Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Jerusalem Mufti denies Temple Mount ever housed the Jewish Temple

Oct 26, 2015 8:33 am By Ralph Sidway

Islamic “Replacement Theology” in its most extreme form, courtesy of an Abbas-appointed cleric.

“Jerusalem mufti: Temple Mount never housed Jewish Temple,” by Ilan Ben Zion, The Times of Israel, October 25, 2015:

Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein says Al-Aqsa Mosque has been atop disputed holy site ‘since creation of the world’

The grand mufti of Jerusalem, the Muslim cleric in charge of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, said Sunday that there’s never been a Jewish temple atop the Temple Mount, and that the site has been home to a mosque “since the creation of the world.”

Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein said in an Arabic interview with Israel’s Channel 2 that the site, considered the third holiest in Islam and the holiest to Jews, was a mosque “3,000 years ago, and 30,000 years ago” and has been “since the creation of the world.”

“This is the Al-Aqsa Mosque that Adam, peace be upon him, or during his time, the angels built,” the mufti said of the 8th-century structure commissioned by Caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan.

He vehemently denied that there has ever been a Jewish shrine atop the Temple Mount, despite rich archaeological and textual evidence to the contrary, including from Muslim sources. The 10th-century Muslim historian Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad Shams al-Din al-Muqaddasi wrote in his description of Syria and Palestine that “in Jerusalem is the oratory of David and his gate; here are the wonders of Solomon and his cities,” and that the foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque “were laid by David.”

A guide to the Haram al-Sharif, as the Temple Mount is known in Arabic, published by the Muslim Waqf in 1924 mentioned the presence of two Jewish temples atop the Jerusalem compound in antiquity.

At least four inscriptions from Herod’s Temple, destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE, attest to the presence of a Jewish temple atop the 37-acre platform he had engineered over 2,000 years ago.

One of Hussein’s predecessors as chief custodian of the Jerusalem holy site, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, made headlines recently after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu charged in a speech that the Palestinian Muslim leader inspired Adolf Hitler’s Final Solution of exterminating the Jews. Netanyahu took flak from Holocaust scholars, politicians, and even the German government, who pointed out that the extermination of Europe’s Jews was already in full swing when Husseini met Hitler in 1941, and that there was no concrete evidence to support that charge.

The Jerusalem holy site has been the focus of recent violent clashes between Israeli security officers and Palestinian rioters. While Jewish visitors are allowed to enter the site, Jewish worship is banned. Israel and Jordan agreed Saturday to placing CCTV cameras on the Temple Mount in a bid to calm tensions and monitor possible violations of the status quo, a move rejected by Palestinian leaders.

so mufti Hussein, genius boy, who built the retaining wall that the Dome of the Rock sits on? answer; it was Herod the Great who expanded the Temple mount and rebuilt the Temple in 30 BC. The stones of Herod’s temple lay scattered at the base of that retaining wall today just where General Titus of Rome left them after the temple was completely destroyed in 70 AD. SO PUT THAT IN YOUR HASH PIPE AND SMOKE THAT!!!!!

It’s actually mentioned a few times in the Koran though not by name, but inference. The Koran presupposes its readers to be adequately enough versed in Jewish tradition that they would be able to make these inferences Indeed a truly universal book for all of mankind. ? One just needs to have a tafsir handy if they aren’t well enough versed in pre-Islamic history and myth to go it alone.

He has no idea about history, that Islamic supremacist deny simple scientific facts. When Islam emerged the world was already 4 billion years old. All they can is talk nonsense and lie. King Salomon, David’s son built the first temple. That’s why the place is called Temple Mount and not Haram al Sharif.

    • gravenimage says

Epistemology, Muslims deny that Islam started with Muhammed.

