When was the last time you recall a Christian murderer killing a non-Christian and then screaming “Jesus is Lord!”? And then it coming to light that the murderer was given his gun at a local church that had other ties to violent Christians? Happens all the time, right?
“Parramatta shooting: Farhad Jabar’s gun allegedly came from Middle Eastern crime gang,” by Mark Morri, The Daily Telegraph, October 7, 2015 (thanks to Kenneth):
THE weapon used by teen terrorist Farhad Jabar was believed to be sourced from a Middle Eastern crime gang and police suspect it was handed to the schoolboy at the Parramatta mosque….
The terror teen had been a regular member of an Islamic schoolyard prayer meeting being audited by the state government.
A spokeswoman for NSW Education Minister Adrian Piccoli last night confirmed the Muslim prayer group, held at lunchtime each Friday under teacher supervision at Arthur Phillip High School where Farhad Jabar was a student, had been reviewed following allegations pupils were preaching extremism at similar sessions at another school.
It can also be revealed a fellow student at Jabar’s school, who cannot be named, was a supporter of Islamic State and had been ordered to participate in a youth offenders conference after yelling abuse outside a Christian school and flying the terror group’s flag from a car window.

So the mosque is now closed?
dumbledoresarmy says
No, so far as I know.
But it damn well ought to be…It should have been treated exactly as one treats a crystal meth lab, when discovered.
Perhaps any jihadwatchers posting or lurking here who *live* in Sydney or surrounds could be asking the police, and the relevant State and Federal Members, why it *hasn’t* been shut down. Or rather, not ‘asking’. DEMANDING. LOUDLY. Especially since this is not the first time it has come up in investigations of jihad plots.
They should make the point that if it *had* been shut down the *first* time it was discovered that some of its regulars were hatching jihad plots, Curtis Cheng might well be alive today.
What’s needed is for all the people who work at the big cop shop, and ALL the non-Muslim shopkeepers in the vicinity…and the people who run the *day-care centre* nearby, too…to start kicking up a stink and saying they are traumatised and feel afraid to go back to work. That they would feel a whole lot safer if the mosque weren’t there. If they were women they could stress how unsafe they feel on Friday afternoons when all the male muslim mobsters let out after Friday midday prayers. The tenants in the building can raise hell about the aggressiveness of those who attend the mosque, and the way said attendees hog all the available parking spaces (conflict over parking due to mohammedan discourtesy was mentioned in one of the newspaper reports). But the personal safety thing and the trauma thing needs to be front and centre. They have to say over and over: “I don’t feel safe with it there”. And soothing fob-offs have to be answered with, “I don’t want to end up like Curtis Cheng”. “Can you guarantee there won’t be another attack issuing from that mosque, if it’s not shut down? No? Then why are you putting MY life at risk?”

POLITICAL DOMINANCE OVER KAFIRS IS NORMATIVE ISLAM, RATHER THAN AN ABERRATION
“He it is who has sent His Messenger (Mohammed) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam) to make it victorious over all religions even though the infidels may resist.” Koran 61:9
Since Islam derives meaning primarily from physical supremacy, war becomes an act of faith. To believe in Islam, is to have faith that it must and will conquer and subjugate the entire world. And to be a true Muslim, one must feel called to aid in that global conquest, whether it is by providing money and resources to the Jihadists or to be a Jihadist yourself. Because Islam is expressed in physical supremacy, violence against non-Muslims becomes the essence of religion. And anything that suggests Islam is not absolutely superior touches on Islamic insecurities as blasphemy.
When Muslims explode into outbursts of violent rage over seemingly petty things like a cartoon or a comment by a politician or newspaper, it is because to them, any loss of face for Islam is the worst kind of blasphemy. Because Islam is a religion of physical supremacy…anything that challenges that supremacy is interpreted by them as a direct attack on their beliefs. What the Ten Commandments are for the Jew, or the resurrection of Jesus for the Christian — the physical dominance of Islam is to the Muslim. POLITICAL SUPREMACISM is the be-all and end-all of a Muslim’s faith and it is no aberration or ‘twisting’ or ‘perversion’ of Islam, but the real Islam of Mohammed.

