.

‘I was holding her, but my children slipped through my hands,’ he said.

‘We tried to cling to the boat, but it was deflating. It was dark and everyone was screaming. I could not hear the voices of my children and my wife.’

The wife was ‘a balloon’ in less than three hours ? The rate of decay to a dead body in water is not instant. Obviously Abdullah had no idea how dead people in water decay and he knew at some point they would bloat, so he described his wife in a condition of decay that takes days to mature. Here from The Forensic Library is a description:

Bloated (2-6 days)
This stage of decomposition includes the first visible signs of decay, namely the inflation of the abdomen due to a build-up of various gases produced by bacteria inside the cadaver. This bloating is particularly visible around the tongue and eyes as the build-up of gases cause them to protrude. The skin may exhibit a certain colour change, taking on a marbled appearance due to the transformation of haemoglobin in the blood into other pigments.

Although Abdullah claims to have seen the dead bodies of his two children and his wife after their boat was hit by two large waves, his story then changes and he claims that he made it safely to the beach. He now assumed that the wife, who had laid bloated and drowned, and the two small boys who he had seen drowned right in front of him and he knew were dead, had managed somehow to make it alive to the beach. He could not find them on the beach so he assumed they had “become scared and ran away”. He now sees these dead people nowhere. But he only finds the “truth” about their death after going to the hospital where their bodies were kept.
Can someone explain to us how dead bodies run away? In other words, he only knew they were dead after the pictures of his son started showing up in the media reports. Here’s his own account reported in the DailyMail:

Over the following three hellish hours in the water, [in the short time his wife turned onto a ‘balloon’ – a sign of decomposing that only occurs 2-6 days later] Mr Kurdi battled for survival, while frantically searching for his sons and his wife, who had also been pulled from his reach. He found one child but it was too late – the boy had drowned.

‘My first son died from the high waves,’ he said. ‘I was obliged to leave him to save the other one. I tried to swim to the beach by following the lights.

‘I looked for my wife and child on the beach but couldn’t find them. I thought they had got scared and had run away and I went back to Bodrum.

‘When they did not come to our meeting point I went to the hospital and learned the bitter truth.’ (How can he learn the bitter truth when he claimed earlier that he saw them die and tried to save one of the sons, who had already drowned? He then attempted to save the second one who was dead with bloodied eyes, while finding his wife floating and bloated in the water. How can dead people like this run away?)

The barber had paid people smugglers £2,900 over the course of three attempts to reach Greece from a refugee camp in Turkey.

But he has told friends he wished he had also drowned to be spared a lifetime of self-recrimination over the family’s desperate gamble for a better life.

Pictures of Aylan and Galip have been shared by social networkers around the world, prompting calls for politicians to do more for fleeing Syrians.

So you can hear that we have completely different stories coming from Abdullah that don’t even match.

He doesn’t even know what exactly happened. This man was never on that boat and never watched his wife and children drown. That is why he was the only survivor without any injuries and without any need for medical help, although he claims to have undergone a violent and desperate situation for over three hours where everyone else drowned. He is lying and making the story up. We’ve worked long enough with these humanitarian issues to recognize a tall tale. Basically, the fragmented and fabricated story indicates to us that the wife and children were sent to arrive before him as a lone mother and children (easier to get accepted). Of course, this advice would come from his own family already living in Canada and parts of Europe who know more about the dhimmitude of Europe, now serving as long-distance human smugglers. The wife has clearly been told to go first, get her refugee case handled, and then help to get him entry at a later date where he can join them with a forged passport after the wife is already settled.

It’s all fraud. All of this explains his dry crocodile tears. No wonder his sister Fatima was crying more than he brother who lost his entire family. She had guilt that their suggestions and strategies caused the death of a woman who could not swim and was afraid, and the death of three small children. They’re intentionally frauding the system. And now they also push propaganda to open the floodgates to the rest of these fraudsters.

It is however, noteworthy to hear this comment coming from Abdullah Kurdi that he does not mind sacrificing his wife and children for his agenda, according to his sister Fatima in Canada:

‘Of course it makes me sad that it’s taken this [tragedy] to make people realise what is going on,’ she said, adding: ‘Abdullah said, its ok if it has to be my kids and my wife who wake up the world, its ok. If it’s been written to happen that way, it was supposed to happen.’

And the Turkish people smuggler Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan responded to the deaths in his country’s waters by saying: “European countries, which have turned the Mediterranean, the cradle of the world’s oldest civilizations, into a cemetery for refugees, shares the sin for every refugee who loses their life.”

The BBC’s coverage of this whole affair has been way beyond its usual bias….it has been obscene in the true sense of the word. Emotional blackmail based on lies to further its vile PC political leftist agenda and continue the Islamisation of Europe.