This is why they claim that all the Jewish prophets–and Jesus–were actually *Muslim* prophets. They also claim that the Torah and Bible “didn’t contradict” the Qur’an in their “original” form–(while, of course, being vague about whether they actually *were* the Qur’an before being “corrupted” by Jews and Christians). If they *were* the Qur’an, of course–which Muslims hold to be “uncreated” and hence to have existed from the dawn of time–then there is nothing special about the “Prophet” Muhammed having brought it.

But Islam does not need to be rational or consistent–it just needs to support Muslim supremacism, as it clearly does here.

Can we just rename islam to “Mohammad’s Extraordinarily-F%#@^&ing-Convenient Cult”? That is the gist of all of it, amirite??!!

(Here is a simple idea; the IDF (or their friends who aren’t too worried about stepping around where the Holies of Holies once stood….which is most likely underneath where the dome of the rock was placed (as institutional history or place history can be easily passed down amongst generations without a formal book so that Jews who were living around Jerusalem even after the Temple’s destruction in 76(?) AD could have passed on that knowledge up to the generation that saw the Muslim invasion (as well as the Romans and then Christian Byzantines after Constantine and St. Helena were there in, I think 325 AD, to locate the places of Christ’s tomb where the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is, rather than the “Garden Tomb”, as the Romans purposely built a temple to Venus over the Tomb to piss off early Christians…but they passed on the knowledge generation to generation) RAZE the mosque and look for non-muslim archeological evidence underneath it. It is the ONLY way to be SURE. Heck, gimme a shovel and pick and be happy to have a crack at it….

The arabs live in fear that the Jews will find the Ark of the Covenant, which Jeremiah might have hidden in one of the tunnels under the Temple Mount before the Babylonian invasion. That’s why they hop up & down & screech whenever Israel unearths another bit of Jewish history in the holy land.

Delusional. So much for archeology and his historic records from antiquity…including Hadrian’s Column and eyewitness descriptions of the Temple from contemporaries…not least in the New Testament.

Caliph abd al Malik built the Dome of the Rock sanctuary as a destination of pilgrimage to replace Petra where the Arabian shrines to Dhu Shara (the moon god) and Allat chabar (the mighty goddess Venus) were located. Mosques were built facing Petra as late as 740, over 100 hundred years after the change of the direction of Islamic prayer supposedly occurred. What REALLY happened. The archeology does not lie.

This delusional piece of human garbage and his fabrications are really no different than any other group’s religious claims when it comes right down to it. Religious belief and foundations are only a function of repeating the same fantasies over and over again until they take hold because people desperately want to believe them. What is offensive is how blatant his lies are — and that he’s a moslem. And as a moslem, his agenda is to take over the world for his death cult. So even I am offended by his silly claims.

Don, one need not believe in the God of Israel to understand the historicity of the Jewish Temple, nor of Jewish history in the Levant dating back at least 3000 years.

As for Israel being “some little piece of land in the arm pit of the world”, I think it is clear that it depends on what you *do* with such land.

Places like Gaza are pretty arid and grim–but right over the border with Israel–over what is referred to as the “Green Line”–the land is irrigated and fertile. And more than that, Israel is a vibrant democratic society, and a great ally of the free West–while surrounding Muslim countries are violent, chaotic, and unfree.

Like so much else, quality of life is determined by the philosophy and ethos of those involved. Can you really believe this makes no difference?

So whilst you see delusion, I too see lack of critical analysis, and also foolishness- yours.
That the imam is delusional, is partly because his history is so falsified, and won’t even allow any critical examination. The torah faith that he craves to destroy welcomey the critical examination, and yes, if you must, you may decide to deride it or parts- without any fear of your head being removed from your trunk.

    — ‘since creation of the world’
    ————————————–
Muslims believe they can strong arm Islam into legitimacy.