In the 1990s – after we had had a couple of decades of a massive Muslim influx, mostly from Lebanon, people who claimed to be “refugees” from the (caused by Islam!) civil war there (which civil war, by the way, was at bottom due to Sunni Muslims breeding up and then making a push for dominance over the previously-dominant Maronite Christians; the involvement of Israel was actually a sideshow, provoked only by Muslims using Lebanese territory as a springboard for jihad raids into northern Israel, if the Muslims had left Israel strictly alone Israel would never have gotten involved, I think) we found ourselves having to create a specialised “Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad”.
Although we’ve had Jews since the first fleet, and a steady trickle of Christians fleeing Lebanon and Syria and Egypt from the late 19th century onward, we had *never* had to create a dedicated “Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad” UNTIL the Ummah established a major colony in our biggest city. As soon as they got here the Lebanese Muslims jumped into the crime scene – extortion and ‘protection’ rackets, car rebirthing, criminal bikie gangs, illegal drug importation manufacture and pushing, you name it they do it – boots and all; and unlike other ‘communities’ with bad eggs in their midst (such as the East Asians and Italians) the *rest* of the Ummah habitually closed ranks around their criminals and has been singularly uncooperative.
The Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad is one of the busiest arms of Law Enforcement in Australia…and curiously enough, pretty nearly all the perps they actually catch tend to have Mohammedan names and their female belongings (who always turn up at the court cases in force, weeping and wailing and spitting insults) are usually Islamically dressed.
Here’s a classic article by an Aussie cop who saw the Muslim crime wave as it was getting under way. He doesn’t *quite* ‘get’ how closely connected ISLAM is with said crime wave; but once one mentally translates ‘middle eastern’ into “Muslim’ throughout, it is perfectly comprehensible to anyone who knows anything about Islam.

You are spot on with that. I lived in the M.E. for many years and one thing that myself and other Westerners noticed is that they can never be self-critical and must put the blame on others, especially non-Muslims and the West. It is part of the national psyche.

Nonie Darwish – raised Muslim, in a well-to-do family in Egypt (and in Gaza, for much of her childhood) talks about exactly that: the Muslim rejection of self-examination, self-critique, and personal responsibility.
She herself was uncomfortable with Islam as a child and teenager, aware of disconnects, and willing to befriend non-Muslims. One could say that – by the grace of the real God – she was blessed with curiosity and empathy. She was bigger than the Islamic straitjacket in which she was bound.
And way back in 2004, in one of her early articles, before she had publicly declared herself an apostate but when she was clearly seeking beyond it, she talks about what a revelation it was when some Jewish people she had got to know in America explained to her the meaning of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. She talks about how radical a concept it was, that you would examine your own life, your own decisions, your own sins and failures. How *different* it was from the culture in which she had been raised.

What a Muslim Learned on Yom Kippur
“In September, Jews celebrated their New Year of 5765 with the holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. I know very little about the Jewish religion, but I had heard of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
“My Jewish friends explained to me the importance of a ten-day period from the eve of Rosh Hashanah through the day of Yom Kippur. This marks the “ten days of repentance” in Jewish tradition.
“Yom Kippur encourages Jews to examine themselves, to assume responsibility for their transgressions and for the task of self-improvement.
“Given my cultural background, this concept is entirely new to me…”.
“To admit one’s flaws and mistakes, to correct and repent, challenges a person of any nationality.
“In Muslim culture, however, it is inconceivable.
“To acknowledge one’s shortcomings before first blaming others would bring deep shame and dishonor not only to the individual but to his or her entire family. Those who admit fault, even unintentional guilt, are regarded as foolish. If the mistake is a cultural taboo, one’s reputation may be scarred for life and the perpetrator might end up brutally punished.
“In Arab (sic: Muslim – dda) society, I was discouraged from sinning out of fear of a wrathful God – and fear of society’s cruel punishment, which awaited sinners right here on earth.
“There was no reward for loving humanity as whole, striving to improve oneself, and bringing out the best in the human spirit…
“…in Friday prayers at the mosque, no one mentioned the common sin of wronging one’s neighbor, of stepping on him in a rush to self-promotion. Evil was always out there, never in here….
“Those who had the courage to be self-critical were harshly punished. Many others feared shame – and having to face uncomfortable truths – surrounding the negative aspects in Arab and Muslim culture…”.
“…On Rosh Hashanah, Jews do not wish one other a “Happy New Year,” as others do on the first of January. The traditional Hebrew greeting is “Shanah Tovah,” which means a “good year” or “a year of goodness.” This simple phrase stresses one’s yearning for moral uprightness and a life committed to improving the world.
“Hearing my Jewish friends explain the teachings of their faith during the “ten days of repentance,” I am in awe…”.

