At Ground Zero yesterday, Pope Francis bemoaned “the powerlessness we feel when we see injustice, the inability to solve our differences, to dialogue.” But when it comes to Islamic supremacists and jihadists, they have no interest in genuine dialogue. They have no interest in reaching some negotiated compromise. As far as they’re concerned, Allah has commanded them to convert, subjugate or kill the “People of the Book” (primarily Jews and Christians), and there is no negotiating or “dialogue” about the command of Allah. This intransigence is something the Pope appears not to have considered.

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – Three church buildings were set ablaze on Tuesday (Sept. 22) in an area of northwestern Tanzania where Muslim extremists have issued threats, pastors said.
A pastor of one of the three churches whose buildings were gutted, Vedasto Athanas of Living Water International church, said area Christians are worried and frightened as such attacks have increased each of the past few years.
“What is worrying us is that the burning of the three churches happened within a span of two hours,” he told Morning Star News. “What is even more worrying is that we have been receiving threats from Muslim extremists that they want churches reduced in this area.”
Also burned were the buildings of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God and the Evangelical Assemblies of God; all three churches are located in the Kashfa village area of Bukoba District, church leaders said.
Living Waters’ congregation numbers about 350, the Pentecostal Assemblies of God has 300 members and the Evangelical Assemblies of God Tanzania has 200.
“We have lost everything in our churches – the buildings, the chairs and musical instruments,” Athanas said. “Our members have nowhere to worship.”
One point of contention, according to church leaders, has to do with animal slaughter. Muslim extremists in the area have objected to Christians slaughtering animals, an act they consider forbidden for non-Muslims….
Another church leader, who requested anonymity, said authorities have refused to grant local churches permission to construct worship centers on the pretext that lands are designated only as residential areas….
In eastern Tanzania in Tanga Region, a church building in Mashewa, Muheza District was set fire on Jan. 20. In the same district in Zirai, a predominantly Muslim area, a young woman who had left Islam and married a Christian was beaten and badly burned by her parents on Nov. 2, 2014.
In October 2012, Islamists burned several church buildings in various parts of Tanzania after two children’s argument about the Koran resulted in a Christian boy allegedly defiling Islam’s sacred book.

Yes folks, it has reached this level of absurdity. Barnum, a sucker born every minute) that Islam is deep bad news for the human race. By now, one knows this or should know it.

Again, spot on Wellington – We shouldn’t overlook the one issue that this pope along with the lunatic left, which includes our president and the entire democratic party and Islam have in common – that being a shared hatred of free market societies. They despise capitalism with extreme passion. Leftist thinkers (and many are, at least on paper very smart) seem to think that once America has been reduced to the long dreamed of socialist workers paradise then they can somehow deal with their Islamist partners. They’ll quickly learn what Lenin meant when he referred to his liberal supporters in the west as “useful idiots”. Our religious leaders need to get their heads out of the sand and be in touch with ground realities. The muslim problem is as large as the uviverse and has to be dealt with as it deserves. The Pope is a spiritual leader, not a prophet. He knows what he knows, but knows no more. He is not lecturing us on the Constitution. He knows nothing about it and he knows we know more about it then him. He is a simple man, and yet has his every word and thought examined. Maybe he should think more, and say less.
The Pope fails to see the reality of Islam. He sees a time when all Islamics are happy with their lot, and will not harm Christians. The thing is, he is delusional.in thinking he knows something that isn’t so easy. He takes people at their word, not realizing it’s okay for them to lie to the world, and even to him.
While the Church itself may be based on some simple truths, he does not recognize there are some contradictions. There will always be people who don’t care about what should be done. They will do it their own way. But, he does not really recognize this. He does not see the false reflection. He accepts the lies. But, he should not help perpetrate them. When he hears a lie, he should recognize and denounce it. I don’t really think he is smart enough not to be used.