Muslims want it both ways —
Muhammad clearly turned his back on Jerusalem to pray instead toward Mecca after the massacre of Jews in Medina long before the mosque was even built.
Muslims have no legitimate religious sights in Jerusalem. NONE

    — Exodus from Medina
Desert spirits spoke in twisted verse, a dance of words to recite, to recite.
Medina’s false prophet this rehearsed in a cave near Mecca veiled by night.
Then the angel Gabriel saw his descent, and said “Pawn of Satan turn, repent, repent.”
But, Islam’s infected creed was fertilized by a sociopath’s made-up dream.
Muhammad’s attempts to partner with Allah were dredged up from the lowest pit of his vanity. Bloodied hands are now washed before prayers that incite as hate speech to recite, to recite.
Whenever, false humility makes a hajj to Satan’s curse,
Islam’s dead Serpent crawls out from his stockpile of vile, veiled verse.

But he’s a moslim, and he is doing what moslims do: speak lies and expect people of the world to believe him…because he’s moslim. Some may…most likely, some other moslims who want to believe him.

Adam didn’t need a barracks…he wasn’t at war with anyone. So this moslim claiming that the offensive building was built during Adam’s time is so very insanely stupid And this fool hasn’t yet made up his *mind* whether Adam built it or the angels did. He’ll decide that later, when it suits his purpose, whichever way he decides will enhance islam the most.

This is so disgusting. That someone such as this fool is given time on television…in Israel…to spout such lies and nonsense
Written history and archaeology prove there was a Temple…two temples…built by the Jews (Hebrews) on that site.
But, because he’s moslim, he can say that’s not so, and people listen.

The beast is having its turn to corrupt the air with its foul lying breath. Soon, its evil rule will be finished

This is, of course, important for another reason–if there was no Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, then it means that Jews have no history in Israel–and that hence Jews are recent there, and that the land actually belongs to Muslims.

In which case, ravening Mohammedans destroying democratic Israel and turning it into another Islamic hell hole while mass-murdering or enslaving all the Jews there is perfectly right and just.

          Very true, Angemon.

Here is one such claim. The salient feature starts about 1/4 of the way down the page:

“…the entire story of the so-called “satanic verses” is a lie fabricated by the infidels against Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him”

          http://www.answering-christianity.com/satanic_verses.htm

Never mind that this incident is referred to in the Qur’an–which is considered “uncreated” by Muslims.

If so, then how did the “filthy Infidels” manage to corrupt it in order to make Islam look bad?

Wouldn’t that cast doubt on everything in the Qur’an? It also does not explain why Muslims would have continued including this supposedly false Sura in the Qur’an for centuries.

But then, when have Muslims ever had to be consistent–or rational?

I wasn’t sure what cookiebaker meant about the last statement “The Jews were there at least 500 hundred years before a guy asked to convert was turned down because his clause was he wanted to the Messiah. So he came up with Islam!”, except if he was referring to the prophet Mohammed, and that could make sense, generally.

I think it is written across the temple mount that there was “no Jewish presence ever” in Arabic. No one seemed to refute that. There is so much overwhelming evidence of Jewish presence not only on the temple mount but throughout Jerusalem and present day Israel. If archaelogists are not hindered like they are today, they could probably prove not only Jewish presence, but also proof of the 1st temple of Solomon. The Muslims don’t want that. They can’t stand up to true scrutiny, since they have been dumping archaelogical finds with bulldozers to build their “trench” for their new mosque under the temple mount. How crazy can that be?.

Muslims must believe that everyone is as stupid as they are! Earth is 4.5 Billion, (with a “B”), years old, as has been proved scientifically, and you can forget about Bishop Usher’s math) Earth was too damn hot when new to support water, life or mosque building! All religious people believe SOME absurd stuff, but EVERYTHING muslims believe is absurd and laughable! I am sure glad there are ignorant, backward places like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Chechnya and the Ayatollah’s paradise, Iran! Just imagine if we had to absorb all those millions of rabid, brain-dead islamists into our advanced nations… spreading a thick layer of insanity and stupidity over all the world! Long live the ignorant, backward, barbaric muslim places! Now we need to build walls around them!