Andrew wrote: “They really can’t face any criticism”
Criticism is unacceptable to Muslims for two reasons: 1. Islam is ‘perfect’ and perfection admits no criticism. 2. Criticism by dirty kafirs is an impertence, whether the criticism is ‘true’, ‘factual’ and ‘accurate’ or not. Criticism implies that the kafirs are equal to Muslims, so the implication must be corrected by violence.

Mortimer, I like reading your posts and this one made particular sense. You reminded me of that section of Ali Sina’s book on Mohammed where he shows how Islam is a cult, similar to Jonestown. He lists all the points one by one; the point about physical intimidation stands out. Any criticism of Islam, Islamic doctrine or Mohammed and Muslims react. Even a cartoon will provoke violence.
Islam can only assert itself physically because mentally, doctrinally and spiritually there is nothing of value. It was the way of the founder Mohammed, who didn’t really expand his “religion” until he became physically violent.
mortimer says
efoc wrote: “Islam can only assert itself physically because mentally, doctrinally and spiritually there is nothing of value.”
Not exactly correct. There is a small amount of value in the Islamic lifestyle, but it is overwhelmed by the evils of a primitive, 7th-century…even a Bronze-Age…mentality.
However, you missed the main point: THE HONOR CULTURE of Islam. It is the primitive, superstitious, illiterate desert culture of Arabs.
They see ‘pride’ and ‘honor’ to be synonymous with male privilege, prestige and CONTROL OF THE TRIBE.
Without ‘HONOR’ Muslims feel they have NOTHING. That is why Muslims want (…even ‘need’) to remove the ‘honor’ of the dirty kafirs.
HONOR is the issue when Muslims commit violence. VIOLENCE brings ‘honor’ to Muslims and Islam…it is a warrior-DEATH CULT.

Okay. All Islamosavvy persons in the Sydney area – especially those who live and work in and around Parramatta, within a ten mile radius of that damned Parramatta Mosque – should be *demanding* that this mosque be shut down. Now.
It is *no different* from a crack house, outlaw bikie gang den, or mafioso hideout.
It must be shut down.
And no more mosques should be permitted to be built anywhere in Australia.
I hope that all persons here present who are connected with local groups attempting to prevent building of mosques – e.g. in Bendigo, Victoria, and in Maroochydore, Queensland – are copying this article (and a bunch of other articles to do with this jihad attack in Parramatta) and forwarding it to the local Councils, and saying: **Are you prepared to gamble the lives of the people in this municipality on the blind hope that the mosque you are proposing to permit to be built will never, never, never nurture and facilitate the murder of non-Muslim persons in its vicinity? That it *won’t* turn out to be just like this deadly-dangerous Parramatta mosque, now associated with jihad plots and an outright act of murder committed in the name of ‘allah’? Because…we’re NOT. We do NOT wish to play ‘Muslim Roulette”.”
Steve says
I agree, and I have lived within ten miles or so of there, in an area heavily populated by Arabs and Muslims – not nice, a lot of intimidation from some of them, usually young men, even if you mind your own business, random threats on the street, aggressive neighbors etc. I have written elsewhere that there needs to be a limit on mosque construction, no more than 1 per big city and none for smaller ones, non-sectarian at that, and closely monitored for any extremist tendencies. Otherwise it just grows and grows, and integration is impossible. The Saudis allow zero churches or temples of non-Islamic faiths, yet we in the West allow mosques and Islam to spread unchecked, they are laughing at our stupidity, like when they offered to fund 200 more mosques for Germany, which already has thousands if you include prayer-halls. Islam is winning at this rate, unless the West gets some spine and stands up for itself it will be lost by 2100 at the latest, to an exploding global Islam with large nuclear arsenals to back it up. And to think that just a century ago it would have been easy to march on Mecca and do a Kitchener on the Kaaba, problem solved.