These Muppets probably won’t be around to see their granddaughters married off at 11 under the inevitable Sharia they are helping to create.

I feel physically sick watching the coverage.

Well expressed. The Western leaders in their smug superiority are oblivious to the extreme hatred born in the hearts of these refugees towards the dirty kafirs. Muslims do not see the application of the Golden Rule, but rather, because of the FATALISM, they see that Allah has forced the dirty kafirs to surrender their countries and totally submit to Muslims.

They see everything that has occurred as the fault of the dirty kafirs…the war was caused by kafirs, Al Qaeda was created by Americans, and ISIS was created Jews.

These refugees will not be grateful. Soon they will begin to demand to take over Europe and explode with overwhelming rage when they are turned down.

I had a friend who worked on contract in Afghanistan, and he told me that one of the local Afghans put his small child deliberately in harm’s way so that he could shake down the Americans for money when the child was killed. It was my friend’s task to collect the child’s small body 🙁

Any society that bases itself on the religion of Islam does not treasure the lives and rights of children and women the way we do in the West. This is why you see child marriage, honor killings, using children as suicide bombers, using children to clear minefields, etc.

This is tragic, and I’m not saying that this father feels no pain on the loss of his wife and children (he’s obviously upset to concoct some nice lies), but this is the result of a vastly different value system that stands in stark contrast to ours.

I believe your friend’s story is 100% right. Muslims don’t treasure or value life at all in any respect we do in the West. There is a complete cold attitude to the death and suffering of others. It’s perhaps no surprise so many Muslims are suicide bombers.

I recall a story from the US military while they had been placed in Afghanistan. The Taliban had invited a family for dinner. To test the family’s alliance to the Taliban they had taken their youngest son, killed him and COOKED him… They then served the child to the family to test their reaction.

There is no humanity in Muslims. That’s what makes them so dangerous.

Dear God! Tim, that is inconceivable to non-Muslims! Yet, when Hamas was firing missiles into Israel, Palestinians would literally hang their children on fences outside their residences in hopes that Israel would refrain from targeting the grownups and the structures. And Israel would, because Israel, unlike Muslims, do love life.

There is horrific human tragedy which we cannot ignore but the answer isn’t opening the floodgates. That will merely encourage more to make the journey. The answer is for the US, Israel and the UK to decide a policy against Isis and act on it swiftly and decisively. I suspect Isis could be halted as a military force within 2 weeks and the subsequent lack of will and disillusionment would see it break down. Short sharp and effective action; all we are doing now is strengthening the enemy.

Actually, they are doing it for several reasons….. 1) the child is not western, Christian or Jewish. 2) the child is muslim. 3) It can be twisted (and must be viciously twisted) to make the west look evil.

The lack of stories on Jewish children murdered and mutilated by devout muslims, the lack of stories on Coptic Christians being murdered, kidnapped, raped etc.

The eerie and criminal silence on the abuse and murders of non-muslim children, is an extreme contrast to this dishonest (but still tragic) story.

The drowning of Abdullah’s family is truly horrible. Thank you Robert for clarifying this tragedy. It did not surprise me that the father lied about the circumstances and his knowledge about the true circumstances of the drowning of his family. Watching the reports, it clearly accomplished its unintended goal of gaining sympathy for a large influx of people with open arms and shows it does not have an once of knowledge about Hijrah. This family had better circumstances than the Christians or the Jewish population while living in Syria so I hope the information does come out what areas’ are experiencing war and that not areas are affected. Thank you again Robert for explaining the concept…I think that is so important and I did not realize not all of Syria was affected. But noting the very good condition of clothing and personal appearance of refugee have given me signs the media hasn’t mentioned. this is deception and is obivious supported by money. No money to Iran for this mess.
This whole episode of this migration, visits from Saudi delegation, the denial of Obama to the truth about isis, and the use of jihad, the agreements made with the Mullahs of Iran, the rise of the faithless faithful in the U.S., the fires, the plane aberrations, work place violence, the cash flow, the very quick change of neighborhoods, the pen, the wreckless boldness of the o the in your face simmering signs of collusion in my area has me feeling the nightmare is just beginning.

Over here in Bahrain, for the past few days the political cartoonist for the local Arabic language newspaper (to call it a rag would be charitable) has been doing his part to shame the non-Muslim world with this incident. Friday and Saturday, it was back to back tasteless depictions of a drowned child; first in the arms of a waterlogged veiled woman in waist-deep water asking “for what sin did you have to drown?”, and yesterday’s crying shark (helpfully labeled “the world”) cradling the body (also helpfully labeled “Syria”) with the caption “The Tears of The Crocodiles”–senile old fool clearly doesn’t know his critters…

These weren’t drafted for western consumption, so clearly the message he’s trying to propagate on the local Arab Street is that the infidels need to step it up.

