++++++ OFF TOPIC — ABOUT THE WASHINGTON POST’S “FACT CHECKER” +++++++
I want to get this into a current day’s posting so everyone will see it. All of a sudden, lo and behold, Glenn Kessler, official fact checker at that newspaper with the uber-clueless Editorial Board, is our national Go-To guy for truth about Islam.
SO HERE IS A SUGGESTION I IMPLORE ALL OF US ERE TO ENGAGE IN: One of the Post’s columnists, Kathleen Parker, wrote a column four days after the cartoon contest jihad attack in Texas. You can find it easily by searching her name with “cartoon”. MEDICAL ALERT: Take your blood pressure pills before reading it. She thought the event in Garland was a “taunt” and wrote that Pam “sullied and abused” the principle of free speech.
BUT HER COLUMN IS NOT MY POINT, JUST A MOTIVATOR FOR YOU ALL. She [ kathleenparker (@) washpost (dot) com ] is a gateway to Glenn Kessler at the Post. WITH A NON-HOSTILE EMAIL SUBJECT LINE — like “Can you ask the Fact Checker to investigate these claims?” — GIVE HER A LINK TO ROBERT’S POST SEVERAL DAYS AGO ABOUT CAIR’S QUR’AN GIVEAWAY:
http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/09/hamas-linked-cair-announces-quran-giveaway-in-response-to-ben-carsons-remarks
In it he lists numerous verses, and their effect explained. Tell her to pass those along to Kessler, so he can make sure Robert is not making them up out of evil intent. ALSO REFER HER TO HIS CREDENTIALS in the JW home page black bar [ “About Robert Spencer” ]. You should also clue her in on sources which explain abrogation, just in case Kessler goes again to his Muslim “authorities” for more neutral bloviation.
AND FOR ULTIMATE ICING ON OUR COUNTER-JIHAD CAKE, INSIST THAT SHE HAVE KESSLER EXAMINE ALL — REPEAT, ALL — OF ROBERT’S BOOKS [ LISTED IN HIS BIO ] FOR MIS-QUOTATIONS OF THE GUR’AN, HADITH, AND SIRA. Or, you can suggest that the Washington Post hire another fact checker to do that verification as a dedicated full time job.
NOTE; PLEASE RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO MENTION HER DISGUSTING COLUMN ABOUT PAM. JUST STICK TO THE FACT CHECKING STUFF. THANKS HUGELY.

Just my opinion, but I don’t believe the first post on a on a new article is the best place to post such a long off topic comment even with the (off topic) disclaimer. I admire your regular enthusiasm but, your comment is much more likely be ignored altogether here as a distraction than t would be a few articles back.

Thanks, Jay Boo, for some advice that I consider correct. No more cutting in line.
Sometimes anger at fellow Americans who would imperil the United States gets the better of my judgment.

You are most welcome jihad3tracker ; it was not advice just merely a friendly suggestion.

With the diminution of rights for “wives” and sexual slavery for captives, Orthodox Islam turns women into breeding machines.
Hadiths tell of Muhammads low opinion of women and his ignorance of their contribution to the genetics of the next generation. It explains why the Quran describes wives as tilth(soil) in which the seed is planted; the seed containing all the characteristics of the new organism.
Much of Islam’s inability to compete intellectually on the world stage is a result of past haphazard mating practices, barely distinguishable from cave men, where women were traded, sold, or selected from other families and captives..
We see the same war past in the UK House of Lords where, however, they recognized that women do make a genetic contribution and have maintained their position while Islam sinks in competitive societies.
The relegation and enslavement of women to an inferior status should cause any intelligent person to eschew Islam.
“The future belongs to Islam” is an oxymoron; there is no future with Islam. The future will not belong to those who pander the prophet.