How many years AFTER Mohammed and his gang of henchmen beheaded Jews and raided Jewish trading caravans did Islam become a RELIGION of PEACE?
Diana says
There were no Jewish trading caravans.
Muhammad & his Merry Men first raided caravans belonging to POLYTHEISTS. The most famous of these raids is now known as the Battle of Badr.
Then they beheaded JEWS who had talked about (but had not in fact acted upon) selling out the Muslims to those same polytheists, and this occurred in the market-place of their own city.
After that he raided Bedouin camps belonging to DIFFERENT POLYTHEISTS and also some CHRISTIANS. And he besieged YET OTHER POLYTHEISTS in a trading city miles & miles away with which he had had no previous interactions, and soon afterwards he besieged DIFFERENT JEWS in some yet other cities.
The Merry Men did quite a lot. So I’m not surprised that you’re confused about the exact identity of the victims-on-camelback.

While we’re waiting for the great Australian public and their elected officials to gradually wake up and work around to the point where they realize Islam is so dangerous that all mosques should be razed and all Muslims evicted from the country, as an interim measure it is surely not impossible for ASIO and the AFP to see to it that every known mosque in the country is bugged – for audio and visual – inside and out, not excluding the ablutions area and the janitor’s mop and bucket cupboard. With CCTV cameras scanning the grounds. Install some of those with great fanfare, to ‘protect’ the mohammedans from that dreadful ‘backlash’ and those horrible Infidel mosque vandalisers they profess to be so afraid of…and then install *others*, without fanfare..*concealed* cameras positioned so that every car number plate in the mosque carpark gets scanned as it goes in and out. Etc.
Anything funny happens – like this jihad attack – then the mosque gets shut down and the imam and other head honchoes get deported.
It would be a good first step, and I think it can quite consistently be argued for, now.
Similarly, given that this Parramatta jihadist and quite a few other nasty mohammedans who have either committed crimes or plotted jihad have been ‘refugees’ – and others have been immigrants – there’s a pretty good case for arguing against all further entry of Muslims into Australia; one just keeps hammering on the precautionary principle.

DDA–What are Oz’s gun control laws and enforcement like?
Diana says
They became tougher after a mass-murder 20+ years ago (nothing to do with Islam, just a bad case of ASPD). Many gun-fanciers and hobby-shooters had to hand in their weapons.
To procure a gun licence nowadays it is necessary to demonstrate: (1) that the gun is needed for work purposes, e.g., a farmer who needs to shoot rabbits; (2) that there is no history of crime or mental illness; (3) that one knows how to fire it properly and clean it up afterwards.
However, the laws are different between states, and a gun that is legal in one place might be illegal across the border.
JIMJFOX says
Best legal way to gun ownership is via a club; NO, you don’t have to prove any reason

I believe what we are really witnessing and have been witnessing throughout the world recently is the Collapse of Islam.
Both Baha’i and Islamic references refer to this collapse and it began with the Ottoman Empire and now Islam is in its death throes. Nothing can save it. The corruption is too widespread and it’s too late to do anything about the decline and no consensus or central authority to which the Muslim world can turn to for guidance.
Here are some quotes one from an Islamic tradition and another from Baha’u’llah stating that the throne of Islam had fallen and that was a century ago.
Collapse of Islám
“A day shall be witnessed by My people whereon there will have remained of Islám naught but a name, and of the Qur’án naught but a mere appearance. The doctors of that age shall be the most evil the world hath ever seen. Mischief hath proceeded from them, and on them will it recoil.”
Excerpt From: Effendi, Shoghi. “The World Order of Bahá’u’lláh.”
“O concourse of Muslim divines! By your deeds the exalted station of the people hath been abased, the standard of Islám hath been “reversed, and its mighty throne hath fallen.”
Excerpt From: Effendi, Shoghi. “The World Order of Bahá’u’lláh.”
” The Apostle of God said :
`There will come a time for my people when there will remain nothing of the Qur’an except its outward form and nothing of Islam except its name and they will call themselves by this name even though they are the people furthest from it. The mosques will be full of people but they will be empty of right guidance. The religious leaders (Fuqaha) of that day will be the most evil religious leaders under the heavens; sedition and dissension will go out from them and to them will it return.’ ..”