Also obvious that the numerous photos have been staged. The first one I saw, someone was holding the dead child. The next several were of his lifeless body lying on the beach in different postures and from different directions.

It is also obvious that it is all exploitation…on the *father’s* part, his family in Canada, muslims wanting to take over other countries, some governmental authorities and the media.

For the first while of this invasion we saw mostly men that looked well fed, clean, and strong and only a few women and children. At the end of the journey beautiful women and children appeared and when one was “drowned” by the heartless west the world suddenly perked up to the story and everyone suddenly wanted a pet refugee or two in their house. Good luck with that. The women of the house will be spending their time entertaining the pet and his friends. Anyone with a brain to think with could see this was a setup and what direction it would take. We have been sucker punched by the muslims to the sorrowful future of our civilization.

A very sinister look, and all the more so when after the rally was completely over and they walked off into the city streets, they kept their faces covered. Watching them, I couldn’t help but feel they were identifying with ISIS, dressing up to mimic them, and perhaps rather envious of the power the ISIS killers have. The gap between ISIS and our non-Muslim leftist youth is narrowing.

You asked “Where are the pictures of the Ugandan girls kidnapped by Boko Haram into sex slavery?”

      Yes.

Actually, I don’t have their pictures, but I do have their *names*, or most of them. Barnabas Fund published a pdf file with a list of most of their *names* (Barnabas having ‘contacts’ with the Church in Nigeria, and being able to find out from the local clergy and other people). As a PDF file. I copied it; also printed it off, and now I have it tucked inside my Prayer book, and I take it out and read a page a day. Seven pages of names.

Not sure whether their link will still work, but here it is, just in case.

      http://www.barnabasfund.org/AU/News/Latest-emergencies/Call-to-prayer-for-Christian-schoolgirls-kidnapped-by-Boko-Haram-in-Nigeria.html#girls_names

      Here are some of them.

“Abigail Bukar – Christian; Aisha Ezekiel – Christian; Aisha Lawan, Aishatu Grema, Aishatu Musa – Muslims; Amina Ali – Christian [note – this name indicates she would be the child of converts from Islam to Christianity], Anthonia Yahonna – Christian, Asabe Ali – Christian, Asabe Manu, Christian, Awa Abge – Christian, Awa Bitrus – Christian; Awa James – Christian; Awagana Musa – Christian; Blessing Abana – Christian; Christiana Bitrus – Christian…”.

And on, and on, and on.

Eight girls called Deborah. A Dorcas. Five Esthers. A ‘Fatima’ who is identified as a Christian – again, I would guess, child of a formerly-Muslim family that has become Christian. In northern Nigeria, there have been quite a lot of conversions from islam to Christianity.

Two girls named ‘Gloria’ and one named ‘Glory’. Lots of “Hauwa” (which would be an African version of “Eve”). A “Helen”. A Julia. Three Lydias. Eight Marys. Seven named Naomi. Two girls named “Rejoice”…

That list should be on the Pope’s personal prayer desk. And the desk of the Archbishop of Canterbury. And that of every Christian religious leader, worldwide.

And laid on the communion table or on the altar of every Christian church, world-wide.

Let the girls of Chibok represent *all* those non-Muslim girls and children who have been ‘disappeared’ by Muslim predators; seized and raped and abused and subjected to brainwashing, often tortured, sold as slaves, frequently murdered, all in perfect conformity with the example of Mohammed and the teachings of Islam re the way in which ‘unbelievers’ ought to be treated.

Present Approach of European Rulers will lead to Irreversible Destruction of Europe.
Then the News Reporters, Humanitarian Activists etc who persuade Europe to accept these Jihadis will be of No Help and won’t be Traceable even.

Just one comment, based on experience conversing with Muslims (Turks, Arabs, Africans, doesn’t matter).

They have great difficulty telling a coherent tale that is not riddled with contradictions and impossible elements. Doesn’t necessarily mean they are lying, at least not deliberately. It’s as though they suffer from Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) and one or another of their “alters” is constantly butting in.

This even when talking about something ordinary and innocuous that should not be difficult to report.

I think Oriana Fallaci talked about that. When she described what it was like to interview Yasser Arafat.

He couldn’t keep his story straight from one moment to the next. It was like his brain was in chaos. (Lots of malevolence and cunning, but no *order*, no reason, no real connection to reality).