The fact that Muslims routinely base such behavior on Muhammad’s disgraceful example really shouts out the sorry character of Muhammad.
Rob Crawford says
The irony is Mohammed would have been a random nutcase if it weren’t for the wealth of his first wife.
mortimer says
Agreeing with Wellington that Islam makes all women breeding machines, but that is not their primary function. Women under Islam are the PRISONERS and DOMESTIC ANIMALS of jihadists. That classification is from the last sermon of Mohammed (therefore, it cannot be changed).
Under Islam, ALL women are primarily SLAVES whose first job is to support jihad, whether by indoctrinating children and raising them for jihad, bearing future supremacists or controlling slaves in the Islamic household. Everything that women do (‘free’ or slave) supports jihad. No woman under Islam is ever truly ‘free’. Each woman is the absolute property of a man for time and eternity.

Correction: agreeing with WESTMAN…

I forgot to voice my appreciation for Anni Cyrus’ sharing of her experience under Iranian Islam.
In the early 70’s I had the privilege to teach Physics to Iranian students sent by the Shah’s government to America to get an education. The fruits of their freedom were already apparent in their attitude about the future. The women were happy and excited to learn; expecting to chart their own futures.
Regardless of how good or bad was the Shah’s government, it did set Iran on an intellectually enlightened path that has been retarded though not extinguished under the Ayatollahs. The West would not be concerned about nuclear development in Iran if there had been no infusion of knowledge to those “Shah’s” students in Western Universities. Iran is still the most capable Sharia-ruled nation.
The Ayatollahs are sitting on a powder keg, supported mainly by the backward elements of Iran who know they would lose influence and wealth in an intellectual-productive competition. The so-called 79 revolution was nothing more than stopping the transition of power from religionists to the newly capable. The Ayatollah, when he speaks about Death To America, is speaking to the not-so-bright indoctrinated religionists of his nation. The bright citizens are eager to get rid of him.
voegelinian says
Ask how many of these “bright citizens” of Iran (i.e., Shia Muslims)
1) oppose Hizbollah
2) don’t believe in a coming Mahdi
3) don’t admire the evil Muhammad
4) don’t admire the evil Koran.
Westman says
Would you speak in the same manner about Anni Cyrus, another victim of Iran? These were kids in the early 70’s under a secular government.
Many of the students I knew are dead, sent to die in the 8-years war. Had you known them you would realize how unlike today’s Muslims they were – no niqabs, no long beards, and well behaved. Take a look at those 1950s Egyptian students for a model. Our Iranian students were tramatized when the revolution occurred, suddenly becoming an enemy and forced to return, abandoning their dreams.
They were not the animals we see on the stage now. They loved America and Americans. Much has happened since then to change that perception in the next generation and create a dangerous enemy for Israel.
Anni Cyrus says
voegelinian,
In Iran Today:
1) oppose Hizbollah – Over 70%
2) don’t believe in a coming Mahdi – Over 95%
3) don’t admire the evil Muhammad – Over 95%
4) don’t admire the evil Koran – 100%
The ones who do are not Persians but Arabs (Mullahs)

Here’s an idea, voeg: since you can obviously project your consciousness back in time to read minds and perform psychiatric evaluations (how else would you know that the students Westman taught in the early 70s – you read that bit, didn’t you? – were deranged shia muslims, that they acted friendly to Wesrman so that he would teach them and that he agreed to teach them because of his “ethical narcissism” instead of, I don’t know – being a teacher and teaching any and all students enrolled in his class), why don’t you go back in time again and warn early 70’s Westman of what’s to come?
Anni Cyrus says
Thank you Westman! Yes Shah wasn’t perfect but sure did so much good for Iranian people.

That’s sad. She tells the story of going to court with a dislocated shoulder, seeking a divorce because her husband beats her on a daily basis. The judge tells her that since she is worth half a man, she needs two more female witnesses to equal one and a half people, or another male witness, to equal one and a half people.
This is sharia law, and this is what muslims want to bring to the United States. This is another reason why islam is not compatible with democracy. Be vigilant with your voting choices this year. Halt muslim immigration today.
Anni Cyrus says
Katnis, absolutely this is what they are trying to bring here