Gun control makes Australia safe for Islam.
Lenny Thetruth says
Yes, Gun Control is the first thing potential tyrants want. Socialists too, because they both want to be fully in control. In the US, we have one rich person who is funding Gun Control efforts. He used to be the mayor of New York City. He rails against guns. He did have a squad of policemen to guard him. When his term of mayor was over, he hired all the policemen he could, from his squad, to work as his “private” bodyguards. So, it’s okay for him not to be armed, as long as everyone around him is.
Now, in Australia, people think they are safer without guns. This has set up a black market for guns. People with machine shops are building them. Old guns are easily manufactured as they are simple.Underground fighters in France made them in WWII. Israel made the Uzi. Guns are there already. It’s just that most people don’t know, because they are not robbed at gunpoint. You don’t have gunfights in the streets. It’s not because there aren’t guns. It’s because the people are not the same as Americans.
As bad as you hear it, the US does have a high rate of violence that nobody wants. The US tops the list of first world murders. But, if you take out 4 cities with high crime rates, and readjust your figures, we are now at the bottom of that same list. An interesting point is that those four cities have in common, is they all have very restrictive gun control laws.

Memo to those who seem to be wanting to make this a thread about Guns and argue about Australian law re guns, vs American law.
That is not the point here.
*The* salient point is that this young Muslim got a *weapon* at the mosque – someone came to the mosque and slipped him a weapon – and that he was *weaponised* (metaphorically/ psychologically speaking) at the mosque.
(The weapon appears to have been given him by a member of a Muslim crime gang…but it needn’t have been. Really, it needn’t. It might equally well have been given him by a nice besuited educated Mohammedan, a doctor or lawyer, with no criminal record, who had obtained said gun – after producing all the relevant paperwork – on the basis that he needed it to deal with feral animals on his hobby farm in the Blue Mountains. It’s perfectly possible that there are ‘sleeper cell’ Mohammedans in Australia who have guns legally acquired by exactly the same means as those Australian infidels who possess them…but who have acquired them because they are in sympathy with the Jihad, and who intend to use them in Jihad – or give them to *others* to use – when they deem the time is ripe).
The weapon need not have been a gun.
It could just as easily have been a hammer, a tomahawk, a machete, a kitchen knife or a machete, concealed underneath those flowing robes. Curtis Cheng – attacked from behind unawares – would be just as dead.
Right now, Muslims in Israel are busy *knifing* Jews. They have *killed* people by stabbing them. In Ikea in Sweden, a Muslim snatched up a knife from the kitchenware section and murdered two people who probably didn’t even see him coming.
And there’s a further possibility. What if he hadn’t had either a gun or a knife or suchlike, but had *instead* been fitted up with an explosive vest?? He was, remember, wearing black flowing robes…just the sort of clothing that can conceal that sort of thing. Suppose he had simply strolled past the entrance of Police HQ, dawdling along so as to place himself in the middle of a knot of people emerging, and…**detonated a bomb vest**.
Again: suppose he hadn’t bothered to dump his *schoolbag* or his school uniform (which is, by the way, the uniform of quite a good local State High School). Suppose that, in the mosque, he had **packed plastic explosives and a detonator into his schoolbag**; and then ambled gently past police HQ, licking an ice-cream and slurping on a milk-shake…and stopped just outside the entrance as innocent people like Curtis Cheng emerged…and…pressed the button. Just like the blokes with their backpacks on the London underground and buses, back in 2005.
In a way, we were lucky he merely let fly with a revolver. Had he been fitted out with a bomb vest or a bomb in his schoolbag, the death toll would have been a hell of a lot higher.
But the thing is – it isn’t just *guns* you might find in a mosque, I’ll bet my bottom dollar that some have (in a sub-basement, perhaps) the makings of bomb vests, exploding backpacks, exploding underwear, and a rack of knives and clubs. In the Al Aqsa mosque that squats on top of the Temple Mount, Israeli police have found piles of *rocks* all heaped up, and molotov cocktails (or the makings thereof).
There is of course also the further angle, that the mosque is the ‘rendezvous’ but might not necessarily (in western countries) be the *storage* point. Person A goes to the mosque; Person B goes to the mosque; the ‘parcel” (be it bomb vest, exploding underwear, gun, knife, machete, hand grenade) changes hands on the Q.T. (maximum plausible deniability for the mosque admin).