Oddly enough, it’s consistent with the character – or lack thereof – of the god they worship. Because allah is absolutely arbitrary, and a consummate deceiver.

Islam isn’t just about lying, in the sense of saying A when you *know* that B is in fact the case.

Islam is all about pure BS. About fundamentally not caring whether A *or* B is the case…because all that matters is making the current listener believe what you’re saying *now*, just long enough for you to make them give you what you want. And people who are steeped in BS from birth are removed from reality; they rot their brains. think about it – when everyone is busy spinning BS as fast as they can (especially when everybody is *also* steeped in aggression and suspicion) *nobody* can trust anything that anybody says. Ever.

*This* is what Hell looks like.

      Sam,
When a person lies, it is impossible, or very nearly so, to recall what was said.

That is why police interrogators ask the same questions over and over, “From the top,” when they have a reason to think the person is being less than truthful. When they encounter a lie, even a small one in a *fact* that changes from the first telling to the next, and the next, they know there is some reason the person is lying. Because the truth is the truth and it doesn’t change no matter how many times the person tells it.
A person with DID, or MPD as it was once known, is not going to tell different accounts of the same happening, if in fact, each part of their personality is aware of it. Either the stories will mesh, or the different parts will not have memory of it. The person with DID is more likely not to recall an event unless the dominant *personality* was active when the event happened, or a dominant *personality* “witnessed” the event while it was happening to *another* personality. (I have a couple of friends who suffer this malady of personality. Because of this fact, I have done a lot of reading about it)

So, it isn’t really comparable to say this guy who was telling whatever he thought up at the moment, was anything like a person suffering DID.
Psychopaths also lie like a cheap rug and can’t recall what they said from one moment to the next. He more likely fits the profile of a psychopath as it was all about what he did and said and he was not all that broken up if his family could be used as tools to further the islam agenda of taking over the world.

      • somehistory says

        Sep 7, 2015 at 8:48 pm

One further thought on DID. It is often diagnosed because the person is seen and heard doing and saying things, witnessed by friends and family, but the person with DID doesn’t have any memory of it. They may go shopping and then have no recall of having been to the store or bought something.
When this is reported over and over, it helps the doctors diagnose and begin to help the patient.

Interesting, Sam–I have heard this many times re Muslims and an inability to avoid falsehoods.

I think it stems from several factors–that lying is accepted in Islam, *especially* lying to Infidels; that Islam is suspicious and paranoid, and so Muslims will lie if they think it will give them any sort of edge at all; that Islam rejects reason, and so even Muslims not otherwise disposed to lie in a specific circumstance have difficulty thinking clearly and in an organized manner about anything at all, let alone being able to convey their train of thought to to others; and that Islam is so irrational and superstitious that the idea that any incident follows a coherent and *consistent* series of actions can be difficult for them to grasp.

I taught the whites are smart but I’m wrong. I followed the refugee crisis on Al-jazeera and CNN yesterday and discovered that both news network are serving the same purpose, that is encouraging the flooding of europe with arabs and Muslims. The most shocking of all this is that the local people were cheering this unique refugess (90% of the refugees are healthy and well-feed young men) as if the ‘refugees’ are international marathon athletes. I pity their unborn generation for this costly mistakes they are making.

I am not a racist because I am black and some black people are also in this migration business but the truth must be told, europe is committing suicide with this unrestricted open-door to their eternal enemies, the Arab. The future of Europe in the next 50 to 70 years is fraught with civil unrest and probably wars because the future generations of Europe will watch the current propanga video being shown by the BBC and the CNN and curse the grave of their parents for refusing to act while their country is being unconsciously destroyed.

The south south and south eastern people of Nigeria are victims of the Fulani/Arab/Islamic evil hence do not give an inch to this evil people and their religion in their society. It is mystery that Europe now see Islam/Arabs as friends and allies despite the fact that the Muslims/Arabs can do anything that will speed-up their demise.

I told them , “I know you want to go Cos İsland Greece you have to be crazy because Greek coast guard if they detect they tear the boat and let them to drown if Turkish coast guard does not see them to rescue”. They just laughed to me. Then ı said, ” At least buy life jackets”. They looked at the brand new jackets and find them expensive. I was reluctant to question the story of a grieving father but something about this story did not add up. It made no sense to me that a father would watch his children die and only he survives. I know if I was three years old and my father watched me die he would not have wanted to live and would rather have died with me. I think that is the case with most parents. Since these are Muslims I was not at all surprised that a Muslim father might save himself while his children died. I also wonder why one child’s death as tragic as it might be but somehow a reason to take thousands of Muslim economic migrants in. Sadly children die everyday including at the hands of Islamic terrorists who have brutally killed children and their parents in the West.