Hello Anni. Irishman here. I’ve watched your videos on the Glazov Gang. Keep the stories coming! We Irish are noted as story tellers and stories along with video have the greatest impact.
Can you provide your ages (approximate if you need to protect your privacy) at the time the events you describe take place. Age association allows the viewer to relate better as one can match ones one state and place in time better to your experiences.
I assume you were only 17 or 18 at the time you made the court appearance? How old were you when you were forced into that marriage and what were the circumstances of the marriage.
Warm Regards, Brian.
Tiredofstupid says
Not only does Islam treat women as chattel to be traded and abused but in many muslim countries the percentage of first cousin marriages reaches 70% or more. This results in lowered I.Q.-no muslim country has an average I.Q. of 90, the lowest rate needed to maintain a tech civilization, but also muslims have a birth defects rate 10 times higher than any other population. In some muslim countries the average I.Q. rate for rural population is 69 and urban is 79 ( yeah I’m talking to you pakistan). However great this is for islamic cannon fodder it is ruinous for the rest of us.
NASA is working on ways to reach the stars and islam still thinks the sun hides in a mud puddle at night. If Islam wins your grandkids will be holding best ratcatcher contests instead of colonizing mars.
katnis says
Those stats are hard for me to believe. No disrespect here. I’m just curious. Would you mind sharing your sources?
Westman says
India is going to Mars. Islam is going to Mekka. The future belongs to ?

Anni, once again, thank you for sharing your heartbreaking, yet courageous story of the status of every woman, young lady, and girl in Iran. How touched I am that you recall, for the benefit of others, the sad memories that have made you the incredible person that you are! Indeed, America is enriched by your presence here, and it is those like you, not the likes of Ahmed the “clock-maker,” who have made and continue to make this the greatest nation on earth. Though I probably shall never meet you, know that a special place is reserved for you in my heart . . . in my thoughts . . . and in my prayers. May God bless you and your work, both of which are blessings for others.
Westman says
Amen.
Anni Cyrus says
Cecilia Ellis, Thank you so much! I hope to see you someday 🙂
Amen!
vlparker says
Thanks, Anni. It takes a lot of courage to go in front of a camera and talk about something that is obviously very painful. In spite of the resistance from the left more and more people are learning about the cancer called Islam.
Anni Cyrus says
vlparker, thank you! it is hard to do this but it is even harder to even think what would happen if Islamic republic of America was my home
Angemon says
I second that feeling, vlparker (and Cecilia, above)
TheBuffster says
Hi, Anni!
I agree with Brian that stories have the greatest impact. They bring the full reality of what it means to an individual to live under sharia law. They make concrete, specific, detailed and personal the abstractions of forced marriage, sharia court injustice and all the rest.
I have been reading lots of testimonies from Muslim apostates because I want to get as wide and varied a view of Muslim personal experience as I can. Apostates often write not only about why they left Islam, but what they believed when they were Muslims and what their family life was like. Not surprisingly, it varies quite a lot on both counts. But reading these testimonies brings the reality of Muslim life and apostate experience into full focus. And it makes clear the strife we’re importing when we bring in large numbers of Islamic True Believers.
So thank you so much for doing this series that shares your horrific experience in Iran under Sharia law. I look forward to the next installment.
Karen says
Thank you, Anni Cyrus, for this video. I know it was very difficult for you to relive these events, but enormously important for people to see this. So many do not believe that Sharia is real, or is actually practiced to some degree or another in Muslim-majority countries. Many have bought into the fiction that Islam is a champion of women’s rights (this is usually based on the single example of inheritance rights, very flimsy indeed.)
Like Westman, I knew Iranians who had come to US colleges in the years just after the Iranian revolution. My impression was that they were from a ‘normal’ society; educated, decent, and refined. Some were devout and some were not. All were polite, fun, interesting, aspiring…..normal. The only female among them who wore a hijab was routinely beaten by her husband. (I never met that bum.) I’ve often wondered what has happened to these good people back in Iran, and especially my hijab-wearing acquaintance.
Finally, let me second Cecilia Ellis by saying that it *is* a blessing to have someone like you in this country.
